FEJ just bust Cody open like Cody told him the earth was round.
-
FEJ going backstage and choking Cody with a headset cable was a pretty cool visual.
-
Cody Rhodes vs. Flat Earth Jones is the opener. I wonder if "THE GAY COMMUNITY?!?!" will be watching.

I assume that's on Morrison. Dustin is an impeccable worker.
-
One of the two World Titles should have changed hands. This ended up being a pretty nothing show.

Is there any proof of Kevin Kelly being Q, though, other than being snowed in by a movie? I don't really follow him. His Melba Toast style of announcing doesn't exactly motivate me to want to read his Twatter account. I'm asking because I know a lot of people who saw that movie and had no idea it was some kind of Q propaganda job. Most people are not eternally online like PWO. (I haven't seen it. Part of me, as a film buff, is curious. The rest of me is like, ugh, life is too short.) Regardless, Ian could also be the best commentator ever, and I'd still fire his ass in a split second for being 1. completely fucking unprofessional 2. a blithering fucking imbecile for not realizing that Discord isn't private. Kevin Kelly may not be a great guy, but I have zero respect for Ian in this situation.

Kevin Kelly: I wouldn’t treat my worst enemy how AEW treated me https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/kevin-kelly-i-wouldnt-treat-my-worst-enemy-how-aew-treated-me/ I'm not any major fan of the guy, but I thought Ian Riccaboni handled everything unprofessionally by making it public. In any other company, he'd be the one fired. But everyone will defend Ian because he's "better" than Kelly at commentary.

Because Vince cares more about business than his "friendship" with Trump or anyone else - at least when it's convenient for him to care more about business. Remember when Kane was "the smartest guy in the locker room" because he read books? Now I just feel embarrassed for him. An empty-minded talking head completely pandering to his base.
-
Wonder how that's going to shake out with Trump just being found guilty of all 34 counts. Makes perfect sense, though, that two career criminals with zero moral compass like Trump and Vince would be friends.

Swerve is the World Champ but a supporting character and afterthought on his own show. That's what I meant. Top Dolla is doing well in TNA, from what I understand, and even has a title there. Obviously they're not at the same level now, but with time and seasoning, he has more potential upside IMO. We'll see how that shakes out. He may never improve, etc. Ethan Page is someone I think can do better than he has. As usual with AEW, his was not used anywhere near to whatever his maximum potential is. I'm not saying World Champion (well, maybe ROH or NXT), but someone who can be a valued player.
-
No way, Bubba! Far more interesting with way more upside than those two clowns. I'm not saying Ethan Page is the next WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion, but he's better than he was used in AEW - like most people there. (Even those who are used "well" in AEW aren't used well. "Swerve" Strickland, anyone? And I'm hardly a Swerve fan! I'll die on the hill that Top Dolla, with time and seasoning, has way more upside.)

This is how you know you're on a wrestling forum. Imagine this same story about two actors. It would dominate headlines for at least a year.

Should I be scared about you memorizing my posting history to such a degree that you were able to dig up something I wrote several months ago? Anyway, not at all surprising with this being a gun case in Florida. Be happy you live in Toronto and can go to a 7-Eleven at 3 a.m. without worrying that any nut with a firearm will show up with a wild hair up his ass - like Cash Wheeler. FTR is probably the best tag team in America, if not the world, but this is yet another reminder that even our favorite wrestlers or the ones with "good" reputations are largely problematic creeps. Also a good reminder that wrestling fans are largely among the most simpleminded and sycophantic, to the point that the majority of them would bend themselves into pretzels to excuse Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay if they murdered children in the middle of the street, all while foaming at the mouth and wishing the death penalty on Ryback and Brian Cage for jaywalking charges.

It's all presentation. If someone cast David Benoit as a boy wizard, everyone would think he looks like Harry Potter. (Not that I'm suggesting that would be a good gimmick, mind you - I'm just saying.) Same reason everything thinks Trevor Murdoch looks like Dick when, well, he really doesn't. But now I want a Chris Benoit biopic starring Daniel Radcliffe, damn it.

Jumpin' Jeff Farmer 2.0 Holy shit, this was BAD.

The Drizzling Shits Tanga Loa got a slight name change to Tonga Loa - because of Tama Tonga, I guess.

I remember this worthless stiff being a PWO favorite, and I never understood why. Being a "good worker" in a vacuum means absolutely nothing when you don't bring anything else to the table, never have, and never will Fuck him. Sex pest. Bully. Vanilla midget. Never drew a dime anywhere or generated interest with any fan. We should all be so lucky to have a job for 8 years after being so completely fucking useless.

Camacho SUCKS.

Not after having the worst match on both nights of WrestleMania. Overrated as a tag team, overwhelmed as a single. "Midcard" Jey Uso can't reunite with his brother (and presumably Jacob Fatu) soon enough.

The crowd is molten hot, the wrestlers are working hard, but...I just don't care. These are all b-show matches with foregone conclusions. I could see them throwing one curveball by having Asuka and Kairi retain via DQ chicanery, but that would be a mistake IMO. If you're gonna go with Jade, do it immediately and go all-in (no pun intended). A b-show with a b-team version of The Bloodline seems appropriate. Who the fuck is Tanga Loa, and why should I give a shit? I don't care about Tama Tonga either.

Has there ever been a worse stable? Even the most dire Mr. Fuji clients meant more.
