Andre is putting on some major miles here... but what a contest it would be with Humungous. I like the push of Kernodle... even at Snuka's expense. -
WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 5/5 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Phoenix, AZ – Veterans Memorial Auditorium Prime Time opens this week with Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura putting over the announcements of Jack Tunney this week. Jesse says he already knows what he’s going to say but he won’t spoil it for Monsoon. They also talk about SNME this weekend and the big return of Hulk Hogan but also the first WWF title defense of Ric Flair as he goes up against Tito Santana! We learn that the Horsemen will be here tonight and we will surely have some sparks fly because Tito Santana and Wahoo McDaniel are here as well! We head to the ring for our opening contest! SD Jones & Jim Powers vs Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -A great little opener in terms of putting Demolition over the top as perhaps the biggest and baddest tag team in wrestling but some mutters of the Russians kind of spark some interest. Fuji and Demolition take on the Bulldogs this weekend at SNME but tonight is a good tune up and it is all over but the crying when SD Jones gets hit with the Decapitation Device! -We cut back to the booth where we see The British Bulldogs cutting a promo on Demolition. They put over SNME and say that they know the winners will be in line for a tag title shot and they hope to be the ones to get the chance at the gold but know they can’t look past Demolition! *COMMERCIAL* -We return to Prime Time and here comes Jack Tunney. He joins Gorilla and Jesse and they hammer through some of the tough topics in the WWF right now. Tunney then goes on to make the following announcements… Jack Tunney: In regards to Hulk Hogan and his challenge of the contract with Ric Flair. I have had my lawyers look through the contract thoroughly and look at any and all circumstances. In every case we found that the contract is true and lawful. It clearly states that with a match of this magnitude it can only happen once. There would be no rematch for the WWF Championship. That is the special factor. Hulk Hogan can challenge Ric Flair in a match up… but Ric Flair has the full right to deny the championship stipulation for each contest. -A chorus of BOOS explode throughout the arena. Jack Tunney: I understand the concerns that you fans have but that is the contract and it will be followed. Now, on to the next order of business. I would like to show you all the newest title to be added to the WWF… this is the WWF Television Championship! Jack Tunney: This title was created to be showcased on shows like Wrestling Challenge, Supersters, and right here on Prime Time. There will be a special 15-man tournament that will start in two weeks. It will be a single elimination tournament. The pairings will be drawn at random…. But there will be one man who gets a bye in the first round. That man will be the one who wins the special 15-man battle royal this weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event! The participants are: Curt Hennig, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Wahoo McDaniel, Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, Don Muraco, Sika, One Man Gang, Bad News Brown, Billy Jack Haynes, Sting, Dino Bravo, Tonga Kid, and Bull Ganter! Jack Tunney: These 15 individuals will take part in this special battle royal and the winner will get a first round bye. The individual pairings will also be announced right here next week on Prime Time. Please tune in this Saturday Night for SNME. Thank you! -A lot of boos fill the air for Jack Tunney who walks off but damn is he getting some heat for that Hulk Hogan announcement. The fans are really letting him have it as Gorilla and Jesse put over the announcement and say we will hear from Tito Santana when we come back! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back and Tito Santana is here with Wahoo McDaniel. They put over their issues with the Horsemen and how they play the system. Ric Flair is ducking and dodging Hulk Hogan but Tito is going to make him pay for it this weekend. He knows that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and he is going to fulfill it. Wahoo McDaniel talks about training with Ric Flair and knowing everything he can and cannot do in that ring. He puts over how he is going to be right there to help Tito with the Horsemen and he knows that by hook or by crook there will be a winner the right way! Jesse and Gorilla put it over and then our next contest... The Tonga Kid vs Bad News Brown -Another really fun match tonight with Prime Time continuing to roll. Bad News and Tonga both get into the TV title tournament this weekend but tonight they get a primer. Tonga Kid flies all over the ring to get some offense going and it works. Bad News turns the tables and gets some heat but then Tonga fires back and comes with some fists of fire and then he looks to finish as he goes up top for a flying cross body but Bad News catches him and SLAMS him down hard on the mat! The crowd gasps and Bad News gets the 3-count out of nowhere. This guy is dangerous and Jesse and Gorilla put him over as perhaps the unsung favorite of the tournament and he’s able to turn the lights out that quick! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time returns with Gorilla and Jesse putting over SNME this weekend. They talk about Hulk Hogan taking on the Super Invader II. Jesse says that it may end up being him underneath the mask of this huge masked man but Gorilla says he would have stunt men doing that kind of work for him now. Jesse resents his remarks. They talk about Demo vs the Bulldogs and the big title match with Flair and Tito. They talk about the 15-man battle royal and what is at stake for the winner. They turn their attention to another big match here tonight with Shawn Michaels and Paul Roma! Shawn Michaels w/ Marty Jannetty vs Paul Roma w/ Jimmy Hart & Hercules -A pretty good contest here with Michaels putting on some good stuff but Roma isn’t quite there as a singles. He and Shawn go about 8-minutes but it ends up as sloppy mess with a double DQ finish. We see Hercules get involved with leads to Marty Jannetty. All four men jump into the mix and we get pure chaos as Jimmy Hart is in awe of what is going on here! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back for the final segment and out come the Horsemen, Heenan, and the ladies Angel and Sherri. They run up and down about all things Horsemen and put everyone in their place. Here are some highlights… Bobby Heenan: What a whirlwind couple of weeks it has been and it has been the best of my life! I have got the Horsemen, I have got the women, I have got the World Title and I have got the IC Title… soon we’ll have the television championship and the World Tag Team Championship! Things can only continue to go up from here… but for some of you… they will go down. Hulk Hogan… you heard Jack Tunney say it loud and proud that you are finished with the World Title. Never again will you get the chance to get your hands on this title and Hogan nothing makes me happier! For those of us who saw the event, everyone knows that Ric Flair put you down 1...2...3 and it was that simple and that easy! Now… we move on. Tito Santana… you pal are going to get what is coming to you. You wanna come out here with the Big Chief and think it is something special… we don’t flinch for such chicanery. We are going to continue to come at you and put you down and out of this sport. Randy Savage… listen up closely… you and Barry Windham have had battles all over this country but the war…. The war is almost over. We have worn you down but soon we drop the bomb… the bomb that will put you so far down you can’t get up. We are going to put the finishing touches on you Savage and there will be nothing left! Arn Anderson: As Bobby Heenan put it so eloquently, the time for talking about it has come and passed and now is the time to be doing it. We are setting our minds right now on the prize and for Tully Blanchard and myself it is that Television Championship. That title means that week in and week out you come out here on television and beat the best… well right here right now you are looking at the best and that belt will be around one of our waists before too long and there will be a path of bodies all the way to that prize! Tully Blanchard: That’s right Double A. Everyone is talking about what would happen if we met in the middle of that ring and brother, I think you and I both know that it would be the war of all wars. One man would win and the other would lose but when it all came to an end there would be a title in the camp of the Horsemen and that is the most important thing. Now… for you 13 other wanna be champions out there. At SNME it is going to be every man for himself… but these Horsemen are going to stick together. We don’t care how big you are or how dangerous you are… come Saturday only one man will survive and that will be a Horseman! Barry Windham: I love it man… a couple of months ago I was looking around at a group of men who were out for themselves but now I look at a group of men who have a singular purpose and that is the betterment of each individual. I can say without question that I am approaching the prime of my career and 1986 will be a banner year for Barry Windham as the Intercontinental Champion. I have fought Randy Savage all over this country but Savage, I am getting tired of wearing you out and it is time to put you down and put that old lady of yours down as well if you catch my drift. All over this country people compare the two of us as two of the best to lace up the boots but Savage… I won your crown… and I won your title… I guess that makes me the better wrestler and if I get my hands on Elizabeth she will see that I am the better man too! Understand this above all else Savage… when we’re done with you…. It will be as though you never existed and the history books will be wiped clean of any resemblance of Randy