Cool. Anything above it from Wcw in 1990 or 91? Just to round out the decade so far.... -

So Vader-Sting at SuperBrawl is WCW's best until Guerrero-Mysterio at Havoc 97? Damn you Chadley - you're absolutely right. That said, plenty of good and great stuf in the meantime, just not top notch MOTY calibre work. Where would the strap match slot in to your best of 92 list? -
I really can't see the Sasha-Charlotte match being enhanced by HiaC stips. Feels like they need a Bull Nakano or even Awesome Kong to get any value from it.

It's getting plenty of buzz though - unfortunately I can foresee it continuing in this manner. -

I sincerely hope he is working It could be that I caught up on a bunch of his shows very quickly, but he's grown rather tiresome to my ears. Perhaps a few less controversial topics would help. -

Yeah, that was unnecessary. And I noticed Brian's started up a bit of a gripe with Jim Ross over nothing substantial. My point remains that Prichard seems really entrenched in his views, facts-to-the-contrary be damned. -

Listening to Prichard on Cornette's show (Part 2). Last is destroying him. -
I listened to the show and thought it sounded made up. Conrad's partly to blame for egging him on. If he was 1/10th as tough an interviewer on Flair as he is with Prichard it would make things a lot more interesting.

Yeah, I listened to the Chi-town commentary podcast and found it very disappointing. Very few references to the match unfolding. -
Just a note when I see this thread again - Flair and Conrad provide commentary on the Chi-town match on last week's podcast.

I meant to say I don't think any other titles post Fall Brawl 93 were released until 1998.
-
Oh yeah, all PPVs from Starrcade 89 to Fall Brawl 93 (with the exception of Slamboree 93) were released, with varying degrees of editing.

Took a quick look through some Superstars of Wrestling and they reviewed GAB 90, Havoc 90 and SuperBrawl 1 and 2 in August 1992. WrestleWar 90 and 91 were reviewed in January 1993 (That sounds about right - I remember thinking it was odd that WrestleWar 90 was released way out of sequence). Then SuperBrawl 3 was covered in September 1993, and mentioned that 1992's WrestleWar, Beach Blast and Starrcade were also available. Then Beach Blast 93 and Fall Brawl 93 were reviewed in April 1994. I don't think any other titles were given official releases until 1998.

What about the WCW videos? I remember getting them all ASAP as they came out.The videos were a big part too. The first tape I bought was Great American Bash 90 and the first match on it was Midnight Express vs The Southern Boys. I loved it and still call that one of my favourite matches 25 years after I saw it. That match played a big part in me appreciating The Midnights and in turn being excited to see the Heavenly Bodies as their direct descendants. Any idea when they came out? I'm sure it was sometime in 91 but can't quite remember.

Yeah, Superstars of Wrestling certainly gave Smoky Mountain plenty of positive play in 1993, and I thought the Steiners-Bodies match was the 2nd best thing at Summerslam (behind Bret-Doink/Lawler).

How bad is Alvarez really? I get the impression he's a big enough fan of modern US but there seems to be gaping holes in his pre-1996 knowledge.
