  1. Hot tag match to open the show. Owen scores the pin in this one but the brawl continues. Brad falls to Crusher with some help from Barrabas. I liked Brad's payback on Barrabas in the next match and helps his brother get the win. This has been a fun feud. Wild 6 man tag that could only end in chaos. Ayala gets a nice win over Invader 1. Good sportsmanship afterwards. Another crazy main event and once again the fans leave happy as Chicky takes the fall.
  2. Luger and Simmons get their points across. Good TV win for Chavis. Azrael dominates Brian X. Liked the post match confrontation between X and Smothers. Smothers will be a nice addition to ECW. WOW! What a main event! That was off the charts! Everybody got to shine. Storylines went further. In the end Nord stands tall but it looks like somebody is out there watching him.
  3. Boyd and Crusher get the best of the Battens tonight. They win a battle but I think this war is far from over. Speaking of winning a battle, Dutch did that by knocking Jaggers out with brass knuckles. Chicky was smart not messing with Dutch. Colon and Leduc make a great team and looks like the fans would agree. I'm sure they loved seeing Colon knock Chicky off the apron. I enjoyed the main event as it showed the Caribbean Express can hang with the champs. I know I would be hightailing it if the Medicos were chasing me with bats. Once again, great job with your loops, I'm really enjoying them.
  4. MACW @ WTBS Studios TV Aired 8-16-18 Highlights are shown of last week's brutal assault on Bull Gantner by the Caspian Empire. Schiavone: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. With me as always is David Crockett. Well David... Bull Gantner storms the podium! Bull: Even though I'm still banged up, it's me and Smirnoff one on one tonight! I know Sheik is out of town, so I want to see how tough Smirnoff is on his own. Tonight, you go down Smirnoff! That's not a threat, that's a promise! Bull storms out. Crockett: Wow! That's one pumped up Bull Gantner. Yes, it will be Bull squaring off against Smirnoff in a featured match tonight. In another featured bout, the Renegade Warriors will take on the Fabulous Blondes. It saddens me to say, Rock Riddle will not be here tonight as him and National Champ, Arthur W. Crews are in Puerto Rico. Schiavone: Also in action will be Jimmy Snuka, Tony St. Clair accompanied by JJ Dillon, Brad Rheingans, Sweet Brown Sugar, former US champs Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley. The Missing Link and Mid Atlantic Champ, Paul Orndorff. Crockett: We will hear from US champ Ted Dibiase as well as Bad News Brown, Austin Idol, the Southern Boys, Paul Jones and his army. We also have a very disturbing message from The Assassin and The Flame. News on two big cards this weekend in Nashville and Raleigh. Should be an outstanding show. Let's go to the ring for the tag team debut of Ben Bassarab and Spike Huber, known as High Octane. High Octane (Spike Huber and Ben Bassarab) vs. Brad Kimber and Gary Williams Huber atomic drops Williams into the turnbuckles. Williams hits and staggers back and Huber hits a back suplex. Huber tags in Bassarab, They swing Williams to the ropes and hit a double hip toss then follow with a double clothesline. Bassarab gets on the top turnbuckle and crashes down with a flying knee. Later, Huber body slams Kimber. Huber picks up Kimber and executes the Airplane Spin then tags in Bassarab. Bassarab jumps off the top rope and crashes down with a flying leg drop to get the pin! The team's fast paced offense seems to have gotten them over with tonight's fans. Schiavone: Alright, impressive debut. Spike, good to see you back in tag team action. Huber: Thank you Tony. The last time I was here I was teaming with the great Pedro Morales. Pedro taught me a lot about what a tag team is all about and I knew I wanted to be back here in Mid Atlantic once I found the right partner. Well, I found him and he's Ben Bassarab. We hit it right off because we're both dedicated in the ring, in the gym and as a team. Ben: Man, it's so great to be here and Spike is exactly right. We're here to wrestle the best and climb that ladder to the US tag