The Captial Combat 90 the Return of Robocop, did anyone realize that the tag line they used was stupid, because Robocop never appeared in the NWA before Capital Combat, so they acted as if this was Robocop's 2nd appearance in the NWA, hence why they called it that. I wonder if they were going to give the POP the tag titles, but since the Road Warriors turned face and lost the titles at the Clash, they kept the POP heels and had Demolition retain.

I'm guessing Big Bubba Rogers never started in Hershey on 1/26. Did Meltzer ever get full results from the WWF TV tapings or just certain aspects of it? I know the TV tapings he attended, he gave full results. I'm surprised the NWA didn't run a special on 2/5/88 against the Main Event. What matches would you have go against the 3 WWF matches?

Can someone post more Observer recaps from 1984-1987 & 1989.

What TV taping did this happen at? The only one I know is the 1/27/88 Challenge taping where they did a TV angle. Did they have another angle at a Summer TV taping?

Anyone know which scans have WWF results from the 80's & 90's?

Wrestlemania 17 was 4 hours 8 p.m. to midnight. They would always have it from 8 to midnight up until WM 19. WM 20 was 7 to 11. The next few Manias would have great themes, that everytime I hear them I think of the Wrestlemanias they were used for. The gimmick battle royal was fun and Kamala's appearance should of been his 3rd Mania appearance. It was hist first and last. He could have appeared at Wrestlemania 3 & Wrestlemania 9.

[1990-WWF] "So Close To The Real Thing, It's Like Being In The Ring!"
RCS1988 replied to Loss's topic in January 1990
I enjoyed the hasbro figures. Too bad they didn't have a steel cage accessory like the LJN set.- 25 replies

The Clash 11 theme was quite awesome. Can you play it on the Great American Bash 90 episode of your podcast?

I guess Blair was supposed to team with Jim Brunzell to face the Brain Busters at the Challenge taping.
-
Well, he still hosted All American Wrestling, so Dave lied about that. He should of just said he will be toned down to just PPV's, PPV Reports, Update, NBC, & AAW.

[1993-10-16-WCW-Saturday Night] Vader vs Ricky Steamboat (Human Cage)
RCS1988 replied to Loss's topic in October 1993
Well, I always thought the human cage was all the wrestlers standing on the apron, while the 2 wrestlers fought in the ring. Lumberjack is guys on the outside of the ring and Canadian Lumberjack is guys on the outside with leather straps.- 10 replies

Funny part is when the bell rings too early when the faces go for the cover.

Seeing Damien Demento in the video was funny. They should do a remake of this, but with the current WWE Superstars like Sheamus, John Cena, etc, and keep the same theme.

Did any of the 1986 observers mention Outback Jack wrestling in dark matches at the WWF tv tapings? Also, does anyone have any Pro Wrestling Illustrated Weekly newsletters? It was a weekly newsletter that started in 1989 and ended in 2000. The cool thing was that they gave complete results for WWF and sometimes NWA/WCW tv tapings.

Intese angle. Funny, that you hear Nailz' actual voice saying "Come On", then later, you hear him say it in the deep voice, I guess someone forgot to adjust the mic, to make him sound like a monster.

[1991-12-03-WWF-This Tuesday In Texas] The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan
RCS1988 replied to Loss's topic in December 1991
Andre the Giant won the title and never wore it around his waist for the 30 seconds he held it for. For months, people wondered what was in the urn, and that night they found out. As for dimming the lights for Taker, it first started on Raw 7/5/93 against Samu. Since the PPV had 5 matches, they should of just moved the PPV to Saturday and called it Saturday Night's Main Event on PPV.- 15 replies

[1991-11-27-WWF-Survivor Series] Hulk Hogan vs The Undertaker

Did you see a fan knock Taker's hat off at the entrance way, as he was coming down the aisle?- 13 replies

If this was the attitude era, then it would of been a 6 pack challenge.

Richard Morton was the Shawn Michaels & Gibson was the Marty Jannetty in this. They would reunite in Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Did they have something where Morton saves Gibson and they make up?

I'm really surprised that Andre never appeared on the Funeral Parlour, with Bearer trying to manage Andre, then we could of had the greatest tag team of all time. Andre the Giant & the Undertaker.

He also told the Warrior to not Rest in Peace but to Rest in Peaces. Great promo from Taker.
