Pretty good write up and detail here for your first outing. You've taken that roster and turned it around in a good way so far. Consistency and writing along with some creativity will keep it up.

If he's not already booked... I will take Denis Stamp to fill in a hole.

Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling July 1986
LowBlowPodcast replied to SirEdger's topic in Promotions
Lutte continues to be a wild card here with anything happening every night of the week. This Kokina vs Gang feud has got me going especially because I always loved seeing matches like that between two huge dudes... hell my favorite six-man is from Summerslam 1989 with Demo and Duggan vs the Towers and Andre! -

I really like the follow up to the Bash and I personally like the pairing of Bull and Dusty. If you go back and look at Bull... he was pretty hot in Florida and Dusty is a Florida guy. It works in this world we've created. You look at how some people are pushed by others and angles that are criticized... I don't know how you can say that Bull isn't ready for primetime. That dude was in a high profile match at WrestleMania... he won a huge battle royal on NBC and Saturday Night's Main Event... fuck what he did in the real world he is something in the world we've created and I am glad you will give him a chance to do something more here than I was able to do. That's the point of what we're doing with this whole project in the first place. -
Gosh you've got SO much going on here and everyone has said it all with WWC and just how vital it is to the NWA right now. I love Owen winning the title as he is one I have enjoyed following down here in WWC. The Von Erich and Funk match was also a highlight for me as they are almost Gaijin down in PR which is something I always like to see. I can imagine seeing some huge heat for the Nikita contest only to be followed up by Colon and Abby. Funny story... I started a 1980 TEW game and in the game Carlos Colon died in June of 1980 and I just thought about what the world of wrestling would look like if he had died at that time. Could someone else take his place to make PR as big as it was? Does Brody ever go down there to be murdered? Some really interesting stuff in regards to Colon's place in history.

I really liked that Jarrett angle with Dr. Death. Good stuff there. I agree with others that JYD has become a true force here at a time in the real world that he was a big time babyface in the WWF but definitely losing his spot due to gaining his shape. Great reveal with Ole... I believe we had an angle here early on in the game with Greg Valentine being a russian that rivaled this. I like the role that the UWF takes in the NWA and with the second half of the year in front of us... Magnum TA has got some high hopes and tall mountains to climb in Mother Russia to get that tile!

http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=198607040NYN WWF Presents: Showdown @ Shea II July 4th 1986 SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH Tony Atlas & the Rockers vs Big John Studd and Power & Glory w/ Jimmy Hart -This is the first chance the Rockers have to get their hands on Roma and my oh my does this one have some heat. Roma is garnering it all and he looks to be loving it. Inside the ring we’ve got a good 13-minute contest and we see the heat of the Rockers and P/G but also the strength match up of Atlas and Studd. Big John looks like he is in prime form here and looks good in the ring. The highlight is seeing the Rockers double dropkick him out of the ring to the floor. We see Jimmy Hart trying to get involved but nothing doing as the Rockers nail him. The finish sees Atlas and Hercules fighting outside of the ring. Inside the ring we see Marty Jannetty take a disgusting clothesline from Studd in which he does a huge flip that pops the crowd. That sets up Roma to come off the top with the flying body splash for the 3-count! Roma, Herc, and Studd have got some heat here with the crowd as they move up the aisle and work the crowd! TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Curt Hennig © vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji -A first solid outing for Curt Hennig as the TV Champion. This one has got a 20-minute time limit. These two go about 16-minutes. Much like their previous match we see Hennig play the face in foil in such a big way. He looks as though he is just about to be out of it and then he fights back with a great passion. This time we see Don Muraco going for the big tombstone but this time Hennig jumps over the back and the ducks a clothesline before hitting Muraco with a NASTY European Uppercut which wobbles him before Hennig grabs him for the Northern Lights Suplex for the 1…2…..3!!! Hennig holds the title high in the air and celebrates with some fans! Sting & Warrior - The Blade Runners vs Los Conquistadors -Who in the world is this guy?!? Sting and the Warrior come out looking JACKED and they beat the piss out of Los Conquistadors! They use some press slams and huge clotheslines to put things of tilt and then finish things off with a Warrior overhead press slam and then Sting off the top rope with a splash for the 3-count!! The crowd is going wild for these two face-painted badass dudes! Billy Jack Haynes vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -Greg Valentine is working his way back through the ranks and he really looks strong here. The crowd is behind Billy Jack who fights back but just doesn’t have the best momentum right now. The Hammer is rocking a new little shin guard and we see him flip it around before coming full board and just destroying Billy Jack’s skull with a shin kick! Billy Jack is busted wide open while the Hammer pins him with a handful of tights for the three count! TEXAS TORNADO MATCH The British Bulldogs vs Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -This one has been building for quite some time and with Texas Tornado rules all hell breaks loose. These guys are all over the ring and the outside area. Smash and Ax both go against Davey and Dynamite and all the combinations get the crowd going. We do see Fuji get involved when he trips Dynamite. This leads to Demolition putting him in the ropes and then doubling up on Davey. Dynamite breaks free for the final segment and we see the Bulldogs looking strong and looking to finish. Davey hits the huge powerslam but when Dynamite is up on the top we see Fuji push him off and Dynamite goes flying into the guardrail outside the ring! Davey can’t believe it but here comes Ax with a huge double axe handle smash! Ax and Smash pick him up for a huge double spinebuster and get the 3-count! They are the winners and perhaps the new number one contenders! