Dynamite's the guy you want in the opener. Definitely gets the fans warmed up This is a solid win for Rich. He beats a creditable heel and gets the fans behind him Same thing for Garvin. Beating Budro in this area gives Garvin a lot of steam Oh man, Dutch might be laughing now but Bullet is going to lay the law down big time after that despicable stunt I can just imagine the fans being totally invested in the wild 6 man tag. This feud is far from over We knew people were going to bleed in the chain match and these 4 guys delivered. This win puts TNT on a different level. They might be pretty but now everybody knows how tough they are Gordy and Hansen put it all out there and give the people everything they could ask for. A rematch could give SMW a sold out arena.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 8-7-91 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight, you'll see the AWA world tag team champs, Mil Mascaras and El Canek. For a TV title shot at the next Title Night in Winnipeg, Al Perez goes up against Rip Morgan. Los Boricuas takes on the Tribal Nation. AWA 6-Man champs, Demolition will be in action. Commissioner Magnum TA will be here with a big announcement. All that and a lot more, so let's get to the ring. 'Maniac' Matt Borne vs. Samson Smith Borne comes to the ring wearing his beanie and jean shorts while holding up his axhandle. Borne beats his opponent down and finishes things off with the Northern Exposure. Borne cuts a promo and says he ran that so called tough guy Sam Houston out of town and then challenges more tough guys to get in the ring with him. Commercial Break Scott 'Flash' Norton w/Ted Arcidi vs. Trent Watkins Arcidi's loud and boisterous on the outside as Norton pummels his opponent. Norton hits the powerslam and it's all over. Nelson: Ok Ted, it's official, your man Scott Norton will get a shot at the AWA International title in 2 weeks at Title Night. Arcidi: Well, it's about damn time Scott Norton gets some respect around here! I feel so sorry for you Konnan. Tell them Scotty! Norton: Konnan! Get ready for the beating of your life! That title is mine and I'm gonna take it! Arcidi and Norton do some more yelling and laughing before leaving. Nelson looks at them like they're crazy. Commercial Break Los Boricuas vs. The Tribal Nation Both teams are coming off big wins at WrestleRock and want to get into the title picture. They waste no time tonight as the first few minutes are back and forth hard hitting action. Tribal Nation take control as they do a number on Miguel. Chris holds Miguel as Mark comes off the top rope with a tomahawk chop 1..2..Kick Out. Miguel weathers the storm and eventually makes the tag to Castillo. Castillo gets things in Boricuas favor as they work over Mark. Castillo slams Mark as Miguel hits an elbow drop from the top rope 1..2..Chris runs in to break it. A pier six brawl breaks out. During the melee the bell sounds signaling a ten minute draw. The bell keeps ringing but the brawl is still going. Commercial Break Nelson: Wow, as you just saw, the tag team competition here in the AWA is at an all time high. Fans, joining me now is the Commissioner Magnum TA. Magnum, I know you have a lot to talk about so go right ahead. Magnum: Thank you Larry. Things are really moving in the AWA and honestly, I'm still on a high from WrestleRock. However, the AWA is ready to move forward in an exciting way. In 2 weeks, Title Night will take place in Winnipeg. Last week the Guerreros were announced as the number one world tag team contenders. Due to a scheduling conflict, they won't be able to get their shot at Title Night but will get their shot in the near future. As for Title Night, the RPMs will take on Canek and Mascaras for the world tag titles. That should be a great match for sure. Now, we all saw what happened to Gama Singh last week at the hands of that lunatic Norman. Gama suffered a couple broken ribs but insisted he will be at Title Night to defend his title. I tried to talk him out of it but like I said, he insisted. So, as of now, he'll be defending his title against the winner of tonight's Al Perez/Rip Morgan match. And finally, added to Title Night will be a 4 man gauntlet match to determine the number one contender to the AWA world title. The 4 men that have been chosen are The Magnificent Muraco, Bad News Brown, Dick Slater and Art Barr. I want to note that the Big Bossman would've been in this match but due to injuries sustained by Col Debeers and the Hangman at WrestleRock, he's unfortunately still out of action. Title Night is set and you won't want to miss it. Commercial Break The Barbarian vs. Neil Jordan Poor Neil Jordan gets the beating of his life. Barbarian puts him out of his misery with a diving clothesline from the top rope! Nelson: Wow! The Barbarian has already taken the AWA by storm... Boooooooos as Greg Gagne walks out. Nelson: (rolls his eyes) Greg, what are you doing here? Gagne: Shut up Nerd and just listen! At WrestleRock, everybody witnessed the biggest and luckiest fluke in wrestling history. Nelson: (smiling) Are you referring to Bobby Blaze pinning your ace? Gagne: I said shut up! (calms down) It was a major fluke, plain and simple. From now on, no more games and no more playing nice guy. My ace is in Sweden training harder than ever. I'm out here to simply say, we want a rematch with Bobby Blaze and if he has the guts, he'll accept. But listen up Bobby Boy! Lighting won't strike twice and we can guarantee that! I'm out of here. Commercial Break The Mavericks vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Young and Storm look more confident than ever. Young puts Lopez down with a bulldog from the second rope and tags in Storm. Storm swings Lopez to the ropes and hits the spere for the win. The Mavericks cut a promo and say that now their business with Austin Idol is over, they're looking at a chance for some tag team gold. Commercial Break Bad News Brown vs. Ray Glader Brown rips apart his opponent and ends it with the ghetto blaster! Nelson: Bad News Brown, at WrestleRock, it was obvious the match against Maxx Payne didn't matter to you. Brown: That was just to show that when you mess with me, it's bad news for you! Speaking of bad news, at Title Night, I'm going in there for one reason and one reason only and that's to stake my claim for the world title which means that's a lot of bad news for those three other slouches! Commercial Break Winner gets an AWA TV title shot at Title Night Al Perez vs. Rip Morgan w/The Equalizer Perez starts off quick by taking down Morgan with hip tosses and dropkicks. The tide changes when Equalizer trips Perez allowing Morgan to work over Perez. Morgan chokes Perez on the ropes. During the break, Equalizer reaches in and chokes Perez. Morgan slams Perez's head on the turnbuckle, swings him to the ropes and hits a big boot to the face 1..2..Perez gets his shoulder up. Morgan swings Perez to the corner and charges in but Perez moves. Perez fires up. He hops on the turnbuckles and punches down on Morgan as the fans count along. Perez grabs Morgan and hits a hanging suplex. Perez swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Equalizer hops on the apron. Perez goes over and nails him with a punch. Perez turns around as Morgan rakes his eyes. Morgan pounds down on Perez. Equalizer stands up on the apron. Morgan swings Perez towards him but Perez reverses it and swings Morgan into Equalizer. Morgan staggers into a bridging back suplex by Perez 1..2..3! An excited Perez cuts a promo and wishes his brother a speedy recovery from knee surgery. Perez then says he's excited to face Gama at Title Night and hopes he'll be in good health by then. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs Mil Mascaras and El Canek vs. William Hillman and Todd Rooney The champs are in total sync tonight. Canek holds Rooney up in a suplex position as Mascaras hits a flying press from the top rope for the win! The fans cheer as Canek and Mascaras hold up the titles. Man, I really enjoy these behind-the -scenes reports. I can totally see the different sides of having Hogan back. One thing's for sure, he has a lot of heels he can draw money with. Another thing I find very interesting is what Dusty's creative mind will come up with in this WWF world. His head must be spinning with Hogan, Flair, Funk, Lawler, Von Erich and Dibiase.

