Great TV! Man, the Nightmares are perfect for Creatchman. Nice continuity, showing footage from Japan. Brito gets a nice win over Gilbert but of course Hot Stuff has to have the last laugh. Jeez, Tonga just destroyed Armand in that cage, which makes Kevin Von Erich's Calgary win over Tonga all the more impressive. Loved that SST/RPM cage match and that Harts/Rougeau's match is a classic. -
Thanks for the support! I'm back at home now, using the walker. I will have a lot of time this weekend LOL so I'll hit it hard and get caught up.
-
Hey guys I had an accident at work. I'm in the hospital with a hip fracture. I should be released tonight and it looks like I'll have plenty of time to get caught up. See you on here soon

What an announcement! Armand's got guts but also might be a bit crazy to get in a cage with Tonga. I'm a little worried about Armand here. -
The Commissioner laying out fines everywhere. I think Castillo has the toughest job in the wrestling world. That beat down on the RPMs was insane. Only Chicky can cut a promo during all that craziness. Which Hart will prevail next week? Cant wait to find out. That Colon segment from the Hospital was set up perfectly. His return to the ring will be a huge moment. Invader 3 earns his shot against Benoit with a hard fought victory over Santana. July 5th cant come soon enough, man that is one stacked card!

Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling News The NWA has announced that the Great American Bash Tour will be taking place in July. MACW has officially announced that their Great American Bash show will take place on July 2nd at the Memorial Stadium in Charlotte NC. The event will be followed by a fireworks show. MACW hopes to draw 30,000 fans for the event. The Crockett's think they could draw this by putting together an incredible show. Already booked for the event is Stan Hansen, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, WWC Champion Abdullah the Butcher and Antonio Inoki. All Mid Atlantic titles will be defended as well as an NWA World Title defense by Rick Martel. Official matches will be announced during the month of June. After the departure of the 4 Horsemen, Mid Atlantic's house show numbers dropped a bit. The Crockett's expected this and didn't panic. The turnaround came at the Spring Spectacular with the shocking debut of Ted Dibiase. House show attendance went up for Dibiase's first few title defenses. Last week, Orlando drew a huge number as the main event saw Ted Dibiase and Stan Hansen take on Hacksaw Duggan and Dusty Rhodes. The Crockett's have been more than pleased with the Dibiase/Duggan program and hope to sell out Richmond with that main event. Another feud drawing well has been Harley Race and Paul Orndorff. In his short time with Mid Atlantic, Orndorff has really gotten over with the fans. Harley has done an amazing job with the Mid Atlantic title and the Crockett's rewarded him with a raise. Another angle that appears to be getting over is JJ Dillon's 10, 000 dollar challenge to anyone who can defeat King Kong Bundy. The Crockett's have praised JJ because after he lost the 4 Horsemen, he took this new angle and ran with it. In other big news, Don Kernodle returned from Canada with the Canadian International title. This is a tremendous career rejuvenation for Kernodle. MACW is very pleased to be working with Lutte and the Crockett's were thankful they gave Kernodle this opportunity. This opens up so many doors for Kernodle and Corporal Kirchner as well. The Crockett's have high hopes for this feud and they think it could turn into one of the summer's hottest programs. MACW has also expressed gratitude to Wild West Wrestling. It gave wrestlers like Spike Huber, Bar Room Brawlers and Hot Property a place to showcase their talents. All of this talent has improved tremendously since appearing there. The Crockett's have enjoyed working with the other territories in the NWA and have said having talent come in for spots has eased the departure of the 4 Horsemen. A perfect example is when Dick Slater came in for a match with Terry Taylor. When that was announced there was a big spike in ticket sales. Also, the Road Warriors and Midnight Express boosted attendance when they came to town. Look for more talent across the NWA to make appearances in MACW. After a crazy spring, MACW is back on track and looking forward to an amazing summer.

What a turn by Blassie! Man, that Cow Palace crowd must of been furious! This sets up a huge money making rematch between Stevens and Flowers. I thought Stevens would win the title but after reading this, you made the right move with Flowers. I like your pairing of Flowers and Royal. Kansas Jayhawks automatically brings credibility to the tag team titles. Boogie Down Productions still look strong in their loss. After reading the results, I think you have a fun roster to work with. Looking forward to the future of Big Time Wrestling.

