  1. https://next-episode.net/tv-shows-images/big/wwf-prime-time-wrestling.jpg WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 12/8 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Denver, CO - McNichols Arena Randy Savage cuts a promo putting over the Hart Family as true contenders but he says he will take them one a time… DIG IT! He says next up is Greg Valentine and the date is December the 29th from MSG and the title will be on the line! Davey Boy & The Hart Foundation vs Valentine, Dino, & Hercules w/ Jimmy Hart Good contest with the Hart Foundation and Davey Boy really showing off their skills as a team. We see Valentine get the pinfall on Davey Boy when he runs and nails him with the shin guard on his skull! It is a 3-count victory but when Honky comes to lay in some shots Savage comes to even the odds and they back off. Curt Hennig cuts a prom on Muta and says that he wants to take him on for the title one more time. He says he will put anything on the line to make it happen and is waiting to hear from Fuji! Horsemen cut a promo on the company and how the gold is just the beginning but the world is for the taking... Andre and Rougeaus interrupt to call out for next week… the Horsemen are forced to accept when Andre grabs Heenan by the lapell! SD Jones vs One Man Gang w/ Slick & Boss Man Gang looks awesome here and just destroys SD Jones. Butch Reed comes out cut a promo on the Gang, Bossman, and Slick! He says that he is out here to face their challenge without question and he will bring any fight they want anywhere… anytime! Tito Santana vs Terry Funk A great contest and these two go for about 14-minutes with the fan solidly behind Tito. We see both men hammering away at one another but the finish is pretty awesome when Tito hits the flying forearm and Funk goes out of the ring to the floor! Here comes Manson and Bunkhouse… the referee holds them back and Funk grabs the branding iron and NAILS Tito! He picks him up and PILEDRIVER outside the ring on the floor! Funk rolls him back in the ring and gets the three count. Tito is laid out and bloody… this is pure chaos! Jesse says next week he has an announcement that will shock the world of wrestling to its very core!
  2. https://next-episode.net/tv-shows-images/big/wwf-prime-time-wrestling.jpg WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 12/1 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Phoenix, AZ – Veterans Memorial Auditorium PT opens with a lot of footage from SNME this past weekend. We see the Horsemen regain the Tag Titles… Randy Savage retain the IC title… Windham pin his father… and the Hulkster beating Kamala before almost being branded by Terry Funk! We cut to Gorilla and Jesse and tonight is all about the TV Title match. We get a lot of hype for Hennig and Muta and tonight will be a big one. First off we’ve got six-man tag team action as we head to the ring! Sting & The Rockers vs Honky Tonk, Valentine, & Bravo w/ Jimmy Hart -This is a pretty even contest with the babyfaces being red hot right now while the heels are getting some good heat. Jimmy Hart gets involved which leads to some issues outside the ring with Sting getting involved with him before Hercules shows up and the numbers game takes control. This leads to a double team on Marty while Shawn comes out of nowhere and tackles both Honky and Bravo over the top to the floor! Marty stumbles and here comes the Hammer with the running shin to the skull and the 3-count! Harts men with the victory and they head to the booth… Jimmy Hart and company run down Randy Savage and Greg Valentine formally challenges him to an Intercontinental Championship match. He says that Savage knows Valentine is a true champion and someone who doesn’t run from challengers! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back with the Horsemen and the gold belts in toe… all except Barry of course and Gorilla points that out. Windham says he cannot contractually challenge for the IC title until January 1st but will keep his eye on the tv title match tonight. Arn and Tully say that they just did a portion of damage to the Rougeaus… and more will come. Ric Flair says that Andre the Giant may be big in size but he can’t handle the Nature Boy and he’s looking forward to December the 29th at Madison Sq Garden when he defeats him and retains the title! Mike Rotundo vs The One Man Gang w/ Slick & The Bossman -Rotundo is outmanned and out-sized here against the Gang. Rotundo gets in some really good offense and he’s able to control a good portion of the pace of the contest but the size of the Gang is too much and then you’ve got the Bossman outside the ring who NAILS Rotundo with the night stick in the kidneys before Gang comes down with the big splash for the 3-count. They attempt to do more damage before Butch Reed comes out and chases them off! Reed joins Gorilla and Jesse and says that he heard Hacksaw Duggan was attacked by the Bossman and he doesn’t know when or if he’ll be back. He says that those two ugly fools always try to use the numbers game but he knows that a true fight is a true fight and he will face any and all comers when the time is right! *COMMERCIAL* We return to PT with Funk and his cronies Manson and Buck. They are just completely insane… Funk has the branding Iron on fire near the booth… Manson is eating raw meat under the hood and Buck just looks goofy. From all of it we hear that next week Terry Funk takes on Tito Santana and that he’s going to brand him in a spot that everyone will see and no one will forget! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back with our main event and the title is on the line. We have 15-minutes of tv time remaining and here we go with the vacant title on the line! TV CHAMPIONSHIP Curt Hennig vs The Great Muta w/ Mr. Fuji -These guys have 15-minutes and they use every bit of it. Curt Hennig has become the pro everyone was hoping for… he has got such a fluid style in the ring and to top it off he places a babyface in peril so well. Muta has such a mystery about himself that it causes fans to wonder just what will happen next. In the end we see both men with offense and then countering the others big moves. The first happens when Muta goes for the moonsault but Hennig gets the knees up. The next is when Muta tries to hit the myst and Hennig rolls through and then comes back with a huge dropkick. The final happens when Hennig is going for the Northern Lights Suplex but Muta comes up with a knife edge thrust to the throat and then we see some myst and a roll up for the 3-count! Muta is the NEXT TV Champion and he grabs the belt. Inside the ring Hennig is holding his throat and he’s got the myst all over his face. The referee never saw what happened only that something did. Muta is the TV Champ… what happens now?
