  3. Pretty good event from Chetwynd. I really like that Tully finish. I also like how you split up your teams for tag matches... shows they aren't one demential wrestlers. Looks like we've got some issues with Adonis... he's got legs to be something special here... I like where it is going.
  4. PR continues to roll with some fantastic story telling. Always interesting to see Colon go down in the main event and have to find a way to fight back. He is a man's man down there which makes it that much more special.
  5. Ann Arbor gets a special night of action headlined by Dan FN Spivey continuing to roll all over everyone. I do have to ask... does this Spivey have a mullet or is it the WM 2 Hogan esq Spivey? I always thought the mullet was the best look for him. The other big piece of the card is Piper and Orton who are set to turn the AWA on its side.
  6. Pretty good television there with some good guys getting some big wins to keep their favor in the UWF. I am a huge fan of Butch Reed so seeing him with the fire is a big deal and I hope bigger things come for him in the future.
  7. WWF Presents: WRESTLEMANIA II Live from the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Illinois MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © w/ William Refrigerator Perry vs Ted Dibiase w/ The Big Bossman INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth vs Barry Windham w/ Bobby Heenan TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation vs The Fabulous Ones © w/ Jimmy Hart GRUDGE MATCH Andre the Giant vs Stan Hansen Plus a $20,000 Battle Royal and much much more!
  8. Big time event in Amarillo and lots to dissect. At the top, I want to see what comes of this Texas Dream now that Dusty is around. Jimmy Jack vs Leatherface is honestly a guilty pleasure to see especially with Texas Death rules. You know I am really big on Studd and he is really on top of the world right now, I hope he continues to shine with some roster movement in World Class. Big time main event... fatal four way... cage.... Schultz has got a real momentum swing right now that we've allowed him to be back in the game... and what a way to capitalize on him. A guy who could run around Texas and be himself... and work his magic.
  9. Been addressed privately to keep from spoilers.
  10. I am all in with the push of Spivey and also Bigelow making waves. The AWA has been a hotbed for new talent and you are showcasing it in a big way to go along with your established top guys.
  11. I will say that the rise of David Sammartino from his WrestleMania match last year to his current status has been one to watch and throughly enjoy as a guy who has seriously done way too much with not that much talent. Looking forward to the 10 man tag with a lot on the line there along with Martel vs Race and Orndorff who is going to set the place a blaze coming in against Bruiser Brody. Top three matches sell the card while we continue to see the builder underneath. Great stuff.
  12. Crockett Cup action doesn't disappoint with some fun angles and matchups throughout the show. Cornett and the Express winning is a HUGE deal within the NWA and puts them at the top of the list in line with the NWA titles. I also echo the sentiment of Nikita being a force in the NWA now... he could very well be the next man in line with Martel and he could walk out with the gold if/when they meet on a big stage.
  13. Love seeing Spivey get some love over here. Makes it worth while to see his star power grow all over. Great stuff with Japan as usual. Love the graphics as well from FPW... The game I suck at.
  14. WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena Prime Time opens with footage from SNME. They put over the beatdown of Andre the Giant, Demolition turning on the Hart Foundation, the coalition with Randy Savage to take on the Heenan Family, and the big main event with Hulk Hogan defeating King Kong Bundy! Jesse and Gorilla put over the night’s action and the big trio of matches all leading to WrestleMania is just a couple of weeks. They said they will have an updated card at the end of the night tonight. We then cut to the ring for our big opening contest with six-man action! SIX-MAN TAG Bull Ganter, Paul Roma, & Jim Powers w/ Superstar Graham vs Hercules, Nikolai, & The One Man Gang w/ Slick -A pretty fun 13-minutes six-man tag with the size and strength of Slick’s Army really coming to fruition. They are showing these guys a thing or two but we get to see the Bull come back in a big way. He is hammering down with some big time shots. The Bull looks great but it just isn’t enough. We see the team of Roma and Powers do some good work but the big moment happens when Jim Powers looks to finish off Nikolai with a dropkick but he moves and Powers NAILS Roma and he goes flying out of the ring. Powers is looking on but here comes Hercules from behind with a full nelson! He is locked up on powers as Bull and Gang are fighting outside the ring. Powers goes up and comes down with a full-nelson slam for the 3-count! Slick and company all get out of there looking strong! We then see another instance of Roma and Powers really arguing! Roma walks off as Powers is trying to apologize but nothing doing. Bull is trying to get them together but this is something. *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we hear from Mr. Fuji who is with Demolition, Sika, and Don Muraco. He puts over his stable and says that they are going to destroy everyone in their path. He says he has signed for Don Muraco to face Randy Savage next week for the Intercontinental