  3. I don't know why it's so negative towards Crockett. They actually care about what's going on in the Ring and that's what matters to me
  4. I've been watching these NWA World Championship Wrestling and one of the most profound things I saw was how good Tony Schiavone and David Crockett were as a commentary team. I know I'm only 19 and I deal with shitty commentary from the fed but am I the only one who appreciates these two as a commentary team?

  14. I'm constantly on twitter but I should be on more because if I'm tweeting during events or tweeting something wrestling related, I will get more traction. I'm also on my college's internet radio station and want to get live listeners as well. I know I don't advertise that end very well because I assume no one would want to listen live. Maybe I'm right or wrong but I'm not at a good timeslot, I'm on Fridays from 1-3 PM EST. Here's the site for live listening www.montcoradio.com and it has other stuff on there because it's a college station (it's based out of Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA outside of Philadelphia) I talked to Rich Kraetch about this and he says having a presence on forums helps. Believe it or not Pete from PWO/PTBN was on my show and had such a good time that I was supposed to be the original co-host of This Week In Wrestling but that didn't work out. I've been trying to get on a network which would help my listenership but no way I'm getting on this one because of the amount of shows. But the problem with trying to get on a network is that most of them stream to their website and they want exclusive streaming rights but since I do the show at my college, I can't possibly give somebody that.
  15. I'm constantly doing research for my show and I think my mistake is that I get it from other sources. I probably need to take my own notes and give my opinion rather than someone else. I need that sort of critique because I'm trying to be different. I have the same one person telling me it's good but I want to get better at it. Thank you for listening and giving me these critiques because it's what I need. Maybe I should write or type my format and have it be shortened so I can expand on the points I make.
  16. Hi Guys I've been doing my podcast/radio show Get in the Ring for a little over a year now and I have fun doing it but I've been a little upset with the lack of traction it has gotten. Sometimes I'll have 75 downloads when someone like Dylan Hales, or Bill Apter on but have a lack of downloads when i have no guest on. It's been really frustrating looking the listener counts when I go live or downloads on the on demand. I'm trying different things to separate myself from the pack but it hasn't worked and I don't know what it is. The same people are listening to my show and I'm getting no feedback on what I can do better so it's really hard to create a formula that works for an audience I don't have. Any advice? If you want to check out my show and tell me what I'm doing right and wrong I'd appreciate it. Here's the link www.shoutengine.com/GetintheRing
  17. Ricardo/RVD like that made any sense at all
  18. Hey guys, I haven't told a lot of people this but I'm a production assistant and all around utility guy for The World Famous Monster Factory. The Monster Factory was owned by Larry Sharpe and he trained lots of guys that made it from Chris Candido to Sheamus when he moved to the US. The ownership was transfered in 2011 to Danny Cage and he brought in over the years The Blue Meanie, Bill Wiles, QT Marshall and Punisher Martinez as the training staff. Under this current iteration of the Monster Factory they moved into the Paulsboro Wrestling Gym and expanded to another recruiting facility in Mt Laurel NJ. Currently they have gotten Steve Cutler from NXT trained and signed and trained Matthew Riddle, Clutch Adams, Shaheem Ali, Nick Commorato, and a lot more. They bring in notable names for seminars such as Jerry Brisco, Les Thatcher, Joel Gertner, MVP, Cliff Compton, Rip Rodgers and more. It's a well oiled machine and I'm glad to be a part of it. Learning from the coaching staff, wrestlers, and the people brought in to do seminars. What can you do to help you may ask? One if you live near Paulsboro NJ come to shows, it's very affordable and awesome time. But no matter where you are you can subscribe to the Monster Factory network for only $2.99 a month. It's the easiest way to support what we're doing and very affordable. Thanks for reading this and if you have any questions just ask.
