  1. My bracket is shot... but what an awesome first round. Great stuff man... very creative on the finishes which can be very difficult!
  2. Well Slick got the Russians... Hart got Power and Glory. It was a confusing turn of events but hopefully good for all involved.
  3. Make whatever correction you think needs to be made on that thread and I'll take it into account when we finalize everything.
  4. WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 4/28 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium -Prime Time opens this week with a limo arrival of the Horsemen and they are dressed to the nines with some gold and some mysterious women… Heenan says this will be a night to remember… we cut inside the arena with Jesse and Gorilla putting over the big card including a special singles match between two tag team competitors! Right now we have tag team action from one of the up and coming teams in the WWF… the Rockers! The Rockers vs Barry Horowitz & Steve Lombardi -A pretty solid outing for Marty and Shawn tonight as they put on a nice contest with two good hands. Nothing spectacular but it is the after match shenanigans that make this one interesting. During the contest we hear Jimmy Hart come into the scene and he is with Valentine & Honky along with his new team… Hercules and Paul Roma… The Rockers hit a double dropkick and get the win but this is just getting started… -Hart is putting over the big tag title match this week on Superstars. He says that when all is said and done he will have all the right pieces to win the tag titles either with Valentine & Honky or with his newest team… Hercules and Paul Roma… THE POWER AND THE GLORY! They all pump up the big signing but the Rockers don’t seem to be impressed. They come over to the set and put over how Roma and Hercules have been ducking them and if they want to prove to everything they are a real team… the Rockers challenge them to a match this week on Challenge! Hart accepts and just like that his weekend got that much more full! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the Harts as the tag champs and the strong tag team division. Tonight we’ll see two tag wrestlers in singles action! We see the Bulldogs come out and they cut a promo on Demolition, Muraco, Sika, and Mr. Fuji. They put over how Andre the giant is hurt right now and had a broken arm. They know that Andre will be back when the time is right and there is no doubt that Sika will pay. We then see Dino Bravo come out and join the Bulldogs and says he isn’t 100% but he will be there for them tonight when they need it! Davey Boy Smith vs Demolition Ax w/ Mr. Fuji -Lots of chaos to start this one before officials come out and reprimand everyone to the back. Muraco, Smash, Sika, Dynamite, and Bravo have to go but Fuji stays and we see a great contest here for about 9-minutes. Some may remember Ax being a great singles star and he shows off some ability here tonight while Davey Boy can handle his own. We see Ax control most of the contest but Davey Boy fights back until he hits the ropes and Fuji NAILS him with the cane! This gives Ax a chance to roll him up with a handful of tights for the 3-count and the crowd is irate! Fuji and Ax get out of dodge while Davey Boy holds his back in pain! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back and we see footage from this past weekend in which Jimmy Hart and Slick exchanged some money and talent. Jimmy Hart got Power and Glory while Slick got some money and with that money he did this… Slick: Well let me tell you something Go-Rilla Monsoon…. I have traveled the world to find the biggest and the baddest. This man right here (One Man Gang) is going to be the one to bring the hammer down my man and brother he can do it to anyone that he wants. You are going to see that tonight but you see…. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a little gold brutha… and with that I wanted to put together a tag team that meant business! I wanted to put a tag team together that struck fear into the hearts of every man, woman, and child who saw em. When my man Jimmy Hart and I traded some talent for some money… well brutha I put that money to work and I decided to get me a little IMPORT action if you will. So tonight… I introduce to you… two men who are bigger and badder than any tag team in wrassling… Nikolai and Boris… the RUSSIAN ASSASSINS! -Out walk Boris Zhukov and Nikolai Volkoff and they look pretty good here. They get a good ooo and aaaahhh from the crowd as Slick puts them over in a big way. We then cut to the ring for our six-man tag main event... Tonga Kid, Jim Powers, & SD Jones vs The Russian Assassins & The One Man Gang w/ Slick -Pretty great showing here from the Russians who are some pretty decent hands in short bursts. We get to see them beat the shit out of Jones and Powers pretty good. Tonga Kid is able to hold his own a little bit but nothing doing when the One Man Gang gets involved and really starts to wear him down! The finish sees the Russians grab Jim Powers. Boris holds him on his shoulders for a powerslam and then Nikolai comes off the middle rope with an elbow to the back of the neck and then the Boris Powerslam for the 3-count! Then we see the Russians really start to put the boots to him but out of the back comes Bull Ganter and the Bull is hot! He comes out and rips away his shirt