  3. WWF Live 11/29 Presents: SATURDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT XII Houston, TX – Sam Houston Coliseum Randy Savage: OHHHH YEAAAAAHHHH Saturday Night’s Main Event with the IC title on the line and OHHH YEAAAHHHH I have got a prime time opponent and he is going to find me in the middle of that ring. Dino Bravo… you better look up to the lights tonight because the most Savage elbow in the world is going to come crashing through your heart.. DIG IT! Jimmy Hart w/ Dino Bravo: Randy Savage… I think you have been in the sun too long man. This is Houston partner… and this is going to be a shootout and I have got all the big guns with here with Dino Bravo baby! Ric Flair: WOOO! Houston Texas…. Horsemen country… tonight Barry Windham and myself WALK THAT AISLE against two of the biggest men in the sport… but size between the ears is where it counts and Mulligan… Andre… you just don’t have what it takes! Barry Windham: A lot of people have been talking about this being a family feud… well for it to be a family feud you have got to have some sense of care… Blackjack Mulligan… I don’t have the smallest shred of care for you and tonight I am going to remove you from my life! Jack Mulligan w/ Andre: Andre… it hearts me to see my son act the way he is… but I know with your help… tonight we’re going to take him and Flair to the woodshed and show those Horsemen what a good fight is all about! Mr. Fuji w/ Kamala: Tonight the bounty is on you Hulk Hogan and tonight I am going to cash in with my Kamala… he is a savage… he is a warrior… and he is hungry and tonight he will feast on you! Hulk Hogan: Well you know something dude… tonight I am out here for all of my Hulkamaniacs all over the world. Here in the United States we celebrated Thanksgiving and tonight I am thankful for all of my Hulkamanics who have supported me in my quest to become the WWF Champion again! Tonight… I face a tough challenger who is nothing but a mercenary… but tonight the check isn’t going to cash Kamala and I am going to show you why money is no object to the strongest force in the world… HULKAMANIA! Vince: Welcome everyone to Saturday Night’s Main Event! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Ventura! We are here in the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, Texas and Jesse… this is going to be a Texas sized edition of SNME! Jesse: That’s right McMahon and tonight all the rules change! Tonight, the WWF gets back to the way it belongs! Vince: What are you talking about Jesse? Jesse: Tonight the Horsemen get rid of Andre and Blackjack… they get BACK the WWF Tag Team Championship… and they get rid of Hulk Hogan! Vince: That is certainly a lot to contend with if you’re the opponents of the Horsemen tonight. We have got so many great matches but we can’t forget that the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line! Jesse: Randy Savage has shown that he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion in the history of the WWF. Tonight he faces the strength of Dino Bravo… but I can’t pick against the champion. Vince: I have to agree with you there Jesse… plus the tag team titles will be on the line… right now let’s go to Mean Gene Okerlund with Randy Savage! Mean Gene sets up his interview with Savage who is hyped up right now. He talks about Hart’s guys and says that his men will be in the back in case they get involved but he is hoping for a fair fight… DIG IT! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth vs Dino Bravo w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty solid opener and Savage gets the best out of Bravo. Early on we see Hercules, Valentine, and Honky attempt to walk out but here comes Brutus and the Hart Foundation as they halt them in the aisleway! We return from commercial with Bravo working over Savage but it all leads to the comeback of the Macho Man and the crowd just goes wild for it. He comes back with big rights and lefts and before we know it Savage is flying around and he jumps up to the top rope and comes off with a huge double axe-handle smash! Savage goes up again as Bravo stumbles up and Savage with another double axe-handle smash! He goes up again and he’s looking for the elbow before Jimmy Hart comes up the apron but Savage nails him with a big right hand. Dino is now up and he goes over to the turnbuckle and he grabs Savage but Savage jumps over his back and then a backslide for the 1...2...3!! Savage gets out of here with a flash pinfall! He grabs the belt and looks at Jimmy Hart… this is just the start of this one! *COMMERCIAL* We get a fun little promo with Flair and Windham who put over the bright lights of NBC but also how SNME is Horsemen showcase time and tonight they have got two big turkey’s who are going to be stuffed and served then they will get the titles back… then… Hulk Hogan will be finished forever! Andre the Giant & Blackjack Mulligan vs Ric Flair & Barry Windham w/ Bobby Heenan -An interesting contest as this is just really a big showcase for all four me. The big moment is to see Mulligan and Windham go toe to toe and the crowd has really bought into this feud while Andre and Flair continue to out-due everyone. There isn’t much workrate and before long we see Arn and Tully at ringside. This leads to a scmoz with Andre battle them outside the ring… Ric Flair low blowing Mulligan leading to Windham coming out of nowhere with a bulldog and the 3-count. Windham does look befuddled as to how Mulligan got in that position and questions Flair but they are on too big of a high right now! *COMMERCIAL* We get a great Hogan promo with Mean Gene as the Hulkster runs down Kamala, Terry Funk, and the Horsemen for all the bounties and how he proclaims that he will rid the WWF of Kamala and Terry Funk and any other bounty hunters before the