  1. You spoke too soon, Bubba.
  2. Is it just me or has this show been flat tonight? (My friend said "just you" so let's see what the Bubbas here have to say.)
  3. Well, he didn't admit to it - he just said he would do it if the situation were to arise - but yeah, total shit.
  4. Me too. Not how I was expecting the strife between the Dark Order to resolve itself, but it's perfect.
  5. Yeah, that part was fine. What lost me was the nonsensical bullshit about the car and gun. WTF was that? Cody should've slapped the taste out of Arn's mouth.
  6. Well... Cody's face is one of his most flattering features. The man is...Dashing.
  7. Arn is one of the all-time great promos, but that bullshit about blowing a car thief's brains out with a gun did not land for me at all. I know some of you are blinded with irrational hatred for Cody, but that was bad.
  8. WTF is Arn talking about?
  9. Felt like WWE Lite to me with the "Kenny No Balls" shtick - something that would be crucified it were on Raw - but that's just me. I like Bryan and Kenny though, but I could do without useless geeks like Gallows, Anderson, Cutler, and Nakazawa. I know they're going for an nWo b-team vibe with those dorks, but it still sucks.
  10. Anderson and Gallows are the drizzling shits.
  11. Unless he somehow got WWE to consider WrestleMania his final appearance. I'm not a Bray fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing Windham Rotunda show up tonight for this supposed Brodie tribute, which the show has given no evidence of airing thus far. Edit: Not saying I doubt it's happening - I know it was announced - I'm just surprised it hasn't been mentioned on the show yet.
  12. Sure, but I'm talking about things that have historically had some element of cool-factor - wrestling has, at times - esports and chess have not.
  13. Yep. He came across like an uncaring, unfeeling OCD cyborg. It was very odd. You know I love your posts, Bubba, but you're acting like you're stating absolute facts when we both know you haven't seen one minute of this show yet - no one has, since it premieres tomorrow night.
  14. Maybe five years ago - I'll give you that. Now? Absolutely not. (By design, to be fair.)
  15. I have nothing against most of the wrestlers in AEW - I enjoy them, by and large - but your argument is flawed for one simple reason: Dorks generally don't like watching other dorks (okay, Big Bang Theory is an exception). There's a reason Fonzie - to use your example - is so popular. There's a reason Jungle Boy's dad was so popular as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills 90210. It has nothing to do with pretending that the "beautiful people" watch pro wrestling or care about it. Wrestlers acting like dorks to appease the dorks in the audience has never really worked. Cool is what sells.
  16. Because WWE invented reality television, right? I always found this reasoning bizarre and complete bubble-think.
  17. And STIIIIIIIILL...
  18. I completely blocked that out of my mind. So yeah, now that you've pointed that out, I think that's definitely where they're going with this.
  19. Anyone else smell a putrid partnership between Jax and Eva as wrestler and manager when they both come back? Just what the world asked for...
  20. Whatever Eva had five years ago is long gone now.
  21. Dreadful obviously scripted promo by Goldberg.
  22. Just what we need: 1. A quick Charlotte victory with a stupid fuck finish over someone with massive potential in Piper Niven (Doudrop) 2. The return of Oldberg
  23. Ali represents all of us thinking this is lame.
  24. Nah, I want Bearcat to win the Royal Rumble and face Big E at WrestleMania. BIG MEATY MEN SLAPPING MEAT!
