Jack Evans is accusing Ciudad de México police of extorting him for 350 bucks and he says he's not paying them anymore so if they "find drugs" on him and arrest him it's because of the police planted it.
So was the stuff on his back something to "protect" him from the flaming table spot?
I've never been interested in Cody Rhodes and that isn't changing with what I've seen from AEW. I do appreciated him busting his ass in these matches but, meh.
Moriarty has been great here, Punk not so much. That pin trade they did was a struggle, it seemed Lee refused to win and had to push Punk away for the kick out.
Danielson and Punk taking care of 40-60 minutes of Dynamite every week is a genius move. It's like when The Shield, Bryan, Cesaro and Punk took care of 60-90 of RAW in 2013.
I love the contrast of Punk "struggling" against opponents that he should put away fast and Dragon taking the first opportunity he can get to knock the fuck out of his opponent, kick his head in and then submit him.
That Silver match should be a banger
I hope Punk going that long against QT is actually part of the MJF angle because that didn't need to go past the commercial break unless they are trying to make a point out of Punk struggling with "low tier" guys.
I'd hope if/when WWE eventually signs an important wrestler from AEW or somewhere else, he/she would force them to go away with the 90 days no compete and set a precedent, at least make it 30 days like NXT contracts.
I was trying to remember if he got into any trouble after his ex tried to stab him. Was he cheating on her too?
And Taka even had to leave his own promotion (Kaintai Dojo), so it had to be a pretty big deal. It does make you wonder why some infidelity cases are able to go under the radar and others don't.
Like I said, fucking FINALLY! I've been asking for this for like 5 years
New Japan's president made it sound like they will be doing more of these "vs" type shows so I'm expecting a NJ vs AEW one and hopefully we get NJ vs AJ se we can once and for all watch Kento face Tana in a singles match.