end of the year and then in 1987 he will have his eye on the prize for Ric Flair. Tonight he handles the savage and he’s going to show Kamala why Hulkamania is a true man-eater! Hulk Hogan vs Kamala w/ Mr. Fuji -No big shock here with this story and how these two work together. Kamala beats down Hogan and makes him look like he’s going to die before Hogan fights back to the delight of the crowd. The big angle here is when Terry Funk shows up with Manson and Buck. There are officials and agents out to try and break this up but Funk continues to try and break through. This is enough of a distraction for Kamala to capitalize on Hogan. We see some big splashes but Hogan kicks out and Hulks up before slamming the mighty Kamala! He is going for the legdrop and then the 3-count! Once the referee hits three we see Funk, Manson, and Buck attack Hogan and start to work him over. Manson and Buck hold Hogan and Funk lights the branding iron on fire before threatening to come after Hogan but here comes Sting, Tito, and Hillbilly to clear the ring. Funk is smiling all the back with the branding iron on fire still. The crowd is in shock as Hogan regains his strength and then comes after Funk! *COMMERCIAL* We return to SNME with the Rougeau Brothers talking with Mean Gene. They put over the titles and talk about how tough of competitors the Horsemen are but the Rougeaus are champions for a reason and tonight they get to show everyone why! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Rougeau Brothers © vs The Horsemen w/ Bobby Heenan -These guys get the final spot on this card and they deliver. Tag title matches have a 30-minute time limit according to the Fink and these four put on a clinic. They go 20-minutes and have a lot of smooth tags and transitions. The crowd is fully behind the Rougeaus here but there is some love for Tully and Arn. We have a lot of near-falls with both teams coming up close here and there. Jesse puts over both teams but says that the titles belong to the Horsemen and they will get them. Around the 18-minute mark we see Heenan starting to stir outside the ring before the Rougeaus double dropkick Tully out of the ring to the floor. Arn runs at them and they backdrop him over the top! The Rougeaus go out on the apron and leap for crossbodies but Arn is able to counter and he drops Jacques on his throat on the guardrail! OH MY! This is the opening as Raymond is checking on his brother but Arn comes out of nowhere with a knee right to the kidneys! Arn tosses him back into the ring and a staggering Tully comes with a knee right to the back of the neck! Wait a minute… here it comes… SPIKE PILEDRIVER! 1….2…..3!!! The Horsemen have regained the titles! This is chaos! Here comes Flair and Windham! Angel and Sherri! What a celebration! *COMMERCIAL* Jesse Ventura meets us back in the locker room with the Horsemen and the champagne is flowing! Everyone has a drink and they are hooting and hollering up a storm! Jesse says the Horsemen are right where they belong with the titles but then Barry seems to be a little left out. He says that he may not have the gold around his waist right now but it won’t be long! The Horsemen all shout and cheer as we head to Mean Gene… We cut to Mean Gene who is with Hulk Hogan and he is going nuts… he says that Terry Funk has not ended Hulkamania but enraged it! He says that he is challenging Funk to any kind of match he wants and he will show him why Hulkamania is the strongest force in the world! We then cut to Jesse and Vince who sign us off for the final SNME of 1986 and say that SNME will return in 1987 and be bigger than ever!

Davey Boy Smith vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji -This is a fun one for a couple of minutes with Davey Boy showing off his singles skills. The match ends with a schmoz when the Nasty Boys come out along with Muta and beat him down before we see the Rockers and Curt Hennig come out for the save! We have an official ruling from Jack Tunney that next week on Prime Time… Curt Hennig will face the Great Muta for the TV Title and there must be a winner or the title will go vacant and be decided in a tournament! Kamala w/ Mr. Fuji & Kim Chee defeated Hillbilly Jim -We saw Kim Chee and Fuji all get involved and hurt on Hillbilly which brought out Tito Santana. This was all just a ploy for Funk, Buck, and Jack to come out and triple team Santana before we could see Hillbilly make the save. Lots of chaos. We got an event center with Mean Gene running down the big SNME card next week highlighted by Savage vs Bravo for the IC Title along with the tag title contest! Plus we’ll see Hulk Hogan against Kamala and Andre the Giant and Blackjack Mulligan taking on Ric Flair and Barry Windham! Andre, Mulligan, & The Rougeaus vs The Horsemen -A quick little taste for the fans as these guys all got involved quickly but in the 7-minutes the match was going on nothing substantial happened. 6. Bad News with a title change is a big move here as he's got a lot of momentum in his direction. That's a fun little six-man elimination as well with the Battlebowl rules. Final Stage - Battlebowl Rules - NWA Tag Titles... a lot going on here and my oh my did it deliver. Kerry and Gagne are the new champs... great stuff. Love to see Ole and Ivan getting a shot. I definitely think they have some merit still in this time and this is the way to use them. Great stuff all around.
  7. Orndorff and Brody as a tag team... that would be quite the pairing! Dr. D and Rocky Johnson would also be a fun hard hitting affair. I am digging the awesome twosome and wondering where they will go. JCP has got a lot of singles stars and while that's a good thing it also pulls a team like these guys apart. Really fun BattleBowl rules... like I said... I am all in for it and can't wait!