Championship and his Demolition will be there to make sure that they walk away with the title! Mean Gene says it has been announced as a lumberjack match right here on Prime Time next week! We’ll hear from Savage later on! Lanny Poffo vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji -A pretty good beatdown from Muraco who has had a lot of victories leading up to this contest next week against Randy Savage for the IC title. Jesse and Gorilla put over the idea of a lumberjack match and how dangerous is can be. They wonder what will happen with all of those arms and legs outside the ring and just who will prevail! Muraco hits the modified tombstone for the victory here tonight! We head back to the booth where we see the British Bulldogs come out. They put over the tag team ranks of the WWF and say that Demolition are a disgrace! They talk about someone turning their back on friends is no one to be trusted and no one to be respected. The Bulldogs say that they will be lumberjacks next week and hopefully they can keep order outside the ring! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back with Randy Savage in the booth with Gorilla and Jesse. They are putting over the big WrestleMania match with Windham. He says that he is amassing an army to take on the Heenan Family! He is coming with everything he’s got to get it done. He then puts over the big Lumberjack match next week against Don Muraco! He says that he has to defend the title but he is going to hold on to it to defend it against Windham and he will not only defend it but regain the crown! Sting & The Tonga Kid vs Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan -A really fun tag team encounter with a very young Sting teaming with The Tonga Kid. They’ve got some speed and strength but Rude and Fernandez are a notch above. Heenan does a masterful job outside the ring and gets Sting’s attention leading to a double team by Fernandez and Rude and a Rude Awakening for a 3-count. Rude and Fernandez win the contest and work the crowd outside the ring while Sting checks on Tonga Kid inside the ring. He looks out to the fans…. Sting leaps out of the ring and lands on Fernandez and Rude! The crowd is going nuts! Agents and officials come out as Sting works the crowd! This guy has got something! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time finishes up this week with Andre the Giant coming out and talking with Jesse and Gorilla. He says that he has signed a contract to take on Stan Hansen at WrestleMania and will show him why he is the one true giant in the sport and he will make sure Hansen feels what it’s like to be in there with a GIANT! The crowd pops for Andre who will be at WrestleMania!
  15. WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena Featuring: The Rockers, Bull Ganter, Sting, The Fabulous Ones, & The One Man Gang WWF Presents: All-American Wrestling Mean Gene Okerlund & Pat Patterson Featuring: Sika, The Bulldogs, Brutus Beefcake, Tito Santana, & Sting! WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena Featuring: The Rockers, Don Muraco, Dino Bravo, Honky Tonk Man, & Sika! WWF Presents: Saturday Night’s Main Event VII 3/1/86 Atlantic City, NJ - Convention Center Ballroom Bobby Heenan w/ King Kong Bundy: Atlantic City baby… tonight right here on the Boardwalk… we deliver the Avalanche to END Hulkamania! That’s right Hogan… I have already phoned Chicago… you won’t be at WrestleMania… you won’t even make it out of Atlantic City tonight! Ted Dibiase w/ The Big Bossman: Haha… I told everyone that I was made of money and I wasn’t lying. I made close to $100,000 today down on the boardwalk. That kind of money is going to go right back to the table when I gamble it all tonight Andre. You may be a giant among men but I am a giant with my wallet and tonight I have got just enough money to shrink you down to size. HAHAH! Andre the Giant: Ted Dibiase… I know you are a dangerous man with you money but tonight no money will save you from me! Manny Fernandez w/ Rick Rude: I can see red right now Randy Savage. When one member of the Family is around… the others are sure to follow and brother we are coming for you! We are coming to put you down! Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth: OHHHH YEAAAAHHHH! Manny Fernandez the ragin bull tonight you step in the ring with the Macho Man dig it! Now I may not be a matador but brother you look into my eyes and you see the red. I am coming for you like a Savage man brother. I am coming for you with the passion of 1,000 fires and they are going to come down on your with the force of an atomic bomb in the form of an elbow drop right through your chest. OHHHHH YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH! Jimmy Hart: I am so sick and tired of hearing everyone talk about Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. Well tonight boys… I am going to make sure you don’t make it out of this match with anything because it may end up being more than you bargained for! Bret Hart w/ Jim Neidhart: I guess Jimmy Hart has a plan for us tonight Anvil and quite honestly, that’s the way we like it. We want you and the Fabs at their best so that we can prove to everyone we are the best tag team. We’ll take those titles and show the world why we’re number one! Hulk Hogan: Well I came up the coast this week and I saw all the waves crashing into the Boardwalk but there was a brisk wind in the air. I saw some snow start to fall and I saw the ice start to form and it made me wonder. Just what would happen if an Avalanche hit Hulkamania. Would I have the power to survive? Would all of the Hulkamaniacs out there be able to hang out? Well tonight King Kong Bundy… I have got some Avalanche insurance and tonight we are going to take care of you and show the world that Hulkamania is the strongest force in the world and can not only withstand anything but will destroy you! Vince: Welcome everyone to Atlantic City and Saturday Night’s Main Event! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Venutra. Jesse, what a night we have in store for the fans right here on NBC. Jesse: Very rarely do you get to see a show this caliber on television McMahon but tonight we have got one for the ages. Vince: It all starts off with the big guy… Andre the Giant taking on Ted Dibiase. Jesse: A classic wrestler vs brawler. I think Dibiase has the smarts to take Andre out and if it isn’t the smarts, I know he’s got the money! Vince: We’ll see about that. Then we have the big eight-man tag! Jesse: I spoke with Jimmy Hart earlier today… he has got just what he needs to make sure Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart never wrestle again after tonight and Demolition may just be collateral damage! Vince: From there we have Randy Savage taking on Manny Fernandez! Jesse: I will never pick against Randy Savage as I do feel he is one of the best all around wrestlers in the world but I know tonight he’s got some extra fire and he will need to keep it under control! Vince: And of course we’ve got the big WWF Championship contest. Hulk Hogan defends against King Kong Bundy! Jesse: I said it before and I will say it again. Hulkamania isn’t Avalanche proof. I have seen him hurt from it before and tonight he will be hurt from it again and it will cost him the title! Vince: Fans what a night we have in store for you… let’s head to the ring! Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase w/ Big Bossman -A pretty solid contest here from Andre who is never on television. He and Dibiase play a fun cat and mouse game but the real play comes from the Bossman outside the ring. He is doing everything but jumping in there to get involved. Andre does finally get his hands on Dibiase and he sells like crazy for him. Teddy flies all around the ring and Andre looks fantastic before chaos ensues when the Bossman jumps in the ring but Andre catches him and headbutts him! The crowd is stirring but then out of nowhere it is Stan Hansen! Hansen comes out of the shadows with a big lariat and Andre stumbles but it is 3 on 1 and then tie Andre up. Hansen then grabs the cowbell and starts digging it into Andre’s head and he’s busted wide open. Officials and agents come out and Hansen is pounding everyone! Dibiase and Bossman all but retreat here to the madman from Borger Texas who is just going NUTS! Andre breaks free and starts after Hansen. Andre is bleeding profusely from the head as Hansen is up the aisle, running for his life. *COMMERCIAL* We return to SNME with a special promo from Jimmy Hart and his Family. They are putting over how they are the ones who dumped the Harts and it wasn’t the other way around. The Fabulous Ones make note and say that they will be Fabulous Winners here tonight and the Hammer vows to break a leg while Honky says he is going to Shake, Rattle, and Roll! The Hart Foundation & Demolition vs Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man & The Fabulous Ones -A pretty fun contest here with all eight-men getting involved here and there. This one goes about 14-minutes with the big happening of the Harts and Fabs lighting up the crowd. The momentum turns however when we see Mr. Fuji come out and he and Jimmy Hart are talking. Jesse and Vince are trying to make note of what is going on here. Inside the ring we see Bret Hart getting double teamed. He goes to make a tag but Demolition both drop down to the ground. The Anvil jumps down and asks what’s going on before Demolition turn on him and start beating him down outside the ring! What in the world is going on here?!? Demolition is beating the hell out of the Anvil. Inside the ring, Bret Hart is picked up by Lane and Kiern and we see the Crescent Kick to German Suplex finish for the 3-count. Ax and Smash put the boots to the Anvil and then go over and shake hands with Mr. Fuji! We see some more of the beatdown in the ring with the Hart Foundation getting beaten up by the Hart Family before we cut to the back with Mean Gene and Demolition! Mean Gene is going wild on Demolition about what happened but they make their case plain and simple. They say that they had the tag titles from the Fabulous Ones but they were outdone by a manager! They are trying to get their rematch but couldn’t get it done without a Manager! So they went to the most devious of all managers in the WWF and Mr. Fuji has signed Demolition. He promises to take them to the top of the WWF mountain and to make sure everyone in their path will feel pain and destruction! *COMMERCIAL* SNME is back with Randy Savage and Lord Alfred Hayes in the back. Savage is putting over his feud with the Heenan Family and says tonight he is going to be bringing some backup just in case Heenan and the Family show their faces! Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan -A pretty fun contest with Savage who is white hot right now as a babyface and Heenan who is garnering some major heat due to the Windham stuff. This one goes about 6-minutes before getting a little scratchy when Barry Windham and Rick Rude come out to the ring but then we see Curt Hennig and Billy Jack Haynes come out and join Savage. The final 10-minutes of the contest see a lot of mind games out of the Heenan crew but when chaos ensues it is Savage who comes out on top with a huge flying crossbody taking out Fernandez for a 3-count! Savage, Haynes, and Hennig stare down the Heenan Family who retreat. Bobby has his big one coming up or else maybe he would stay and fight! We head to the back with Mean Gene standing by with Ted Dibiase and the Bossman. They put over what they did to Andre the Giant here tonight and what is going to happen to Hulk Hogan in just a couple of minutes. They put over how WrestleMania is within arms reach and so is the WWF title. Dibiase is going to put everything on the line and will do whatever it takes to get the title and put an end to Hulkamania! *COMMERCIAL* SNME is back with Hulk Hogan and Mean Gene and the Hulkster is juiced to the gills and ready to explode right now. He is putting over Bundy and SNME but also turns his attention to Hansen, Dibiase, and Bossman. He says that no matter what happens tonight, he has got a backup plan. He knows Dibiase will go to any costs to try and take the WWF title but he will bring everything and maybe even the kitchen sink to get through this fight. WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan -Big time main event in the late hour spot here on SNME but it is worth the wait for Hogan and Bundy who do battle for about 12-minutes. A little stalling and big man work from Bundy but it proves the point that the big man could take the title from Hogan given the right circumstance. Heenan is outside of the ring really pushing this over the top and he is getting involved every chance he gets. The Hulkster has to find a way to fight back and when he does the crowd erupts but it ends ever so quickly as it began. We finally see Bundy go for the big AVALANCHE in the corner and he puts Hogan down. Bundy then hits the ropes for another big splash but Hogan moves and Hulks up! The crowd is really going wild for the Hulkster right now as he gets up and starts hammering away at Bundy. A couple of big rights and then an Axe Bomber before a bodyslam! Hogan goes for the leg drop but Heenan grabs his leg. This causes the distraction for Ted Dibiase and The Bossman to run down to the ring and attack the Hulkster who is having a hard time fighting them off! It was all a trap to get Hogan! They hurt Andre earlier in the night to lead to this! All of a sudden we see a figure coming down the aisle… is that…. WILLIAM REFRIGERATOR PERRY! The Fridge from the Superbowl Champion Bears is here and he jumps in the ring and pushes Ted Dibiase and Bossman off of Hogan. Bundy then lines up to charge him but the Fridge comes back with a huge shoulder block and Bundy stumbles back. Hogan gets back up to his feet and stands side by side with the Fridge! McMahon says that “Hogan may have forgotten the kitchen sink but he didn’t forget to bring the Fridge for this fight!” Jesse can’t believe these Shenanigans as Hogan gets on the microphone and announces that the Fridge is going to be in his corner at WrestleMania to make sure that the Bossman keeps his nose out of the title match! The crowd pops and what an end to SNME! We’ll see you on Prime Time on Monday!

  17. Hey fellas just wanted to give a heads up that hopefully I will have internet today in the new house I just bought and be able to get back to normal which shows and feedback and such. Keep up the great work.
  18. I really like seeing King Tonga get a push here. He is a big time dude and can be a prime time player in the NWA if used correctly... like you're doing. I am also interested in this Hart vs Rougeau feud and like Gordi said... how it is staying even until it has to come to head... which is going to be fun.
  19. WWC continues to impress with some very thought out and well written shows. I also love the wild ending. A great way to end television to lead to next week is to have some serious chaos.
  20. I like seeing Spivey in the main event. He has got a look and some skills just needs the right angle to show his abilities. I am also big on the Patera vs Dusty stuff. That could be some serious money.
  21. WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Featuring: Sting & The Tonga Kid, The British Bulldogs, Rockers, Hercules, & The One Man Gang! WWF Presents: All-American Wrestling Mean Gene Okerlund & Pat Patterson Featuring: Curt Hennig, Dino Bravo, The Honky Tonk Man, Brutus Beefcake, & Demolition! WWF Presents: Superstars of Wrestling Hosted By: Vince McMahon & Jesse ‘ The Body’ Ventura Matches from: Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid- Hudson Civic Center Featuring: Ted Dibiase, Don Muraco, The Mercenaries, Barry Windham, & Curt Hennig vs Nikolai Volkoff! WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid- Hudson Civic Center Prime Time opens this week with Bobby Heenan and the Heenan Family out putting themselves over with Jesse while Gorilla can’t believe it. Bundy is talking about putting an end to Hulk Hogan at SNME and how it will be nice to win the title but will be better to break Hogan in half! Windham puts over how he has signed to face Randy Savage and that the IC Title, just like the King of the Ring will be his when it is all said and done. Manny Fernandez calls out Randy Savage for their SNME match and says he is going to soften him up just enough for Windham to finish the job. Then we hear from Rick Rude who calls out Curt Hennig and puts over how Hennig turned down the chance of a lifetime to be part of the family but now he is public enemy number one. Heenan caps it off by saying no one is safe and that