See that D-Bry commercial? that's what they should've been doing months ago. Don't find petty reasons to not support your most over wrestler, just do whatever you have at your disposal to make money out of the guy. Late as hell, but good job nonetheless by WWE. Also, I'm happy as fuck they didn't break The Shield tonight. If Cena's injury is serious, Shield vs Wyatts II is an amazing backup plan

    Maan, fuck Green Bay.
  3. My only complaint about the Chamber match was crowd reaction, the only moment I really felt tension and drama was when Bryan kicked out of the RKO and the fans thought that maybe he could pull it off. All six guys worked their asses off and I agree with Loss and Will about the pacing and roles each guy played to perfection, but at that point of the show I needed more crowd involvement for the match to really connect with me.
  4. After watching Bryan on SD! running another gauntlet I was wondering who was the last guy on WWE who wrestled as much as D-Bry every time they were on WWE TV? Has there ever been a guy on that company who has had a similar run on TV? Not saying it's a big deal or anything, I'm just curious. Maybe mookie could have the answer to this?

It weird, if his return meant something for the big spike in buys for HIAC, shouldn't at least some of that carry over to Survivor Series and TLC?

  7. Just posting this so any rating discussion/panic is out of the window Similar trend as always with different names in different segments.

Yeah, doesn't surprise me that Henry is doing jobs left and right considering he wants new people on top and help the new guys get over (in his interview with Rosenberg he said he was friends with Cesaro, Shield and Bryan). Besides, they can always rebuild him pretty quickly, he was happy go lucky Kool Aid man before going in that amazing run in 2011.
  9. Very good interview with Cena. You can tell the guy know how shit works and that he's a company guy first and foremost, he's learning Mandarin for god's sakes. It was funny hearing Austin call John out on his STF and Cena giving Steve a year notice for Wrestlemania 31.

The set up for the AA was great as well.

How sad is that this 3-4 week feud between the Wyatts and The Shield is the best thing they've booked in a long ass time? Can't even remember the last time a match felt important without a belt on the line.

The latter...or he just officially turned heel 10 minutes ago.
  14. Yeah, posted them in the Meltzer thread
  15. RE: Bryan's merch Going for that Che Guevara feel. I think it's an improvement at least.
  16. Most people that know me know that I love wrestling, but besides a couple of girlfriends, they have no idea who much I love and how much I watch/have watched. Someone might bring up wrestling when telling a joke or a weird reference and I jump in and say I've always like it but the thing ends there, nobody has ever asked me much about it because no one gives a shit But I gotta say, wrestling doesn't have nearly the bad rep it has in the US here in Chile. Like, it's seen as a nerdy thing if you still watch it but it was huge here in the Attitude Era and had a considerable resurgence between 05' and 08', so there's a whole generation that remembers it fondly - and those who didn't watch it, don't really give a damn about it - there's no baggage from decades of being portrayed as a joke or just "fake fighting" even though wrestling had been on TV in Chile since the 60's (and had a couple of "booms", so to speak). I mean, it was never the coolest thing to be a fan of or anything like that, but it certainly isn't as bad as in the US.
  17. I don't know. I would make a very simple t-shirt with a little logo of D-Bry doing the "Yes pose" - kinda like a wink to the Air Jordan logo - in the front and then a "YES" on the back. That's it.
  18. Yup. I remember Dave pointing out every mediocre buyrate or low ratings gain Punk was involved in when he was champion. He never talked about his merch numbers.

Yeah, they've used it a lot in recent years. Even in cases were it was pretty obvious the Rumble winner wasn't going to actually headline the show, like Sheamus and Del Rio.
  20. Copy/pasting is really weird. There's no "paste" option when I right click something I copied. When I click on the "paste" icon on the reply feature, nothing appears....until I hit "Post". Only then I can see that the thing I was trying to c/p actually worked.
  21. Again, with no quarter hours is kinda pointless but it's still the same pattern. Compared to last week, the last hour only had 170k more viewers, that doesn't say much honestly.

Some camera or sound guy is getting fired tonight. You could hear Cena and Orton calling spots all match long, this was even worse than some CM Punk matches, just blatant stuf.. At some point they were on the tope rope and you could actually see them talking to each other
  23. Dirty Dutch taped an interview with Austin today
