On great matchs, there is one with Rick Martel (AWA Set). They have good chemistry. Thinking about other great match, I only find tag matchs - certainly one of the best tag workers in the nominees.

According to the Lou Thesz forum, this match took place one month later (same card as Viann-Byers) and not at the Chicago Amphitheatre ! The japanese version have them at April 1951. First fall, the challenger was a bit shy. Like Sleaze, I like how Thesz keeps control on his headlocks with his closed fists. The crowd want Silverstein to be more "stiff" and he throws some nice foreams seconds later. Second fall was short. The third fall, they are equals in the ring and it's a good showcase of Thesz's skills in defensive position.

I don't know if I can post other matchs than the Fred Kohler's ones. This match is the second match (and first on tape) of the biggest gate of 1950. It took place at the Chicago Stadium. It's more of an exhibition of Argentino's skills than a real match. I like how Gardini reacts at these unorthodox moves. And how can't you love the kicks on the head of the poor Gardini. Also, the voice here is Dennis James. He is a lighter version of Russ Davis.

I really like this match. June Byers was the star of women wrestling at this time (a good amount of footage is available on Youtube) but Violet Viann outwrestled her in this match. Viann was a tremendous underdog here.

I tried the free february Network and I was on the fence to keep it for Wrestlemania but the RAW following Fast Lane has killed any enthusiasm to watch Wrestlemania. As an European, I don't want to be awake for a shitty night. I might watch it later for Rusev/Cena. It would be the second time (WM 27) that I don't watch WM live since I have Internet.

I like the match until the finish. Itami "Hulks Up" (or Fighting Spirit's) and no selling the leg was bad.
