More of an injury angle than a real match but they draw some good heat here. A quick sprint with a lot of brawling results in a bloody Piper catching Snuka off the top and hooking his body over the ropes to seemingly break his neck. Superfly is stretchered out to keep this thing going.

Yeah not here to shit on anyone's opinions but I've enjoyed the hell out of the DIY feud. Would it have been the perfect if it ended with the first match? Sure. Did the rematches go a bit overboard? Sure, but that's what happens when you double down a blood feud. It's a far cry away from "this feud must continue" territory since everything (until RAW) had a solid story explanation. They have real chemistry together and really there's only been a handful of matches. It's actually refreshing coming from a company that hadn't run a really classic blood feud since what, Michaels-Jericho? I certainly can agree that it's taken up way too much space on NXT when there are 3 or 4 other guys out there who could be at the top of the card. However, if they stick the landing all will be forgiven.

Yes, the Rumble match is what I'm referencing, it was all just booked in reverse and in my head the cage should always be the blowoff. Bryan seems capable of any small miracle at the moment. But again, slim pickings here. Bray would never be my choice in a million years and if the crowd can organically get Kofi into the spot I'm all for it. -

It clearly should have been Bryan vs. Joe vs. Styles but Vince gotta Vince. After Chamber it really should be Kofi. That's the exact crowd reaction they need from a babyface and a very simple story to tell. -

Plus I'd rather they save Zayn and Owens for something good. Keep them fresh and have them come back and make an impact on the WM Raw. -

Guys, the cage match between Wyatt and Bryan was fine. I'll take that any day over Old Man Angle or Undertaker hobbling out there one more time. -

I think the way they should go with Becky is do an homage to 30 and make her go through Stephanie in order to make it to the Main Event with Charlotte and Ronda. Steph was tremendous last year at Mania and Triple H doing a role reversal and heeling it up as a second would be fun. As far as Bryan goes it's pretty much a wasted opportunity to pass up Kofi like this. Typical, though. Out of the crop we have to chose I guess Bray would probably make the most sense and result in the best work (judging on their feud a few years back) but I just don't see him getting over as a babyface overnight. -

Honestly, Lana is someone who has been given opportunity after opportunity and should just be grateful she even got to the dance in the first place. They canned her when they decided the act had run it's course and she was fortunate enough to convince them to let her train and wrestle. And she's terrible. They put the act back together but it's nowhere close to the same. We all love Rusev and see the potential there, but there is a locker room full of capable men and women working hard to keep their spot. This idea that every single one of them is gonna headline WrestleMania if only they got the chance is silly and now everything thinks they're Daniel Bryan in 2014. So maybe she needs to settle down and let her SO be the mid-carder he's destined to be if that's what they want to do with him? -

Is tonight the night Becky comes out on a zamboni? Or do they have to run the beer truck angle first? -
this year's HOF should just be an homage to the '97 Gang Wars and they induct nothing but factions

The gauntlet from SmackDown was good fun TV wrestling, this was some hard-hitting work with deep psychology and an effective layout. I knew it was gonna be good, but this wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Helluva match.

Hopefully they use this as a springboard to give them all more serious roles. The pancakes and neon tights have clearly run there course. There was no pop for their entrance but by the end Kofi has been coronated by the audience. Maybe they split after Mania and we get a Kofi-Big E feud over the strap?

Fantastic match. Crowd was dead all night before this too.

I'm no Kofi Stan but you cannot ignore this reaction.

Holy shit this could actually work

We need to find those two guys who were singing and dancing to Shane's music and get them to board here.

These are nice additions to the thread. Solid list overall.

Rey/Taker at Rumble is better than the Michaels rematch. Rey/Punk from Extreme Rules is solid. Best early Daniel Bryan is probably Bragging Rights against Ziggler. Don't think any of them are serious contenders really.

That's a helluva handicap, even for Monster Brody. JIP a few minutes in to the faces working Brody over. They send Al-Kassie and Brody to the outside and Brunzell gets the Indian Deathlock for the heels throw powder and get disqualified. Brody rips Wally Karbo's shirt in the postmatch and throws chairs around to create a frenzy. Karbo suspends both heels to a nice pop. Backstage, typical shouting Brody promo where he suggests two guys can't beat him so he wants a "Basketball Match" (5-on-1) or a "Hockey Match" (6-on-1) or even a "Football Match" (11-on-1). Segment's all over the map. I hate handicapped matches to begin with, but they should only ever exist to put a monster heel over two lesser talents. Having a competitive match like this, especially with a fuck finish, does nobody any favors. The angle was cool though.