Savage! Ric Flair: My oh my look what we’ve got here. WOOO! (Twirls the women). You are talking about the two finest women in the world right here with the Horsemen. You are talking about Bobby Heenan...the smartest man in this business. You’ve got Tully and Double A… the best tag team that money can buy and of course the King of the Ring Barry Windham. To cap it all off… you’ve got the UNDISPUTED REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION… Ric Flair. You look at that list and you know it can’t be touched and it can’t be combatted but here we go with Hulk Hogan… Randy Savage… Tito Santana… and now you wanna add Wahoo McDaniel to that list. HA! Wahoo… you climbed up the wrong tree pal! The Horsemen have a focus and that is to keep this title right here around my waist and if you think for a second you can come in here outta nowhere and try me… ha… pal you better think again. I am sick and tired of hearing about Tito Santana… Chico… this Saturday you are going to get the beating of your life in front of a National Television Audience and there is not a thing you can do about it… plus… I am going to style and profile all over NBC when I am doing it. Tito, I know you can work pal but can you work for 60-minutes because that’s what it takes to beat me. That’s what it is going to take to go the limit with Ric Flair and I just don’t think you’ve got it pal! Now… onto the biggest turkey of them all… Hulk Hogan! (Pulls out a handkerchief) Here you go Hulkster… this is for you and the millions of those pukeamaniacs out there who have been whining and crying since you heard what Jack Tunney said. I told you before Hogan that I was going to come in and win this title and that’s exactly what I did. I came in and shocked the world… but it didn’t shock me or any of the Horsemen… you see we knew we could beat you and pal we did it and we did it in the biggest way possible… I only wish there was footage of the 1….2….3 so I could replay it over and over! But know this Hogan… I do play it over and over in my head… I play it through when I go to bed and when I wake up because I AM THE MAN! I am the man who put you down and took your title and now… now Hulk Hogan you are the one who has to try and find a way to get it back but the problem is that there isn’t one! There is no way for you Hogan and you better just give up… give up now because if you don’t I am going to dog you Hogan. I am going to drive you out of wrestling and pal… not even Hollywood would touch you when I am done with you. So let me leave it right here… Hogan… McDaniel… Santana… you’ll all be there on Saturday Night… watch Saturday Night’s Main Event and see the Real World’s Champion Ric Flair defend his WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and show the world why being a Horsemen is not for everyone… just the best…. WOOO! -Jesse and Gorilla put it over as the Horsemen speak some strong words but have got a big weekend coming up. Will one of them walk out with a round one bye in the tournament? Will Flair be able to handle Tito Santana? Will Hogan get his hands on Flair? All that and more this weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event! Saturday Night’s Main Event VIII 5/10/86 WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana vs Ric Flair © Hulk Hogan vs Super Invader II The British Bulldogs vs Demolition Special TV TITLE TOURNAMENT Battle Royal!

WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Featuring: Wahoo McDaniel & Tito Santana, The Bulldogs, Dino Bravo, Bad News Brown, & Sting -We also get hype that Hulk Hogan will deliver his first words since losing the WWF title tomorrow on Superstars! -Jack Tunney will be on Prime Time this week with a huge announcement! MAIN EVENT The Rockers vs Power & Glory w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty hot match here with these four guys leaving it in the ring and don’t forget about Jimmy Hart doing some great work outside the ring. He is pumping up his men in a big way and seems to have a great rapport with these guys from the onset. Michaels and Jannetty really have a lot of speed behind their moves and bring some great spots to the action but it is the influence of Jimmy Hart that tells the tale. The Rockers go up top for a double fist drop but it is Jimmy Hart grabs the ropes and Marty comes crashing down and nuts himself. Shawn jumps off the ropes and makes chase for Jimmy but this sets up Hercules for a SUPERPLEX and then Roma for a SPLASH and the 1….2…..3!! Hart isn’t there to celebrate this big win for his team but Power and Glory look like a force here in the WWF! Saturday Night’s Main Event VIII 5/10/86 WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana vs Ric Flair © Hulk Hogan vs Super Invader II The British Bulldogs vs Demolition Special Battle Royal! WWF Live 5/3 Dallas, TX - The Convention Center MAIN EVENT TEXAS DEATHMATCH Hulk Hogan defeated The One Man Gang Ric Flair & Arn Anderson w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Tito Santana & Wahoo McDaniel INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage v Barry Windham © went to a 30-minute draw TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © defeated Honky Tonk & Valentine via DQ Tully Blanchard w/ Bobby Heenan defeated Billy Jack Haynes WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Featuring: Bull Ganter, The Russians, Curt Hennig, & Don Muraco -Jack Tunney will be on Prime Time this week with a huge announcement! Hulk Hogan: You know I had a hard time getting up and looking at myself in the mirror after what happened two weeks ago in Boston. I had to jump right on a plane and head back to Japan for another big match and brother my stomach hurt the entire trip. I will admit that I couldn’t even do my best for all my Japanese Hulkamaniacs over there. Then I got back to the state dude and I sat down and talked to a person I never thought I would call a friend. This guy told me what happened. He told me about Bobby Heenan and brother I became filled with a rage and a madness I have never been filled with before. You know something Ric Flair… you may have tried to trick me with this special contract. Yeah brother… my lawyers and I read it. It states that with a match of this magnitude it can only happen this one time and there can be no rematch. Well brother… if it takes the big guy in the sky himself to come down and count the 1...2...3 I am going to get my hands on you… the weasel… the Horsemen… and my WWF TITLE AND WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE THUNDER AND LIGHTING OF HULKAMANIA CRASHES DOWN ON YOU!!!!?!?!!! MAIN EVENT WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © vs Greg Valentine & The Honky Tonk man w/ Jimmy Hart -Second big contest for Jimmy Hart this weekend and what a contest it is. These four have had some problems for quite some time and now it comes to fruition here on Superstars of Wrestling. This one gets some time and goes about 12-minutes. We see Honky and Valentine work pretty well together and they isolate the Hitman to work him over. We see the formulaic hot tag to the Anvil who comes in like a house of fire and he is rocking all over the ring. He is tossing Valentine and Honky all over the place and he is looking to finish but out of nowhere Valentine with a low blow block and Anvil goes down. It looks like The Hammer and Honky will get the best of the Harts here but out of the back run the Rockers! Shawn and Marty grab Jimmy Hart in the aisleway. This distracts the Hammer who turns around and Bret Hart with a dropkick right to his mush! He flies out of the ring. Bret turns around and Honky runs for a clothesline but Bret ducks… Honky turns and the Anvil grabs him and hoists him up while the Hitman hit the ropes and HART ATTACK! 1….2…..3!!! The Harts win it and the crowd pops. Valentine and Jimmy are irate outside of the ring while Honky is on wobbly legs! Saturday Night’s Main Event VIII 5/10/86 WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana vs Ric Flair © Hulk Hogan vs Super Invader II The British Bulldogs vs Demolition Special Battle Royal! WWF Live 5/4/86 Houston, TX – Sam Houston Coliseum MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Ric Flair © defeated Tito Santana INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage vs Barry Windham © went to a 30-minute draw TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © defeated Valentine & Honky via DQ Wahoo McDaniel & Billy Jack Haynes defeated Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard via Count Out TEXAS TORNADO Demolition defeated The British Bulldogs

I am very interested to see how things she out from the tournament and my oh my the NWA is really cooking right now. Without a doubt, Nikita is in line to be THEE man in the NWA and I am hoping to see it come to fruition sooner than later. I also echo the movement of the Warrior... in 86 he was getting beat up by Phil Hickerson but he isn't far from being a big star.

American Flag as a foreign weapon... LOVE IT I also love the Adonis weigh gimmick. Now I like this idea of Les Duc getting a push but at 17-minutes it is hard to see him being upset. That time seems a little long for me... but just an opinion. -
I like the team of Steamboat and Garvin too... some fun dynamics there... plus Saito and Bock are underrated as well. Piper and Roberts at this point would be quite the entertaining event.

What a second night... so many surprises... and I will go on record that I am not the biggest on the Japanese contingent doing so well... no offense to Gordi but it just surprises me in a big way. Also while I am on record... Martel could might lose the NWA title to Gordi in the shape he is. Great stuff to keep me hooked! -

My bracket is shot... but what an awesome first round. Great stuff man... very creative on the finishes which can be very difficult! -
Well Slick got the Russians... Hart got Power and Glory. It was a confusing turn of events but hopefully good for all involved.

Make whatever correction you think needs to be made on that thread and I'll take it into account when we finalize everything.

WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 4/28 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium -Prime Time opens this week with a limo arrival of the Horsemen and they are dressed to the nines with some gold and some mysterious women… Heenan says this will be a night to remember… we cut inside the arena with Jesse and Gorilla putting over the big card including a special singles match between two tag team competitors! Right now we have tag team action from one of the up and coming teams in the WWF… the Rockers! The Rockers vs Barry Horowitz & Steve Lombardi -A pretty solid outing for Marty and Shawn tonight as they put on a nice contest with two good hands. Nothing spectacular but it is the after match shenanigans that make this one interesting. During the contest we hear Jimmy Hart come into the scene and he is with Valentine & Honky along with his new team… Hercules and Paul Roma… The Rockers hit a double dropkick and get the win but this is just getting started… -Hart is putting over the big tag title match this week on Superstars. He says that when all is said and done he will have all the right pieces to win the tag titles either with Valentine & Honky or with his newest team… Hercules and Paul Roma… THE POWER AND THE GLORY! They all pump up the big signing but the Rockers don’t seem to be impressed. They come over to the set and put over how Roma and Hercules have been ducking them and if they want to prove to everything they are a real team… the Rockers challenge them to a match this week on Challenge! Hart accepts and just like that his weekend got that much more full! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the Harts as the tag champs and the strong tag team division. Tonight we’ll see two tag wrestlers in singles action! We see the Bulldogs come out and they cut a promo on Demolition, Muraco, Sika, and Mr. Fuji. They put over how Andre the giant is hurt right now and had a broken arm. They know that Andre will be back when the time is right and there is no doubt that Sika will pay. We then see Dino Bravo come out and join the Bulldogs and says he isn’t 100% but he will be there for them tonight when they need it! Davey Boy Smith vs Demolition Ax w/ Mr. Fuji -Lots of chaos to start this one before officials come out and reprimand everyone to the back. Muraco, Smash, Sika, Dynamite, and Bravo have to go but Fuji stays and we see a great contest here for about 9-minutes. Some may remember Ax being a great singles star and he shows off some ability here tonight while Davey Boy can handle his own. We see Ax control most of the contest but Davey Boy fights back until he hits the ropes and Fuji NAILS him with the cane! This gives Ax a chance to roll him up with a handful of tights for the 3-count and the crowd is irate! Fuji and Ax get out of dodge while Davey Boy holds his back in pain! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back and we see footage from this past weekend in which Jimmy Hart and Slick exchanged some money and talent. Jimmy Hart got Power and Glory while Slick got some money and with that money he did this… Slick: Well let me tell you something Go-Rilla Monsoon…. I have traveled the world to find the biggest and the baddest. This man right here (One Man Gang) is going to be the one to bring the hammer down my man and brother he can do it to anyone that he wants. You are going to see that tonight but you see…. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a little gold brutha… and with that I wanted to put together a tag team that meant business! I wanted to put a tag team together that struck fear into the hearts of every man, woman, and child who saw em. When my man Jimmy Hart and I traded some talent for some money… well brutha I put that money to work and I decided to get me a little IMPORT action if you will. So tonight… I introduce to you… two men who are bigger and badder than any tag team in wrassling… Nikolai and Boris… the RUSSIAN ASSASSINS! -Out walk Boris Zhukov and Nikolai Volkoff and they look pretty good here. They get a good ooo and aaaahhh from the crowd as Slick puts them over in a big way. We then cut to the ring for our six-man tag main event... Tonga Kid, Jim Powers, & SD Jones vs The Russian Assassins & The One Man Gang w/ Slick -Pretty great showing here from the Russians who are some pretty decent hands in short bursts. We get to see them beat the shit out of Jones and Powers pretty good. Tonga Kid is able to hold his own a little bit but nothing doing when the One Man Gang gets involved and really starts to wear him down! The finish sees the Russians grab Jim Powers. Boris holds him on his shoulders for a powerslam and then Nikolai comes off the middle rope with an elbow to the back of the neck and then the Boris Powerslam for the 3-count! Then we see the Russians really start to put the boots to him but out of the back comes Bull Ganter and the Bull is hot! He comes out and rips away his shirt asking for a fight with the Gang but nothing doing. These two have a lot of history and my oh my they could get it on right now but the Gang smirks and backs up.When will these two clash and what will happen when they do?!?! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back on Prime Time and Jesse and Gorilla build it up as we hear the music. First we see Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard walk out followed by Bobby Heenan and Intercontinental Champion Barry Windham. Then we see a spotlight on the entryway as Ric Flair emerges with two beautiful women… -Gorilla and Jesse put over Flair’s arrival with the rest of the Horsemen. Gorilla is going nuts about the circumstances of how the title changed hands. Jesse is too busy putting over the beautiful women. We hear Heenan announce that the women are Sherri and Angel. He puts over how they are the personal secretaries of the Horsemen and will be dealing with some of the ins and outs of being champions and the top talent in the world. Heenan says he will have his hands full managing the careers of the top four wrestlers in the world but with their help it will be done. We then hear from each of the Horsemen… Arn Anderson: We told you it wouldn’t take long. We told you that the time was come. Well the time is now… the place is here… the Horsemen have arrived. We came here to get the World Title and we’ve got it! Now… it is all about the fixings. With the World Title and the IC title… there are two left…. The tag titles… Hart Foundation… we know you’ve got your hands full… but they are about to get overloaded…. Because we’re coming! Tully Blanchard: That’s right Arn… you see it is all about the fixings right now. Look at Sherri… look at Angel… haha… it doesn’t get any better. Like Double A said… Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart… you better understand that the target on your back just got that much bigger. I almost feel naked out here… but I have got an Angel on my arm so it is okay… but my waist… my waist wants some gold and the gold you two have is the gold we want and we are on the hunt! Barry Windham: You know just a couple of months ago I sat there and looked around and saw a couple of guys fighting for a coming good. We called ourselves a “Family” but we were not joined like this unit. Bobby Heenan and I spoke and we talked about putting this together… bringing in the Horsemen… and it was at Hogan’s expense which makes it that much better. Now on to my business… Randy Savage… you my friend have been that thorn on my heel. I have picked you out but somehow stepped on you again. Well Savage I have stepped on you for the list time and now I squish you. I am sick and tired of hearing you complain about this and that… I have beat you on the grandest stage… I have taken your crown... I have taken your title… and all that is left will be your dignity. When the Horsemen and I are done with you there will be nothing left. Ric Flair: I stand here a man… with money… with women… with the best friends in the world… a man with the most prestigious title… but I don’t have it all. There is one thing left that I need. Hulk Hogan… I told the world that I would take this title and I did it. I told the world I would humiliate you and I did it. Now… I am telling the world that I am going to run you out of the WWF forever… but the best part is Hogan… you don’t get a shot at this (holds up title)! HAHA! You signed the dotted line… you accepted the match… you lost it…. And now you never get the chance at the title again! The Horsemen are on top of the world and there is no one… and I mean no one who can get in our way! WOOO! -The crowd then pops as we see Tito Santana walk out! -Tito walks right up to the Horsemen. Gorilla says he is the number one contender for the WWF Championship and he is face to face with Ric Flair… Ric Flair: Listen there Chico… before you say something… just know that we may be the best dressed men in the business but we will pounce on you like a piece of meat in a second if you say the wrong… Tito Santana: Why don’t you just shut up right there! -The crowd pops as Flair puts the title down and takes off his coat… Tito Santana: Now since you have come to the WWF you have pushed people around. You have made your presence known…. But you need to know that there are some of us who don’t care about these thugs around you! There are some of us who aren’t afraid to stand up with you… face to face and fight you for the title right there! Ric Flair: Well pal…. By hook or by crook you get your shot at SNME… but know that it will be your one and only shot and if you say something else… you are going to be in a world of… Tito Santana: Hurt? You gonna put me in a world of hurt Flair? I don’t think there is one thing you could do without those guys around you and that made me think that perhaps I needed some back up. Perhaps I needed someone to help me out. Ric Flair: There is no one dumb enough to come out here and help you pal… Tito Santana: That may be what you think… but I know the people here in St. Louis know you Flair… they know your past… and they know this man… -THE CROWD EXPLODES WITH WAHOO MCDANIEL! Wahoo is here and he walks up next to Tito Santana and Flair is going nuts! Wahoo doesn’t say much but he is staring Flair down. Flair is ranting and raving right now as the Horsemen are holding him back. This is pure chaos!

Let's put a hold on free agency until CPT picks his roster so as to not have any more confusion.

I could do a Southwestern promotion. Pm me and we'll work out details
-
I know we don't have anything completely formal but I would say stick around for the next week or two give some feedback see if we can come up with a solid list to hook you up with the start. Do you have any idea what kind of a promotion you would like to run? I know we could jump you right in if you wanted to do Mexico or even the idea of doing the southwestern promotion and Us Talent. If you were looking at just a US promotion it would take a little mix and match with the individuals that we have right now but it could be done.

I also like this Chris Adams storyline. I know the Gino died I wasn't sure what I could do with him and you have taken him to a new level. That is awesome and the best part is that everyone wants to see what is going to happen next. When it happens it will be something but the story after the climax is going to be really special. I am really hoping that Spiveymania can find its way back to the top at some point but Piper isn't having that shit.

Just an all around spectacular show! I of course loved seeing Sting win and now I need to find a way to bring that back into the WWF fandom... perhaps someone had a handheld. All around through, your presentation is spectacular and the pictures from the games just make it that much better. Awesome stuff from Japan!

WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 4/21 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Worcester, MA - Centrum Prime Time opens this week with footage backstage at the Boston Garden. We see video of Ric Flair celebrating with Bobby Heenan… we don't see anything from the match just the celebration... We then cut to Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura who put over the amazing news that Hulk Hogan lost the WWF Championship last night in Boston. Gorilla doesn’t believe that the title change will stand due to the blatant interference from the Horsemen. Jesse says that the title is with Flair now and there is nothing that Hogan can do about it! Gorilla says that Flair will be here next week and we will hopefully have word from Hulk Hogan this weekend on Challenge or Superstars… they put over the return of Bad News Brown to the WWF and here we go! Jim Powers vs Bad News Brown -Bad News is back and does a decent job here against Job Powers… I mean Jim Powers. Decent enough contest with the Judo toss and then an Arm Bar for the finish. Jesse puts over how Bad News was a world class judo expert and he has shown it off here tonight. We cut to the booth where we see Sting with Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura. He puts over his world travels and talks about going to Europe and Japan to wrestle some of the best talent in the world. He says that you don’t have to look any further than the WWF for the best talent and the Stinger will prove it! *COMMERCIAL* We return to Prime Time and hear Gorilla and Jesse putting over the Hart Foundation and how they retained the tag titles in the cage at MSG. We then see Jimmy Hart come out with Valentine & Honky… he puts over how in two weeks Honky and Valentine will get a chance at the tag titles and he plans on making some big moves in the tag team division and getting the titles back where they belong! The Hart Foundation vs The Dark Patriots (Thompson & Champion under hoods) -The Harts look fantastic tonight against the Dark Patriots who are VERY VERY GREEN but know how to take an ass whooping. We see the Harts hit the Hart Attack and that’s all she wrote. They walk over to Gorilla and Jesse… -The Harts put over the cage match last week against the Fabs that sent them packing. They said they will take on all comers and will accept all challenges. Jesse brings up the team of the Demolition, he talks about Valentine & Honky, and also heard rumblings about Slick purchasing a new team. The Harts say they accept all comers and will put the titles on the line every night of the week and twice on Sunday! Randy Savage will be here when we get back! *COMMERCIAL* Randy Savage joins Gorilla and Jesse when we return as they put over a plethora of topics. Randy talks about losing the title at Mania and how he is vowing to get the gold back into his hands before too long. We then hear him put over some of the talent coming into the WWF but has choice words for the Horsemen… Randy Savage: Yeah you know there is a lot of top talent coming into the WWF right now and uhh yeahh…. You look up and down the line from top to bottom and the names that pop out are the Horsemen. Yeah. So let me get this straight… uhh… Bobby Heenan ditches his own family and bets everything on Windham. When he wins he kicks the Family to the curb and bets everything on Hulk Hogan and he wins… then Heenan signs three Horse’s asses… I mean Horsemen to contract and now we have got a strange smell around here. Huh? Yeah we have got a sense of something that isn’t quite right. I was in the Boston Garden last night. I saw it go down with Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan and brother… I smell not a horse… but a RAT! Perhaps it was a weasel RAT because that’s what I saw. Let’s put it this way… I don’t think that Bobby Heenan would be able to make it through a metal detector huh? Yeah. You see what I am talking about? Huh? Barry Windham… I will give you the due brother… you put me down twice this year… once was by crook and the second was by hook but brother don’t you think for a moment you will be able to do it again. You see… huh… yeah… you see I am going to do everything I can to get that contract signed and when I do… ohhh when I do there will be no count out… there will be no disqualification… there will be no time limit… and for you there will be no survivial. DIG IT! -Before break we cut back to a couple of weeks ago and the injury of Andre the Giant at the hand’s of Sika. “This draws out Andre the Giant who comes out to a huge pop. He is answering the call of Sika and Fuji and comes to settle the score. He fights off Demolition and Muraco before grabbing Sika who fights with him for a moment. Then we see Muraco and Demo jump back on and they Andre tied into the ropes and start working him over good. Fuji slides in a chair and they are wrecking it into Andre’s arm! He is writhing in pain! Gorilla and Jesse are going wild! Sika then runs and NAILS Andre’s arm again and he is hurt bad here but here comes the Bulldogs and Dino! They come to thwart off this attack but the damage is done. Andre is holding his arm and shoulder back up the rampway… this is trouble for the big man!” *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the big injury to Andre and what this could mean for his career. Jesse puts over how Andre has bigger bones and when they break they take longer to heal… this could perhaps be the straw that breaks the