If Reigns wins tonight, the hashtag will be #BoycottMania32.

    WrestleMania 32

The rumor of someone facing Taker at Mania who is not in WWE at the moment reminds me of the Hade Vanson fiasco in 2009.
  3. Anyone know the dates of the footage shown in this video? It's AWA footage. The only thing I could recognize is Little Mr. T vs. Little Tokyo from Superclash 85.
  4. It would be a complete shame if the PWO shows from over the years got lost, because of the sound cloud crisis. I don't count PTBN, since that's on podbean. The only shows I consider PWO-PTBN or PTBN-PWO are the shows that feature people from both brands on the same show. There is also the HOW feed, but they have been inactive on the PWO-PTBN-HOW Podcast Network.
  5. I would of had the New Breed vs. the Midnight Express in a Scaffold match, considering they were sort of feuding at the time and have Bubba Rogers fall off the Scaffold and Cornette doesn't catch him because he is a heavy, which leads to a Bubba Rogers face turn.
  6. Well it all depends on who gets the VJM award. As for Bad News Barrett, they will probably kick him out of LON and replace him with another international person. I can't take LON seriously, they need more people in the group similar to TNA's World Elite.

    WrestleMania 32

I wonder if this Mania will follow the routine of being poorly timed? I can think of these Mania's being poorly timed. 8, 9, 10, 29, & 31. If I'm missing any that were also mistimed and rushed, post away.
  8. It's not the match, it's the rules of the match that are stupid. Yeah, I am pretty sure War Games is one of the greatest gimmick match concepts of all-time, not the worst. The rules are essentially a way to make a constant southern tag style match, but with a cage. It's a thing of beauty. The match is fine. the rules aren't though. I think they should have went with the first blood approach. The match ends when you get all of your opponents to bleed.
  9. It's not the match, it's the rules of the match that are stupid.
  10. They would always switch the names every so often. Also, did Meltzer ever say that there was supposed to be a Clash in January 1998, but was cancelled. You would think if they were going to stop doing Clashes, they would do 1 final awesome Clash to go out on.
  11. The 1991 war games at Wrestle War 91, the heels had the advantage and also won the match, but yeah the heels always won the coin flip, but for the most part the faces won the match every time.
  12. A favorite show of mine that I watched was called Dark Shadows. When they released the stuff on DVD, they would have text saying certain episodes have glitches and cannot be eliminated without editing the episodes, the company that releases them chose to present the episodes as is complete with technical difficulties, therefore you see the entire episode unedited, but with glitches.
  13. They also have a lot of footage that didn't air on Classics on Demand, they should use. I also don't get why they skip certain episodes of certain TV shows. Also, that whole JIP because of glitches is bull. I would rather them show the stuff technical glitches and all, instead of airing stuff JIP.
  14. The war games match concept. The match is excellent don't get me wrong, but the rules are kind of stupid. You can't submit or surrender until all participants are in. So you can literally put someone in a painful submission hold and they could give up all they want, but the match can't end, because not all the participants are in. Surrender is more like a person throwing in the towel, even though the person who says it is not in a submission hold.
  15. I watched the match, and it looked like a standard wrestling match, except they are wearing judo outfits. What are the rules of a Judo match? Also, Ruska was able to get a win over him on Championship Wrestling 4/1/78.
  16. Dean Ambrose would be a possibility.
  17. If it would be a work, then it would be a heel turn if he attacks a face wrestler.
  18. This would be an interesting match for the Titans crew to watch. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9xlob_ruska-vs-sakaguchi-march-20-1978_s%20port
  19. I've been watching NWA World Championship Wrestling shows on the Network and enjoy the team of Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude as NWA Tag Team Champions with Paul Jones, so I decided to come up with a little booking if Fernandez decided to join his Awesome Twosome partner. Fernandez last appearance in the NWA was September 27, 1987. Fernandez gets the call from Rude, and he wants him to come. Jones says in the NWA. Fernandez debuts at a house show on October 2, 1987 distracting Outback Jack in a match against Rick Rude. That brings us to his first TV taping. WWF @ Milwaukee, WI - Mecca - October 6, 1987 WWF Superstars taping: Prime Time Wrestling - 10/22/87: Manny Fernandez pinned SD Jones at 4:02 with the flying forearm (Fernandez's WWF debut match) Prime Time Wrestling - 10/22/87: Paul Orndorff (w/ Oliver Humperdink) defeated Hercules (w/ Bobby Heenan) via disqualification at 6:23 when Rick Rude interfered and prevented the pinfall after Orndorff hit the piledriver; after the bout, Rude attacked Orndorff, threw him to the floor, and posed until Orndorff attacked him, which led to Manny Fernandez coming out and nailing Orndorff with the flying forearm with Rude, Fernandez, & Heenan later embracing (the reuniting of Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez after a 5 month absence) (Best of the WWF Vol. 14) Superstars - 10/24/87: Rick Rude (w/ Bobby Heenan, Manny