Yeah I am here reading this thread at this moment because I had to turn it off due to the announcer laugh track.

They get less than 50% of the money from a PPV sale right? They probably are hoping that if they are getting an average of 100,000 buying pay per views to get double that buying the network. For the right price that definitely seems possible considering how many people buy Mania.

I came to make similar complaints about the crowd for this but thought it would probably already be covered. I was disappointed that Mysterio vs Ultimo Dragon wasn't included. The match was the perfect example of how great Mysterio is since he managed to completely win over the crowd by match end. I thought in that match the odd crowd actually ended up being an asset.

This thread was a great read. Really makes me wish that one day we get a WWE rivalry DVD. Bret vs Flair with both them together with Jim Ross making a case for why they are better than the other. As far as this debate I lean more towards Flair. When I watch wrestling though it is completely visceral to me. So I am not someone that could make a good case for one guy over the other. That is why I enjoy lurking here. I see a match discussed here and I can go watch it looking for certain things. Helps with replay value.

The backstage brawl with Sting leading up to the Halloween Havoc match is the first thing I remember from him at that time. A decent match with Flair in early 1998 and DDP at WW3. Nothing great though. Probably liked the brawl the most. That interview where he calls out El Dandy seems to be what most people mention when talking about WCW Bret Hart.

I thought this was going to be the Ryback promo thread based on the title.