Fire cat vs. Broda is exactly the kind of match to kick off the UWF I never would've thought we would ever see Bruno and Madril bantering. This segment was pure gold. It's so good seeing both of them back in our game. Madril's comedy will fit in so well while Bruno seems like the only man who stands a chance of keeping the UWF in order. The Power Twins could rule this place especially if they get Ellering in their corner More great stuff as the Desperados makes their way to the UWF. Vampire and Luna take the show on a dark turn I was wondering when we would see the Destruction Crew turn into the Beverly Brothers. Here comes Blake and Beau Solid main event to end the show. Curtis and Link together will be insane Great first show. This is going to be a lot of fun

I agree with AD. The Les/Dutch bantering was hilarious tonight. Then the segment with Bullet was icing on the cake LOL It's good to see Tommy Rich back on the right path. The build to the double Russian chain match was very well done. I know Garvin still has a lot left in the tank. He'll have some good brawls here I have a feeling Austin's partner will be bad news for Dutch but at least he has Bundy backing him up. Sherri does a sensational job getting her team over even though we don't know who they are yet Gordy vs. Hansen will ROCK! Gotta love the chaotic ending. More heat for Fire on the Mountain

What a card! Oleg and Vrij had a heated brawl! The rematch will be money! Funaki's on a serious roll and should be considered for a future title shot Shamrock's brute strength comes through again. Damn, he's strong The Koslowskis retain again. It's going to be hard getting the titles off these brothers Good grief, Karelin returned with a vengeance and totally dominated Sayama had his working boots on but Fujinami was in the zone. His dragon suplex always gets the job done Time for the most anticipated main event in UWF history. Huge respect for Maeda. No other human could've withstood that punishment. I was just as stunned as the audience. Vader might've had the biggest week in our game's history. No doubt about it, It's Vader time!

I really liked how you used the Main Event show, giving the new stars a platform and setting up the Owen injury. I'm sure this got a few last minute buys for the Bash. After a chaotic and crazy feud, the Freebirds finally put an end to the RnR Express Smith's mind was elsewhere and Tenryu took full advantage. York International looks incredibly strong right now Simmons puts a stamp on Reed and also gets a lot of satisfaction putting Long down as well. This could be the start of a great babyface run for Simmons. I'll say it again, the slow burn build for the Undertaker has been really well done. He's establishing his dark, menacing and eerie gimmick and man it's getting over. Damn, Hall made a statement tonight! I wonder how Pillman will recover from this Poor Paul Diamond. Awesome debut for Vader. Watch out WCW! I figured the US tag title match would be a show stealer and it was. Goes to a double c.o. but Paul E takes the mist. Gotta love JR's humor. Steiners solidify themselves as the best with that win over the Road Warriors. Dustin's on his A game but Rude's on another level right now. Steiners vs. Nasty Boys! Bring it on! IRL, their match at Halloween Havoc was one of my favorites so I'm excited for this one. Well done angle with Missy and the Nasties. Luger and Sid put it all out there. Hell of a shot by Race that gives Sid the win. Can't wait to see what's next. The world title bout was insane. It's too bad Hennig hurt his back. If his back was ok, Paul E's cash in would've been brilliant. Instead, not a smart move. Sting retains twice and Paul E will have a lot of explaining to do with Hennig. Great show. A lot of grudges settled, storylines advancing, new threats rising and young talent is coming in.