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Barry Windham © w/ Bobby Heenan -We get into another hot contest here with Savage who comes out in a swank blue and orange outfit for the Mets who were victorious today against Nolan Ryan and the Astros. Windham comes out to a chorus of boos and he looks to be in great shape and steps into the ring with Randy Savage and they go through an amazing 23-minute battle. It starts with Savage being crazed and getting all over Windham before Windham slowing it down and working over the neck and the back. It builds to Savage getting a comeback and looking great before Bobby Heenan gets involved and while Savage is dealing with him Windham takes control again. Windham looks like he is going to finish when he puts Savage up on the top rope for the Superplex and hits it but gloats for just a moment too much before covering him for the 1…..2…..NO! NO! NO! Savage kicks out and the crowd erupts. Windham took too long! He can’t believe it! Now he’s coming with some huge right hands but Savage continues to come back up and the crowd is going nuts! Savage looks at Windham… he’s wide eyed and the veins in his neck are pulsing! He grabs him for some huge shots and it looks like Savage is ready to finish. He even pulls out a huge PILEDRIVER and Windham is down but not out. Savage goes to the top and waits for him to get up and when he does Savage NAILS him with a huge double axe-handle smash! Windham is down and Savage goes up top again for the FLYING ELBOW but Heenan pulls Windham’s leg and Barry rolls out of the ring before Savage can jump. He runs to the other side of the ring and goes up top and flies outside the ring taking out both Heenan and Windham! Heenan is able to duck out of the way just enough to go over to Elizabeth! He is grabbing her arm and here comes Savage to pull him off here before Windham comes out of nowhere with a chair and BAM! He destroys Savage! The referee calls for the ring bell and this one is over and the crowd is not happy! Savage was in a position to win but the chair shot gives him the DQ victory! This is is pure chaos! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2 out of 3 FALLS The Hart Foundation © vs The Russians w/ Slick -We slow things down here for a nice little tag team contest with these two teams These guys go about 18-minutes and have to follow up something special but do an alright job. There is some heat and it really gets going when we see a fun little bit. The Russians bring out these chains and early on in the match they just kill the Anvil. He is in a bad way outside the ring but this also makes the referee call for the bell and awards the first fall to the Hart Foundation via DQ! Bret is out there checking on the Anvil though as he seems to be spitting up some blood from the throat shot with the chain. The Russians then double up and work over the Hitman. They are doubling up on him as the crowd is chanting for the Harts but the Anvil is down and Bret is at the mercy of the Russians! They are working him over and then we see the big finish with Boris holding Bret up in a spinebuster and here comes Nikolai with a big Russian Sickle to the back of the neck and then Boris comes DOWN with the Spinebuster and 1...2….3! The Russians have taken the second fall! They are moments away from the tag titles but the 30-second break is in effect right now. The Anvil is spitting up blood as he climbs up. The Hitman seems to be out in the middle of the ring. Time is running down and the Russians are pining for it and then the bell rings and Nikolai with a flying knee drop and the 1…..2…..the Anvil breaks it up! OMG! Neidhart breaks it up and rolls Bret out of the ring! The Harts are in a bad way and here comes the Russians but the Anvil has got a fight and he’s rocking both of the Russians with some big forearms! The crowd is getting back into it and here comes Boris from behind and now they are doubling up on him but here comes the Hitman and he throws a huge right hand and stumbles Boris! The referee gets control of the contest and they slow it down for a couple of minutes before getting into a very chaotic finish. Slick is outside the ring trying to get control of the referee but here comes Bret Hart with a huge dropkick and Boris flies out of the ring into Slick! Nikolai comes and he nails Bret who goes out of the ring but holds on to the ropes just enough. The Anvil hits the ropes and nails a HUGE FLYING SHOULDER BLOCK on Nikolai! Nikolai nails the turnbuckle and the Anvil picks him up and here comes Bret Hart out of nowhere with the HART ATTACK! 1….2….3!!!! The Harts have won it and retains the titles! Anvil is bleeding from the mouth. Bret is holding his ribs. They both have the titles and that’s what matters. STRETCHER MATCH Andre the Giant vs Sika w/ Mr. Fuji -One of the big ones on the card and what a night it has been. These guys go about 12-minutes… nothing special. Just a big Andre showcase with his aura being a big deal here in Shea. Sika fights him off pretty good but just not enough to be any kind of serious threat. We see Sika work over the arm and get control but then Andre fights back and he knocks him out with the big right hand. The stretcher is laid outside the ring and Andre picks up Sika and then slams him on the stretcher and it breaks as he lands. Andre is the winner and works the crowd. Nothing too crazy but the Giant is a spectacle and worth the ovation. -We see a spectacle of an entrance here as the lights go down a little bit and we hear a thunder as members of the crowd look up and there is a helicopter! It lands in the entry field and out walks Bobby Heenan and he opens the door for Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Angel, and the WWF World Champion… Ric Flair! -The Horsemen get into the ring and the crowd is wild as we see Wahoo and Tito come out to a good ovation but then we see fireworks start to go crazy and REAL AMERICAN hits and this crowd just explodes! With close to 50,000 in the stands and then another 5,000 on the ground and they are all on their feet and Hulk Hogan is running WILD right now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX_k5_egUAo MAIN EVENT SIX-MAN TAG Hulk Hogan, Wahoo