titles. As you just saw, High Octane is what we're all about baby! Huber and Bassarab high five and head back as the fans cheer. Schiavone: Ok, there you have it, High Octane everybody. We'll be back. Commercial Break 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka vs. Tim Straw The fans cheer as Snuka swings Straw to the ropes and puts him down with a big chop. Snuka swings of the ropes with a jumping headbutt. The fans go wild as Snuka climbs to the top rope, flashes the sign and leaps off and hits the Superfly Splash for the pin! Snuka cuts a passionate promo on his upcoming US title rematch with Ted Dibiase this weekend in Raleigh. Snuka says Dibiase escaped with the title the last time but this time he wont be so lucky! 'Professor' Brad Rheingans vs. Alex Portman Brad shows off some solid chain wrestling then slaps Portman across the face. Brad swings Portman to the ropes and hits a quick gut wrench suplex. Brad picks up Portman, spins around him and executes a Bridging Cradle Suplex for the pin! Brad jumps up and down in celebration as the fans boo. Brad cuts a promo on how Gama constantly breaks the rules in order to win his matches and that's how he backed his way into a National Title match this weekend. He finishes by saying instead of being called the Great Gama, he should be called the Great Cheater! Commercial Break Crockett: Ok fans we want to take you to pre recorded comments by the United States Champion, the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase. The chauffer opens the limo's door and Dibiase walks out. Dibiase: (Looks around with total distain) Jeez, I always know when I'm wrestling in Watt's territory. Bad News Brown, I'll start with you. You say you want to get your hands on me? Well, like I said, you're going to have to earn that right. Your fight towards me starts this weekend, when you face an old friend of mine...Stan Hansen! (Laughs) Good luck Brown! (Laughs) Now, Jimmy Snuka has signed to go another round this weekend in Raleigh with the Million Dollar Man. The bottom line is time is money to me Snuka, and I just don't have time for you anymore. Last time, I nearly beat you within an inch of your life, you got out by the skin of your teeth...this time you're going nowhere but down! (Another Laugh) Back in the Studio Footage is shown of Link's debut and brawl against Mark Lewin Missing Link vs. Lou Simms Link hammers away on Simms, then clamps on a bear hug and rams him into the turnbuckles. Link lifts Simms up and crashes down with a front powerslam. Link goes to the top rope and hits a diving headbutt for the pin! Link storms around the ring, holding the back of his head. Schiavone: Missing Link looks as dangerous as ever. He'll be teaming with Paul Orndorff this weekend at our big Nashville card and they'll be taking on the wild team of Tiger Jeet Singh and Mark Lewin. Fans in Nashville, please be careful. Speaking of Nashville, another top name appearing will be the Universal Heartthrob Austin Idol. Austin, come on over. You heard Rob Fuller last week, what do you make of his comments? Idol: Rob Fuller should change his name to Rob Full of It because your full of it Jack! He comes out here and sends a cryptic message then walks away smiling. Fuller! I knocked you out cold the last time we met. I was done with you but if you want more of a beating then brother come and get it! Commercial Break Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Lloyd London Sugar has the fans cheering as he back drops London. London staggers up and Sugar executes a flying headscissors. Sugar suplexes London then goes to the top rope. London slowly rises and Sugar hits the Missile Dropkick for the pin! The fans are cheering as Sugar waves to them then WHAM! He's nailed from behind! Schiavone: Wait a minute! That's Brickhouse Brown!! Brickhouse continues his assault then body slams Sugar and stomps away. Brickhouse goes out and slides a chair into the ring. Brickhouse picks Sugar up and drops him back on the chair with a Russian Leg Sweep! Officials run in to back Brickhouse off. Brickhouse goes to the podium. Schiavone: Brickhouse Brown! What was the meaning of that? Brickhouse: I want