Headbangers seem to be gaining more and more buzz Billy wins a battle in the feud Props to Wright for staying focused and putting on a clinic with Candido Big V continues to earn his money with Cornette I can see the styles of PCO and Sabu meshing well. This could be a gem feud for PCW Jericho keeps hos momentum going Vancouver Fastball gets a confidence building win Speaking of confidence builders, huge finish and win for Lynn! Slaughter has found himself some more dependable allies After more than a year with the TV title, I can understand why Busick may be slowing down. Hart gets the quick pin on Adams. I could just imagine the frustration on Adam's face No doubt about it, Williams will get another title shot Modest taking Dragon to the limit says a lot With things even, I'm sure another hard hitting tag match is coming If it takes a second rope piledriver to put him down, that makes Guido a tough guy in my opinion Not sure if even the Sinister can control Taz. He's out of control! Albright continues his dominance After that, I wouldn't be surprised if the FOJ offer Scotty and Stevie a title shot just to get their hands on them Damn, Phoenix Firestorm is stacked! We hope you enjoyed last week's WrestleRock recap and the Hulk Hogan tribute. This week we're back live and ready for action. The AWA world champion, Kokina along with Adnan Al-Kassie will be here. We have the debut of JT Southern. After months of eerie footage and sounds, Norman will finally make his AWA appearance. All that and a lot more, so let's get to the ring. JT Southern vs. Todd Rooney JT comes to the ring playing his own theme song on his guitar. He's wearing shades and David Lee Roth type ring gear. JT looks pretty good in his debut and is full of heel energy as he takes numerous cheap shots. JT hits a gut buster and goes to the middle ropes. Rooney gets to his knees as JT crashes down with a flying leg drop that plants Rooney's face into the mat 1..2..3! JT looks into the camera and yells "That's how it's done!" Commercial Break The Guerreros vs. Samson Smith and Gordon Loomis The Guerreros are full of themselves tonight and take it to their opponents before finishing things off with a double gourdbuster. Nelson: Well, after your controversial win over the Bombers at WrestleRock, the AWA has declared the two of you number one contenders to the world tag team titles. Chavo: First off Nelson, what do you mean controversial? We did exactly what we said we were going to do. We beat those British bloopers fair a square! Hector: And now we've been rightfully rewarded. So, Canek, Mascaras, enjoy your short title reign because the Guerreros are coming for you which means those titles are ours! Commercial Break Bobby Blaze vs. Trent Watkins After Bobby's big upset over Gagne's ace at WrestleRock, the fans give Bobby a whole lot of love tonight. He takes it all in and wins the match with the Northern Lights Suplex. The camera picks up a shot of Greg Gagne standing at the top of the aisle. He's giving Bobby a pissed off look while shaking his head as to say I can't believe this guy beat my Ace. While this is happening, the fans heckle Gagne quite a bit. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, we're about ready to see Norman in action... A man wearing a white mask and white suit leads Norman to ringside. Nelson: May I ask who you are and what your relationship is with Norman? Man: My identity is not important. You may refer to me as Dr. X. I have been helping Norman progress and my professional opinion is he's now ready to compete. Dr. X looks at Norman and calmly says "Norman, destroy" Norman w/Dr. X vs. Carl Kellerman Norman just mauls his opponent before easily finishing him off with the Monster Mash (front slam) Dr. X leads Norman back to ringside. Dr. X: I have turned Norman into an unstoppable force... Cheers as TV champ Gama Singh comes out. He gives Norman a sad look. Gama: Makhan? Makhan? What has happened to you? It's me, Gama. Please Makhan, let me help you. Norman: My name is Norman! Norman charges and mows Gama down! Norman picks up Gama and rams his back into the steel post several times! Norman picks up Gama and delivers a Monster Mash on the concrete! Norman looks at Dr. X. Dr. X gives him a nod. Norman picks up Gama and delivers another Monster Mash on the concrete! Dr. X calmly escorts Norman out of there. Medics rush the scene. Moments later, Gama is stretchered out. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, we just witnessed a very disturbing sight. Gama Singh has been rushed to the hospital and hopefully we'll have an update on his condition very soon. (deep breath) ok, please welcome out the new AWA International champion, Konnan. Konnan comes out looking dapper in his blue satin shirt and black pants. The title is on his shoulder. Nelson: Konnan, congratulations on winning the International title at WrestleRock. A lot of people were impressed with your sportsmanship after the match. Konnan: Thank you Larry. (looks down, then out at all the fans) You know, I did a lot of things the last year I haven't been proud of. I was too consumed with being the best International wrestling star that I took a lot of shortcuts. Right now, I want to thank Leo Burke. Leo reminded me what this sport is all about. We went all out at WrestleRock and that's the way it should be. No shortcuts, no breaking the rules, just two competitors giving it their best for this prestigious title. I'm here to say that I will defend this title with honor and I'm ready for all challengers. The era of Konnan has begun. The fans respect this and cheer as Konnan holds his title high. Commercial Break We see an ad for the next Title Night in Winnipeg next month. Iceman Parsons w/Jackie vs. Ray Glader Parsons is very aggressive tonight and tears his opponent apart before winning the match with the Hip Attack! Nelson: Jackie, at WrestleRock... Jackie: Shut your mouth Larry! At WrestleRock, my man Iceman got cheated Parsons: That's right! As far as I'm concerned, Gama Singh got what he deserved tonight! Jackie: And listen up RPM's, because of you two sorry fools, TCB have left the area. Trust me when I say this, your payback is coming! More boos as Austin Idol and Bill Dundee strut out. Colonel Debeers is back in the AWA and calling the shots! The Ultimate Warrior vs. Jason Cavat The fans get a high energy burst as Warrior sprints to the ring. The fans are all into it as Warrior pinballs his opponent and finishes him off with the press slam/splash! Nelson: Warrior, you and Kerry Von Erich truly battled it out at WrestleRock. Warrior: I came here for a purpose and that was to be the one and only Ultimate Warrior! I salute you Kerry Von Erich! You took me to the deepest depths I needed to go. You tested me like no other. Because of you, I accomplished my mission. And now I stand here in the AWA as the Ultimate Warriorrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! The fans are up and cheering! Commercial Break Nelson: Ok fans, joining me now is Adnan Al-Kassie and the AWA world champion, Kokina. Adnan is in his Sheik attire. Kokina walks out looking like a beast with the title on his shoulder. Nelson: Adnan, Kokina walked out of WrestleRock with the world title although some say Chicky Starr had an assist. Larry jumps back when Kokina roars at him. Adnan: Larry Nelson, you and all Americans love to make excuses. Kokina went into Carlos Colon's homeland and destroyed him. There is no question about that! There is no one who can defeat Kokina. No one! Nelson: I'm not arguing that. Kokina is beyond impressive. However, up next at Title Night, he'll be defending the AWA world title against Demolition Smash one third of the AWA 6 Man champions and a real powerhouse. Adnan: His power is no match for Kokina! Everybody says Demolition are real tough and love to beat people up. Kokina doesn't just beat people up, he annihilates them! Just ask Carlos Colon. At Title Night, Kokina will demolish a member of Demolition! Kokina lets out another roar as he holds his title high.