Plus the Horsemen are here and so is Hulk Hogan to address Terry Funk… right now we head to the ring for our opening contest… Mike Rotundo & Terry Taylor vs The Russian w/ Slick -This story of the Russians continues as early on we see the One Man Gang come out and he turns this into a 3 on 1 before we see Duggan and Reed run down to the ring to break things up. Slick is goating Duggan to the back and out of the shadows…. THAT’S THE BIG BOSS MAN! The Boss Man is here and he cracks Duggan with the knight stick! This one has to be stopped by the officials as Slick has amassed an army here… We here from the Rougeau Brothers who look forward to their SNME match against the Horsemen and talk about how there is a 30-minute time limit and they will use every second of it to make the Horsemen know just how Fabulous they are! We then have Sting come out and he cuts a promo on the big TV title match tonight and he says that he knows Muta is dangerous but he knows Hennig is the better wrestler. Sting says he has found some great friends here in the WWF but knows he has a lot more enemies. He puts over Hulk Hogan before we see Terry Funk come out. Funk and Sting go back and forth while Funk is putting over how he will make Hogan paint his face too to hide his identity. Sting takes offense but then Funk sucker punches him. Funk says that no one is safe and Hogan will be the one bowing down when it is all said and done! TV CHAMPIONSHIP Curt Hennig vs The Great Muta w/ Mr. Fuji -No “true” champion here as the title has been held up. These two go the 15-minute time limit and put on a very fun match. We see lots of catch wrestling with Muta putting out some high flying here and there. With seconds remaining we see the finish of Muta going for the Moonsault but Hennig moving… Muta landing and going for a crescent kick before Hennig ducks and then grabs him for a Fisherman’s Suplex for a 2 count right as the bell rings before the referee’s hand strikes 3! The crowd is hot as they thought Hennig had won it but alas... The title is still up for grabs! The Horsemen come out and cut promos on everyone and run everyone into the ground. They talk about the Rougeaus and how they may be a good tag team but it takes defending those titles to be great and they won’t be able to do it at SNME! Windham says that Mulligan has been a thorn in his side for too long and that it is high time he removes it for good! Flair goes off on Hogan and Andre and says that Turkey Day is going to be great because of a giant 500 pound turkey named Andre the Giant! That brings out the big man but he isn’t alone as he is with the Rougeaus and Mulligan! They set the stage for a big Thanksgiving Day showdown in Indianapolis! MAIN EVENT SIX-MAN TAG Randy Savage & The Hart Foundation vs Valentine, Bravo, & Honky Tonk w/ Jimmy Hart & Hercules -A big time six-man with a lot on the line here for all involved. We see the team of the Harts and Savage really shine tonight and they have got the crowd 100% behind them. Jimmy’s boys have got some good heat and the marquee match is with Valentine vs Savage. It is off the chain with these two really putting forth an awesome effort and giving nothing but stiff shots to one another. The finish is messy with Hercules nailing Bret with the chain leading to the Anvil hurling himself out of the ring on top of him. This gets Bravo and Honky a chance to double team Savage but he duck out of the ways and ends up sending both men out of the ring but he’s there to follow. Bret Hart is slow to get up and here comes Valentine with that shin guard and CRACKS the Hitman in the skull and gets the 3-count. Brutus runs down to even the odds as this 8-man cannot be contained! The final segment sees Hulk Hogan come out to a monstrous ovation. He comes out to Mean Gene on the podium and just lays into Terry Funk and challenges him to come out right now and fight. Hogan goes into the ring and he continues to cut a promo and when Funk comes out he isn’t alone… here comes Bunkhouse Buck and Jack Manson. These two crazy fools join Funk as he walks down and they circle the ring. The crowd then pops as they get up but Tito Santana and Sting run down and even the odds! Funk and company back off and Funk is all smiles. He tells Hogan he’s a turkey and he’s going to stuff him on Thanksgiving! WWF Live 11/29 Presents: SATURDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT XII Houston, TX – Sam Houston Coliseum INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth vs Dino Bravo w/ Jimmy Hart Andre the Giant & Blackjack Mulligan vs Ric Flair & Barry Windham w/ Bobby Heenan Hulk Hogan vs Kamala w/ Mr. Fuji TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Rougeau Brothers © vs The Horsemen
  9. Yeah I think we missed some pieces of the main event... outside of that... I think what is most telling is the match of Ken Patera and Bob Backlund happening here and what it means now compared to a couple of years ago. I think they both have relevancy but here in the AWA they are continuing to fight to show that they are on top of their game.
  10. I am interested in the long term run of the Von Erich... Kerry definitely lost some momentum with all the changes that went abound but it doesn't be he can't rebound.... but against the likes of Orndorff and Dibiase... along with Studd he has got tough competition. I am pumped for battle bowl... one of my all time favorite gimmicks... gonna be exciting stuff.
  11. Can you do a title role call for me? I want to see who has what right now... Also...I would have loved to see a Sawyer vs Khan match... I am sure it would have been wild! Not to mention the big surprise of Stagger Lee and the roll up on Dibiase... shits hitting the fan!

