  1. Yikes... I usually don't ever think about what my star ratings would be, but I can safely say they wouldn't be nearly that high. It was a fun show - I enjoyed it - but come on!
  2. Even when Konnan is being completely sincere, it sounds like he's spouting BS. Is it just me?
  3. Super fun trios opener. Mr. Iguana's character and presentation seems tailor made for WWE. And WWE obviously sees something in Octagon Jr. since he was added to Money in the Bank against Dom for the IC Title in a surprise announcement. Didn't have that on my bingo card!
  4. May as well have one thread for both since they're on the same day. 5. Hopefully Sly and Taylor don't have a falling out before the final season. This does sound like a show I'd enjoy, but so many shows, so little time. 20 episodes (so far) does seem doable though.
  6. Wow, I had no idea. That's definitely a much bigger deal than whatever spot he would get in WWE or AEW even under the best of circumstances. Is he credited on Tulsa King as Cash Flo?

TK is the master of heel turns no one asked for or wants - Danielson, Hangman, etc. But I also hope not. In before someone says "but they wanted to turn heel." I don't give a flying fuck what they want. Yes, listening to talent and keeping them happy is important, but there's a fine line.
  8. I enjoyed her on the show, but was "trailer trash crackhead" ever a gimmick either WWE or AEW were going to give a second look to? I know there were WWE rumors at one point (I think? Maybe it was AEW?) but that obviously never went anywhere. I kind of wish Cash Flo had gotten a break, even though he's not exactly young.

Which is why AEW should take R-Truth. He's a better worker and talker than 90% of their roster.

Sarah Logan/Valhalla not being renewed either, but that's less surprising, since I think most of us assumed she was let go several release cycles ago.

I mean, Apollo Crews is crazy talented, Ricochet is crazy talented, etc. The kid's 120 pounds, so no matter how good he is, there's probably a ceiling there - even under Triple H. Exactly. Maybe he'll main event WrestleMania - I doubt it - but burning a bridge regardless, especially for no reason, just isn't smart. The reality is that Evans is probably not someone who is going to ever become enough of an attraction to overcome that no matter what.

I bet Je'Brone Evans is regretting that dumbass "crackhead" tweet. He's not exactly off to a great start and feels like an upcoming future-endeavor already. But you're right, if this isn't actually a call-up, it probably doesn't matter as much.

Someone found a clip from the first SNME with Jesse saying Boss Man should've walked through the cage door. Update: It's this awful troll account, but you can see the clip. https://x.com/MeltzerSaidWhat/status/1926461201984135290

On the one hand, it feels like a sloppy WCW move. On the other hand, who gives a fuck about Alberto Del Rapist? His loss is a foregone conclusion anyway. I just hope he doesn't no-show the match. Not like he'd have anything to lose. Other rape apologist carny promoters will book him in a second, and there are tons of those in wrestling.
  19. Fun match between Oba Femi and Myles Borne. The TNA World Title surprisingly main events the show.

Thank God! Bloodline 3.0 is the drizzling shits. And having Bronson Reed there would only make JC Mateo look even more mid than he already does. Speaking of big guys, Big Bronson is a fluffy gentleman, but he carries it well and comes across as a total badass.

I'm the last person who has an issue with anyone in wrestling being chubby - I love Keith Lee, Kamala, WALTER (and his slimmer alter ego GUNTHER), Mick Foley (obviously), etc. - but I ate a lot of shit on PWO for saying Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) looked like a slob in basketball shorts, even though he absolutely did. With that said, nothing about JC Mateo's presentation stands out. He looks like a jobber on WCW Worldwide next to Jacob Fatu. And I'm not even talking about his weight. It's everything. He just doesn't come across as impressive in comparison to Fatu or even Solo.

I'll believe that when WWE actually announces it. I'm not too inclined to take badly-written, half-AI generated, word salad slop from NOLA.com all that seriously. I'm calling London for WrestleMania 42.

Okay, I'll tell you... I haven't. NJPW World is an atrocious service that had no Roku support for the first several years, no English support outside of a browser plugin, and a confusing subscription system where you could get it on the 30th and then get charged again for another month on the 1st (or something like that). They've since added Roku - not sure if they ever fixed the other issues - but I had moved on by then. Like shit. Reeked of '95 The Goon or some random WCW or ECW guy coming in and being used as a geek. Congrats. Was it a carry-job on your part, or did he pull his weight? Seriously, I'm sure Cobb is great, but I have my doubts that "JC Mateo" will be. A name like that tells me WWE sees nothing in him and has already given up. Then again, he could have the greatest name in the world and still be DOA, because he was positioned right off the bat as Solo's bitch, when Solo has been positioned as everyone else's bitch. Seems like too little too late and the ship has sailed. If he's getting a massive payday (which is doubtful with TKO), God bless him.