Bob Armstrong knows how to draw a crowd. Smart move by bringing in territory favorites Horner's recovered and quickly gets on the winning track Rich vs. Sawyer never got old for me. I would've bought a ticket to see this for sure Great way to keep the TNT/Murdoch, Ivan feud going. I hope that chain shot was worth the fine Excellent job with the battle royal write up. I know these are difficult to do. This was easy to follow and keep track of everything going down. This was a lot of fun. Smothers coming in with a 2x4 was great stuff. They call him Stan the Man for a reason. Strong way to win the battle royal by eliminating both IRS and Bundy Wahoo and Gordy did the best they could and I'm sure the fans were satisfied. Oh man, now we're going to get Gordy vs. Hansen! This will bring in the big bucks

Damn, Alexandra York has put together one of the greatest international stables ever No doubt about it, Reed and Simmons are going to put on one hard hitting match Looks like the Dangerous Alliance have some serious momentum going into the Bash. Hmmmmm, I wonder what Heyman has up his sleeve I have a feeling the Freebirds are going to pay at the Bash I wouldn't want to be DDP Sid and Luger have strong go home showcases but Sid's was also frightening Sting ends the show on a high note and looks strong as world champ I'm so ready for the Bash!

First off, props to you on all the promos. You sure know how to write them. The night starts off with a bang with the arrival of Dusty Rhodes! Him and Don will be gold together Not exactly a hot opener but Tugboat walks out with a win. We'll see how Bravo recovers from this There's something about a high octane Z-Man aligning with grizzled vets like Valentine and Orton that works so well. They prove it with a big 6 Man win. I believe Gary Hart knows what he's doing Dynamite and Mountie go the distance in a thriller. Rematch! Spivey proves to be a great enforcer as P&G retain. I love these guys After a scare, Earthquake is able to take the fired up Tatanka down. HOLD ON! Kerry Von Erich has arrived and wants that IC title! I can imagine the pop when Tom Sawyer played. It only took one miscue but it was enough for Flair to walk out and leave Lawler at the mercy of his enemies. Lawler wont let this go and this may come back to bite Flair at SummerSlam. It was all about the cage match and Jake and Nikita certainly delivered. Loved that DDT ending. This is where things went insane. The beatdown, Andre shocking the fans with the turn. It looked like the night was going to end on a big time downer. UNTIL, the return of Hulk Hogan! This is huge! So many possibilities here. A true game changer. Hulkamania is back in the WWF and all is right. Awesome show

Deseret Storm! Let's do this Man, the Midnights look strong with all three standing at the end. Loved that finish with Condrey hitting Slaughter with the full nelson facebuster on the outside Taz takes his gimmick to another level. Lightning Kid has his moments. I'm glad Busick got his Spinebuster Slam in before being eliminated. Eddie has guaranteed himself a TV title shot. Douglas looked extremely strong. In the end, RVD and Eddie make the Sinister proud Wow, it all came down to PCO and Finlay and these guys sure put a stamp on the feud. PCO finally finishes things off. Respect to both sides. This is what a finale is all about The odd couple Piper and Candido have reason to celebrate. LOL, I cracked up picturing Rose bailing. Classic Rose. Albright looked like a beast. Savage gets his visual elbow in but I think Lee had one of the biggest moments of the night by eliminating Savage. Windham and the Thrillseekers worked so well in the end. I'm sure Martel isn't finished with Windham. The last match was hard hitting and stiff. Williams and Kawada keep their program hot. Adams had a strong showing but in the end, Bigelow was just too much to handle. Hart and Bigelow survive and send the fans home happy. After tonight, Kawada will have a lot of contenders lining up for a shot.

This week in the AWA This week's TV show was a WrestleRock recap. Larry Nelson and Ken Resnick ran down the highlights from Puerto Rico and Minnesota. They congratulated new International champ, Konnan and the new world tag champs, Mil Mascaras and El Canek. They also congratulated TV champ Gama Singh, 6-Man champs Demolition and AWA world champ, Kokina for retaining their titles. And now for the big news. Well, it's official, Hulk Hogan has left the AWA. It was announced on the recap show after showing highlights of him taking down Gerry Morrow in the cage. An hour was dedicated to showing highlights of Hogan's time in the AWA. Included was his world title win over Jumbo Tsuruta. Highlights of his title defenses were shown against the likes of Terry Gordy, Tatsumi Fujinami, Nikita Koloff and Stan Hansen. His feud with Ric Flair was showcased along with his triumph at War Games. Hogan took the AWA to heights never before seen. Because of Hogan, the AWA was able to secure the Sports America TV deal. His movie No Holds Barred, along with Hogan's celebrity connections, brought even more attention to the AWA. Nelson and Resnick thanked Hogan for everything and wished him only the very best. Behind the scenes, the AWA praised Hogan on honoring his contract to the very end. Even with all the stressful negotiations going on, Hogan went above and beyond to end his AWA run on a high note and pack the Metrodome at WrestleRock, which meant big bucks for the AWA. Long live Hulkamania! However, the hard part is coming. Will the AWA be able to continue this unbelievable momentum. The doubts are growing because not only did Hogan leave but Kerry Von Erich also departed. This came as a surprise because the AWA had high hopes with Kerry as a main event babyface. Some people think because everybody was so focused on the Hogan dealings, they let Kerry slip away. Kerry and the Ultimate Warrior were getting high praise for their epic match at WrestleRock. Then, just a couple days later, Kerry went in the offices to turn in his resignation. It appears he got an offer he couldn't refuse. So, with the losses of Hogan and Von Erich, it looks like the rocket will be strapped to the Ultimate Warrior. Verne's on board but does have some reservations about Warrior's unusual behavior. Verne will test the waters with Warrior because he knows a main event match with Kokina down the line will bring in serious money. And it wouldn't be right if Gerry Morrow wasn't mentioned. Morrow has had quite the history with the AWA. He surprised many by getting himself so over that he eventually main evented the biggest event of the year with the biggest star in wrestling. He deserves a ton of credit for making WrestleRock a tremendous success. He definitely has a place in AWA history. As for the AWA world champ, Kokina, so far so good with a monster heel champion. Him and Colon sold out Puerto Rico and there's a pretty good list of contenders with Bossman, Muraco and Bad News Brown standing in line for a title shot. In other news, Lou Perez suffered a knee injury and will be out of action for a bit. Tom Prichard also sustained an injury which leaves his Heavenly Body partner, Jimmy Del Ray in limbo. Tommy Rich, Ron Garvin, Mr. Saito and Maxx Payne have all left the AWA. This was expected as they were all paid per appearances up until WrestleRock. Look for the Barbarian to get a big push and big things are expected for Norman. Also, another planned event will be scheduled in Puerto Rico with a Carlos Colon/Chicky Starr grudge match headlining. The remainder of 1991 will look a lot different, that's for sure. The AWA seems confident with some big veteran names but also want to start pushing some youth to prepare for the future.