the Family will stop at nothing to get what it wants! Jim Powers & Paul Roma vs Hercules & Nikolai Volkoff w/ Slick -A nice little encounter here with Roma and Powers looking strong but the real situation is how we see the One Man Gang come out with Slick! They are chumming it up outside the ring while inside Hercules and Nikolai look formidable but Roma and Powers just don’t seem to be clicking. The big finish sees Roma holding Nikolai but Powers now paying attention leading to Hercules nailing Roma and throwing him out of the ring to the floor and then Nikolai hitting a running knee on Powers for the 3-count. Roma and Powers are not seeing eye to eye here. We then cut over to the desk where we see Superstar Graham and Bull Ganter. They are putting over the Bull who says he is calling out Hercules, Nikolai, and the big One Man Gang next week. He pulls over Jim Powers and Paul Roma and talks about them making a six-man tag team for next week and the crowd pops. Powers is all for it but Roma walks off. *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we see Billy Jack Haynes come back out and he is still sporting the busted up ribs but he calls out King Kong Bundy and says he is going to heal from these ribs and he is coming for King Kong baby! Curt Hennig vs Black Shadow -A pretty solid contest for Hennig here who is really primed to be a top star in the WWF. He handles Shadow with ease and comes away looking good even locking in a figure four leglock for the finish. He then joins Gorilla and Jesse… Hennig joins the crew and he talks about Barry Windham and the Heenan Family. He puts over how Heenan was lining his pockets but in reality he was cutting a whole to steal the money when he walked away. Heenan is nothing but a scab and he will always be a scab no matter what! Hennig then turns his attention to Rick Rude and says that if Rick Rude wants to step into that ring, it would be a perfect match to show everyone why he isn’t afraid of the Heenan Family! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we see Hulk Hogan along with Andre the Giant! They cut promos on Saturday Night’s Main Event on March the 1st in Atlantic City. Andre is signed to take on Ted Dibiase but he knows that Dibiase will have some kind of trick up his sleeve. Hogan says that Bundy is going to feel the full wrath of Hulkamania once and for all but then we hear a commotion and here comes Bundy and the Heenan Family. They are talking and screaming towards Hogan and Andre while out of the back of the arena comes Ted Dibiase and Bossman and Dibiase NAILS Hogan with the briefcase! The Heenan Family pounces and they are all over Andre and Hogan until we see Curt Hennig and some of the other babyfaces come out and chase this off. This is pure chaos as Gorilla is going wild. Hogan rips off his shirt and makes a go at Dibiase and Bundy who are protected and Andre is like a monster unleashed! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back for more Prime Time with the dust settling here and Gorilla is putting over how Heenan is really stirring the pot and Jesse loves it. They talk about SNME and how a lot could change for WrestleMania but one match that will stick is the tag title match with the Harts and Fabs! We see the Harts come out and they work the crowd saying that Jimmy Hart doesn’t know what’s coming to him and then when it is all said and done, the Harts and Demolition will reign supreme! MAIN EVENT The Rockers vs The Fabulous Ones w/ Jimmy Hart -Jannetty and Michaels haven’t had a lot of time in the spotlight but they get it here tonight with a very fun 12-minute contest. These two teams are very complimentary of one another and go the distance to tell a fun story. The more experience Fabs pull out all the stops while the young and flashy Rockers try to catch them off guard with move after move. We end with a pretty fun finish where Michaels and Jannetty have subdued Kiern for a moment but Jimmy Hart gets involved to stop Michaels who goes out of the ring. Marty Jannetty then turns around to find a Stan Lane boot right to the mush and he is out of it. 1….2...3 and the Fabs are the winners. The crowd isn’t happy but the champions reign supreme here. Gorilla and Jesse put them over and say we will hear from Randy Savage when we come back! *COMMERCIAL* We return to Prime Time with another scathing Randy Savage promo. He is going right after the Heenan Family and says that next week he gets his shot to take one of them out and Manny Fernandez is going to feel just an ounce of what Savage has in store for Windham! Jesse and Gorilla put it over and talk about how they will cover all the results from SNME next week right here on Prime Time! WWF Presents: Saturday Night’s Main Event VII 3/1/86 Atlantic City, NJ - Convention Center Ballroom WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase w/ Big Bossman Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan EIGHT MAN TAG The Hart Foundation & Demolition vs Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man & The Fabulous Ones
  22. The NWA Title Promo Flair did leading up to him and HBK was pretty damn good too.
  23. I am really enjoying your television character build. It is a way to really put forth who some of the next big stars in MACW will be when you have them here and especially involved in hot angles/matches/programs. I did have to second take when I saw Backlund and Sheik in the middle of the card. Interesting how their paths have come and gone since January of 1983 and how they have moved around in the game and become big players here.
