  1. Haha. This is fantastic.
  2. Donald Trump Jr.: "Dwayne Johnson couldn't beat Roman Reigns. Therefore, he cannot face and defeat America's enemies. He is unfit to lead!"
  3. Love you, bubba, but you might be the delusional one. This has never been Rock's M.O. Most unselfish top guy ever.
  4. If they can get more money from WWE, they should go. In every other respect, it would be a lateral move for them. They're career midcarders, period. No, they can't be more than that - other than maybe a cup of coffee at the top. They've both been exposed badly, and the shine is off. What Andrade did in Mexico doesn't mean he can do the same in U.S. Totally different market and style. Not everyone can cross over like Rey and Eddy. Fun wrestlers, sure, but that's a long line.
  5. My thoughts exactly. The promo didn't knock my socks off, but it was clear he was going the Cody babyface route, just with less sincerity (don't @ me about Cody's "fake crying" - I don't care). The important part of this promo was the seemingly "throwaway" line at the end about being there to make money and not friends. That is the real CM Punk. I think he knows exactly what he's doing and he's playing the long game with his character.
  6. Three hours is still brutal for this show.
  7. Him or me?
  8. QT Marshall is gone. Say what you want about his matches, persona, charisma, whatever, but he was one of the absolute backbones of AEW and one of the few grown-ups there. Big, big loss. Another adult has officially left the room.
  9. Not sure if this makes much if a difference in your mind, but Nick Wayne is 18.
  10. Superman hasn't been hip or relevant as a movie franchise in decades though. At least Black Adam could have been the beginning of something new and cool (I haven't seen the movie yet - I plan to soon). As for Roman, I really doubt Rock would insist on going over - he's the most unselfish major star in the history of wrestling and even put over The Hurricane.
  11. I smell a giant work with Punk and Seth. There has never been any logical reason for them to have heat. ("Stop tweeting, Seth" on a Fox show no one watched is flimsy.) A WrestleMania match, on the other hand (or at least Rumble), makes a ton of sense. With McIntyre, it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being that he was just selling his anger at his team's loss. Update: I still think it's a work to set up a match.
  12. Actually, Emily from Sportskeeda got the first question. (Yes, I realize this is completely trivial and useless.)
  13. CM PUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Is it a hot take to say I hate modern NXT/WWE War Games matches? The wrestlers kill themselves, but there's no real feeling of danger or stakes.
  15. AEW Rampage match was pulled due to talent refusing to lose Metalik vs. Komander was planned for the show. https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/aew-rampage-match-was-pulled-due-to-talent-refusing-to-lose If this is true, fire Metalik. He's a nobody who's never done anything or made an impact anywhere. He's in no position to refuse to do jobs. I understand not wanting to lose two in a row, but that's no excuse to be unprofessional and pull a "That doesn't work for me, brother!" over something so inconsequential.
  16. Downtown Bruno (Harvey Wippleman) says "Young Rock" will be back after the strike, just not on NBC. https://www.wrestlezone.com/news/1420360-downtown-bruno-harvey-wippleman-young-rock-will-be-back
  17. Punk isn't sniffing the NWA, lol - come on, guys!
  18. If that Women of Wrestling thing lasted on the CW (or so I assume), I think the NWA will too. But this is about the least exciting announcement and destination I could imagine. Better than YouTube and FITE though, I guess.
  19. Don't wish that on me! I'm on Twitter, but it gets worse every day - not that it was ever good. Not the vibe I got when I was the lone Christian defender on PWO. How quickly we all forget... But Pepperidge Farm remembers, and so does @C.S..
  20. So, is everyone finally waking up to the fact that Christian was always the better half of Edge & Christian?
  21. Could be as simple as Edge Copeland worrying that he'll get in legal hot water - or, worse, have the dreaded HEAT with his former employer - for skirting WWE intellectual property, even though Starks said it.
  22. Christian >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Edge Always has You'd never see cool as a cucumber Christian get upset at anything Ricky Starks, or anyone else, has to say.
  23. Pepperidge Farm remembers that he also completely shit the bed with one of the dullest and most underwhelming runs ever. Maybe there's blame to go all around for that - I don't know - but whatever the reasons are, he sucked in WWE.
  24. Fair or not, TK's tweets this week are making the strongest case possible that the problem there wasn't with Punk. WWE has to be taking notice of that.