Sleek WrestleRock banners hang from the rafters and HulkaMania signs are everywhere. We get a shot of the ring. The WrestleRock logo is on each side of the apron. Larry Nelson is standing on the AWA logo in the middle of the ring. Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to night 2 of Wrestlerock! It's my honor to introduce the lady who will be kicking things off for us tonight. Here to sing America the Beautiful, a true Motown legend, Gladys Knight! Gladys looks like she's having the time of her life as she gets in the groove and sings one heck of a rendition. She finishes and the fans keep standing for an extended ovation. Gladys has some fun with the fans then exits. Nelson is at ringside. Nelson: Tremendous night of action ahead. I've been asked about Hulk Hogan and all I can say is nobody has seen him arrive yet. (sighs) I understand Gerry Morrow has purchased some time and we'll now hear from Morrow. We go out to the parking lot as Gerry Morrow steps out of his limo. He's wearing a white suit, fedora and sunglasses. Morrow: AHHHHHHH, it is no surprise dat Mr. Hogan has not shown up here at de WerestleRock. Did I not tell all of you. AHHHHHH but do not worry, I will gladly go to de ring later on to accept my forfeit victory in order to have de grandest celebratory toast in wrestling history. The Missouri Tiger vs. Scott 'Flash' Norton w/Ted Arcidi Queen's Another One Bites The Dust plays as Arcidi leads Norton to the ring. These guys are loud and obnoxious as they yell at the fans. The Missouri State fight song blasts as Tiger jogs to the ring, slapping the fans hands. Tiger gets in the ring. Arcidi and Norton start berating him. Tiger takes off his football jersey and throws it at them. The bell rings, Tiger sprints over and takes both men down with a running tackle! Arcidi rolls out of the ring. Tiger grabs Norton and slams his head on the turnbuckle several times. Tiger grabs Norton by his hair, runs with him and slams Norton's head on the opposite turnbuckle. Norton staggers as Tiger scoop slams him down 1..2..Kick Out. Tiger swings Norton to the ropes and back drops him. Norton staggers up as Tiger clotheslines him down 1..2..Kick out. Tiger swings Norton into the corner and follows with a running back elbow smash. Tiger swings Norton to the opposite corner. Arcidi gets on the apron but Tiger drops him with a punch. Tiger charges Norton in the corner but Norton moves as Tiger crashes into the turnbuckles. Norton backs up and clears the cobwebs. Tiger staggers out as Norton drops him with a devastating clothesline. Norton picks up Tiger and slams him down hard. Norton picks up Tiger and executes a gut wrench backbreaker 1..2..Kick Out. Norton hoists Tiger up and drops him with a shoulder breaker 1..2..Kick Out. Norton starts pounding and choking Tiger. Norton picks up Tiger and delivers a Uranage slam 1..2..Tiger gets his foot on the rope. A frustrated Norton hurls Tiger to the outside. Arcidi runs over and kicks Tiger. The Ref starts the count, Tiger slowly gets on the apron. Norton goes over but Tiger nails him with several forearm blasts and snaps Norton's head on the top rope. Tiger regroups and pumps up. Tiger's fired up. Norton staggers up as Tiger unloads on him with punches, swings off the ropes and clotheslines Norton down. Tiger swings Norton to the ropes and back drops him. Norton staggers up as Tiger dropkicks him down 1..2..Kick Out. Tiger goes to the top rope. Norton staggers up as Tiger nails him with his flying shoulder tackle 1..2..NO! Arcidi reaches in and puts Norton's foot on the rope. Tiger gets up and starts yelling down at Arcidi. Arcidi keeps him occupied as Norton gathers his senses. Norton clubs Tiger from behind. Norton swings Tiger to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Tiger swings back and goes for a flying press but in an incredible show of strength, Norton catches him and powerslams him over 1..2..3!! Arcidi gets in the ring and raises Norton's arm. Norton and Arcidi celebrate with boisterous laughs and more yelling. Winner of The Match- Scott Norton Bobby Blaze vs. 'The Ace' Frank Andersson w/Greg Gagne Lynyrd Skynyrd's Saturday Night Special plays as Bobby Blaze hits the ring wearing his white jacket with orange flames. The Swedish National Anthem blasts. Greg Gagne walks out in a sweatsuit, holding a towel. He pauses and starts yelling at some ring attendants to hurry up. The attendants come out and actually roll out a red carpet down the aisle. Gagne nods and shoos them away. Gagne steps aside. His Ace walks out wearing a Sweden Olympic sweatsuit. His numerous medals hang around his neck. Ace looks around with a smug look. Gagne leads him to the ring. The bell rings. Blaze is ready to go but Gagne tells him to back off. Gagne takes the Medals off Ace. Ace slowly takes his sweatsuit off, revealing his Swede wrestling singlet. Gagne pats Ace's forehead with the towel. Gagne smiles and looks over at Blaze then yells "Are you sure you want to go through with this kid? The Ref finally gets Gagne to leave the ring. Ace starts toying with Blaze and plays some mind games before locking up. They finally lock up and Ace takes Blaze over with an arm drag. Ace starts jogging in place with an arrogant smile. They lock up again and Ace takes Blaze over with a fireman's carry. Ace hops up and jogs in place as Gagne applauds and yells "This is too easy" They lock up again but this time Blaze takes Ace over with an arm drag. Ace is embarrassed, quickly gets up and charges but Blaze hip tosses him over. Ace gets up as Blaze dropkicks him through the ropes! Gagne quickly runs over and fans Ace with his towel. The fans cheer as Blaze runs in place and pumps his fists. Ace slowly gets in the ring, the smug smile is gone and the focus is there. Ace nails Blaze with a forearm shot and follows with several European uppercuts. Ace grabs Blaze and hits a snap suplex, then follows with an overhead suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Ace