  24. WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Hershey, PA – Hersheypark Arena Prime Time opens up with some stills from King of the Ring and Gorilla and Jesse are putting it over but then we get the crowd going wild when Bobby Heenan walks out with Barry Windham, Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, and Manny Fernandez! They come out and cut a scathing promo on Curt Hennig, Hulk Hogan, and then Randy Savage. They run Savage down to the ground and then Windham puts the dagger in when he says he is going to go to WrestleMania and take Savage’s title and don’t be surprised if he walks away with Elizabeth as well! That is the catalyst for the chaos when Randy Savage comes out of the back in a pair of jeans and cowboy boots and jumps over the announce booth at Windham! The crowd is going nuts as the Heenan Family is stomping and kicking away at Savage as officials and agents run out to break this up! Gorilla and Jesse are going crazy right now! Check out this Memphis video as a frame of reference for this scene... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfmcxI3Q1NA *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the action from earlier on. They talk about the signed contest for WrestleMania II… Randy Savage defending the IC title against Barry Windham! Jesse says that could be the match of the night. They put over all the happenings from SNME including the injury to Billy Jack Haynes who comes out and says he can’t believe Barry Windham did what he did. Haynes says he wants some answers and wonders if he will ever know why he did what he did. They put over a new tag team of the Tonga Kid and Sting as we cut to them in the ring! The Tonga Kid & Sting vs Los Conquistadors -A fun tag team encounter with Tonga and Sting really lighting up the crowd. They look hot here tonight and get things going. The finish is a big splash in the corner by Sting leading to Tonga Kid coming off the top rope for the flying splash! The crowd pops as these guys go to try and cut a promo but it is a lot of yelling and excitement… they are full of energy! *COMMERCIAL* We are back with Prime Time and we get to see the Hart Foundation out here as they cut a promo on the Fabulous Ones and Jimmy Hart. They put over how they will get a taste of them at SNME in an EIGHT MAN TAG when Demolition (who comes out) will join them! The Hart Family is going to crumble and be demolished as all four men look strong. SD Jones, Steve Lombardi, & Lanny Poffo vs Greg Valentine & The Fabulous Ones w/ Jimmy Hart & Honky Tonk Man -Six-man action from the Hart Family as they are out in full force with Honky and Jimmy at ringside. We get a pretty decent match and coming out of all of this is the Hammer who looks to really be strong. He locks up Lombardi in a figure four leglock and gets the submission. We hear him say that no one… and he means no one can get out of the figure four leglock! Hart and company look strong and work the crowd! We get another promo here from Dino Bravo who comes out and says he was shocked by what happened at the King of the Ring with Barry Windham. He says he thought he knew him but anything can happen. Bravo then goes on to say that he is willing to go out to the ring against anyone and even says that Greg Valentine looked strong but doesn’t think he could keep him in the figure-four leglock! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back and we’re joined by Ted Dibiase who is with the Big Bossman. He’s got a halliburton briefcase that he puts on the table and opens it up to show some money… a lot of money… Dibiase says this is his life savings. This is everything he’s ever won as a pro wrestler. This is all the money he has left that he will put on the line against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania. He is so confident that he is willing to lose everything if he cannot win the WWF title. Gorilla says it is a hefty bet… but Jesse says it is a safe bet! MAIN EVENT Tito Santana vs Nikolai Volkoff w/ Slick -A good main event here with two solid workers. Tito has got a great following from the crowd while Nikolai gets some nice heat. Slick is outside doing some fun work and even gets Hercules involved while Tito is trying to fight back. Hercules continues to make his presence felt but here comes Bull Ganter! Bull comes out and nails Hercules with a big right hand! Nikolai loses focus and here comes Tito with a big flying forearm! 1….2…..3!!! Tito rolls out and joins hands with Bull as they work the crowd. Superstar Graham comes out and joins them as they work the crowd. Gorilla and Jesse put over that we will hear from Randy Savage when we get back! *COMMERCIAL* We’re back for Prime Time and Randy Savage comes out and he is HOT! Jesse and Gorila try to console him but then he grabs the microphone…. Randy Savage: Let me make it plain and simple… Barry Windham… what you did was turn your back on every single one of these fans. You turned your back on all of these people. You sided with the weasel. A man who cannot be trusted. You picked Bobby Heenan and you signed the warrant for me to take you down brother. When he hit that rope and then you came and hoisted me up to the heavens and drove me straight to hell brother and then you signed the deed. You signed that piece of paper that said Randy Savage is going to come at me and come at me harder than anyone ever has. Brother if you think for a moment that you and I are going to fight for this title you are crazy. Brother you have got to be out of your mind. You are going to be in the ring with me and it won’t be a match brother it is going to be a fight. You want the title come and take the title but brother once you say her name you are trying to take a part of my life. Barry Windham… I am coming for you. I am coming for you with everything I have got and brother I won’t stop until I don’t exist! WWF Presents: Saturday Night’s Main Event VII 3/1/86 Atlantic City, NJ - Convention Center Ballroom WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase w/ Big Bossman Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan EIGHT MAN TAG The Hart Foundation & Demolition vs Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man & The Fabulous Ones