asking for a fight with the Gang but nothing doing. These two have a lot of history and my oh my they could get it on right now but the Gang smirks and backs up.When will these two clash and what will happen when they do?!?! *COMMERCIAL* -We are back on Prime Time and Jesse and Gorilla build it up as we hear the music. First we see Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard walk out followed by Bobby Heenan and Intercontinental Champion Barry Windham. Then we see a spotlight on the entryway as Ric Flair emerges with two beautiful women… -Gorilla and Jesse put over Flair’s arrival with the rest of the Horsemen. Gorilla is going nuts about the circumstances of how the title changed hands. Jesse is too busy putting over the beautiful women. We hear Heenan announce that the women are Sherri and Angel. He puts over how they are the personal secretaries of the Horsemen and will be dealing with some of the ins and outs of being champions and the top talent in the world. Heenan says he will have his hands full managing the careers of the top four wrestlers in the world but with their help it will be done. We then hear from each of the Horsemen… Arn Anderson: We told you it wouldn’t take long. We told you that the time was come. Well the time is now… the place is here… the Horsemen have arrived. We came here to get the World Title and we’ve got it! Now… it is all about the fixings. With the World Title and the IC title… there are two left…. The tag titles… Hart Foundation… we know you’ve got your hands full… but they are about to get overloaded…. Because we’re coming! Tully Blanchard: That’s right Arn… you see it is all about the fixings right now. Look at Sherri… look at Angel… haha… it doesn’t get any better. Like Double A said… Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart… you better understand that the target on your back just got that much bigger. I almost feel naked out here… but I have got an Angel on my arm so it is okay… but my waist… my waist wants some gold and the gold you two have is the gold we want and we are on the hunt! Barry Windham: You know just a couple of months ago I sat there and looked around and saw a couple of guys fighting for a coming good. We called ourselves a “Family” but we were not joined like this unit. Bobby Heenan and I spoke and we talked about putting this together… bringing in the Horsemen… and it was at Hogan’s expense which makes it that much better. Now on to my business… Randy Savage… you my friend have been that thorn on my heel. I have picked you out but somehow stepped on you again. Well Savage I have stepped on you for the list time and now I squish you. I am sick and tired of hearing you complain about this and that… I have beat you on the grandest stage… I have taken your crown... I have taken your title… and all that is left will be your dignity. When the Horsemen and I are done with you there will be nothing left. Ric Flair: I stand here a man… with money… with women… with the best friends in the world… a man with the most prestigious title… but I don’t have it all. There is one thing left that I need. Hulk Hogan… I told the world that I would take this title and I did it. I told the world I would humiliate you and I did it. Now… I am telling the world that I am going to run you out of the WWF forever… but the best part is Hogan… you don’t get a shot at this (holds up title)! HAHA! You signed the dotted line… you accepted the match… you lost it…. And now you never get the chance at the title again! The Horsemen are on top of the world and there is no one… and I mean no one who can get in our way! WOOO! -The crowd then pops as we see Tito Santana walk out! -Tito walks right up to the Horsemen. Gorilla says he is the number one contender for the WWF Championship and he is face to face with Ric Flair… Ric Flair: Listen there Chico… before you say something… just know that we may be the best dressed men in the business but we will pounce on you like a piece of meat in a second if you say the wrong… Tito Santana: Why don’t you just shut up right there! -The crowd pops as Flair puts the title down and takes off his coat… Tito Santana: Now since you have come to the WWF you have pushed people around. You have made your presence known…. But you need to know that there are some of us who don’t care about these thugs around you! There are some of us who aren’t afraid to stand up with you… face to face and fight you for the title right there! Ric Flair: Well pal…. By hook or by crook you get your shot at SNME… but know that it will be your one and only shot and if you say something else… you are going to be in a world of… Tito Santana: Hurt? You gonna put me in a world of hurt Flair? I don’t think there is one thing you could do without those guys around you and that made me think that perhaps I needed some back up. Perhaps I needed someone to help me out. Ric Flair: There is no one dumb enough to come out here and help you pal… Tito Santana: That may be what you think… but I know the people here in St. Louis know you Flair… they know your past… and they know this man… -THE CROWD EXPLODES WITH WAHOO MCDANIEL! Wahoo is here and he walks up next to Tito Santana and Flair is going nuts! Wahoo doesn’t say much but he is staring Flair down. Flair is ranting and raving right now as the Horsemen are holding him back. This is pure chaos!