We see that the One Man Gang comes out to get involved but Dugan whacks him with the 2x4 and inside the ring Butch Reed hits a flying shoulder block for the 3-count on Boris! Promo from Tito Santana and Blackjack Mulligan. Tito puts over how Terry Funk’s actions were disgusting and he wants to shut Terry Funk’s mouth up for good! Mulligan says that the Horsemen are on borrowed time and with the Rougeau Brothers getting the gold… Savage taking it from Barry… next will be Andre taking the title from Flair! Brutus Beefcake vs Dino Bravo w/ Jimmy Hart -A fun little contest with these two embroiled in a feud in which they are secondary players. The turn of Dino Bravo has struck a cord with a lot of folks and he has got some big time heat from the crowd. Brutus is coming into his own as a worker but is far from great. The finish sees Jimmy Hart try to get involved but Brutus rocks him with a big shot only for Bravo to grab the megaphone and nail Brutus for the DQ! This brings out the rest of Harts men with Honky, Hercules, and Valentine coming to wear down Brutus but the team of Savage and the Hart Foundation come out to make the save and the crowd pops! Randy Savage, Brutus Beefcake, and the Harts cut down Jimmy Hart’s crew and Savage says this is his team and they will fight the good fight for everyone to see! The Rougeaus say they are up for the challenge and look forward to showing the world why they are the best tag team in wrestling. The Horsemen say they will face anyone tonight in that ring... -Enter Mike Rotundo and Terry Taylor Taylor and Rotundo come out to a nice little pop as both men have been here before but nothing major. They say they want the Horsemen tonight and will make a big name for themselves right here on Prime Time! We will see the match when we come back! Mike Rotundo & Terry Taylor vs Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard w/ Bobby Heenan -As if the Horsemen needed another challenge… we see the formidable competition of Rotundo and Taylor who are back in the WWF and have high hopes. Blanchard and Anderson are too much for these two but it is still a fun 9-minute contest with some fun moves and each team showing off the skills. A blind knee to the kidneys on Rotundo from Tully sets up the Spinebuster and 3-count from Anderson for the victory! The final segment sees Terry Funk come out and scare off Gorilla Monsoon and grab the microphone from Jesse. He starts running down Hulk Hogan and just throws him under the bus for being a yellow dog. He says Hogan was never man enough to wrestle him so he sure as hell won’t be man enough to fight him! Funk continues on until we see Jack Tunney and officials come out. They escort Funk from the arena and he has gone completely insane!
  13. Buzz Sawyer is in an interesting spot here... He has an upside and this story could show that. The coup against Brody and Orndorff is definitely noteworthy. I like a lot of the things you have going on here especially the placement of Orndorff. I really do think he's almost getting lost in the shuffle with all the talent that you have going but then you see him beat Carrie in the main event and you know that he's still a prime-time player. then you got a guy like Ted DiBiase who is right on the brink of being the top guy and all of JCP. It is not a bad thing but just hard to keep track of the top talent you have and where they could go over the next couple months with battle bowl and starrcade coming up.

Randy Savage, Brutus Beefcake, & Dino Bravo vs Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, & Hercules -What a way to kick it off… Randy Savage is perhaps the most over man in the company right now not named Hulk Hogan. He has got the crowd in the palm of his hand and he’s got some good backup tonight. Bravo and Brutus look jacked and ready for a big showdown as we see Valentine, Honky, and Hercules coming out to some serious boos. Jimmy Hart leads his men into battle and we get underway with a very fun six-man tag. Early on we see a spot in which Beefcake is pushed into the ropes and hits Bravo who goes flying off the apron into the guardrail! The medics come out and take him to the back… it is 2-3! *COMMERCIAL* -We’re back with this match continuing and they are at about the 14-minute mark when the 3 on 2 numbers game is getting the best of Savage and Beefcake and out comes Dino Bravo to a heroes ovation! The crowd is going absolutely wild for him and he’s there for the big hot tag from Savage and he comes in and then comes back around and NAILS SAVAGE! Bravo picks up Savage and SIDEWALK SLAM! Beefcake comes into the ring and Bravo with a high knee right to the skull and he goes flying out of the ring to the floor! The referee has no clue what is going on here… Greg Valentine comes in and he picks up Savage before dropping him with a big brainbuster suplex! Honky picks him up for a shake, rattle, and roll! They continue to put the boots to him but here comes Brutus again but to no avail. The officials and agents come out and back off Hart’s men. The crowd is in complete disarray as to what has happened here. *COMMERCIAL* PT is back with Jesse and Gorilla putting over the victory of the Harts even though Gorilla says it won’t count. They turn their attention to the tag team title match coming up next but before that we have the Horsemen come out and they look glorious tonight but there is definitely a sense of urgency with all them... Bobby Heenan puts over how the Horsemen are always performing on the biggest stages. Tonight, in front of millions of people they will retain the WWF Tag Team Titles and they will pay back Blackjack Mulligan for what he cost Barry Windham. He says that tonight Hulk Hogan is going to get exactly what’s coming to him and he looks forward to seeing Hogan carried out on a stretcher! Arn and Tully put over the tag team title match and say they are just two more pretenders who think they are contenders. When you look at the Horsemen you see first class, you see diamond rings, and you see gold belts. All others are just imitation and they will get exactly what’s coming to them tonight! Barry Windham is back and he puts over how he let his emotions get the best of him but it won’t happen again. Windham says he is more focused now than ever before and that the sins of his father will not be his own but will become his father’s undoing! Ric Flair is lit tonight and he is running wild as he runs down Andre the Giant, Blackjack