  25. The King of the Ring Show on the PRISM network Philadelphia, PA - The Spectrum Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon and Lord Alfred Hayes Brutus Beefcake: What does it take to be the King? Well a little trim off the sides and a nice cut here and there. Hammer, you are going to find out why this chair was made for one man… me! Greg Valentine: Everyone all over the world is waiting to find out who the King of the Ring will be… well guess what… I am going to hammer each and every opponent into the ground like I have done my entire career. It starts with you Beefcake and it ends with me and the crown! Barry Windham: A lot of people talking about the King of the Ring and if I am 100%. I can tell you right now that I am not… but I am 100% sure that I am coming out here tonight for a fight and I will do whatever it takes to get that crown! Hercules: Throughout the history of the world, Hercules is known to be the biggest and the baddest man in history. Tonight I step on my throne as the King of the WWF and I will rule all below me! Curt Hennig: I know a lot of people have tried to comprehend wrestling 4 matches in one night and what that can do to someone. Well I am here to tell you that I am in the best shape of my life and I am ready to step into that ring and show everyone why I am a perfect fit to be the King! Don Muraco: Curt Hennig is nothing but a snot nosed punk and tonight he is going to get what’s coming to him in the most magnificent way possible. I am going to put him down and then I am going to look so good as the King of the WWF! Billy Jack Haynes: I have been getting ready for this night for a long time. Bundy, the last time we met you hurt my ribs but tonight I am coming with a vengeance! I am coming to put you down and to raise that crown! King Kong Bundy: Is there anyone bigger than me in the tournament? (Heenan shakes his head no) Is there anyone stronger than me in the tournament? (Heenan shakes his head no) Is there anyone who is named King in the tournament? (Heenan shakes his head no) Well looks like King Kong Bundy is going to finally get the crown I deserve! HAHAHA! Randy Savage: OHHHH YEAAAAHHHH! Tonight I have to step into that ring and defend my crown against one of the top eight men in the sport and brother I can’t wait to see who survives the tournament and makes it to the finals! I am willing to bet the crown jewel that they won’t walk out with my crown or the Intercontinental Championship and there will be no way to stop me. OHHHHH YEEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!! KING OF THE RING OPENING ROUND Curt Hennig vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji -A pretty fun pairing here with Muraco and Hennig who have really being fighting for biggest new dog on the block in terms of success. Hennig has got a great look and really causes a stir with the female fans. Muraco and Fuji have a small cult following but can get some nice heat and they do that on the young babyface Hennig. Every chance they get to break a rule they do it. Every chance they get to gauge an eye or hit a low blow they do. The finish sees Muraco setting up for a tombstone piledriver but Hennig jumps over his back and pushes him into the turnbuckle. Fuji is on the apron as Muraco runs towards Hennig who ducks and Muraco nails Fuji before Hennig grabs him for a backslide and a 3-count! Hennig moves on! Brutus Beefcake vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty decent showing from Brutus but he’s just not got the skills against Valentine. The Hammer uses almost all of the 15-minutes the get the job done here against Brutus and moves on after a nasty running shin to the skull with that “protector” on his leg. Brutus gets busted open and has a hard time shaking the cobwebs out on his way back to the dressing room. Barry Windham vs Hercules w/ Slick -Hercules is the replacement and he proves to be a lot to handle for Windham but Barry’s cunning is too much for Hercules when he’s able to counter the big man’s power and strength into his own momentum leading to a victory from a school boy! Windham is still sporting a sore knee from that ligament damage but looks strong here although he will have a tough one ahead of him with our next contest. Billy Jack Haynes vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan -Billy Jack is still sporting the taped ribs from his encounter with Bundy a couple of weeks ago on Prime Time. This one is more of the same with Bundy just going relentless on his ribs and pounding away. The referee ends up trying to pull him back off but Bundy pushes the referee away and Heenan is irate as it causes a DQ finish! Billy Jack wins the contest but the wars far from over! Heenan then gets up on the apron and he grabs Billy Jack in the corner and here comes Bundy with 3 avalanches in the corner! Billy Jack is in a bad way as Bundy reigns supreme but won’t reign as the King! KING OF THE RING QUARTER FINALS Curt Hennig vs Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart -This is a good follow up from a couple of weeks ago with Honky and Hennig. Curt is a little roughed up from his previous contest but nothing major. He and Valentine once again push the limit with the 20-minute time limit. If it was a draw… we’d see Windham go right to the finals to take on Savage tonight. On an interesting note… it is Bobby Heenan who comes out and he is trying to coach and encourage Hennig. Bobby and Jimmy end up arguing with one another outside of the ring as a distraction to Valentine but this give Hennig a chance to knee him in the back and nail the turnbuckle and when he turns around he gets rolled up for the 3-count and Hennig is moving on! Barry Windham received a bye due to Billy Jack forfeit. -Billy Jack actually comes out. He