Did this actually happen? I see nothing in the thread about it. Nothing would get me to boycott Forbidden Door quicker than this toxic asshole getting a spot on it. Can't imagine why there'd be interest from either side. Maybe a few years ago, Braun/Scherr might have been a "get" for NJPW, but certainly not now.

What?! Hyperbole much? If he was over like The Rock, he would've been called up months ago and used as a wrestler. He has never, at any point in his entire career, been as over as The Rock. No, in his entire life. He's not as over as The Rock in his own family! That doesn't mean his current usage isn't baffling - it is - but at the same time, he's an aging wrestler who is average in the ring but above average on the mic, so I can kind of understand the mindset of using him as a mouthpiece.

Surprised there's not more backlash to this here. Scorpio got a throwaway token reign, and we're back to Sammy again after two underwhelming reigns when he could've easily turned heel without regaining the title. In fact, not regaining it would've been a fine impetus for a heel turn.

Yep, don't care if Marina Shafir is the 2nd or 3rd most dangerous woman in the world IRL - that's not how she has been presented thus far - and while AEW can certainly change that, rushing her into a title match isn't suddenly going to undo her current perception or make her seem more important than she actually is. She's just a body to feed to Cargill anyway, which is 100% the right choice, so it doesn't matter in the short term.

FTR could have an excellent match with Great Khali and Omos. ReDragon is technically capable for sure - they're good carpenters - they just don't excite me on any level.