Mulligan, and then makes claim at Hulk Hogan. He puts over how he has a contract on his desk to face Andre the Giant on December the 29th in Madison Square Garden for the World’s Heavyweight Title. He says it will be the biggest match in the history of the WWF and of this sport and when it is all said and done it will be Ric Flair… the Nature Boy… the World Champion… and the Giant Killer! He then runs down Hogan! He says that Hogan has put every contract he could think of on the line but Ric Flair won’t budge. He says Hogan isn’t a contender. He says that tonight, Dr. D will cash in on the $100,000 and he will walk away with the money and Hogan will be carted off into non-existence like he was never even here! We cut to the back where Mean Gene is with Mulligan and Andre…. They put over the tag titles and laugh at the Horsemen. They say they will be called the Exterminators because tonight they are going to squash some bugs. HAHAHAHA! *COMMERCIAL* PT is back with Gorilla and Jesse pumping up this big tag team match. We see Andre and Mulligan come out ot a great ovation and then Arn and Tully have got some great heat with Bobby Heenan… this one could break loose at any moment… WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Andre the Giant & Blackjack Mulligan vs Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard © w/ Bobby Heenan -This is quite the contest with both teams coming out and looking pretty well. The sheer size of Andre and Mulligan just outdoes anything that Arn and Tully can put together and that’s the story of the match. The highlight is seeing Andre come in and slam both men and them retreat out of the ring with the crowd booing up a storm. The Horsemen are able to get control after Bobby Heenan gets involved. They double up on Blackjack but Heenan gets grabbed by Andre and nailed with a big right hand and now he’s out of it! We come back from commercial with Barry Windham and Angel down at ringside. They are doing everything but throwing punches to help the Horsemen until Blackjack makes his big tag to Andre who comes in and just whales away at every and even nails Windham who goes flying to the floor! The crowd is going nuts right now as Andre looks to finish on Arn but Windham pulls him out of the ring and Andre smashes his elbow on the ground. Tully comes in and pounces but Andre throws him off and out to the floor. There is pure chaos outside the ring when we see Windham come out of nowhere with a lariat on Blackjack and he flies over the guardrail to the floor! Inside the Horsemen try Andre again but he comes with a double clothesline and they go over the top to the floor and the crowd is going nuts. Heenan is back in the ring and Andre picks him up and tosses him over the ropes, onto the Horsemen, knocking everyone down! The referee counts to 10 and Andre and Mulligan have won it. The titles don’t change hands. Mulligan comes back over the rail and he grabs Barry! OMG! It is chaos as the officials come out and the Horsemen flee. We go to the back for a classic Hogan promo as he runs down Dr. D. Hogan has got Hillbilly with him and he says that this fight is for Hillbilly Jim! This is for his buddy and all the Hulkamanaics out there. This fight is going to be the brawl to end it all and he says you better put the women and children to bed because Hulk Hogan is hungry tonight and he smells fresh meat! *COMMERCIAL* PT is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the whole night and now the big main event… the Bounty Match. No Rules in this one and one man will win… if it is Dr. D… he is scheduled to get his money from the Horsemen… if it is Hogan… he may in fact get his hands on Ric Flair when all is said and done! Bounty Match Hulk Hogan vs Dr. D Dave Schultz -One of the biggest matches in the history of Prime Time and we get to see the Hulkster go toe to toe with Dr. D, once and for all. This one's a classic brawl with Hogan pulling out all the stops and Dr. D giving him everything he’s got. Gorilla and Jesse put this through the roof as the best main event we’ve ever seen on Prime Time. The fight goes outside of the ring and we see Hogan send Schultz, pillar to post and the crowd is going wild! They get back in the ring and we see Dr. D get some heat and work over the Hulkster. He looks to be in dire straights with Dr. D looking to finish. He nails him with a big piledriver but one isn’t enough and he does a second one. He goes for the cover but Hogan kicks out and Hulks up! The crowd is ecstatic right now and Hogan hits the big punches and then tosses him to the ropes for the big boot but Schultz stumbles and here comes Hogan with the AXE BOMBA! Schultz is down… the LEGDROP… 1….2….3!!! Hogan has done it! Hogan has won and he has vanquished his enemy! The crowd is going wild with the Hulkster posing for everyone. Security comes and escorts Dr. D to the back and Hogan continues to pose! Gorilla and Jesse put this over in a big way. They say that Hogan has vanquished the bounty and he now has his sight set on Ric Flair who has made it known that he will do anything to keep the title from Hogan. We see the Hulkster walking to the back and posing for the crowd. He turns and OUT OF NOWHERE TERRY FUNK NAILS HOGAN WITH THE BRANDING IRON! OMG! FUNK IS HERE AND HE NAILS HOGAN WITH THE BRANDING IRON! HOGAN IS BUSTED WIDE OPEN! FUNK PICKS UP HOGAN AND PILEDRIVES HIM ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR! THAT’S THE THIRD PILEDRIVER! HOGAN IS UNCONSCIOUS! FUNK IS SCREAMING AT THE CAMERA! THIS IS PURE PANDEMONIUM!
  17. The UWF is alive and well here and what a couple of big matches... Magnum is hurt... how does the UWF recover? Who will take his spot. Hansen is definitely cut to hold that spot and with Dr. Death teaming up with Dusty... we've got a lot on the horizon with the UWF. I also liked the 8-man elimination match... always fun to utilize some of those when possible.
  18. I know we haven't been as active as of late but there's a lot of good stuff going here for JCP as they continue to evolve. I think November will be good with the battle bowl and starrcade on the horizon.. I think that Orndorff is on the rise here in a big way... keep him vulnerable and then pull that trigger and he's gonna be the main dude before too long with a list of challengers to step up and give him a go.
  19. If its a one night stand go ahead. It can't hurt for a one night showing and shouldn't hurt us with the cap. Just my opinion.