  5. I haven't made his roster yet.... we're working through those details on PM.
  6. What are you talking about here? The NWA voted that I'm not allowed to join yet. Yeah we moved that to pm no worries.

  11. I could do a Southwestern promotion. Pm me and we'll work out details
  12. I know we don't have anything completely formal but I would say stick around for the next week or two give some feedback see if we can come up with a solid list to hook you up with the start. Do you have any idea what kind of a promotion you would like to run? I know we could jump you right in if you wanted to do Mexico or even the idea of doing the southwestern promotion and Us Talent. If you were looking at just a US promotion it would take a little mix and match with the individuals that we have right now but it could be done.
  13. I also like this Chris Adams storyline. I know the Gino died I wasn't sure what I could do with him and you have taken him to a new level. That is awesome and the best part is that everyone wants to see what is going to happen next. When it happens it will be something but the story after the climax is going to be really special. I am really hoping that Spiveymania can find its way back to the top at some point but Piper isn't having that shit.
  14. Just an all around spectacular show! I of course loved seeing Sting win and now I need to find a way to bring that back into the WWF fandom... perhaps someone had a handheld. All around through, your presentation is spectacular and the pictures from the games just make it that much better. Awesome stuff from Japan!
  15. WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 4/21 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Worcester, MA - Centrum Prime Time opens this week with footage backstage at the Boston Garden. We see video of Ric Flair celebrating with Bobby Heenan… we don't see anything from the match just the celebration... We then cut to Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura who put over the amazing news that Hulk Hogan lost the WWF Championship last night in Boston. Gorilla doesn’t believe that the title change will stand due to the blatant interference from the Horsemen. Jesse says that the title is with Flair now and there is nothing that Hogan can do about it! Gorilla says that Flair will be here next week and we will hopefully have word from Hulk Hogan this weekend on Challenge or Superstars… they put over the return of Bad News Brown to the WWF and here we go! Jim Powers vs Bad News Brown -Bad News is back and does a decent job here against Job Powers… I mean Jim Powers. Decent enough contest with the Judo toss and then an Arm Bar for the finish. Jesse puts over how Bad News was a world class judo expert and he has shown it off here tonight. We cut to the booth where we see Sting with Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura. He puts over his world travels and talks about going to Europe and Japan to wrestle some of the best talent in the world. He says that you don’t have to look any further than the WWF for the best talent and the Stinger will prove it! *COMMERCIAL* We return to Prime Time and hear Gorilla and Jesse putting over the Hart Foundation and how they retained the tag titles in the cage at MSG. We then see Jimmy Hart come out with Valentine & Honky… he puts over how in two weeks Honky and Valentine will get a chance at the tag titles and he plans on making some big moves in the tag team division and getting the titles back where they belong! The Hart Foundation vs The Dark Patriots (Thompson & Champion under hoods) -The Harts look fantastic tonight against the Dark Patriots who are VERY VERY GREEN but know how to take an ass whooping. We see the Harts hit the Hart Attack and that’s all she wrote. They walk over to Gorilla and Jesse… -The Harts put over the cage match last week against the Fabs that sent them packing. They said they will take on all comers and will accept all challenges. Jesse brings up the team of the Demolition, he talks about Valentine & Honky, and also heard rumblings about Slick purchasing a new team. The Harts say they accept all comers and will put the titles on the line every night of the week and twice on Sunday! Randy Savage will be here when we get back! *COMMERCIAL* Randy Savage joins Gorilla and Jesse when we return as they put over a plethora of topics. Randy talks about losing the title at Mania and how he is vowing to get the gold back into his hands before too long. We then hear him put over some of the talent coming into the WWF but has choice words for the Horsemen… Randy Savage: Yeah you know there is a lot of top talent coming into the WWF right now and uhh yeahh…. You look up and down the line from top to bottom and the names that pop out are