  1. They repeated the same mistake they made with the AEW partnership, failing to showcase their best talent and not delivering standout shows when they had the most eyes on them. Only this time, instead of working with someone like Omega, one of AEW’s biggest stars, they’re bending over backward for WWE developmental names like Trick and Jacy. Hardys vs. Dudleys again? In 2025? Sinner & Saint should’ve had that spot at Bound for Glory. This was the perfect chance to cement them as TNA’s top tag team, not relive a rivalry from two decades ago.
  2. I see this as yet another tactic by WWE to stockpile talent, especially given that the Performance Center has been a failure. What’s puzzling, though, is that none of these signings seem to come from the schools WWE is affiliated with.
  3. I just finished watching this morning, and I was thoroughly entertained. The show did a great job capturing how hot a product AJW was in the '80s, along with their sleazy promoters. While I understand that not all of the truth was told and much of the series was exaggerated for dramatic effect, I wish there had been more focus on Kaoru after she becomes Dump. Three episodes just weren't enough for me, and based on what others have mentioned in the thread above, there was more to explore about her life. If Netflix decides to attempt a similar series, Aja Kong would be an excellent subject.
  4. This was pure hate and heat, a nonstop action spectacle where the crowd hung on every move Nagayo made as the beloved babyface, desperate for her victory. Dump's performance was godly—an unstoppable menace who reveled in inflicting pain on Chigusa and anyone who stood in her way. The post-match angle was emotionally devastating, with Dump shaving Chigusa's head and taunting the tearful audience, humiliating their fallen hero. This unforgettable bout is a must-see for anyone exploring the history of Joshi.
  5. I believe the ratings will improve, as last week was just an anomaly. WB needs to announce the new TV deal soon so that ratings can be one less thing for TK to worry about.
  6. It was an explosive affair with Suzuki turning back the hands of time to his "Murder Grandpa" days from ten years ago, torturing Takeshita with relentless grappling, striking, and heavy limb work. Takeshita was perfect in the role of the underdog in peril, doing everything he could to slow down Suzuki's attack, making every moment feel hard-earned with his tremendous selling.
  7. This was classic pro wrestling at its finest, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mistico. His incredible entrance, with the crowd singing along to "Me Muero," showcased his star power and the respect he commands. As I mentioned earlier, everything was simple yet effective. Hiromu's performance relied on typical rudo tactics that drove the crowd wild. Of course, it didn't hurt that Mistico's undeniable charisma and excellent selling made the match thoroughly enjoyable.
  8. This match had everything needed for a great GHC title defense: it was bloody, physically intense, and featured a champion and challenger you could both root for and despise in Kiyomiya and the New Japan invader Kidd. My only criticism is that while I enjoy Kidd's work and performance in the match, he needs to tone down his over-the-top heel shtick as it almost takes you out of the match. Additionally, it's refreshing to see NOAH finally perceive Kaito Kiyomiya as a top guy, which made his fiery babyface comebacks even more impactful with the crowd.
  9. At this point, it can't hurt or help TNA plus they are the only promotion to capture what made Broken Matt interesting.
  10. If you can't have a good match with Gunther, you should evaluate yourself as a worker.
  11. Drew with the logic.
  12. Dragunov is going to give Midcard Uso his best singles match.
  13. This match was initially slated for Stardom 2020 but was derailed by unforeseen circumstances. Now, finally coming to fruition, it not only makes up for lost time but exceeds expectations. Both women engaged in an intense, physically demanding, and ferocious battle, maintaining an unrelenting pace from start to finish. Sareee showcased the dominance she's demonstrated all year, launching a relentless assault whenever she gained control. Meanwhile, Mayu matched her with exceptional selling and elevated the intensity even further. This encounter was truly extraordinary and merits recognition as a MOTYC.
  14. Having the same issues must be on TBS.
  15. Don't tell me Swerve is hurt.
  16. Chucky T in the parking lot, let's go!!!!
  17. Just give Sami the book and see where things go. With Santana coming back TNA is stacked on the men's side of their roster, they somehow need to get quality women.
  18. Last night's Raw was solid, and I applaud them for trying out new production techniques. Lee Fitting's impact is becoming evident; he's proving to be a fantastic hiring.
  19. What just happened? 45 minutes
  20. Of course Hunter starts the show lol
  21. Anzai came out swinging at the start of the Triple Crown Championship, aiming to secure any advantage and wrap things up swiftly. However, Nakajima swiftly halted his momentum, unleashing a relentless barrage of punches and some of the most brutal kicks I've ever witnessed. His cockiness became evident as he toyed with Anzai, underestimating him due to his youth. Yet, this arrogance ultimately led to Nakajima's downfall when Anzai pulled off a surprising victory. Anzai's portrayal was commendable, striking a perfect balance in selling that made it believable as he endured Nakajima's relentless aggression. Despite the unexpected conclusion, the ending has piqued my interest in the follow-up, particularly Yuma's impending first reign.
  22. Cody's big moment felt anticlimactic, overshadowed by numerous cameos, Samantha Irvin's lackluster announcing, and incessant efforts to elevate Levesque above all else.
  23. It's akin to the situation with nepo babies; there's no harm in acknowledging the substantial help you've received to reach your current position, as very few people achieve success entirely on their own.
  24. Just put the belt on Cody at WM so we can get the real money match with him and Rock.