grabs Blaze and hits a German Suplex and follows with a vertical suplex. Ace's smugness returns. He slowly picks up Blaze and delivers a delayed vertical suplex. Ace walks over to the apron. Gagne is all smiles as he pats Ace's forehead with his towel. Ace walks back to Blaze, hoists him up and delivers an overhead suplex. Ace clamps a headlock on Blaze and starts slapping his head around just to humiliate him. Ace swings Blaze to the ropes and back drops him. Ace waits. Blaze staggers up as Ace puts him down with a well timed dropkick. Ace starts doing jumping jacks as the fans boo. Ace walks over to the apron. Gagne towels him off and says "This is easier than I thought" Gagne and Ace share a laugh. Gagne tells Ace to "Teach him a lesson and take it home" Ace says "No problem" Ace turns around but Blaze springs up, kicks Ace in the mid section and follows with a Northern Lights Suplex 1..2..3!!! Unbelievable POP! The fans are cheering as Blaze rolls out of the ring full of excitement. Gagne can't believe it. He's in a state of shock. Ace gets to his knees. He looks totally humiliated. Gagne gets in the ring and starts berating the Ref. The Ref smiles and shrugs his shoulders. The reality sets in on Gagne. He starts crying and throwing a tantrum. Ace hangs his head in shame. While all that's going on, Blaze is enjoying his moment while celebrating with the cheering fans. Winner of The Match- Bobby Blaze 'Tidal Wave' Tommy Jammer vs. A Mystery Opponent The Surfaris Wipe Out plays as Jammer runs to the ring. Jammer warms up as he waits for his opponent. The ring announcer receives a note. "His opponent, THE BARBARIAN" The Barbarian walks out wearing antlers on his head, a huge fur cloak and fur over his boots. The fans watch in awe as the menacing sight enters the ring. He takes off his gear and shows off his huge physique. The bell rings. Jammer looks cautious then moves in. They lock up and Barbarian literally heaves Jammer into the turnbuckles. Barbarian runs in with a clothesline. Jammer collapses in the corner. Barbarian swings Jammer to the ropes and hits a diving head twist. Barbarian hurls Jammer out of the ring. Jammer's out of it but manages to get back on the apron in time. Barbarian grabs Jammer's head and pulls him up and in. Jammer's legs are on the ropes. Barbarian holds him there and delivers a rope hung neckbreaker. Barbarian slowly walks over and goes to the top rope. Jammer takes a while but finally rises. Jammer is in a daze. He turns around and nearly gets decapitated by a top rope clothesline! 1..2..3! WOW! What a debut! The Winner of The Match- The Barbarian The Mavericks vs. 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol and Superstar Bill Dundee Joan Jett's Do You Want To Touch Me blasts as Idol and Dundee walk out in colorful sparkling vests and tie dye pants. Blonde's One Way Or Another plays as the Mavericks head to the ring wearing matching silver jackets with 'Mavericks' written in cursive letters on the back. The bell rings. Idol and Dundee are laughing and trying to decide who wants to start things out. The Mavericks run over and hammer away on them. The punches reign down. The Mavericks swing Idol and Dundee to the ropes and put them down with stereo back elbow smashes. The Mavericks hurl Dundee over the top rope. The Ref gets control. Young goes to work on Idol. Young swings Idol to the ropes and back drops him. Idol staggers up as Young kicks him and delivers a gut wrench suplex. Young tags in Storm. They swing Idol into the corner and each take a turn delivering a running shoulder thrust. Storm is all over Idol in the corner with forearm clubs. Storm grabs Idol's hair and tosses him across the ring. Idol staggers up but gets an ear clap from Young on the apron. Storm tags in Young. Storm holds Idol in a bearhug position as Young swings off the ropes and clotheslines Idol down 1..2..Dundee breaks it. Storm runs in and sends Dundee flying with a running shoulder block. The Ref guides Storm back. Idol rakes Young's eyes, staggers over and tags in Dundee. Dundee's still wobbling from Storm's shoulder block. He comes in but Young's all over him with punches. Young swings Dundee to the ropes and puts him down with a boomerang clothesline. Young tags in Storm. Young swings Dundee to the ropes as Storm puts him down with a lunging clothesline 1..2..Dundee gets his foot on the rope. Storm picks up Dundee but Dundee rakes his eyes. Dundee swings Storm to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Storm stops, grabs Dundee's hair and facebusters him down on the mat. Storm tags in Young. Young gets on the middle ropes. Storm holds up Dundee as Young nails him with a flying forearm blast 1..2..Idol runs in and drops an elbow to break it. Storm runs in but Idol backs off. The Ref guides Storm to his corner. This allows Idol to grab Young and hit a reverse DDT. Idol goes back to his corner. Dundee slowly crawls over and tags in Idol. Idol chokes Young on the bottom rope then grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Young. Idol picks up Young slams him down and drops an elbow 1..2..Kick Out. Idol chokes Young with his boot then rakes the boot across his face. Idol suplexes Young, goes to the middle ropes and delivers a fist drop 1..2..Young gets his shoulder up. Idol tags in Dundee. They stomp away on Young in the corner. Storm gets in there but the Ref guides him back. Idol and Dundee swing Young to the ropes and hit a double hot shot on the top rope. Dundee covers 1..2..Young gets his foot on the rope. Dundee picks up Young and scoop powerslams him over 1..2..Kick Out. Dundee's pissed and starts angrily stomping on Young and choking him with his boot. Dundee clamps on a headlock and punches away on Young's head. Dundee suplexes Young, goes to the middle ropes and comes down with a fist drop of his own 1..2..Young gets his shoulder up. Dundee picks Young up and tags in Idol. Dundee holds Young as