the Horsemen. Yeah. So let me get this straight… uhh… Bobby Heenan ditches his own family and bets everything on Windham. When he wins he kicks the Family to the curb and bets everything on Hulk Hogan and he wins… then Heenan signs three Horse’s asses… I mean Horsemen to contract and now we have got a strange smell around here. Huh? Yeah we have got a sense of something that isn’t quite right. I was in the Boston Garden last night. I saw it go down with Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan and brother… I smell not a horse… but a RAT! Perhaps it was a weasel RAT because that’s what I saw. Let’s put it this way… I don’t think that Bobby Heenan would be able to make it through a metal detector huh? Yeah. You see what I am talking about? Huh? Barry Windham… I will give you the due brother… you put me down twice this year… once was by crook and the second was by hook but brother don’t you think for a moment you will be able to do it again. You see… huh… yeah… you see I am going to do everything I can to get that contract signed and when I do… ohhh when I do there will be no count out… there will be no disqualification… there will be no time limit… and for you there will be no survivial. DIG IT! -Before break we cut back to a couple of weeks ago and the injury of Andre the Giant at the hand’s of Sika. “This draws out Andre the Giant who comes out to a huge pop. He is answering the call of Sika and Fuji and comes to settle the score. He fights off Demolition and Muraco before grabbing Sika who fights with him for a moment. Then we see Muraco and Demo jump back on and they Andre tied into the ropes and start working him over good. Fuji slides in a chair and they are wrecking it into Andre’s arm! He is writhing in pain! Gorilla and Jesse are going wild! Sika then runs and NAILS Andre’s arm again and he is hurt bad here but here comes the Bulldogs and Dino! They come to thwart off this attack but the damage is done. Andre is holding his arm and shoulder back up the rampway… this is trouble for the big man!” *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the big injury to Andre and what this could mean for his career. Jesse puts over how Andre has bigger bones and when they break they take longer to heal… this could perhaps be the straw that breaks the camel’s back… HAHA! Mr. Fuji comes out with his men and they all put over the next contest as we have a premiere six-man match coming up. MAIN EVENT Dino Bravo & The British Bulldogs vs Don Muraco & Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -This one gets a little time as we have seen some issues amongst these men for the last couple of weeks. Almost a WrestleMania rematch if you will but a different story is being told. We see Bravo and Muraco face off in a fun little back and forth while the Bulldogs and Demolition showcase their abilities. The match ends up being a wash when Sika comes out from Fuji’s guise to jump into the ring and attack Bravo! He starts to choke him in the corner and the referee calls for the bell. We see Demolition subdue the Bulldogs and then try to back Sika off to no avail. The big guy is uncontrollable and dangerous. -Jesse and Gorilla put this through the roof as we close out the show with Sika being a mad man and Bravo seemingly coughing up blood from the internal injuries as we go off the air... 16. WWF NEWS -Last night many consider the biggest match in the history of professional wrestling occurred at the Boston Garden. It was Ric Flair challenging Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship. The match was quite entertaining for what it was worth with these two bringing out the best in one another but showing that there were some odd moments to get the chemistry. For 28-minutes, the WWF fans of Boston got to see a different side of Hulk Hogan… one that many hope will stay. He worked a great match using his Japanese repertoire while Flair played the chicken and did a lot of cat and mouse. When it came time for Flair to work the knee he did… he did it in such a manner that Hogan looked as though he would never be able to walk again. This match really gave us a taste of what these two could, should, and hopefully will be able to do in the future… then the ending came. Just as Hulk Hogan was making the comeback of a lifetime, seemingly impervious to pain, the Horsemen struck. It was Anderson, Blanchard, and Windham all coming down and each of them getting their comeuppance by Hogan but it was the attack outside of view by Heenan that made the difference. Heenan seemingly handed something to Flair who got up and clocked Hogan right between the eyes… bloodying up the champion before Flair could make the cover and chance the scope of professional wrestling. Now the question is how in the hell did this