  1. Big win for Dr. D. Not many wrestlers can out brawl Stan Hansen. I give it up for Brito, he hung in there for 11 minutes against the Rougeaus. Adias's date with Karen should be interesting. Huge main event. Looks like Kernodle and OMG make quite a team as they almost take the Road Warriors to the limit.
  2. Huge upset as Dundee and Douglas defeat Jake and Nord, man that's a big time win right there. The Guerreros are on quite then roll of late. This time Pillman gets the win over Burke. Tanaka is one of the best champions in the game right now. Despite being hurt, SpiveyMania beats the odds and successfully retains his title.
  3. Guerreros get a big win over Snake Pit with some help from Chavo. Hmmmmm, a Snake Pit/Guerrero feud could be very interesting. Sabu picks up a great win over Jack. Slaughter and DeBeers continue their fun feud. Nice title defense for the Razor Boys as they beat the tough team of Saito and Larry Z. I could watch Steamboat and Orton go at it all day. I wonder who Piper has in mind to challenge Steamboat? I'm really hoping this all leads to a Steamboat/Piper showdown. That match would sell out arenas everywhere.
  4. The chase finally pays off as British Steel wins the Southern titles. Great pay off! I continue to love the Burke/Pillman gem feud and like how they're trading wins. Patera and Blackwell get a huge win, taking advantage of Spivey's injury. I think Spivey's title reign is in jeopardy. Death Sentence and Sheepherders give the fans a hardcore brawl. This could turn into one bloody feud. Cool seeing Leon White morphing. Tanaka and Sano put on a clinic. Sawyer was on his A game tonight and I could imagine the selling by Steamboat. Great title defense for Steamboat as his roll continues.
  5. Great follow up from Parade of Champions. Wow, the Freebirds really messed Dusty up both physically and mentally. Is this the end of the Dream??? Doesn't look like the Freebirds are going to enjoy the bounty money after all. Ladd and the Revolution make a huge statement and I'm sure will make a huge impact in WCCW. Love the fired up Garvin and Embry. Cant wait to see your Great American Bash lineup. Nikita/Kerry already gets my money. Freebirds are on a roll with a big win over JYD, Lawler and Olympia. What a monster of a team with Kamala and Beast. Kerry Von Erich is off to a hot start as champ with a strong win over Funk.

  10. MACW @ WTBS Studios TV Aired 6-7-86 Schiavone: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. With me as always my partner David Crockett. David, we have a great show tonight as we will see highlights from the tag team battle royal that took place this past week in Roanoke VA. As you know the winning team will go on to face the US Champs, Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley on July 2nd at the Great American Bash. Crockett: That's right Tony. Lot's of action in the ring tonight. We heard the challenge last week, Tom Prichard is going to put up the TV title in an open challenge tonight. I think his manager Rock Riddle is becoming a tad to arrogant. Schiavone: You might be right David. Big tag team match tonight as Rolling Thunder takes on Greatness. Also in action will be Harley Race, Blackjack Mulligan, The Cobra along with the Assassin. Hot Property, The Caspian Empire and fans we will have the wrestling debut of Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez, known as the Awesome Twosome. Crockett: A lot of anticipation for the Awesome Twosome debut and as we all found out, they are under contract to the US Champion himself, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. Speaking of that, this weekend in Greensboro Dibiase, Rude and Fernandez will clash with Hacksaw Duggan and the Road Warriors. Let's hear what Ted Dibiase had to say, earlier this week from his home. Dibiase standing in front of a mansion Dibiase: (The laugh) I want all of you peons out there to take a good look at the mansion behind me. You see, when you have an extraordinary talent like myself, people pay me lots of money to use that talent. My talent is wrestling and because of my wrestling talent, I can afford a home like this. Most of you peons out there probably live in a shack or trailer and have no idea what I'm talking about, which is why I just cant relate to you minimum wage working Mid Atlantic grunts. Now Hacksaw Duggan is somebody I'm sure that can relate to you people. At the Great American Bash, I'm going to prove why I'm paid a lot more than he is when I put him down for good inside the steel cage. First things first, this Saturday Night in Greensboro we have a 6 man tag match. Duggan might of gone out and got the NWA World Champs, the Road Warriors, but Duggan you fool, I have the best team money can buy. Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez will prove that in Greensboro when they send the Road Warriors running with their tails between their legs. When that's over and done with, I go onto the Bash and get rid of you once and for all Duggan! I'll tell you one thing, Idol will show up in Greensboro. Speaking of Greensboro, Jimmy Snuka was set to defend the National Title against Bruiser Brody but due to booking conflicts, Brody will not be able to make it. However, we received word that Skandor Akbar heard about this and went to the NWA board of directors. Jimmy Snuka agreed to the defense. In Greensboro, Jimmy Snuka will defend the National Title against one of the most dangerous men in wrestling...Haku! Fans, that should be one heck of a fight. With me right now is the National Champ, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka. Jimmy, your thoughts. Snuka: David Crockett, I told you brotha that I would be a fighting champion and defend against anybody. At the Great American Bash, all the money in the world wont be able to save you from the beating you're going to get in that cage. All the money in the world isn't going to save you and your hired goons from the beating you're going to get in Greensboro at the hands of me and the Road Warriors. We're going to prove that money wont help you when you and your goons are getting the beating of a lifetime! Back in the Studio Crockett: Fans before we get to our open challenge TV Title main event, I'm afraid Rock Riddle has something to say. Come on out Rock. Riddle walks out smiling bright. Prichard is behind him, smiling with the TV title on his shoulder. Riddle: AWWWWW Davey Baby, loosen up, it's a fine day in the studio today, want to know why? Quiet and I'll tell you why. What other champion would put up his title in an open challenge match? Davey Baby, your silence proves my point. Prichard: (Laughs) Tell him Rock. You people are looking at a true A Lister baby. This here title says so and tonight I will back it up as I defend against some B level competition. If you're not in the Agency then your B level. Alright Rock, let's give the people a show. 11. So much happening! The TV title tournament has been non stop action and now we get Tully and Hennig next week. That should be a classic. Wahoo is another great opponent for Flair around the loop and we get to see the match on SNME. Russians get a brutal countout win over the Harts, setting up a rematch. I've really enjoyed this feud. The matches announced for Showdown at Shea would already get my money. You know it's a stacked card when a tornado match and stretcher match are not even the main events. Windham and Savage will put on another spectacle and that 6 man tag main event will be epic.
  12. The fans in Appleton got a huge show. I bet a lot of people were turned away as that HS must of been packed. Leduc and Garvin must of been an all out slugfest. Great segment with Adias and Sunny. Jacques and Orton would of been my money match. I also loved the Martel/Zenk match. Rare loss for Zenk. Tommy Lane is one tough dude, taking Kokina to a draw inside the cage. Rougeaus get a big win over Brito and Andre. Fun seeing the wackiness of the Borne character.
  13. Leon White showing some serious aggression. The Neighborhood of Evil is the perfect name for Sullivan's stable. I would pay a lot of money to watch a Death Sentence/Sheepherders match. Regal hands Cameron his first loss. I'm sure Cameron will be gunning for him in their upcoming tag match. Looks like Adnan has his sights set on Garvin. SpiveyMania continues to run wild but the injuries are mounting up.
  14. MACW Great American Bash 86 Update w/Bob Caudle Bob Caudle: Hello everybody and welcome to another Great American Bash update. As you know Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling will present it's Great American Bash event on July 2nd in Charlotte, NC at the Memorial Stadium. It should be a tremendous night of action. 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase will defend the United States Title against Hacksaw Jim Duggan, inside a steel cage! Newly crowned NWA World Champion Nikita Koloff will defend his title against the winner of the upcoming match between Austin Idol and Rob Fuller, that match will take place on June 7th in Greensboro. US tag team champions, Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley will defend their titles against the winners of the upcoming tag team battle royal. The battle royal will happen this week in Roanoke, VA. Highlights of that battle royal will be shown on the next televised edition of MACW. In what should be a wild match, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes clashes with Stan The Lariat Hansen. As you know, Ted Dibiase has put a bounty on Dusty Rhodes, and I know Stan Hansen is coming to collect. Last week, the battle lines were drawn and this match is set. Canadian International Champ Don Kernodle and the Caspian Empire will take on Corporal Kirchner and his allies, Jacques and Raymond Rougeau. A lot of history and hatred between all those involved. 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff defends the Mid Atlantic title against former champ Harley Race, in a No Disqualification Match. This has been one heated rivalry and I can only hope this match will settle things once and for all. Just announced, Rip Oliver accompanied by Paul Jones will take on the Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant. Paul Jones says he will not rest until he rids Mid Atlantic of Jimmy Valiant. As you all know, Tony St. Clair has issued a challenge to Abdullah the Butcher and Tiger Jeet Singh. Tony says he has the perfect partner. Well fans, we don't have to wait any longer. Let's take you to Tony St. Clair and find out who his partner will be. In a Locker Room St. Clair: Abdullah and Singh! You gave me a pretty good beating but I'm back and ready to go! I have found a partner who will stand by my side and