McDaniel, & Tito Santana vs Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, & Tully Blanchard w/ Bobby Heenan -This is what they’ve been waiting for and what an entrance by Ric Flair and the Horsemen only to be outdone by the ovation that Hogan gets when he comes out. This is a match that has three different parts. The first being the feeling out process in which Hogan does everything he can to get Flair in the ring but Blanchard and Anderson won’t allow it. We see Wahoo come in and he chops the hell out of everyone until Flair comes in and they start chopping away at each other until Wahoo flips Flair over his head and then Wahoo tags in Hogan but Flair tags out and the crowd is upset. The rest of the first part of this contest sees Tito Santana doing some tremendous work with Anderson and then Flair but he and Tully just tear it up inside that ring. -The second part of the contest sees the pace start to quicken up as the Hulkster gets in the ring and he shows off his strength but nothing crazy. Then we see Wahoo come in and his strength is unmatched. The Horsemen then chop block him and take control. Flair is doing everything he can to rile up the fans and Hogan as he is wooing in his face! Hogan tries to get in but it just serves as foil for the Horsemen who continue to double and triple up on Wahoo as they have complete control of the match… but the fans… they remember the 1964 Jet… they remember Wahoo playing football right here in Shea Stadium and they start to chant Wahoo… Wahoo…. Wahoo…. And the big man is starting to FIRE UP! Wahoo and Flair chop one another but Wahoo gets control and whips Flair into the corner and comes with a huge CHOP! -Wahoo crawls over as Flair tags in Tully and Wahoo tags in the Hulkster who comes in like a house of fire. He is rocking and rolling all over the ring! Tito Santana out of nowhere with a flying forearm on Anderson sending him flying! Wahoo gets to his feet and tackles Tully out of the ring. Ric Flair then slowly gets up and turns around and there he is… the Hulkster! -The crowd is going absolutely wild! Hogan FINALLY gets his hands on Flair with some huge rights and lefts and the fans are going wild with each shot! Anderson and Tully get back in but Hogan is able to fight them off until Flair chops Hogan’s knee! They all attack the knee and Flair then locks in the figure four and Hogan is in a bad way! -Hogan then starts to fight back and the crowd is going absolutely wild! He rolls over and Flair has to let go! He rolls over and here comes Tully to try and finish up the job but nothing doing as we have got a chaotic turn of events here with Wahoo and Tito coming in and pure chaos! When it is all said and done it is Tully who is looking to finish Hogan but Hogan ducks a big clothesline and then Wahoo McDaniel comes out of nowhere with a huge overhead chop on Tully and here comes Hogan with the LEGDROP! 1...2….3!! Hogan and company have won it! They are working the crowd and celebrating while Flair looks to get back in there with Hogan who welcomes him in but the Horsemen retreat. Flair continues to taunt Hogan with the title and someday… somewhere… these two men are going to have to settle this conflict!

He puts over how hard the tournament was but he was tested. He goes back to the King of the Ring tournament. He lays claim that this is a title that will be defended every time he’s on television. He says that he will accept any challenge and face anyone who wants a shot. That brings out Mr. Fuji with Don Muraco. We hear that Muraco is first in line for a title shot this week at the Showdown at Shea II. Muraco says that Hennig got a little too lucky in the tournament but this time he’s fresh and he’s ready to get what is rightfully his! Hennig says he can’t wait and looks forward to putting him down! Jim Powers vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji -Good showcase here for Muraco who looks good in his effort. Powers is able to get some offense in and he looks good for a moment but Muraco with a nasty throat shot and then he turns the tide and takes control. He finishes things off with a nasty tombstone piledriver for the 3 count. Muraco makes the motion for the title and he’ll get his shot this week against Hennig! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and the Horsemen are here. WWF World Champion Ric Flair, IC Champion Barry Windham, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Angel, & Bobby Heenan are live and the crowd is giving them the business. We get a run down from each man as they make their intentions known… Bobby Heenan: I said it from day one and all of you people failed to understand… this is not just a group of men… this is more than a family… more than an army… we are an indestructible unit that cannot be touched by anyone! Hulk Hogan… you came out on top at Saturday Night’s Main Event… or so you think… what you did was show your weakness. You see we’ve pinpointed every little piece of that body and we now have the plan in place. The Showdown at Shea… haha… Hogan… in front of over 50,000 people you are going to fall to the Horsemen. Arn Anderson: Bobby Heenan made it clear and present for everyone to see and understand. SNME is in the past and the future is right here with the Horsemen. The future's right in front of us. Showdown at Shea… 50,000 people in the summer coming to see the best there is in the business of professional wrestling. They call July 4th independence day. Well Hulk Hogan… Wahoo McDaniel… Tito Santana… you day has come. There will be no last ride of Paul Revere. There will be no grandstand by George Washington. You are going to be facing the irresistible force and immovable object that is the 4 Horsemen! Hogan you saw that we weren’t afraid of you the other night… well come the Showdown… the weakness has been exploited and now you will pay! Tully Blanchard: You know the thing I love about this whole deal is that people from all over the world are going to be in New York on the 4th of July. The baseball game. The fireworks. The Showdown at Shea. The END of Hulkamania! Hogan… if you think for a second you have got the upperhand on us you are mistaken pal. Everyone knows that you learn more from a loss than from a win. Well like we’ve said… it is pin point and we are coming for you. But Wahoo and Tito… don’t think we haven’t forgot about you. Don’t think for a minute Tito Santana that i haven’t thought about wiping that dumb looking face of yours across the