happen and why did it happen so quickly? Early in February negotiations began with Ric Flair to come in… while on the other side of the coin Hulk Hogan heard about this and then began his own negotiations with Japan. Hogan got the okay from Vince to go over but the deal ended up being more lucrative than he could imagine with two dates a month on top of merchandising in Japan that differs from the WWF deal. Hogan’s major money comes from what people buy of his and his attraction in Japan is growing and growing the more he is there. When the Flair deal went through, Hogan went ahead and signed his Japan deal but it wasn’t the same as what Vince had though and it was Hogan who signed on for 3-dates a month with some heavy kickbacks. Vince decided he wanted to bring in Flair and have he and Hogan tease their confrontation only to build to a bigger event… then that changed. When Hogan signed the Japan deal, Vince knew that three Japan dates ended up meaning losing his prize champion for 9 days a month with travel to, the day of, and travel back. With the WWF running roughly 6 days a week, 5 weeks a month, that is a total of 30 days… and then losing their champion for 9 of those could hurt gates. Vince decided to pull the trigger and let it happen which has then shocked many of those involved in the WWF and the wrestling world. One change has also happened outside of the spectrum… television tapings. If you noticed, today’s television tapings started on Monday with Prime Time being the first show taped rather than the last as it was before. Prime Time opened with Gorilla and Jesse talking about Flair winning the title unbeknown to some fans in attendance. The WWF’s handling of this situation is paramount over the next couple of weeks, especially with Hogan being gone as much as he will be. With the title out of his hands is this a chance for Hogan to test the market and book himself however he wants outside his Japanese dates? Will he get back in the good graces with McMahon and the WWF? Will he hold the title again? With Flair as champion and new ACE of the company, these are some serious questions that will need to be answered and time will be the only thing that can tell us if and when they are.
  17. WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: Providence, RI – Civic Center Featuring: Demolition, The Rockers, Bull Ganter, Jim Powers, & The Honky Tonk Man -Heenan also went nuts putting over the big WWF Championship Match tomorrow night in Boston with Ric Flair challenging Hulk Hogan. -We also get news that Andre the Giant has suffered a broken arm at the hands of Sika! He will be out of action! Ric Flair: Hulk Hogan! I told you big man that I was coming and pal I am here. Tomorrow night in Boston Mass… brother I am coming for you and I am coming for that World Title! Never before and never again Hogan… tomorrow night that title comes to the REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION and there is nothing that you can do about it. I am going to push you to the limit and show you why I am without a doubt the MAN in this business. Hogan a lot of people talk about your size and strength but just like Muhammad Ali… I am going to rope a dope you for 59-minutes pal and in that final moment when you have lost it all… I am going to put you down and raise my hand high and put the belt right here around my waist where it belongs! He will be out of action! Hulk Hogan: Ric Flair everyone is talking about the match that we’ve got tonight in the Boston Garden dude and it is going to be a once in a lifetime contest. I am going to come out there with all of my Hulkamaniacs by my side and they will keep those Horsemen at bay. But understand this Ric Flair… you call yourself the sixty-minute-man but I know your weaknesses. I know you can’t handle the power and strength of the 24-inch pythons and when they wrap around you and start to choke you down and out it is going to be over for you… over for Bobby Heenan… and over for the Horsemen brother! It was the Massacre of Hulk Hogan and his historic WWF Championship run. He and Ric Flair put on a 28-minute classic that gave us just a taste of what these two could do inside the ring. It looks like Hogan was going to make a historic comeback after Flair worked his knee over in the worst way… but then it all turned. It was first Windham, then Blanchard, and Anderson who all come in but they were beaten away by Hogan. It was all foil though as it was Bobby Heenan who gave the final blow by handing something to Ric Flair and when Hogan turned around it was lights out. Hogan went down, instantly bleeding from the head. Flair covered him and got the 3-count and the crowd was shocked. Heenan stood triumphant with the WWF Heavyweight Champion of the World… Ric Flair!