to talk about loyalty and friendship. I'll be real clear for all these idiots out here. (Pause while the fans boo) First off Schiavone, I want you, your idiot peers and all these idiot fans out here to refer to me as The Onyx Brickhouse. You see, me and my good friend Koko Ware teamed as the Onyx Express. I happen to love the Onyx name and also respect Koko. Another man I respect and teamed with is Norvell Austin. Our friendship goes way back. Now Norvell and Koko are teaming up in Portland and I wish them all the best. Let me tell you what kind of friend and person Sweet Brown Sugar Skip Young is. Months back, Skip Young was teaming with Norvell. Well, Norvell was having some personal problems and you know what Skip did? He left him high and dry! He told Norvell he didn't want to deal with him and he should leave Mid Atlantic! Schiavone: I don't think that's the way it happened at all. Brickhouse: Open your eyes! What are you Schiavone? A damn fool? That's exactly what happened. I'm here for Norvell because that's what true friends do. They watch out for each other. I'm also here to make sure I run Skip Young out of here. You hear me Young! Your days as a backstabbing jackass are over! Schiavone: Oh my, very strong accusations from the Onyx Brickhouse. Fans, I assure you, Sweet Brown Sugar is one of the nicest and loyal friends anybody could have. I'm really not sure where this is coming from. We'll be back. Commercial Break Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley vs. Carl Hillman and Vic DeMarco Johnson works over Hillman with rapid fire punches, winds up and knocks him back to his corner. DeMarco comes in and gets hip tossed and drop kicked by Johnson. Johnson tags in Cooley. They swing DeMarco to the ropes and put him down with a double back elbow smash. Cooley picks up DeMarco and hits the Oklahoma Stampede for the pin! Johnson and Cooley cut a promo and warn the Awesome Twosome that they're coming to Raleigh this weekend to win back the US tag titles! Footage from The Scope is shown of The Assassin throwing a fireball in the face of DJ Peterson. Crockett: Horrible act by The Assassin and Flame. I want to let everybody know that DJ Peterson is at home resting and is expected make a full recovery. That's great news. Now I want to take you to some disturbing comments made by The Assassin along with The Flame. A camera is panning the woods and hits a close up of a paper hung on a tree with DJ Peterson's face on it. The paper catches fire and burns up. The camera pans out and The Assassin is standing there. In the background, several trees have pictures of DJ Peterson on them. The Flame is in the background with a rifle. He aims and shoots at the pictures of DJ Peterson. Assassin: I wanted the cameras to come out here, at my expense might I add, because I want this message to be heard loud and clear. Last week that punk DJ Peterson went after my mask and tried to rip it off my head. This mask and all it's tradition that it represents was disrespected by that Punk Peterson! Peterson, you lay at home healing but that's nothing compared to what The Flame is going to do to you next time! Flame walks over and Assassin hands him a pistol. Flame shoots several times at another picture of DJ. Assassin: Now The Flame can handle you just like that! But that's to easy! You're going to suffer Peterson! You wont know when or where The Flame will show up but when he does, get ready for a beating like you've never had before! Commercial Break Crockett: Coming up now will be The Renegade Warriors taking on the Fabulous Blondes. Wait a minute, what's going on here? The Fabulous Blondes walk to the podium. George Wells and Ken Timbs are wearing sunglasses and smiling bright. Timbs: Davey Baby, Rock Riddle wanted to make sure you got this. Timbs hands Crockett something. Crockett: What's this? Wells: (Grabs Crockett's shoulder and smiles) It's a post card from Rock himself, straight from Puerto Rico. The Blondes take off their sunglasses and head to the ring. Crockett: (looking at the card and shaking his head) I don't believe this. Renegade Warriors vs. The Fabulous Blondes Quite the rivalry has been brewing and it shows