Fernandez, & Andre the Giant) defeated Mike Richards via submission with the backbreaker at 1:41; prior to the bout, Heenan introduced Andre the Giant and the newest member of the Heenan Family Manny Fernandez, who stayed in Rude's corner for the duration of the match; during the bout, Paul Orndorff & Sir Oliver Humperdink appeared at the interview platform, with Orndorff posing in an attempt to distract Rude WWF @ Green Bay, WI - Veterans Memorial Arena - October 7, 1987 Wrestling Challenge taping: Wrestling Challenge - 10/18/87: Rick Rude, Manny Fernandez, & Hercules (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeated SD Jones, Scott Casey, & Jim Evans via submission at 3:17 (Fernandez's TV debut) Fernandez would work house shows getting wins over Outback Jack, Brady Boone, SD Jones, Lanny Poffo, etc. WWF @ Syracuse, NY - War Memorial - October 27, 1987 (6,000; sell out) WWF Superstars taping: Prime Time Wrestling - 11/19/87: Manny Fernandez (w/ Bobby Heenan) pinned Outback Jack at 3:32 with the flying forearm WWF @ Rochester, NY - War Memorial Arena - October 28, 1987 (7,600; sell out) Wrestling Challenge taping: Wrestling Challenge - 11/15/87: Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez defeated Brady Boone & Hillbilly Jim via submission at 1:20 During this time, Don Muraco takes out Butch Reed with an injury, so Heenan has Fernandez take Reed's place at Survivor Series. Fernandez continues working house shows against low card featured wrestlers, but not tag matches and would lose to guys like Sam Houston, Jake Roberts, & George Steele, but by countout and disqualifiation. WWF @ Seattle, WA - Coliseum - November 11, 1987 (16,000) WWF Tag Team Champion Tito Santana pinned Manny Fernandez at 12:42 with the flying forearm, after Fernandez missed his flying forearm (Fernandez's first loss) After this show he misses all his bookings and 2 TV tapings, but returns for Survivor Series 87. Survivor Series 87 - Richfield, OH - Coliseum - November 26, 1987 (21,000; sell out) Thanksgiving Night Andre the Giant (w/ Bobby Heenan), Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, Manny Fernandez (sub. for Butch Reed), & the One Man Gang (w/ Slick) defeated WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan, Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink), Paul Orndorff, Ken Patera, & Don Muraco (sub. for Superstar Billy Graham) in an elimination match at 24:07; prior to the bout, Hogan came out carrying the American flag; Hogan pinned Fernandez at 3:06 with the legdrop after a double clothesline from Hogan and Orndorff; the Gang pinned Patera at 8:45 after both men hit a clothesline, with OMG falling on top; Rude pinned Orndorff at 10:25 with a roll up and using the tights for leverage after Bundy attacked Orndorff from behind; Muraco pinned Rude with a powerslam at 11:20 after Rude jumped over Hogan; OMG pinned Muraco at 12:56 with a splash after a headbutt from Andre; Hogan was counted-out at 18:05 when Bundy and OMG prevented him from returning to the ring; Bigelow pinned Bundy at 20:32 with a slingshot splash into the ring after Bundy missed a splash in the corner; Bigelow pinned OMG at 22:52 after OMG missed a splash off the top; Andre pinned Bigelow with a butterfly suplex after Bigelow missed a splash in the corner; after the match, Hogan returned to the ring and blasted Andre in the head with the world title belt, sending him to the floor; moments later, Gene Okerlund conducted a backstage interview with Andre & Heenan in which they discussed a rematch against Hogan and bragged about the win (Andre's in-ring return after a 7-month absence & Fernandez's last appearance) (Survivor Series 06) Fernandez would receive a pay deduction, for missing dates, but was initially hired with the promise that he & Rude would win the WWF Tag Team Titles, so Fernandez quit the company, and Rude stayed. So his run only last a few weeks, but his appearances were memorable. Think you can do a better booking of Manny Fernandez in the WWF?
  20. You should try something like the Ultimate Crockett Cup, featuring 32 tag teams from each decade and from each and every organization imaginable.
  21. No the fans that started chanting for the people dressed up. If I dressed up like the Undertaker, I sure as hell would not want people chanting at me, just because I dress up like my favorite wrestler.
  22. I would have expected it to be a little bit higher. About $500.00.
  23. Do you side with WWE or the fans on this subject? Personally, I don't side with either side. WWE is out of touch and fans shouldn't act like idiots.
  24. I remember reading that Jannetty told him how to take it, then Austin said that it would look cooler if he took it as a flip move thus instead of landing face first on the mat he would do a flip, which wasn't the smartest thing to do. I think if he took it the way he was told, he might of had a career still, plus Jannetty was apologetic and Austin accepted, then Austin stopped talking to him and sued he was lawyered up. If he would have sued right away, then it would have been different, instead he waited 3 or 4 years to do it. My conclusion is both were at fault. Austin for taking the move wrong and Jannetty for turning him over. Plus $150.00 pay in 1990 to job is about how much in 2016 dollars?
  25. Best comment was during the Magee Gibbs match mentioning the Magee Arn Anderson match. You don't have to review it. Just mentioning that match during a Magee match was good enough for me. I'm satisfied. The only match that was not shown was Sika vs. Frankie Lane. Sika won.
