  1. THE IICONICS WIN THE BIG ONE!!!!!!
  2. It was total nonsense but I had fun. Some of those Shane bumps were terrifying to watch.
  3. Camera cutting right when Shawn and Bret are about to shake hands is incredible.
  4. That superplex was awesome, damn.
  5. Heyman selling the low blow along with Lesnar ruled.
  6. It's extremely important that we get Sam Roberts' opinion on what just happened!!!!!!!!!
  7. He does the WWE Watch Alongs they have during PPVS but otherwise I don't know too much about him.
  8. All of the crowd favorites got eliminated early and they kinda took the crowd out of the match with that until the ending sequence.
  9. lmao they actually got me with Carmella, I completely forgot she was in this.
  10. I need the fuck out of Sal's WrestleMania jacket he was wearing in that interview.
  11. I shut my brain off for the entire Hall of Fame and had a good time.
  12. Agreed 100%. Just finished watching the entire thing and enjoyed the fuck out of all of it. Bret's speech was fantastic (barring that dumbass who I was glad to hear got knocked the fuck out by Dash Wilder) and I was cracking up over the story with Neidhart and Bundy. Harlem Heat made for a great speech, and Honky's bit at the end was my kind of absurd. My favorite was Sue Aitchinson's because she deserved it so much and she had a really nice speech. Best one in years.
  13. Yes that was fantastic!! Seeing the rest of Undisputed Era run in and hearing the crowd with the thunderous boos. Johnny won everyone over in the end. I was a little worried for a bit at first that the crowd was going to ruin his big win and I'm glad it didn't happen.
  14. The most feel good moment in WWE in ages. I think everyone needed all of this and it was nice to see them give it for once.
  15. Cutting to the fucking random crowd shot right when Cimapa went in for the hug actually made me go "for fuck's sake" out loud.
  16. I don't even care about the match quality, that ending was the most feel good moment in this company in ages. We have long needed an actual feel good moment.
  17. Holy moly that crowd is deafening in its cheering for Cole.
  18. Walter/Dunne was fucking awesome and I want more.
  19. He was, which is why it's well deserved IMO. He also had a major hand in the USA Network, which is another reason why a lot of those Northeast house shows got simulcasted or aired via tape delay on there too. I'm honestly kinda shocked he doesn't have a Wikipedia article because so many late 70s/early 80s sports television/programming moves have his fingerprints all over them, and he's the person who created the first ever national cable sports broadcasting contracts for the NBA, NHL, etc. You'll hear very little bad words about him, he's a well regarded people person. To bring it back to wrestling, later on he moved over to Los Angeles' Z-Channel to help with their re-haul and wanted to make a pay station for Los Angeles-area sports. One of his first moves was to get televised house shows to air on there too. It didn't last long but he did get Jesse Ventura to do guest commentary spots on random matches throughout the shows. He absolutely warrants inclusion and I'm glad he made it in but also kinda surprised about it. I don't normally get to watch the Hall of Fame in full and might miss it this year too but I will absolutely set aside time to watch if they do a video on him (and SD Jones... and Buddy Rose... and... ). Do they do anything for the Legacy inductees?
  20. Out of curiosity, when did she say this?
  21. Was it over the indictment of Kendall and Blackjack Mulligan? His 1989 run is such a blur to me.
  22. Hogan and Bundy for WrestleMania 2 was... certainly something. The week before the Saturday Night's Main Event on the syndicated TV they allude to a mysterious attack that left Hulk on a stretcher, and then on the weekend TV of that SNME, they have Bundy walking around in interviews and on Piper's Pit bragging about the attack that Vince basically tells us we'll see later that night. Just weird to see Vince basically admit that the show was taped well in advance. Even Hogan films local area interviews talking about the attack but acting like he just has some minor pain that he can handle. There's a great/hilarious interview where Hogan talks about seeing police in the arena crying as they were loading him onto the stretcher. Then on the weekend TV shows up to WrestleMania, the match is barely mentioned or advertised at all. They spend most of the weekend TV hyping the NFL Battle Royal, which I agree was the better match to promote, but there's at least 1-2 episodes of Championship Wrestling where Hulk isn't even mentioned at all. The Mr. T-Piper boxing match gets more coverage than Hogan-Bundy. And like, I get it, because mainstream attention was entirely on the NFL player involvement, but then the weekend before the show they have Hogan wrestling Moondog Spot with his ribs taped. He then proceeds to remove the tape and no-sell most all of Spot's shots to the ribs to indicate that there's absolutely nothing wrong with his ribs, all leading to squashing Spot in like a minute. Even Bruno and Vince on commentary almost marvel that Hulk is very much OK. They literally build Bundy's attack as having done nothing and him having no chance against Hulk in the cage. Even right before the cage match Vince and Susan St. James are discussing the match and every single time Vince tries to build up Bundy as possibly winning Susan shuts it down immediately every single time. "Not a chance!! No way it's gonna happen!!".
  23. And to Bryan's credit he's owned up about being very wrong about his Kofi talking point since that night everytime it's been brought up.
  24. Yeah, that's the closest version of that show out there. The Slaughter/Sheik match rules on this show btw and is well worth a watch if you have the time to check it out. Snuka-Valentine and what I believe is Bobo Brazil's last appearance in Madison Square Garden in a tag match with Rocky Johnson and S.D. Jones are what's still not accounted for from this show. Unrelated but glad to see his channel is back. The 3/25/84 show has even less circulating if you can believe it!!