as both teams just go at it. Back and forth action as each team shines. Blondes almost get a pin on Chris with double high knees off the ropes. Later, the Warriors almost win it with a double boot to Timb's face. In the closing moments Mark goes for a pin on Wells but Timbs breaks it up. Chris comes in and all four men brawl. The Ref loses control and signals for the Double DQ! The bell rings several times but the teams keep fighting. The Warriors swing both Blondes to the ropes and back drops sends them rolling out of the ring and to the back. The fans cheer as The Renegade Warriors stand tall. Schiavone: Oh my! That was another wild one between those two contending teams. Ok, fans I want to take you to some pre recorded comments from Stan Hansen. Hansen: I'm the NWA's worst nightmare because nobody can control me! I do whatever I want to do to anybody I want! And that sounds like bad news for you, Brown! Schiavone: Strong words from Stan Hansen as he meets this man, Bad News Brown this weekend in Raleigh. Brown: Dibiase! I told you, it don't matter who you put in front of me, cuz no matter what, I'm gonna get my hands on you! As for you Stan Hansen, yea, you're big, tough and bad but I'm from the streets of Harlem and I grew up fighting. So remember this Hansen, I've never lost a fight and I don't plan on losing to you! Commercial Break Tony 'Simply the Best' St. Clair w/JJ Dillon vs. Bill Richards St. Clair hits Richards with several European uppercuts then puts him down with a heels first drop kick. St. Clair does a cartwheel and showboats as the fans boo but JJ applauds. St. Clair picks up Richards and executes the St. Clair Plex ( Floating Bridging Double Underhook Suplex) for the pin! The fans boo as JJ wipes the sweat off St. Clair's forehead with a towel. JJ and St. Clair cut a promo on how St. Clair is going to beat Tommy Rich for the TV title in Nashville and finally the TV title will be around the waist of a true wrestler. Footage from Greenville is shown of the Southern Ramblers interfering and costing the Southern Boys their match with the Caspian Empire. Southern Boys cut a pre recorded promo and say they got a match with the Ramblers this weekend in Raleigh and they're going to administer some good ol fashion Southern Justice! Crockett: Ok those Southern Boys are fired up. Joining me now is Paul Jones, Blackjack Mulligan and the Southern Ramblers. Big weekend for you Jones. It's Rip Oliver facing Blackjack Mulligan inside the cage in Nashville. If Oliver wins, he gets 5 minutes in the cage (smiles) with you. Mulligan: If Oliver wins!? Paul, don't you worry about a thing. Oliver doesn't have a chance in Hell of beating me! Jones: You can stop smiling Crockett. I'm the one who should be smiling because in Nashville, Oliver's days - just like Jimmy Valiant's -in Mid Atlantic are over! I tried giving you a chance Oliver but you couldn't cut it. You've hit, kicked and beat me down! All that ends in Nashville when Blackjack Mulligan puts you down. I'm going to relish this and then I'm going to reach down and slap you right across your bloody and bruised face! As for the Southern Boys, you can rant and rave about Southern Justice all you want but my Ramblers are the real deal boys and this weekend you're going to learn that harsh lesson first hand! Highlights of the Oliver/Mulligan feud are shown Commercial Break Corporal Kirchner waves his American Flag and cuts a promo on Don Kernodle about their upcoming match in Nashville. Kirchner says this war is far from over and in the end he will be waving his flag in victory over Kernodle. Schiavone says it's now time for a featured bout. Bull Gantner vs. Alexis Smirnoff Smirnoff is waving his flag and taunting the fans. Gantner hits the ring and the Ref signals for the bell. Gantner just hammers away on Smirnoff. Gantner swings Smirnoff to the ropes and Gorilla Presses him then slams him down! Gantner pumps his fists and flexes down at Smirnoff. Smirnoff pulls a foreign object out of his boot. Gantner reaches down and Smirnoff rakes him across the face. Smirnoff puts the object back in his boot. Smirnoff regroups and stomps away on Gantner then body slams him and