  20. WWF NEWS -The WWF continues to expand into new markets and with the addition of the Rougeau Brothers, the WWF will look to run some former Lutte spots as B-shows. Expect big things out of the tag team along with the Hart Foundation and Dino Bravo. These guys are all pushed big from Canada... the WWF will continue to expand to the north and make Toronto one of its major areas of focus. - With the big finish of Randy Savage and Barry Windham in the books... all eyes are on what the future will hold for Savage. Some think he will get a Hogan esq push with Savage going against monster types to build up his resume as someone who can go against anyone and come out on top. -Negotiations have continued with Terry Funk and the Road Warriors but word is coming out that all of them are getting top-tier money from Japan and look to continue bookings there for the time being. -The WWF will be running a special show on Thanksgiving night... much like last year, it is a team concept thought up by the WWF booking committee of Pat Patterson and Vince McMahon. This could be a staple in the future as the WWF continues to look into the idea of Pay Per Views and expanding that market in 1987. -Paul Heyman aka Paul E Dangerously is said to be a constant bother in the back because he is trying to pick up every bit of information he can about the business. Some find it to be a great quality while others view him as a pest. Needless to say, he is making noise in his performances in the right direction. -Expect Jack Manson, formerly Cactus Jack to be paired up with Bunkhouse Buck on somewhat of a full-time schedule in the coming weeks. He is said to be doing everything that is asked of him and making a good name for himself which could translate into a full-time gig. -The Warrior showed up at television tapings the other day and had some heat with WWF officials after no-showing a couple of weeks ago... he and Sting are said to have had some serious words with one another before Warrior was asked to leave. -Hulk Hogan is said to be getting a lot of "love" in the back with WWF officials. He isn't happy he isn't champion nor getting shots at the title...obviously the big play is WrestleMania but with Hogan in a negational mood with his contract coming up before WrestleMania... he does hold all the cards as the one true draw in America. He could go to any promotion in the US and make serious money. He also has offers from Japan which led to Flair coming in in the first place. Right now Hogan has the cards to play and Flair has the title... the WWF has WrestleMania 3 coming up and the storyline to sell it out... but how do we get there and what happens? Do we live in a world where Flair beats Hogan and keeps the title if Hogan won't negotiate? Would he even sign up to do the job? This writer doesn't think so and a majority of others feel the same way.
  21. Some good matchups are and I wouldn't mind seeing a 1985 Ken Patera vs a 1991 Ron Simmons. You've got a Ron Simmons who had a pretty high profile from UWF. He could fare well here. Teaming him with Spivey also gives him an extra kick. Looking forward to Rick Martel around here... he is definitely someone to keep an eye on.
  22. WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 10/20 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena PT opens up this week with lots of footage from the Main Event III. Right now we’ve got a big singles match… let’s head to the ring! Brutus Beefcake vs Steve Lombardi -A good showcase for Brutus who is getting back in the mix here in the WWF. He handles Lombardi with ease and gets the pinfall with a hot shot suplex for the 3-count. Brutus works the crowd… he isn’t quite the barber but he’s getting close! We then see Paul E come out with the Nasty Boys. They put over their feud with Sting and Davey and say they are going to make sure there will be more British Bull puppies or little Stingers! *COMMERCIAL* PT is back and we hear that Tito Santana is out of the match next week for the tag title due to the laceration from Dr. D… instead… we will see Andre the Giant teaming with Blackjack Mulligan to take on the Horsemen! That brings out the Horsemen and they don’t look happy… and they are WITHOUT Barry Windham! Bobby Heenan starts things off really going off on Hulk Hogan and says that Dr. D started a job but he will finish it next week in the bounty match! Heenan says he saw the contract and has the money ready for Schultz if he puts an end to Hogan once and for all. Arn and Tully go to task on Tito Santana and tell him that he is out for good reason and if he were in there it would be even worse! They turn their attention to Mulligan and Andre and say the bigger they are… the harder they fall. They won at the Main Event III and will do it again next week! Ric Flair addresses the elephant in the room and says that Barry Windham got the night off the recoup and figure out a way to get that title from Randy Savage but first he’s got to deal with Mulligan and Flair goes on to tell Mulligan that before too long he will be the one who puts him down if Barry won’t! Flair then goes to task on Andre and runs him down saying he will never be a tag team champion, let alone the world champion and that Ric Flair would be like Jack and the beanstalk and chop that giant down! He then says that Hulk Hogan is just a glimmer in his eye and next week he will be ringside to watch Dr. D put an end to him once and for all! *COMMERCIAL* PT is back with Jesse and Gorilla putting over the news of Barry Windham. This leads to Gorilla saying that the Horsemen have problems while Ventura says they don’t and they go back and forth on that. That leads us into our next contest… The Hart Foundation vs Jack Manson & Bunkhouse Buck -This Jack Manson guy is kind of a scary dude and the kids aren’t excited to see him. He and Bunk are a fun little pairing but the former tag team champions are really firing on all cylinders right now. We see the Hart Attack on Manson for the 3-count and the Harts are winners. We cut to Gorilla and Jesse and they are joined by Mr. Fuji who is with Muta and the TV title! They say that the decision was final and that the title is theirs! That brings out Curt Hennig who is looking for a fight. He says that he’s the champ and he’ll face Muta anytime… anywhere… Muta is ready right now but the Harts are there to hold Henig back. *COMMERCIAL* PT is back with Gorilla and Jesse pumping up the night. They put over the big bounty match next week along with the tag title match. We have them pump up the main event as we cut to the ring... Billy Jack Haynes vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty big main event here with Haynes and Valentine doing some serious work. Valentine looks to be in great shape and to top it all off he is very vicious. We see the Honkytonk Man and Hercules in the background with Jimmy Hart in the foreground. The Hammer is able to secure the victory when he comes out of nowhere with a nasty shin to the skull and then an elbow to the throat for the 3-count. They are working the crowd but the fans don’t seem to care as Randy Savage has joined Gorilla and Jesse… Randy Savage is with Jesse and Gorilla and they are pumping up how Savage defended the title and vanquished Barry Windham. They put over how Savage is accepting any and all comers for the IC title and he looks forward to his next defense but that draws out Valentine, Honky, and Hercules who come over with Jimmy and they start giving Savage the business in a big way. They are saying all three of them are the top contenders and they should be the ones with the shot at the title. Savages says anytime, anywhere but as they look to pounce here comes Brutus Beefcake and Dino Bravo! They join up with Savage and we hear that it will be a six-man tag next week right here on a special edition of Prime Time! See you then!
