  1. I'd be curious to know why he doesn't wear knee pads.
  2. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/975598...ve-drop-kicking Article on Memphis wrestling reunion in Tunica. The show is on sale at Highspots, but the Lawler vs Jarrett main event is not included.
  3. What Dick Murdoch match do you guys recommend to check out?

  8. Is there an RSS feed for this? Looks very intriguing.
  9. Great tidbit... Austin: I haven't gotten around to reading your book yet. Flair: Neither have I.

My wife despises wrestling, but loves the Kardashians, etc. I talked her into watching Total Divas and she really enjoyed it and is looking forward to the rest of the season. Maybe by the end she will grow to appreciate wrestling

  13. Anyway you spin it, no one on this board knows how it feels to walk in the shoes of being the son of Ric Flair.
  14. They also ran my hometown, Jonesboro, Ark, which had a population of 30-40k in the 80's and over 50k in the 90's.
  15. I hope Orton doesn't win. It would be nice too see Bryan or Ziggler get the rub and be showcased. But highly doubt either guy gets "picked".

  17. Yeah, I believe he helped write for Dave many years ago. Now he writes strictly about the NFL for Fox or some outlet along those lines. So at least Konann is mixing him up with a real person.
  18. The Main Event had Kurt Angle unmask one of the Aces & 8's to reveal... MIKE KNOX! Tenay went on about how Taz knows this guy and how we know who it is. I didn't, until they mentioned his name in a bit. Tenay and Taz are reasons 1 and 1A why I do not watch TNA. I go months without watching, then watch one week and enjoy the wrestling for the most part but can't overcome Tenay being so intense and excited about a show that has a million different things going on with little payoff. It's the announcer who cried wolf. If he would mellow and provide color like he did in WCW he would be bearable. Maybe TNA needs more luchadores for him to work with. Taz rambles and does nothing for me and appears to have no business commentating. I was checked out of wrestling while he was in the booth for WWE but I assume I didn't miss anything that would leave a void in my life. Does anyone else agree the purging of announcers would go a long ways in making TNA feel different than the terrible Russo booked shows?
  19. Konann calling Bryan Alvarez, Alex Marvez repeatedly on the MLW podcast is hysterical.

  21. Best part of the podcast: Will throws an open ended question at Dylan so he has time to eat his pizza.
  22. Yeah I listened to the first podcast and STUGGLED to finish it. Not a fan of his co-hosts or for that matter Roddy's podcasting skills either.
  23. A scene in the movie Grumpy Old Men, Walter Mathaw sits in his kitchen and wrestling is on the tv. I believe it was WWF but can recall the wrestlers.
  24. Speaking of Sabu, is there a sloppier wrestler when talking to their opponent mid-match? Most Sabu matches I've watched he could give two fucks about being covert.
  25. Regardless of how underutilized we think Awesome was, no denying the fact that the 70's Guy gimmick completely missed the boat on his potential. That period is blurry for me, was he still the 70's guy once WCW folded?
