  1. Synopsis of the Kevin Steen Show with Nigel McGuinness: Nigel: "My life is the worst." Steen: "No it isn't." Nigel: "Yes it is." Steen: "No it isn't." That's basically the first hour.
  2. Correct. Basically, this is the Post-Smark movement. This is similar to the phenomenon of saying such and such a thing was "teased" or "hinted at", when something clearly was not. Usually this is in regards to a heel turn (by a person that a smark wants to cheer for, but cheering for heels is the only thing allowed).
  3. Thanks for the kind words. I know Georgia is in the pipeline at some point. I'd love to talk about Sullivan, Memphis has to happen. I want to hear Parv talking Memphis.
  4. I won't go as far as to say it was exceptional, but I definitely enjoyed the match. I was actively cheering for Cena in the homestretch and liked the finish.
  5. Liked the Bryan match far more than I thought I would.
  6. Can we get a singles push somewhere in there, though?
  7. I'd really hope not since we just had one for a couple months.
  8. That's kind of my thought, as well. There has to be some reason/plan for the 1-on-3's, right? Hopefully a non-stupid one.
  9. I'm not sure exactly why I feel this way, but I think this might be good. Or, at least one of those shows that clears the bar of the low expectations placed on it. Depends how my fantasy football day goes (i.e. whether I'm guaranteed a good payday in my most important league), but I'm leaning strongly toward buying it.
  10. "You're never gonna get a cum shot with that hold, Jess." (Also, I had eight fantasy baseball teams this season. All named after tag teams.)
  11. "'86, Rhodes."

  13. I liked "apogee."
  14. Ahh!!! The Backlund/Benoit joke!!!
  15. Sometimes it's really good, sometimes it's not. It's really nitpick-y most of the time. I listen to it, though, when the mood strikes me.
  16. I've been kind of underwhelmed by NJPW for the past few months now, basically since Naito won the G-1. This card doesn't change that much.
  17. The actual TV rights fees are a huge part of how they make money from TV. The ratings aren't necessarily tied into that as much as what the market for TV rights is at the time they negotiate a new deal (obviously, in a vacuum a higher rated show is worth more than a lower rated one). Plus, this whole idea of whether or not they are worth paying a "live sports" premium for, which is what is kind of driving their stock price going up.
  18. People cancel HBO, but isn't it seasonal around the end of different shows? It could be, but it's hard to tell based on the data that's publicly available. The most detailed numbers I've been able to find are quarterly figures, and those don't seem to change much. This is what I found when I looked up the last four quarters (note that all of the numbers are for the end of the quarter): 2012 Q4: 28.7 million 2013 Q1: 28.77 million 2013 Q2: ? 2013 Q3: 28.9 million I drop HBO when the NFL season starts because I buy the Sunday Ticket and really have no use for HBO once the football season starts. And the monthly price is pretty close to what the Ticket runs (I have DirecTV, obviously).

    Current WWE

Yeah, it's kind of a part of the Alvarez-ization (or at least that is who I credit it to) of the "smart" fans. Practically anytime someone loses a match, they have been BURIED~!.
  20. Any "not for nuthin'"'s in there?

  23. Will have to give this one a shot sometime.
  24. Yes, though as much as you can in 150 minutes.
  25. Bruno's Timeline was awesome.