  23. Champion vs Champion is a big deal here and two of the hottest acts in the territory. I like what happens and how this one could still break loose... and then what could happen if the titles were on the line! Now you head into New York huh? You better know the WWF faithful were there to boo and hold up random signs to show their loyalty! I like the loop right now and hoping to see more as MACW continues to expand.
  24. WWF Presents The MAIN EVENT III 10/19 Cleveland, OH – Convention Center {The Main Event opens with a limo pulling up and here come the Horsemen. Jesse: That’s right McMahon and don’t forget this… Windham has beaten Savage twice this year… Savage has beaten Windham twice this year… this is the big one… for all the marbles… there must be a winner! Vince: I think everyone is looking forward to that event and of course the big six-man tag team encounter with the Horsemen taking on a dream team of sorts with Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and Tito Santana! Jesse: You call it a dream team well you must be dreaming McMahon. Those three have never teamed together. They are not a unit. They can’t trust one another. The Horsemen breathe as one… they fight as one… and don’t you forget… they are all champions! Vince: That may very well be true but they are up against one of the greatest forces ever assembled… right now let’s go to the back where Mean Gene is standing by… Gene is standing by with Hogan, Andre, and Tito. They are all hyped up and ready and Hogan goes off… Hulk Hogan: Well you know something Mean Gene. Tonight’s the night dude. You are talking about millions of people all over the world tuning in for this one event man. Tonight Randy Savage is going to finish off that no good Barry Windham once and for all and tonight we turn the Horsemen into geldings dude! Let me lay it all on the line right now for everyone… Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard… know that tonight we are not taking any prisonoers. There’s no rules when you deal with mother nature and right now you are looking at the top of the food chain and we’re hungry brother. We’re hugnry for a victory and tonight we’re coming for it. Let’s go! Hogan and company leave the area and head right to the ring. The crowd just absolutely erupts when they come out and the fans are going wild! Jesse and Vince put it over in a big way and talk about how important this match is for these men and how it could really shape the future of both teams. We then cut to the back and here is Gene Okerlund once again but now he’s with the Horsemen. Arn and Tully run down Andre and Tito while Bobby adds that he is going to be with Windham to get him ready for his match. Ric Flair then jumps in and let’s the world know his intentions… Ric Flair: Wooooo! Cleveland… NBC… the Main Event III! Lemme tell the world something right now. Since I walked into this company, from day one, I told everyone that I was going to become World Champion and I did it. I told everyone these two men would be world tag team champions and they have done it. We told everyone we would dominate this sport and we’ve done it! Hogan! I told you I would run you out of this company and pal… tonight we do it! I am going to put you down and don’t think for a moment you will ever be able to recover from the beating we’re going to give you. This is NBC! This is bright lights! This is PRIME TIME daddy and WOOOO the Horsemen are here to style and profile and that’s what it’s gonna be and Hogan… you are the one who is going to pay for it all. WOOOOOO! The Horsemen leave and then come out to a good pop. They have some great heat and the women leading them to the ring makes it that much better. They just ooze confidence and with the titles it is hard to go against them. We get the eye to eye with Hogan and Flair and the crowd is going wild. The thing to remember is that this is the first time they have met in the ring… on television… for a match... SIX-MAN TAG Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, & Tito Santana vs Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, & Tully Blanchard w/ Angel and Sherri -This is an hour long broadcast and these guys go 18-minutes and the fans eat up every moment of it. We get a commercial break right in the middle but for television this is a fun visual. We see Tito Santana come in for the work rate and there may not be any better in the business at it then him. Andre comes in and shows off some real power that just gets the crowd going wild as they love to see him against the Horsemen. The Horsemen all exchange tags and Flair has got the most heat but Arn and Tully hold their own and with quick tags and double teams they control the pace. It is Hulk Hogan who blows the roof off the building when he comes in and just goes wild. He is nailing Flair, Arn, and Tully and sending them all over the place. The final drive for the match sees the Horsemen work over Tito Santana until it looks like he has nothing left before he makes the huge tag to Hogan. He comes in again but this time all hell breaks loose. Andre grabs Tully and Arn and they are fighting outside the ring. Flair ends up nailing Tito who falls into the ropes… when he turns around it is Flair and Hogan and the crowd explodes. These two trade blows for a couple of moments before out of the shadows comes Dr. D Dave Schultz! He runs down to the ring and just DESTROYS Tito Santana with a chair, splitting his head wide open! Hogan sees this and nails Flair and then goes after Dr. D. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Flair crawls over and puts his arm over Tito for the 3-count and the Horsemen win it! The crowd is shocked here as Arn and Tully escape from Andre enough to pull Flair out of the ring and drag him to the back. The Horsemen have won it, Dr. D has struck again, and we’re just getting started! *COMMERCIAL* ME3 returns with a promo from Ric Flair and the Horsemen as they are with Lord Alfred Hayes. They said that they didn’t see Dr. D Dave Schultz come out. They aren’t worried about him. They are worried about their victory. They say that the crown jewel will come in just a little while when Barry Windham puts an end to the Macho Man once and for all!