has got his ribs heavily taped and offers his hand to Windham as they shake. It will be Windham vs Hennig in the finals! The Hart Foundation vs The Mercenaries w/ Mr. Fuji -The Mercenaries are doing the bidding of Jimmy Hart tonight at the behest of Mr. Fuji. The Mercenaries are a pretty big and tough team but the #1 contenders have got it all together right now and they are firing on all cylinders. The finish sees the Mercenaries kind of lose control of themselves after Fuji whacks Kareem with the cane. This distraction causes a count out victory for the Harts as the Mercs chase Fuji to the back! -We cut to the back where Mean Gene is standing by with Hennig and Windham. They both shake hands and talk about their fathers and how tonight they cement their own legacies. They put over each other’s abilities but then we see Bobby Heenan come in and he starts to try and warm up to Hennig and says he is going to be there in his corner and make sure the crown comes to the family! Heenan walks off and we see Windham go after Hennig about Heenan and how he has got the ace in the hole. Windham says he’s been dealing with Heenan for months and tonight, he puts all of that behind him when he beats his newest protege Curt Hennig and wins the King of the Ring! KING OF THE RING SEMI-FINALS Curt Hennig vs Barry Windham -A really fun 18-minute contest. Windham is still sporting some issues from his knee. Hennig has been through two different matches tonight and you can tell he’s hurting. These guys go balls to the wall and we end up seeing Heenan, Rude, and Fernandez come down. They are taunting Windham and cheering for Hennig. The final moments see a quick sequence with Hennig going for the Perfect Plex but Windham is able to counter. Windham puts him up for a superplex but Hennig kicks him off and nails a cross body for a very close 2-count. Hennig hits the ropes but it is BOBBY HEENAN WHO GRABS HIS FOOT! Hennig turns to look and Bobby says I thought it was Barry! Windham comes from behind and BULLDOG ON HENNIG! He covers him for a 3-count and the crowd pops! We see the Family come in and try to help Hennig but Windham runs back in with a chair and chases them off! Hennig is hurting but he congratulates Windham. Windham is going to face Savage in a while and that will tell us who the real King of the Ring is! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs vs The Fabulous Ones w/ Jimmy Hart -Kind of a filler contest but has some meat to it. These guys don’t have a ton of build but both teams are known. They go at it for around 14-minutes and the Bulldogs are in pretty good form here. The Fabs work the heel out of the crowd with their stalling but the Dogs get them to turn it up a notch. At the 14-minute mark it looks like the Dogs are set for a victory when Davey Boy hits the powerslam on Kiern but it is Lane who comes out of nowhere and hits the ropes with crotches Dynamite and then as the referee is holding back Dynamite… Lane runs and Superkicks Dynamite as he’s crotches on the top rope and he comes crashing down. Lane pulls Kiern over on him and then goes after Davey as the Fabs get the 3-count and retain the titles! Hart is jumping for joy and he exclaims that Bret and the Anvil will be next baby! KING OF THE RING FINALS Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth (K) vs Barry Windham -A very fun and interesting contest. These two guys go about 23-minutes and Savage is still working heel but keeps questioning Windham about Heenan and Windham just tries to work the match. We see both men get in some offense but at the 18-minute mark things start to turn. We see Bobby Heenan make his way down to the ring and the fans are giving him the business. The match continues with Savage getting the upperhand and then Windham finding a way to fight back before Heenan causes a stir outside the ring when he begins to go after Elizabeth which causes Windham to yell at him and Savage to take control. Savage goes off the top rope and nails the double axe handle and then a piledriver! Savage is looking to finish as he goes up to the top rope but it is Heenan who grabs the ropes and Savage comes crashing down! Windham comes over and gets up on the ropes for a SUPERPLEX! 1…..2…..3!! BARRY WINDHAM HAS WON THE KING OF THE RING! -Gorilla and Lord Alfred are really putting this over and wondering what is going on. Savage is being helped by some officials right now as his back is in bad shape. Inside the ring we see Heenan grab the crown and Windham looks out to the crowd and with a clenched fist he reaches back and then puts it out and he and Heenan shake hands! Heenan hugs him and puts the crown on his head! We have a new King in the WWF and Savage is hot! Savage tries to come back in the ring but Windham and Heenan pound on him before Rude and Fernandez run back out and help! They are beating the piss out of him and they leave him lay before backing off and going up the ramp! Windham has joined the Heenan Family? What will happen next!?! MAIN EVENT Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant vs Stan Hansen & One Man Gang w/ Ted Dibiase & Bossman -A huge main event with some of the biggest names in the sport. We get a great contest and early on it is the One Man Gang who gets slammed outside the ring by Andre and then we see Ted Dibiase join the contest so it looks like the Philly fans are getting more than they bargained for! Dibiase finally gets in there with Hogan and we get a nice preview of what is going to happen at WrestleMania. We see Hansen and Andre tear it up in a big way. The finish is bullshit with the Bossman and Gang getting back involved with Andre getting tied up in the ropes and it being a three on one with Hogan being beat up outside the ring. The Hulkster makes a big comeback and tears everyone away before Andre gets loose and bodyslams Hansen. Dibiase pulls him out of the ring as his crew scatters. Hogan and Andre stand tall. Gorilla and Lord Alfred say that they hope the score is settled at WrestleMania!
