  1. The first real STREAK match to me seemed to be the handicap against Albert/Show at XIX, because obviously he was the massive heel and favorite to win at X-8 against Ric.

Ambrose was on NBA Jam-level fire in that match. He did his job and Rollins's at the same time.

This is an important question: Since they've never, ever been consistent about the amount of participants in an MITB match, how many should we expect? Last year had seven in the WHC match and six in the WWE match. 2012 had 8 and 5, 2011 had 8 and 8. There's pretty much no way of knowing. We have one with ADR, but with three RAWs left (if they don't use either of the Tuesday taping shows, though I could see them sticking a lower-tier one on Main Event) to have qualifier matches/executive announcements, how many more qualifiers should we expect? Two matches tonight and two matches next week? Add Orton and Rollins as automatics and assume that the go-home won't have any? Or will they just do a big stupid rundown announcement segment, which would be really stupid in this context, when the Authority are this EEEEEEVUUUUUL and the title being vacant without Bryan? All five guys without the belts who were in the EC match this year had explicit qualifier matches, and if they've already done one, isn't that what we should expect for the rest?

How serious are the concussion and eye injury that Cena reportedly got on a house show over the weekend?

yeah seriously that would be the dumbest thing they could possibly do (having him immediately lose the title). Also, aside from the cash-in clearly having hit its apex in 2013 (Ziggler's, which the live crowd was out and out DEMANDING happen, and Orton's because of the angle it launched), even if it's doing it to Brock, that's a shitty way to have someone turn face.

They HAVE made the argument why Stephanie hasn't just stripped him because of the injury-- she wouldn't derive a hundredth of the satisfaction from taking it from him that she would get if he decided that he had to give it to her. Which isn't a bad way to do this holding pattern, but it's just been so fogged up beyond that basic premise.
  7. Make it '92 and I'm going '92-present. Yeah, I'm going to just selectively pick my own birth year as the start point.

She plays to the Warrior Queen-persona a lot when she is actually getting in offense. This means that she should never get in offense according to Team Vince logic, of course.

They're not going to lose their PG status if Luke Harper cripples himself superplexing Jimmy Uso onto the floor. They might if an uninjured Bray Wyatt blades after John Cena brains him with the ring steps from twenty feet away.

The only thing that the company hates more than credible women wrestlers is male wrestlers who can appeal to women.

    They just ruined Christmas.
  13. It's definitely ingrained into fans though, even through companies where short matches were the norm, like the WWF/E. When they go to commercial on Raw/SD now, it's like that they're endorsing the match as something meaningful.
  14. This match blows.
  15. Batista in the jobber baby blue!
  16. I love Rusev's fantastically terrible flagwaving.
  17. One that I checked myself: Juventud Guerrera-Jeff Hardy. It would have had a short window, but there was DEFINITELY an opportunity for this match during Hardy's first exodus. This is without a doubt the only time that I've ever been unhappy that XPW died. They would have made it happen. Would have either been fantastic or an unbelievable trainwreck, and completely entertaining either way.
  18. But if they're just going to go the Power Plant route, why even bother bringing in Generico, Callihan, Samuray, Devitt, etc.? Not to mention giving guys like Edwards, Richards, and Steen tryouts.
  19. Can't find anything on Cagematch with them facing off. The only time that they had a match together was (funnily, Pete had the country right) teaming against Davey Boy and Sting on the '93 Europe tour in Cologne.
  20. He worked the Europe tour, and has done the last two Middle Eastern tours (though obviously that's because of his heritage). I've been thinking that he is going to get the Paige treatment and show up for a crowd who would KNOW immediately for the huge pop, because doing the Bo/Rose debut promos would be unnecessary for a guy whose gimmick kind of amounts to "a guy with the personalty of a hockey player, but a lot more articulate and intelligent". So would it be the Raw in Montreal on 7/7? That gives him one last round of NXT tapings, AND a chance for Vince to embarrass someone in their hometown.

Was Rose going apeshit on Swagger a hint at a DID gimmick of him going back and forth between the Rose and (let's assume) Kruger personas? It felt odd to me from the beginning that he'd be a cornerstone on NXT as Kruger to immediately drop it for the Rose character when he got his call-up.

Trips intimated that the Rhodes Bros. match will end up as a shitty beatdown or something.

I'm calling it now, even though I only have about 20% confidence in it: Reigns is going to win the title and Rollins is going to win the briefcase,

Yeah, that'd be pitch perfect. The newly minted ex-billionaire blaming the dude who'd probably be a forklift operator if he wasn't the best wrestler in the world for HIS failures.

I saw a few different comment sections on various sites in which the posters were claiming that the underwhelming TV deal and subsequent stock drop was either deserved because of/directly tied to Brock beating 'Taker. I'm gonna go out on a real long limb here and say that wrestling fans who would say things like that with straight faces are why there was an underwhelming TV deal and subsequent stock drop.