guardrail! In fact… I Am going to put it on the line right now… Tito Santana… I am going to put you down and I am going to wreck that pretty little face of yours pal. You won’t be able to show your face and not even your mother will recognize you! Barry Windham: Speaking of faces did you guys see Elizabeth checking me out? Huh? She wanted to come and be with the King… she wanted to be with the Champ… Randy Savage… when are you going to learn pal. I keep putting you down but you find a way to get back up. Well I guess that at the Showdown at Shea… with the title on the line… it is the final nail in your coffin pal. I am going to finish you once and for all and there will be no REMATCH! Ric Flair: When you look at your television screen right now you see two of the premiere tag team wrestlers and singles wrestlers in the world. You see one of if not thee most beautiful woman in wrestling. You see the smartest manager. You see the King of the Ring. You see the Intercontinental Champion. And you see thee UNDISPUTED WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Hulk Hogan… you can’t say that. Randy Savage you can’t say that! Tito Santana you can’t say it! Wahoo you can’t say it! None of you can and there’s a reason… it’s because you are not a Horsemen. Flair takes a moment to work the crowd and then comes back… Ric Flair: I am going to lay it on the line right now. You ever watch a high stakes poker game and you see all the top players in the world… well you’re looking at em. We may lose a hand here a hand there… but Hulk Hogan… Randy Savage… and anyone else in our way… you better damn well know that the Horsemen ride together and we die together and when it comes to the game we will play the game. We will play it until all is said and done. The problem being you may put one of us down but there’s no way you can put us all down. We’re going to keep coming. We’re going to dog you right out of this business pal and remember one thing… Diamonds are Forever… and So are the 4 Horsemen! WOOOO!!! They work the crowd and look great. The Horsemen are alive and well and they’ve got a big week ahead of them. Can Hogan and his buddies find a way? Can Savage find a way? Gorilla and Jesse really pump up the tag team division and put over some new tams that will be coming on the block. They put over Sting’s new team… the Harts… Demolition… the Russians… the Bulldogs. Anything can happen plus we’ve got Power and Glory and the Rockers… We’ve got a huge showcase coming up now as we head to the ring! Hercules, Smash, & Nikolai Volkoff vs Shawn Michaels, Davey Boy Smith, & Bret Hart -Big time main event with a lot of star power. The fun part about it is the dynamic. The babyfaces are actually working well together but it is the heels who are losing track. It starts outside the ring with some of the managers as Slick and Fuji are not working well with one another based off the 8-man last week. They start rumbling and then Smash and Nikolai start jaw jacking. The finish sees Shawn Michaels fly over the top rope and splash Hercules. Inside the ring Smash nails Nikolai with a huge elbow smash and goes out of the ring and Nikolai falls back into Davey Boy who grabs him for a backslide and the 3-count! The babyfaces win here and work the crowd while Smash and Fuji look like they’re ready to fight the Russians! What will happen this week with the Harts and Russians? Who will walk out with the titles? Who will walk out number one contenders between the Dogs and Demo? Can the Rockers get revenge against Power and Glory? Who will be Sting’s mystery partner? WWF Presents: Saturday Night’s Main Event IX Hartford, CT - Civic Center 6/28/86 Ric Flair: Woooo! You are looking at the Prime Time main right here folks… Ric Flair… the one and only WWF Heavyweight Champion. When it comes down to it… there is no better man in the middle of that ring and Wahoo McDaniel… you are going to find that out tonight pal. I am going to dog you tonight in front of millions of people and they will all see… that I am… the Nature Boy and the Real World's Champion! WOOOO! Wahoo McDaniel: I will be honest with everyone right now that this is one of the biggest nights of my career. I don’t think I have ever dreamed of being in the middle of this ring tonight and challenging for the WWF Championship. Ric Flair… you and I have been around the block a time or two and brother I know everything you can bring in that ring. I have talked to a couple of guys and we have got backup if needed… because tonight you are going to have to beat me… because the Horsemen won’t be a factor! Bret Hart: A lot of people out there think that we are hurt or we aren’t able to go… well tonight on NBC… you are going to see just how much HART we have! Jim Neidhart: That’s right baby… tonight… Russians… we are going to expire your visas. HAHAHA! Slick: Don’t hate the players baby… hate the game. Harts you have what my Russians want and brutha… you have what we going to get. Those WWF TAG TITLES… now know this boys… we got your weakness and we know exactly how to exploit it and get exactly what we want… a victory… and those titles… hehe Curt Hennig: This is one of the biggest honors of my life tonight to fight for a title that says you are the best wrestler on television. The World Title and the Intercontinental Title are great titles… they have great champions… but I am going to take the TV Title to that same level… I am going to show the world why I am the best… week in and week out! Greg Valentine: They call me the Hammer for a reason Hennig… I hammer people into submission and tonight I am going to do that same thing to you. You’ve never held a title of this magnitude before… the bright lights are going to get really hot out there… and when you start to sweat just a little too much… I will be there to calm you down with a nice FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Bobby Heenan: Tonight is another great night for the Horsemen… tongiht Ric Flair takes care of that no good Chief Wahoo McDaniel and then Barry, Arn, and Tully all get to decimate Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Tito Santana. Well let me be blunt… you three better head out of dodge right now because tonight the Horsemen are riding and they are looking for blood! Hulk Hogan… you are the biggest target of them all and you may be the one who falls the hardest. HAHA Hulk Hogan: Well it feels great to be back here on NBC for Saturday Night’s Main Event and what better