  19. Damn it I forgot Sasha. Cena for me I had him in the top 20, he's going to have to step it up even more because of Seth's injury and probably enter even the top ten
  20. My top 20 wrestlers in the world right now 20) Finn Balor 19) Jay Lethal 18) Marty Scurill 17) Tommy End 16) Timothy Thatcher 15) Chris Hero 14) Cesaro 13) Kenny Omega 12) Tanahashi 11) KUSHIDA 10) Kyle O'Reilly 9) Will Ospray 8) Seth Rollins 7) Nakamura 6) Roddy Strong 5) Pentagon Jr 4) Matt Sydal 3) AJ Styles 2) Zach Sabre Jr 1) Kazuchika Okada
  21. Here's my thoughts on the show: Kickoff Match- A good table setter for the night. Cesaro and Rusev worked especially hard on this match. Not as good as the touted NJPW/ROH six mans of this year but a fun tag between six good workers. ***1/4 Cena vs Del Rio- Funny thing was I wasn't shocked at all with Del Rio's return. It's been a rumored thing and the eerie thing was that I had a conversation with my brother about this man, so my reaction to this was oh it's Del Rio. Now to the match, it wasn't good. It seemed like these two did not click at all, the pacing sucked, both were phoning it in as it seemed. The finish made me mad because Cena couldn't tap to the arm breaker, it was a backcracker then a super kick that put him away. I was bored with this match. **1/4 Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt- These two worked hard and I have to give them credit for that but again it just didn't click with me. It was the most forgettable HIAC match I've ever seen, the smoke and mirrors stuff in this match didn't work for me. I was expecting more and was disappointed with what I saw. Based on what I saw Reigns was the clear winner and there was no misdirection in the match at all and the match was predictable. No intensity, no ferocity and that is just a match and not an effective one at that. *3/4 New Day vs Dudley Boys- This was a OK match but I am tired of seeing a double down for the hot tag and I noticed that it's the most over used troupe in wrestling when Les Thatcher pointed it out at the seminar I went to at the Monster Factory this weekend. I'm tired of the fuck finishes in these tag matches and the New Day is getting old. The promo was predictable and the match was fucking ok. I was ready to give up on the PPV at this point. The match was fine but no one gets over. **1/2 Charlotte vs Nicki Bella- This was the second best match on the show and the best match on the main show if you don't count the kickoff match and it wasn't even close. Though it was sloppy at points but the match was effective and the thing is that the back selling was some of the best stuff on the show. NB is becoming a solid in ring hand and she had to carry this match because of charlotte's lack of experience. I liked the time they got as well. *** Seth Rollins vs Kane- Seth Rollins is just really good. He's working with older people an that streak will continue and is getting serviceable matches out of a 56 year old and a 45 year old. That being said Kane as a main eventer needs to end ASAP. The in ring work was fine, nothing too memorable and Seth is a stud. ***1/4 Ryback vs Kevin Owens- This was bad but it was neither of their faults. It was a nothing match anyways. *1/2 Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar- This match saved this show and it was a smoke and mirrors type match but it needed to be that. If this wasn't on the show and Triplemania didn't happen this would have been my vote for worst major show of the year. It was a very underwhelming show, and this match didn't have the stench of the entire show. That being said, there was the intensity and ferocity in this match. It had the mezmoring spots and those moments that will stand the test of time. Good enough to save this show and enjoyed everything about it even the finishing angle. People you have got to realize that Undertaker has t oelevate somebody on his way out and Bray Wyatt is the only guy who can do that. So I had NO PROBLEM with the angle. ****

  23. Hey Guys, I am currently in the preproduction process with a project idea I pitched to Bill Apter and he liked this idea. This will be a YouTube series chronicling Bill Apter's collection of wrestling memorabilia and items that mean something personally to him. Now I lose the question to the fans of PWO what would you want to see from Apter's wide array of wrestling memorabilia? Is it photos that he took, magazine covers, posters, programs, or other wrestling related items? I'm open to ideas and want to make this YouTube series something special. Thanks
