  8. I'm going back and looking at the nomination threads and the podcasts and I feel that already I'm viewing things a bit differently. I was recently on an upcoming release for a podcast called Is It Five Stars and the host Rob had me look at three 80s matches and I even learned as I watched each of the matches I think my list was more subjective on where everyone else ranked the wrestlers rather than my own opinions for the most part and I regret that. I feel that I'm trying to fill so many gaps in a short time the two gaps that are still gaping holes are Joshi and WOS. Overall I enjoyed the discussion this created and has opened my eyes to things I would have never seen or heard of.

  12. On the Voices of Wrestling podcast they pointed out that ROH is being bullied by NJPW to do these angles. They are in a position of vulnerability because without these NJPW guys, why would anyone go to these ROH shows? That's why they're failing because they have the cushion of the NJPW guys to say when they need a big house, they lean on other talent from mainly NJPW. Who in ROH has the potential to break out and become a star besides Lio Rush who just got there? Let's be honest, Adam Cole is at the peak of his star unless he goes to the E, Roddy the same thing, ACH isn't what we think he is to them and the other guys are just cogs in the wheel. Why aren't ROH bringing in the hot indie names that if this was 2007 and Gabe was booking it they would? They recruit from these camps and as much as the camps are helping some guys like a Hanson or Matt Taven get exposure, why would any big indie name like a Zack Sabre Jr, a Will Ospreay, a Chris Hero, a Ethan Page, a Marty Scurll, a Ricochet, a Sami Callihan go to a ROH camp when they are already established names and ROH should be booking you based off of what they do elsewhere. ROH isn't the pathway to WWE anymore and that's why more trendy names like a Matt Riddle go to an Evolve instead of ROH. ROH just got too big for their own good

Daniel Bryan Bryan personifies everything a wrestler should be, from the attitude to the in ring work. I feel as if placed in any era, Bryan would be one of the best no matter what. Bret Hart Another wrestler's wrestler, Bret's technical prowess can't be paralleled by anyone other than my number one. I feel Bret had to persevere through so much and still is one of the greatest of all time. Kenta Kobashi Kenta Kobashi is the ultimate strong style competitor. He hits hard, suplexes you on top of your head and is fun to watch. Every time I watch a Kenta Kobashi match I'm intrigued. Mitsuharu Misawa I love Misawa as he was the perfect complement to my number three, Kenta Kobashi. I could of honestly flipped the two and be happy but this is how I feel analyzing the details at this point. Shawn Michaels Shawn is one the greatest all around wrestlers of all time. He can grapple, fly, suplex, and wrestle. He was the ace when no one else could be and that gets some mad respect. 14. Thanks I was happy with this show with the exception of my audio quality which sucked. I feel that there was a lot of contrast and similarities in our lists that created interesting discussion.
  15. http://wrestlingwithwords.com/podcast/get-in-the-ring-gwe-special/ Danny and special guest Case Lowe reveal their greatest wrestler ever lists. Skip to about 2:00 where the conversation about GWE is started. Fun show and a great project over at www.prowrestlingonly.com.
  16. I agree with this setiment a lot. The last 4-5 months have been about these four questions: 1) How does wrestler A compare to wrestler B in terms of consistency, match quality, amount of matches, and skill? 2) What do different variables mean towards what you enjoy overall? 3) Am I getting the full picture by watching only select matches? 4) What eras have I missed in my Fandom and trying to fill those gaps?
  17. Hi guys, Haven't been on for a while. For those of you that don't know, I'm Danny Kuchler and I'm the host of Get in the Ring on the www.wrestlingwithwords.com audio network. Next week I'm having Former WWE/TNA and current Pro Wrestling NOAH star Lance Archer on the show. Any questions you have on here would be appreciated.

  19. Yeah and I have a pretty good start. I have holes I need to fill such as the 70s in general, Lucha, late 90s NJPW and early 2000s indies
  20. Thanks for the feedback guys. Really appreciate it, I'm young in my fandom but willing to watch more!!
  21. I like the 91 match a little better because of the historical significance but the 95 match was very good as well. What Hashimoto matches should I watch?
  22. The I Quit Cage Match is my #1 of all time. I said no particular order but that was the first match I thought of to put on there. I like violent spectacles and those three matches (Dog Collar, Foley/Rock, Mankind/Taker) are the best examples at those violent spectacles.
  23. I liked the triple threat better but I have bias since I was in the building.
  24. Hey Guys, I constructed a list of my 100 favorite matches of all time right now. It's a good mix. Remember I'm only 19 and only seen so much so give it a look and place your opinions here. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER https://docs.google.com/document/d/15MZ4N0VP4a9urK-L2nCz-BHpBSD7suDZJwdvh8VUCKU/edit?usp=sharing Thanks