way than to face those stinking Horsemen in an even match. You guys run around attacking people left and right but rarely do you step in the ring with the odds even and fight… well tonight dudes… I have got the madness and the speed behind me and together we are going to Rock and Roll all over youuuuu!!!! -We cut to Jesse and Vince who pump up tonight's huge card. They put over how this is a make or break week for the Horsemen or Hulk Hogan. They wonder who will bend and who will break. They put over the tag titles being on the line plus the conclusion of the TV title tournament. Tonight champions will be crowned and legacies will be created! WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Wahoo McDaniel vs Ric Flair © w/ Angel -Man Angel looks amazing here tonight. She is truly one of the most beautiful women in the sport and she has such a presence about her. Flair and Wahoo come out to great entrances and then we get a great 18-minute match which showcases the best of both men. The WWF fans may have not been ready for the chop fest and both men have chests that are beat red. They work the crowd into a frenzy with Flair working over the leg and then Wahoo fighting back with chops and big time bumps. The final moments see Flair clinging to everything he’s got before Wahoo nails another big chop and Flair goes down. We see Angel get up on the apron here but she doesn’t have any shoes on… what the? Flair has got one of her high heels… Wahoo turns around and Flair jabs it right in his eye! Wahoo flies out of the ring to the floor and Angel jumps down. The referee is counting but has no clue what’s going on with Wahoo who is writhing in pain! He gets to 10 and Flair has won the match via count out! Flair retains the title and the crowd is not happy about it. Flair acts like he won the title again and gloats as the fans let him have it on his way out. Jesse and Vince put this over in a huge way as Wahoo is checked on by the medics! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © vs The Russian Assassins w/ Slick -The return match from a couple of weeks ago but this time it starts off hot and the Harts come in with some big time shots almost leading the Russians to retreat. They go outside the ring with Slick but Bret and the Anvil come out and the fight is on. This is where we get our commercial break. When we return the match has slowed down for a moment but the Russians have control. They are beating down the Hitman something awful with his neck and back the target. The crowd starts to chant for him as he builds back up and again we get another hot tag to the Anvil and he flies in with a shoulder block on Boris! Chaos ensues here for a moment before Bret comes back in and it is 2 on 2. The finish is kind of messy when we see Slick pull out the Russian Chain and hands it to Nikolai and he just DESTROYS Jim Neidhart with it for the DQ! The Anvil goes down hard and we see Nikolai hammering down his back with the chain. The referee tries to stop it but Nikolai chases him off. Bret pulls him back out and the Anvil is hurt. The Harts keep the titles but this one is far from over... SIX-MAN TAG Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, & Tito Santana vs Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, & Arn Anderson w/ Bobby Heenan -A pretty fun six-man here with Hulk Hogan being the shining star of the segment but don’t discount Savage and Tito who are also quite the namesake in there. We get to see Tito do a majority of the work until Savage comes in and he a Tully have an awesome exchange but Savage continues to try and get his hands on Windham who does everything he can to stay out of the way. It all builds to Hogan’s entrance which lights the fans on fire and they start to go nuts. He gets his hands on everyone and the highlight is actually seeing him and Barry Windham go toe to toe. Neither man gives an inch as chaos ensues but the finish is pretty fun. Savage and Windham brawl into the aisleway. Inside the ring we see Tito duck a clothesline from Tully as he goes flying over the top. Arn Anderson is whipped into the ropes for the big boot but stops short only to turn around and have Tito right there with a flying forearm! Here comes Hogan with the legdrop and the 1….2…..3! Hogan and company are the winners and they are going wild here in Hartford! TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS Curt Hennig vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -The one that many have been waiting for gets main event treatment on a card full of talent. These two guys don’t have a time limit. There must be a winner and they start off with some methodical catch as catch can wrestling. We see both men get in some offense and try to one up the other but neither can get the claim. We get a commercial break and then we see the breakdown. It is first Valentine who gets the upper-hand going after the hurt knee of Hennig. The youngster has gone through three grueling matches to get here and now the Hammer is exploiting everyhing he’s gone through. Hennig finds a way to fight back and he looks to have the momentum until Jimmy Hart sneaks his way around and trips Hennig for the Hammer to regain control. Valentine looks like he is going for the finish as he sets him up for it and then locks in the figure four leg lock! Hennig is writhing in pain and doing everything he can to move. Valentine has him in it for almost 3-minutes but it seems like an eternity! Hennig scooches and slides and slithers and SOMEHOW gets to the ropes! The fans can’t believe it as the Hammer tries to pull him back in but Hennig uses his good leg to kick the Hammer in the rear and send him flying! Hennig gets up but he can barely walk! He ducks a big clothesline and then comes back with a couple of nice shots and then a single leg dropkick! He can barely capitolize right now though and the Hammer is able to get back up! He grabs Hennig and gives him a huge suplex! He makes the motion for the figure four and then goes to lock it in but Hennig grabs him and rolls him through for the 1….2...3! Hennig has won it! Hennig has won it! He is the NEW television champion! The crowd is going nuts! -We see Sting, Tonga Kid, the Rockers, and the Bulldogs all run down and hoist him up with the title. The Hammer looks like he’s about to blow a gasket! -Hennig has won it and the fans are going wild. Jesse and Vince put it over in a big way. We are out of time! More to come on Prime Time this week!

