  1. If you're going back, there's a great little six man tag that somehow got buried on Superstars. Usos & Trent vs Kidd, Slater & Gabriel on Superstars June 30th 2011.
  2. My mother, who never cares about match quality, is even saying this is stupid and also called this exact finish like 15 minutes ago.
  3. I just never in my life thought that one day in the future I'd have to sit through Jinder Fucking Mahal PPV main events. What did I ever do to you God.
  4. Didn't Sami and Owens have their "blowoff" at a Battleground?
  5. The rules of the match make for the same awkward slow climbing we just saw in the fucking flag match, except its crawling to the doors instead. But they'll only ever be opened just before someone gets cut off, making everyone look slow and stupid. That's my memory of the last one.
  6. Yeah I don't think so unless the entrance music is what you are talking about I meant the Fashion Police.
  7. THE TRUTH IS STILL NOT H OR POSSIBLY IS H OR NOT WHO KNOWS WOOOOOOOOO O00OOOOOO.
  8. Now for the main event.
  9. OK Cena dramatically grabbing the flagpole before it went in the stand was fucking hilarious.
  10. They're already climbing so slowly. Pole matches can fuck off.
  11. Also when Owens rolled AJ up just then and gently placed a hand on his butt crack that was the laziest attempt at either pulling the tights or fondling someone's butt I've ever seen.
  12. Whatever the Fashion Police is doing hasn't happened yet right?
  13. Nattie has the most realistic character in the company I don't know what you're talking about.
  14. What's on first?
  15. All I'm looking forward to is finding out once and for all if the truth is or is not H.
  16. Regularly. Those ones are all from a period of a month or so, maybe a couple of months in 2003. I was already raving about her bumps and then I saw all of those one after the other and was just laughing at how it kept happening so I began sharing them with Elliott and Matt. There are plenty of other examples of similar bumps throughout her career, but particularly in 2002-03 when she was a face. WMX8 has quite a few. I'd have to comb through the files for more specifics. I just super don't know how she's not dead.
  17. She was always pretty good, and she looked fantastic in NXT vs Asuka which is why I assume she was rehired. But coming in as a heel killed any potential for an initial nostalgia run, and they haven't done anything with her since that would get her over. I'd be more surprised if she DID get heat tbh.
  18. http://placetobenation.com/stacey-elliotts-bogus-journey-episode-5-seasons-gwweetings/ Stacey & Elliott's Bogus Journey #5: Seasons GWWEetings! For the next few months Stacey and Elliott will be celebrating the PTBN Greatest Wrestler Ever project by focusing exclusively on matches from their favourite WWE wrestlers and discussing them as potential candidates for the list. First up we have two underappreciated workers in Drew McIntyre and Doink the Clown, as well as some general thoughts on the GWWE process. Today's matches: - Drew McIntyre vs Trent Barreta - Smackdown 12/31/10 - Drew McIntyre vs Trent Barreta - Smackdown 1/14/11 - Drew McIntyre vs Trent Barreta - Smackdown 1/21/11 - Doink the Clown vs Marty Jannetty (2/3 Falls) - Raw 6/21/93 (MDA thread) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgo4jn_drew-mcintyre-vs-trent-baretta-1-21-11_shortfilms http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2zy5am
  19. I prefer the match they had on Smackdown, 22nd June 2012, featuring this.
  20. They never drew a dime brother.
  21. Putting 205 Live in the middle was dumb as hell, it's no wonder. Fuck the cruiser division, seriously.
  22. He's got that RVD match from 2006.
  23. The funny thing is that the biggest success this company has is when they get behind a big babyface champ and have a face winning every night (Bruno, Hogan, Austin, Cena), and then they seemingly get amnesia about it and decide to beat all their faces into the ground thinking that will do anything.
  24. I agree wholeheartedly with Loss. It's exhausting being a WWE fan when they seem so determined to wage war against their paying customers. Instead of giving fans what they want they almost take gleeful satisfaction in frustrating them, like it's a game and they have to "win", and if you let the crowd become too happy then they "win" and you "lose" (somehow, by making more money?). The way that they have almost all heel champs. The way that they book PPVs where the heels win practically every match and give the crowd no feel good results. The way they get to the PPV and have heels retain their belts by some lame countout nonsense. The babyface can never get a damn win at the PPV! The way they had Hunter and Steph come out every week and berate the crowd and the crowd's favourite wrestlers for being stupid little marks for years up until very recently. The way they push a guy like Roman seemingly to spite people. The way they take an insanely popular dude like Enzo and have him be completely annihilated by a guy like Cass because one is 7ft tall and one isn't. The way they have insanely popular girls like Bayley and Sasha and have no idea what to do with them except beat them over and over and over. And so on. You combine all of that heel-heavy, disappointment-heavy booking with the general drag of three hour Raws and endless television that feels like it all runs together and it's all just...tiresome. There's no joy in watching at the moment. Wrestling should be fun - it should feel like fun - or else why waste our time with it? I need that joy and I'm not getting it from the main roster anymore outside of Fashion Police skits.
  25. I think it's more the Rock movie and her being in the news so often that is preventing WWE from firing her, not the fact that she's injured. I think Paige right now may be the first case in history where going back on the road with WWE would actually improve someone's personal life.