World Class Championship Wrestling: May 1986

Yea, Rod's promo was hilarious. Parade of Champions should be an awesome day of wrestling. Hall gets a big win over Parsons but Parsons manages to get the last laugh on Doll. Dirty White Boys and Onyx Express could be a good feud. Well, looks like the Texas Dream is gone. It seems like Dusty Rhodes is about to explode in WCCW. Freebirds/Kamala and Nasty Boys must of been an insane brawl and that's followed by Road Warriors/Funks! Fantastic way to end the card! -

Good Grief that cage match was insane! A 60 minute cage draw definitely gives the fans their money's worth. Looks like Kokina is still rattled from his title loss as he falls to Leduc. -

Really liked the tournament matches. Valentine looked good. Sting and Bad News was my favorite with a good ending. Sika and OMG was out of control fun. The Tully/Bravo match was so realistic. Savage and Arn tore the house down. What a TV main event. I think Savage is going to need some help in his fight with the Horsemen. Wahoo and Tito look to be up for it. All they need is one more to even the odds. That Flair/Tito MSG match was a classic.

Two great matches setting up a great finale between Flowers and Stevens. What a cliffhanger! Who is the Rooster???

What a way to end the show with a blockbuster announcement of Andre the Giant as Kokina's opponent! Great continuity of Armand's injury at the hands of Bundy. Tommy Rich showing up was another fun surprise. That Kernodle is really messing with Jacques, even when he's not there. I have a feeling Jacques will be heading to Mid Atlantic soon for some payback. -
Steamboat/Orton and Garvin/Sawyer would of been my money matches. Pillman getting the pin on Sullivan must of been pure satisfaction. A Guerrero finally is able to beat Douglas. Love the finish of Zenk pulling the tights on Gagne. Poor Greg just cant seem to find his way in the AWA.
-
Dang that Memorial Bash card is stacked! So many heated matches. So many feuds to be settled. It's going to be an explosive night of action. Magnum and Murdoch should be a great bout for the UWF title. The Rich/Gilbert feud has gone way above out of control. I'm really excited for the Martel/Nikita collision for all the marbles.

WOW! Big win for Snuka! Should be very interesting to see where this goes. That 6 Man tag was loaded with talent. Things between Kernodle and Jacques are escalating. I would love to carry this feud over to MACW. I agree, great way to end the show with Martel -
Oh man Piper and Sabu vs. Jake and Cactus, DeBeers vs. Slaughter and Steamboat vs Bock, the fans in Denver got their money's worth and then some. Putting Sabu with Piper is genius. I like seeing Zenk as a heel. I think he can really pull this off especially with Sullivan coaching him. Count me in as an All Star Squadron fan. Watching Tanaka defend his Southern title week in and week out has been a treat. Looking forward to more Black Irish/British Steel matches. The AWA is so well balanced, something for everyone.

I agree with everybody, this Roop, Carson, Jayhawks and now a man known as the Rooster is a very intriguing storyline and no doubt keeps the viewers coming back. Stevens gets a great win. Nice to see Stevens back home. I think Timothy Flowers could be a really big star here. You have a great mix of young guys and big names from the past. I think Big Time Wrestling will be a lot of fun to watch.

Looks like Bruce finally saw Owen's true colors. Pretty good move by Santana. Great seeing Jacques as the mystery partner. Oh man, Madril took one heck of a beating. The announcers are right, we may never see Madril again. Ron Starr is right, Chicky does so much out of the kindness of his heart LOL. I really like the build to Mantel and Jaggers. Maybe Mantel's words will reach Austin Idol. The Gama/TNT story has been one of my favorites. I'm still wondering what El Profe has up his sleeve. Sounds like Colon is recuperating well, will he be back by July 5th???

MACW would like to book Abdullah the Butcher and Antonio Inoki on July 2nd.

Great turn of events in the TV title picture. Doll wins the belt but Iceman gives him a severe beating. Scott Hall and the Nasty Boys get some good wins. Would love to see more matches between Garvin/Embry and Onyx Express. Lawler was so good against the monsters as he shows here. Midnights and Freebirds is all kinds of awesome. Man, what an ending as Studd costs Kerry the match with a chair. I've enjoyed Studd here in WCCW. -