  18. I love the ending of the Abby match and talking about the fans. I know in listening to Ric Flair's shoot interview he goes in depth about that. You are painting a very good picture of PR and I know for an individual like myself it is getting me more interested to see exactly what was going on down there.
  19. Hacksaw is coming in in a HUGE way already. Great to see him getting the kind of a push. On the other side of the coin... how hard the mighty have fallen in regards to Backlund. Obviously your booking is sound but he just doesn't have the luck tonight... hopefully he does in the future.
  20. Terry Gordy has been a monster in the NWA... but he falls here tonight. Something is fishy with that. He is honestly a guy who can be pegged to be next in line but not so much tonight.
  21. I like seeing Ole down here doing some work. He has legs in the NWA and can still be a prime time player if used the right way. I also agree with the ideas of Nikita and Martel and also Butch Reed. You've got some stories to be told here for sure.
  22. As someone who has wrestled in a bar... and done a spot on top of the bar... I have a great appreciation for that spot and the finish for the Nasties... great stuff.

  25. WWF Live New York City, NY – Madison Square Garden Hosted by Gene Okerlund & Lord Alfred Hayes The Rockers vs Hercules & Paul Roma w/ Slick went to a double count out Curt Hennig defeated The Honky Tonk Man w/ Jimmy Hart Bad News Brown defeated Barry Horowitz Bull Ganter defeated the One Man Gang w/ Slick via DQ Nikolai Volkoff w/ Slick defeated SD Jones WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © defeated Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -After a great 18-minute contest that showed why Greg Valentine is really one of the unsung workers in the world of wrestling we got the moment that everyone has been waiting for. It was Ric Flair face to face with Hulk Hogan. Hogan had won the contest; he was drenched in sweat; and he was posing for his fans. Then Flair came out dressed in a custom suit and stood right up to Hogan. Flair had to look up at the champion but Hogan was staring down through Flair. They said a couple of things to one another in the ring but this was all just to set up the Horsemen, Tully, Arn, and Barry getting on the apron ready to pounce. Flair pointed his finger right in Hogan’s face and Hogan slapped it down as the crowd got excited. Hogan then laid the title on the ground and challenge Flair before the Nature Boy backed off and the Horsemen did the same. They backed off up the aisle into the darkness of MSG and the crowd got a glimpse of what was to come. MAIN EVENT CAGE MATCH JIMMY HART HANGING ABOVE THE RING TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © vs The Fabulous Ones -The excitement of the previous angle built the anticipation of this big main event. The Harts and Fabs knew they had something to prove and they went out for a 15-minute bloodbath. With Hart above the ring the crowd was going wild for this one from start to finish and all four men got busted open one way or another. First it was Kiern and Lane from bouncing off the steel and then we saw Bret hit a gusher that was all over the ring. The Anvil got busted after Jimmy Hart dropped a chain down into the ring and the Fabs used it to open him up. The eliminations occurred when Neidhart was actually pushed out of the door by the Fabs to get the 2-1 advantage. They beat Bret within an inch of his life and worked the fans into a frenzy. Then we saw both Fabs try to go up the cage but Bret Hart found a way to get up there and stop Lane. Kiern made his way down and hit the floor but Bret grabs Lane and hit a PHENOMENAL SUPERPLEX OFF THE CAGE and the crowd was stunned! We then heard a silent but growing “Let’s Go Bret!” chant start to reign throughout the arena and both men slowly, covered in blood, climbed up the side of the steel and when they got to the top they threw some right hands but then Bret grabbed Lane and smashed his head on the top of the cage… Lane fell and crotched himself on the ropes and Bret started to go over the top. Kiern tried to run and stop him but the Anvil came out of nowhere and hit a shoulder block sending him flying. Bret fell to the floor and he and the Anvil held the titles high in the air. This was an amazing moment on a monumental night.