fight with me. Oh, he's a man that both of you know very well. My partner at the Great American Bash will be the legend himself...Antonio Inoki! Back in the Control Center Bob Caudle: My goodness! I don't think Tony St. Clair could of chose a better partner. That should be one barnburner of a match. I cant wait for Abdullah and Singh to respond to this. Unbelievable! Fans, we also know Jimmy Snuka will defend the NWA National Title and Tom Prichard will defend the TV title. I will officially announce their opponents next week. As if that wasn't enough, I have one more blockbuster announcement. At the Great American Bash, we will have a very special AWA showcase match. Ricky Steamboat will defend the AWA World Title against Jerry Blackwell! Mid Atlantic is very excited and pleased to present this match to our great fans. The Great American Bash is shaping up to be one historic event. Don't forget to stick around for the fireworks show afterwards. Fans, I'll see you next week. Great American Bash 86, Charlotte NC, Memorial Stadium 7-2-86 NWA World Title Bout Nikita Koloff © vs. Austin Idol or Rob Fuller United States Title Bout- Steel Cage 'Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase © vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan US Tag Team Title Bout Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley © vs. Winners of the Tag Team Battle Royal Mid Atlantic Title Bout- NO DQ 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff © vs. Harley Race 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes vs. Stan 'The Lariat' Hansen Corporal Kirchner/Rougeau Brothers vs. Canadian International Champ Don Kernodle/Caspian Empire Tony St. Clair and Antonio Inoki vs. WWC Champ Abdullah the Butcher and Tiger Jeet Singh 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant vs. Rip Oliver w/Paul Jones NWA National Title Bout MACW TV Title Bout And AWA World Title Bout Ricky Steamboat © vs. Jerry Blackwell
  15. You nailed that promo with Ivan Koloff, that's exactly how I remember him talking. Magnum, Ole and Baba are taking on everybody, leading to all sorts of great angles. I like seeing a fired up Brad Armstrong. I'm intrigued by the Nikita/Baba match coming up. I wonder if Nikita will be able to take Baba down with the sickle. Wright's Army is looking pretty strong. Awesome ending with Bullet Bob coming out.
  16. Life happens Rain, looking forward to your next show.
  17. I've said this before but I love your house shows because they're so different and I mean that in a good way. Where else could we see Gino Brito teaming with the Ultimate Warrior? That Borne/OMG match must of been one hard hitting brawl. Satanico bounces back from a loss and wins the battle royal. Southern Ramblers looked like they hung in there for a bit against the Road Warriors. I might have to do a rematch in Mid Atlantic. I think Adidas could do pretty well in Lutte.
  18. Oh Wow! What a way to end the show! Did not see Adonis coming in. This is huge! Honky Tonk is in full guitar swinging mode now. I love this build towards Lawler. I agree, I think Missy might of bitten of more than she can chew, messing with Baby Doll. Tatum and Landell led by Johnny V, could lead to gold. Seeds are planted for the Great American Bash between RnR, Taylor, The Midnights and Slater.
  19. I really love the old school build to a Supercard. I miss those days where there would be 3 months of anticipation to a huge event, so it's great to see you doing it here in WWC. Batteries and Rocks, being a heel in WWC is not an easy job LOL. Colon seems to be making progress, I wonder if he will be ready by July 5th? The Batten Twins on the Sports Shop was hilarious. Man, I cant wait for TNT/Singh, I have a feeling something big is going to happen there. Invaders/Los Pastores will be one heck of a brawl. Santana defending against Owen is a great addition. Another wild and chaotic end to the main event, adding more heat to the feuds. The tag team scene here is top notch.
  20. Updated MACW Trade Block Jeff Sword (Bar Room Brawler) Doug Vines (Bar Room Brawler)
  21. This looks really cool and brings a whole new dynamic to this game. Sherri was my all time favorite, so it's great seeing her with the 4 Horsemen and it will be awesome to see her wrestling here. Looking forward to June 28th.
  22. I'm really having a lot of fun with Rheingans because it's such a contrast from real life. Rheingans has the perfect background for this type of character I had in mind.
  23. Totally agree! There is so much good stuff happening. I look forward to reading everybody's shows, week in and week out. This is going to be one hot summer of wrestling action!

  25. Wow! I had to catch my breath after reading the Parade of Champions card. What a night of surprises. Parson's was right, everybody will be talking about this. Ladd makes a huge impact and the Revolution has started. Brotherhood already gets them some gold. Road Warriors have a strong showing in Texas with a defense over the Fab Ones. Man oh Man, Dusty could be in serious trouble. He might of got the win over Hansen but he sure took a beating from the Freebirds. With that bounty, it might take Dusty a long time to get to Dibiase. Kerry Von Erich finally closes the chapter on Studd by winning the North American Title. Main Event ends in chaos! It's going to be one hot summer in Texas.