I really appreciate all that you put into this show. This was more of a Starrcade than a Great American Bash. This also puts GAB on a standard that will be difficult to follow next year. I personally like the Dibiase v Duggan match in the main event and it reminds me of the 85 Bash with Dusty v Tully as the main with Nikita vs Flair before it. Dibiase has put himself in a position to be THEE man in the NWA. On top of that there are so many other pieces that fit into the NWA puzzle. Orndorff, Race, Snuka, Bundy, and now you've got Bad News in the hunt on a big angle. All of these guys will line up to look at Nikita and see if they can do the unthinkable. The one thing that I would be interested in seeing is more development of the tag team ranks. I'd like to see who will be the next in line to build up for an NWA tag title run. All in all... you have done some tremendous work since you've come in. You've put together a helluva roster. You put on a helluva card. And you have got a helluva future coming up with this crew.

Spectacular card from Ft. Worth... some big time matches and huge results but then the War Games is announced. Gonna be great to watch this unfold and pay off. I like the Kerry v Dr. D stuff and Dr. D has got a renewed push in the world of wrestling right now and he can still be a prime time player in the right position. I like his spot here. The other thing I really like is how Gordy was one of the lumberjacks and then he was in the match. That was classic world class with guys working 2 or 3 spots in a show. Keep doin work buddy! -
I know I picked up Wayne bloom a while ago and I thought Johnny ace was also picked up. Go back and check. He can have Bloom for sure as he was just a jtts.

Very good start. I like the writing style it's easy to follow. Looking forward to when you get things going as you've already got a pretty decent roster to gauge some attention and the opportunity to make some stars. -
Hey guys looks like Awesomemiz is interested in joining up. He will take big time is roster and go to Portland and control it as Don Owen.

That July 4th card definitely goes toe-to-toe with the WWF showdown at Shea card. I have a feeling that Magnum has got a legit shot against Nikita with the belly-to-belly but the Russian nightmare has been running wild all over the world so who knows. A couple of fun gimmick matches to help round out a pretty fantastic event. I think you've got a pretty good group right now with your talent and this should be a turning point to see if they do UWF can carry the load for the NWA.

You went on a pretty good tear of some great shows. I think that you've got a very solid upper part of your card and instead of the Horsemen on top you have now got 6-8 guys who can move in here and there and really play different roles which also adds to the unpredictability of your cards. Ted Dibiase has cemented himself on top while Harley Race is also going for one more great run. Then you've got Orndorff who is a stud and star in the making. Throw in Sunka, Idol, Duggan, Tommy Rich, and even Bundy now all can jump in and be the prime timers of the promotion given their real life and in game experience. -
Thanks for the update Gordi. I have to apologize for my absence as of late. I am currently in the process of doing my +30 for my teacher contract so all my extra typing has gone towards my school work. I will be hopefully finishing that up pretty soon to be able to get back into it. I apologize fellas.

WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: Brantford, Ontario, Canada – Civic Centre Featuring: Sting, The Tonga Kid, Dino Bravo, Demolition, & Randy Savage WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: Brantford, Ontario, Canada – Civic Centre Featuring: Don Muraco, SD Jones, Arn Anderson, & Billy Jack Haynes MAIN EVENT The Rockers vs Hercules & Big John Studd w/ Jimmy Hart -This is a fun match for what it’s worth. The Rockers do some great work bumping for the big guys and coming out of this Studd looks great as he shows off some serious power. The big moment of this one comes with Paul Roma hobbles out on the crutches and when Marty Jannetty is throwing outside the ring we see Roma lift the crutch and just DESTROY Jannetty! Roma then starts kicking him outside the ring and we see Hercules and Studd working over Shawn Michaels inside the ring. This was all a big roose as the referees and officials run out to help this. Pure chaos! WWF Presents: Saturday Night’s Main Event IX - 6/28/86 WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Wahoo McDaniel vs Ric Flair © w/ Angel TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © vs The Russian Assassins w/ Slick SIX-MAN TAG Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, & Tito Santana vs Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, & Arn Anderson w/ Sherri & Bobby Heenan TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS Curt Hennig vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart Announcement for Showdown @ Shea II: July 4th SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH Hulk Hogan, Wahoo McDaniel, & Tito Santana vs Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, & Tully Blanchard INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage vs Barry Windham © STRETCHER MATCH Andre the Giant vs Sika w/ Mr. Fuji TEXAS TORNADO MATCH The British Bulldogs vs Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 6/23 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Providence, RI – Civic Center Prime Time opens up this week with Gorilla and Jesse putting over SNME next week and then the big Showdown at Shea II on July the 4th. One of the premiere matches for that event will be Andre the Giant returning to action to take on Sika. Sika and Fuji come out and put over the big match and Fuji says that what Sika did to Andre’s arm is just the beginning and next he will need a cast for his ENTIRE BODY!! He then puts over the other matches for Showdown including the big tag team texas tornado matchup with the Demolition who are joined by the Russians for our huge eight-man tag team match! EIGHT-MAN TAG The Hart Foundation & The British Bulldogs vs The Russians & Demolition w/ Slick & Fuji -What an event here with Jesse and Gorilla going wild putting this one over. We see all eight-men get involved and chaos does ensue on multiple occasions. The highlight is actually seeing Demolition and the Harts do battle here as they have got some great heat and experience with one another. The finish is one that gets a ton of heat as we see all eight-men get involved. Ax pushes Bret into the corner and he gets just ROCKED with Fuji’s cane and it breaks over the back of his head. Then we see Boris go for the pinfall but Ax pulls him off and he goes but Boris pulls him off. Boris and Ax are arguing until Davey Boy flies from behind with a dropkick and they headbutt one another. Davey rolls up Ax for the 1….2….3!! The Harts and Dogs are the winners as they back out of the ring. Bret is in bad shape right now but he is trying to keep himself up. *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back with Jesse and Gorilla putting over the issue with the Rockers and the Hart Family. We also hear about the big six-man that will go down at the Showdown @ Shea II but no word on who will be joining the Rockers. We also hear from Greg Valentine who looks to secure the Television Title this Saturday against Curt Hennig. He puts over how Hennig may be technically sound but it is the experience of the Hammer that will win him the gold! Big John Studd does some posing here and looks fantastic as we head to the ring for the returning Mr. USA Tony Atlas! Tony Atlas vs Dark Patriot II -A great showcase for the returning Tony Atlas who looks like a million dollars right now… all be it the fading hair on his head. His body looks great and his in ring work is good enough to get the job done here tonight. He does an amazing PRESS SLAM for the victory and works the fans...he joins Gorilla and Jesse. Atlas joins Jesse and Gorilla and here come the Rockers. Tony Atlas puts over how he has been watching John Studd make a fool of himself trying to lift things and break things that don’t hit back. He says he has got two fists and he can bench Big John Studd and Press Slam him out of the earth and he would love to join the Rockers against them at Shea. Marty and Shawn agree and this one is in the books… *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we have got a big time main event tonight as Randy Savage is in line to take on Bad News Brown. Jesse and Gorilla put over the next couple of weeks with the big six-man tag on SNME and then Savage getting his revenge against Windham at the Showdown @ Shea II for the title. Gorilla hopes Savage wins but Jesse wonders if Savage doesn’t… will he ever get another shot? They also put over Bad News Brown as a man who has made a lot of enemies here in the WWF and this will be no different tonight! MAIN EVENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Bad News Brown -A fun main event that gets about 15-minutes. The smaller crew tonight means we have an MSG show as well and what a way to highlight your talent with this big main event. These guys really pull out the stops and even take the brawl outside the ring and work each other over in front of the crowd. Savage is able to get the upper hand and he even nails a big double axe handle smash off the top rope to Bad News outside the ring. The referee continues to count as Savage gets inside and is the winner via count out while Bad News is irate outside of the ring. Savge works the fans as Gorilla and Jesse put over how Hulk Hogan is next! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we see Jesse and Gorilla hyping it up as Mean Gene is in the middle of the ring and here comes Hulk Hogan! Hogan and Gene start to run down the next couple of weeks for the Hulkster. Hulk: Well you know Mean Gene… it all starts this Saturday night brother. You see I have got two of the baddest dudes on the planet backing me up against the Horsemen and they don’t know what is going to happen when Tito Santana and the Macho Man join forces with the Hulkster and we run them into the dirt. The biggest thing though… is that once it is all said and done… we go on to Shea Stadium and there Ric Flair… I finally get to get my hands on you in front of all those fans. I am going to rip you apart… piece by piece and there won’t be anything left for you to even try to defend that title… Just then we see the Horsemen come down the aisle. It is Flair, Anderson, Windham, and Blanchard and they don’t appear to be too happy. Gene Okerlund jumps out of the ring and Hogans rips off his shirt and welcomes them in. the visual is pretty special when the Horsemen start to get up on the apron and then the crowd explodes for Randy Savage, Tito Santana, and Wahoo McDaniel who all run down and join the action. They are welcoming the Horsemen in but Flair and company will have none of that! The visual is from the aisle with Hogan holding the ropes and his men behind him while Flair and the Horsemen look on with the passion of 1,000 fires in their eyes! Gorilla announces that tonight we will hear from the Horsemen but NEXT WEEK… Hulk Hogan will be here on Prime Time and Gorilla expects fireworks. We will also have some comments from Andre the Giant as he prepares for his big match with Sika on July 4th. Right now it is time to get things going with a big tag team contest! The British Bulldogs vs Los Conquistadors -A good opener with these four doing some good work but it is the Bulldogs who set the stage for what will be a hopefully big summer for them. The winner of the Showdown Tornado Tag is said to be next in line for the tag team title shot but at the same time the Russians still have a lot to do with the Harts. We have the Harts out here on commentary putting over the big SNME tag title rematch against the Russians. We hear their takes on all three teams and they put over each as a formidable opponent. The finish for this one sees a powerslam and a diving headbutt for the 3-count! -The Bulldogs walk over and join the Harts. They put over their tag team matches in the coming weeks but then we see Fuji walk out with Demolition and Slick walk out with the Russians. We have some shouting but before too long it is the Hitman who comes out and says that next week the Bulldogs and Harts challenge Demolition and the Russians to an eight-man tag! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back putting over the issue with the Rockers and Power and Glory. We also get to hear a little bit about Tony Atlas’ return to the WWF along with John Studd. We hear about both men’s power and strength. We hear about Paul Roma and his knee injury which could very well cost him his career according to Jimmy Hart... Shawn Michaels w/ Marty vs Hercules w/ Jimmy Hart & Paul Roma -A pretty good contest with Shawn Michaels and Hercules. The speed of Michaels may be the tops in the world right now and Hercules has got power that very few can match. Roma is outside with his knee heavily taped. He is also on crutches to add in to the fact that he could very well be done with the sport. John Studd makes his way out and that is just the beginning break loose. The finish sees Hercules whip Michaels to the ropes but Studd pulls the ropes down and Shawn goes flying. Hercules distracts the referee while Studd pummels Michaels only for Jannetty to run and jump on him. The referee sees all of this as Hercules runs down and we’ve got a brawl outside the ring. The referee calls for the bell as this one is being thrown out. Officials and agents run out to break it up. *COMMERCIAL* We cut to a huge promo for SNME IX and the big WWF Championship match with Flair vs Wahoo. We will also see Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, & Tito Santana take on Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, and Arn Anderson. We’ll see the WWF Tag Team Titles on the line when the Hart Foundation take on the Russians! Plus the finals of the TV Title tournament will be decided. Will Tully Blanchard pull double duty and take on Greg Valentine or will it be the young Curt Hennig coming up with a big win? We then see the promo for the Showdown at Shea II - Doubleheader! We will see a main event match with Hulk Hogan, Wahoo McDaniel, & Tito Santana taking on Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard. Plus we’ll see the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line when Barry Windham defends against Randy Savage! Plus a huge Stretcher Match between Andre the Giant and Sika! We’ll also see a Texas Tornado Tag Match with the British Bulldogs taking on Demolition! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back here with Gorilla and Jesse pumping up the big main event here. The winner of this one punches their ticket to SNME and a shot at the Hammer. Jesse says he would gladly stand in for Tully in the six-man to shut down that chump Hulk Hogan! That could be something fun… here we go! TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT Curt Hennig vs Tully Blanchard w/ Bobby Heenan -This one goes the full 15-minutes and we see both guys really putting on a show. Hennig was the foil of the Horsemen back in February with Barry Windham and soon we see Arn and Barry come out here to join commentary and put over how Tully is going to walk out of SNME with the TV title and a big six-man victory but then they say that if Tully wins Jesse will join them! Tully seems to be focused on the knee and he breaks down Hennig something awful to the point where Hennig doesn’t even look like he can walk. We are getting towards the end of the time limit and Tully says it is time to finish but now Hennig fights back. Hennig is hammering away and Blanchard is staggered! Hennig ducks a big clothesline and then a throat thrust and he picks him up for the Fisherman’s Suplex and nails it but when he goes to bridge he can’t keep his leg up and he crumbles. Hennig is holding his knee and we’ve got little time remaining here. Tully then goes for the slingshot suplex but Hennig kicks out! We have less than a minute remaining… Tully says he’s going for the figure four and he grabs Hennig’s leg but Henig rolls through and grabs Tully for the 1….2….3!!! Hennig has won it and here comes Arn and Tully! They attack Hennig but we see Wahoo and Tito run out to help him. Hennig is in a bad way but now he’s got a chance at the tv title… will he be able to go come SNME?! I like the rub Vader is getting here early on and the 6-man 2/3 falls is something that will pop up on WWF tv sometime soon. Overall pretty good loop here and I have got some high hopes for Larry Z and Sarge coming out of the show in Eugene.