Idol comes off the top rope with a double axhandle. Idol and Dundee double stomp down on Young. Storm runs over, grabs their heads and knocks them together. The Ref guides Storm back. Idol regroups, swings Young to the ropes, goes for a back drop but Young kicks him, dives over and tags in Storm! The fans cheer as Storm unloads on Idol. Dundee runs in but Storm's all over him. Storm picks up Dundee and tosses him onto Idol. Dundee rolls out of the ring. Storm picks up Idol and hits a running powerslam 1..2..Dundee reaches in and pulls Idol to the outside. Young's still hurting on the apron. Storm goes out and punches Dundee. Idol sneaks up and pushes Storm into the steel post. Idol and Dundee hurl Storm back into the ring. Idol starts working Storm's leg. Idol sets Storm's leg on the ropes and gives it several body drops. Idol hoists Storm up and delivers a shin breaker. Idol clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock and wrenches away. Young comes off the top rope with a fist drop on Idol! Dundee runs in but Young clotheslines him down. The Ref guides Young back. Idol shakes things off and tags in Dundee. Idol and Dundee double slam Storm. Dundee goes to the top rope and crashes down with his Bomb's Away! Dundee stays sitting on Storm 1..2..NO! Young runs in and nails Dundee with a superkick! Idol runs in but Young's all over him with punches and hurls him over the top rope. Young goes back to his corner. Storm is cheered on as he rolls over and tags in Young. Young's a house of fire and goes to town on Dundee. Young dropkicks Dundee into the corner. Dundee knocks into Idol. The Ref calls it a tag. Young grabs Idol by his hair and hurls him into the ring. Young gives Idol the beating of his life! Young hits a shin breaker and clamps on Idol's Las Vegas Leglock! The fans are on their feet. Idol's ready to submit but Dundee runs in and drops a knee on Young. Storm comes in and the brawl is on! Storm swings Dundee to the ropes and back drops him. Dundee staggers up as Storm puts him down with his SPERE! Dundee's out. Young and Storm look at the fallen Idol. They pick up Idol and take turns pinballing him with a series of punches. Storm smiles and gives Young the honors. Young picks up Idol, springs onto the turnbuckles and comes back with a tornado DDT 1..2..3! BIG POP! The Mavericks celebrate and proved to Idol that they are indeed winners! The Winners of The Match- The Mavericks Bad News Brown vs. Maxx Payne The guitar plays as Payne walks down the aisle playing his own eerie theme music. Payne has his black leather duster on with skulls on the back. He gets into the ring and smiles down at his guitar Norma Jean. He starts playing again. The fans cheer as Bad News Brown comes through the crowd. He hops the railing and enters the ring. While Payne's still playing his guitar, Brown heads over and drops him with the Ghetto Blaster! Brown picks up Norman Jean and waits. Payne slowly rises as Brown breaks the guitar over his back! Brown drops the broken guitar on Payne and leaves. Medics rush in. They eventually put Payne on a stretcher. As Payne's being stretchered out the camera actually catches a shot of Payne with an unconscious smirk on his face. Official Ruling- A No Contest Street Fight! The Magnificent Muraco vs. Tommy 'Wildfire' Rich w/Tully Blanchard Hank Williams Jr's All My Rowdy Friends plays as the arrogant Tully leads Rich out. Rich is carrying a wooden baseball bat, wearing jeans and a T-Shirt that says 'Muraco's a Beach Bum' As Rich and Tully walk down the aisle, Muraco comes out with a steel beam! He runs down the aisle and takes both men out! The bat goes flying out of Rich's hands. Tully's laid out. The Bell rings. Muraco picks up Rich by his hair and hurls him into the ring. Muraco's wearing jeans and a tank top. On the front it reads RIP Rich, on the back it reads RIP Tully. Muraco goes to the outside and picks up a trashcan. He gets in the ring and pours the garbage all over Rich. Muraco takes his boot and rubs Rich's face in the trash. Muraco grabs the trashcan and blasts Rich with it. Muraco swings Rich into the corner. Muraco puts the trashcan over Rich's head, then starts stomping and kicking the trashcan. Muraco backs up then charges in with a flying knee to the trashcan! Muraco tosses the trashcan. Rich is busted open. Muraco grinds away at Rich's face. Muraco picks Rich up and delivers an Oklahoma Slam to each of the 4 corners then slams Rich down. Muraco swings off the ropes and hits a diving headbutt to Rich's groin. Rich is in a lot of trouble. Muraco hurls Rich to the outside. Muraco starts choking Rich with a cable cord. From behind, Tully nails Muraco with the baseball bat! Tully starts reviving the bloody and beaten up Rich. Rich finally staggers up. Tully hits Muraco again with the bat. Rich grabs Muraco and Russian Leg Sweeps him into the guardrail. Rich staggers around. He picks Muraco up and throat drops him on the guardrail. Rich grabs the bat and starts choking Muraco. Rich backs up. Muraco's laying up against the railing. Rich clotheslines Muraco with the bat, sending him into the crowd. Muraco's now busted open. Rich and Tully grab Muraco and hurl him back into the ring. Tully throws another trashcan into the ring. Rich sets it up. Rich clamps a headlock on Muraco and hits a running bulldog onto the trashcan. Rich covers 1..2..Somehow Muraco gets his shoulder up. Rich and Tully scream at the Ref. Rich swings Muraco into the corner. Tully gets on the apron and chokes Muraco as Rich punches and stomps away. Rich smiles and points to Tully. Rich hoists Muraco up and delivers a sling shot suplex. Tully looks proud. Rich does a lazy cover 1..2..Muraco gets his shoulder up. The fans cheer Muraco on. Rich holds Muraco up by his hair and walks him to the apron. Tully slaps Muraco. Rich swings Muraco to the ropes and hits his Thesz Press then starts tagging Muraco with fists before covering 1..2..Kick Out. Rich has had enough