camel’s back… HAHA! Mr. Fuji comes out with his men and they all put over the next contest as we have a premiere six-man match coming up. MAIN EVENT Dino Bravo & The British Bulldogs vs Don Muraco & Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -This one gets a little time as we have seen some issues amongst these men for the last couple of weeks. Almost a WrestleMania rematch if you will but a different story is being told. We see Bravo and Muraco face off in a fun little back and forth while the Bulldogs and Demolition showcase their abilities. The match ends up being a wash when Sika comes out from Fuji’s guise to jump into the ring and attack Bravo! He starts to choke him in the corner and the referee calls for the bell. We see Demolition subdue the Bulldogs and then try to back Sika off to no avail. The big guy is uncontrollable and dangerous. -Jesse and Gorilla put this through the roof as we close out the show with Sika being a mad man and Bravo seemingly coughing up blood from the internal injuries as we go off the air... WWF NEWS -Last night many consider the biggest match in the history of professional wrestling occurred at the Boston Garden. It was Ric Flair challenging Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship. The match was quite entertaining for what it was worth with these two bringing out the best in one another but showing that there were some odd moments to get the chemistry. For 28-minutes, the WWF fans of Boston got to see a different side of Hulk Hogan… one that many hope will stay. He worked a great match using his Japanese repertoire while Flair played the chicken and did a lot of cat and mouse. When it came time for Flair to work the knee he did… he did it in such a manner that Hogan looked as though he would never be able to walk again. This match really gave us a taste of what these two could, should, and hopefully will be able to do in the future… then the ending came. Just as Hulk Hogan was making the comeback of a lifetime, seemingly impervious to pain, the Horsemen struck. It was Anderson, Blanchard, and Windham all coming down and each of them getting their comeuppance by Hogan but it was the attack outside of view by Heenan that made the difference. Heenan seemingly handed something to Flair who got up and clocked Hogan right between the eyes… bloodying up the champion before Flair could make the cover and chance the scope of professional wrestling. Now the question is how in the hell did this happen and why did it happen so quickly? Early in February negotiations began with Ric Flair to come in… while on the other side of the coin Hulk Hogan heard about this and then began his own negotiations with Japan. Hogan got the okay from Vince to go over but the deal ended up being more lucrative than he could imagine with two dates a month on top of merchandising in Japan that differs from the WWF deal. Hogan’s major money comes from what people buy of his and his attraction in Japan is growing and growing the more he is there. When the Flair deal went through, Hogan went ahead and signed his Japan deal but it wasn’t the same as what Vince had though and it was Hogan who signed on for 3-dates a month with some heavy kickbacks. Vince decided he wanted to bring in Flair and have he and Hogan tease their confrontation only to build to a bigger event… then that changed. When Hogan signed the Japan deal, Vince knew that three Japan dates ended up meaning losing his prize champion for 9 days a month with travel to, the day of, and travel back. With the WWF running roughly 6 days a week, 5 weeks a month, that is a total of 30 days… and then losing their champion for 9 of those could hurt gates. Vince decided to pull the trigger and let it happen which has then shocked many of those involved in the WWF and the wrestling world. One change has also happened outside of the spectrum… television tapings. If you noticed, today’s television tapings started on Monday with Prime Time being the first show taped rather than the last as it was before. Prime Time opened with Gorilla and Jesse talking about Flair winning the title unbeknown to some fans in attendance. The WWF’s handling of this situation is paramount over the next couple of weeks, especially with Hogan being gone as much as he will be. With the title out of his hands is this a chance for Hogan to test the market and book himself however he wants outside his Japanese dates? Will he get back in the good graces with McMahon and the WWF? Will he hold the title again? With Flair as champion and new ACE of the company, these are some serious questions that will need to be answered and time will be the only thing that can tell us if and when they are.

It was the Massacre of Hulk Hogan and his historic WWF Championship run. He and Ric Flair put on a 28-minute classic that gave us just a taste of what these two could do inside the ring. It looks like Hogan was going to make a historic comeback after Flair worked his knee over in the worst way… but then it all turned. It was first Windham, then Blanchard, and Anderson who all come in but they were beaten away by Hogan. It was all foil though as it was Bobby Heenan who gave the final blow by handing something to Ric Flair and when Hogan turned around it was lights out. Hogan went down, instantly bleeding from the head. Flair covered him and got the 3-count and the crowd was shocked. Heenan stood triumphant with the WWF Heavyweight Champion of the World… Ric Flair!