and looks over at Tully. Tully gets on the top rope. Rich hoists Muraco up for a piledriver. They're going for a spike piledriver but Muraco back drops Rich and slams Tully off the top rope! The fans are up and cheering. Muraco leans against the ropes and wipes the blood off his face. He clears the cobwebs and then his face fills with rage. He grabs Tully and hurls him over the top rope. Rich tries to attack from behind but Muraco's all over him with throat thrusts and chops. Muraco grabs Rich and hits a running neck twist. Muraco snapmares Rich over and twists his bloody face, then grinds into his eyes. Muraco backs up and delivers a punt kick to Rich's face. Muraco hits an inverted atomic drop and follows with a clothesline. Muraco goes to the outside and throws a chair into the ring. Tully comes from behind with the bat but Muraco turns around and grabs the bat. Muraco kicks Tully low and smacks him over his back with the bat. Muraco gets into the ring. Rich staggers up as Muraco clotheslines him with the bat. Muraco hoists Rich up and hits an inverted piledriver on the chair! 1..2..NO! Muraco lifts Rich's head. The fans cheer as Muraco hoists Rich up again and hits ANOTHER inverted piledriver on the chair! 1..2..3! The fans are up and cheering. Muraco looks around with his face still in rage mode. He goes to the outside. He tells the ring announcer to bring the mic over. Muraco grabs Tully and applies the Asian Spike! Muraco yells "Say it!" Tully's screaming in pain and yells "I quit! I quit! I quit!" Muraco throws Tully down. Muraco looks at the fallen Rich in the ring then looks down at the fallen Tully. He knows it's finally over. The Winner of The Match- The Magnificent Muraco INTERMISSION During the Intermission a recap of the Hulk Hogan/Gerry Morrow saga is shown. Fans are interviewed and asked about their feelings on if this could be Hogan's last match in the AWA. A lot of kids are pleading with Hulk to stay while a lot of adults want to see Hogan give Morrow the beating of his life. That's followed by footage of all the hard work by the people of Minnesota that was put into making WrestleRock possible. We then see highlights of last night's WrestleRock in Puerto Rico. Larry Nelson welcomes us back and still says nobody has seen Hulk Hogan but insists Hogan will be here. He hypes up the rest of the card and sends us back to the ring. The Big Bossman vs. The Hangman w/Nell Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs plays as Nell leads the Hangman to the ring. Nell's wearing his preacher's suit with white cowboy hat. Each are wearing black kimonos. They enter the ring and are presented flowers by Japanese Geishas. Rick Derringer's guitar rift blasts as Demolition make their way out in their leather gear and headmasks. The titles are around their waists. They enter the ring and take of their masks revealing their painted faces. The bell rings and we get a hard hitting pier six brawl as the Ref lets it go. Fists fly as they batter each other. Demolition get control and stereo clothesline the Japanese over the top rope. The crowd's fired up as Demolition raise their fists while the Japanese regroup. The Ref gets some order. Crush is in there with Hashimoto. Crush works over Hashimoto and slams him down. Crush clamps on a full nelson as Ax and Smash run in and take turns kicking Hashimoto. Tsuruta and Saito get in there and we've got another brawl. Things finally settle down. Crush tags in Smash. They swing Hashimoto to the ropes and put him down with a double back elbow smash. Smash throat drops Hashimoto on the top rope and tags in Ax. Ax scoop slams Hashimoto and starts stomping away. Ax tags in Crush. Tsuruta comes from behind but Smash clotheslines him from behind and sends him over the top rope. Saito finally rises. Demolition give him a pounding. Demolition hoists Saito up and drop him with a triple powerbomb! Ax covers 1..2..3! BIG POP! Hogan clears the cobwebs and pumps up. Morrow rises as Hogan grabs him and hurls him into the cage. Hogan slams Morrow's face into the cage and starts grinding his face into the cage. Hogan swings Morrow to the ropes, kicks him and hits a vertical suplex. Hogan puts his knee on Morrow's chest and pounds down on him with punches. Hogan sees the foreign object on the canvas and picks it up. He starts carving away on Morrow's bloody head. Hogan lifts up Morrow, swings him to the ropes and puts him down with the big boot! Hogan's pumped up and so are the fans. Hogan swings off the ropes and hits his leg drop! Hogan stands up and shakes his head NO. Hogan swings off the ropes and hits another leg drop! Hogan stands up and says "One more!" Hogan swings off the ropes and hits a third leg drop!!! The fans count along 1..2..3!!!! EXPLOSIVE POP! The fans are on their feet cheering. Hogan looks around. The cage door opens. Hogan walks out and grabs the champagne bottle. Hogan takes it back into the cage. He opens the bottle and stands over Morrow. He gives a toast gesture to the crowd and pours champagne all over the beaten Morrow. Hogan drops the bottle and proceeds to give the fans his trademark poses. The fans eat it all up. The Winner of The Match- Hulk Hogan Hogan finally exits the cage as the camera follows. Hogan sees a sign and grabs it. It says 'Please don't go Hulk' Hogan sets it down and grabs another sign. He holds it up. It says 'Hulkamania will live forever!" Nelson: Wow! What can I say. You just can't write a better ending than that. This year's WrestleRock will truly go down in history. I agree with Bischoff, the Bash is one of the most loaded cards ever It's been a great build. Today's show proved that. Every match means something. So much heat. Along with all the grudge matches, we get to see Taker's eerie build continue and Vader's debut. I also think Tenryu and Bulldog might be the sleeper match. Bring on the Bash!

The upcoming events prove that SMW is definitely on the rise, especially working with the WWF.