goes to the top rope and crashes down with a knee 1..2..Kick out. Smirnoff swings Gantner to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Gantner kicks him and Smirnoff fly's back. Gantner swings Smirnoff to the turnbuckles and charges in with a clothesline. Gantner swings Smirnoff to the ropes, swings off the opposite ropes for extra momentum and just about decapitates Smirnoff with a clothesline! Gantner covers 1..2..3!! Smirnoff isn't moving. The crowd roars as Gantner flexes. Gantner goes to the podium. Bull: That one was for Smirnoff, this one is for Sheik! Officials are helping Smirnoff up. Gantner hits the ring, grabs Smirnoff, swings him to the ropes and knocks him out with another clothesline! Minutes later Smirnoff is stretchered out. Commercial Break Schiavone: Fans before we see Mr. Wonderful in action, just want to remind the fans in Raleigh of Saturday night's big card as Ted Dibiase defends the US title against number one contender Jimmy Snuka. The Awesome Twosome defend the US tag titles against former champs Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley. Another title bout has Arthur W. Crews defending the National Title against The Great Gama, That and a whole lot more. Also for the fans in Nashville, you heard it will be Rip Oliver and Blackjack Mulligan in the cage, if Oliver wins he gets 5 minutes with Paul Jones. Paul Orndorff teams with The Missing Link to take on Tiger Singh and Mark Lewin. Tommy Rich defends the TV title against Tony St. Clair. Also, Don Kernodle clashes with Corporal Kirchner, that and a lot more. Now, let's go to the ring. Mid Atlantic Champ 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff vs. Ken Jenkins Orndorff swings Jenkins to the ropes and hits a high knee. Orndorff picks Jenkins up and drops him with a short arm clothesline. The fans stand up and cheer as Orndorff gives the signal. He hoists Jenkins up and crashes him down with the Piledriver! Orndorff sticks his fingers up and counts along with the Ref 1..2..3!! Orndorff raises his title high to the cheering crowd. Boos hit as Singh and Lewin hit the ring and double team Orndorff. Boos turn to cheers as Missing Link runs in to even the odds. Link and Lewin brawl through the ropes and continue to fight while Orndorff and Singh are having a furious exchange in the ring as the show ends. 5. Another good loop. Flair and Santana is always a crowd pleasing match. Hogan/Savage clashing with Arn and Tully is pretty damn awesome. I like this feud going with Atlas/Bravo and the Russians. The Hennig/Valentine feud went up a notch. Valentine has been ruthless but Hennig seems ready for the challenge. Blade Runners and Nasty Boys have a wild brawl. This feud is giving both young teams good exposure. Looks like Herc and Hart are done with Roma. Hogan with a strong promo. Man, I cant wait for their body shop showdown. Savage putting Heenan in a cage and releasing the dogs made for some great TV and the plan worked as he gets Windham in the cage! The SNME card is stacked.
  6. Couple of good tournament tag matches. Red Typhoons advance but man do they have a tough challenge ahead against the Atrocious Alliance. With Dump around, the odds don't look good for the Red Typhoons.
  7. I wonder what will happen to Jacques? The Kokina/OMG feud keeps gaining momentum. Borne has been on a hot streak as TV champion. Embry must of been excited to team with Inoki and Maeda. MS-1 and Hillbilly Jim get strong TV wins. Owen brings his new attitude back to Lutte and Keith seems to like it. Liked the Battle Bowl Exhibition main event. Now Martel has felt the wrath of this masked man!
  8. Another crazy start with a wild street fight! Loved the finish with Santana nailing Owen with the boot. Battens-Boyd/Crusher continue to trade singles wins. This is such an awesome way to build towards the inevitable big tag match. Fun 6 man as Jaggers really pulled out the classic (not wanting to go face to face with Dutch) heel tactic. Jaggers taunting Dutch at the end adds to the fans chomping at the bit to see Dutch finally get him in the cage. Colon once again sends the fans home happy or is it pelting Chicky with garbage that sends them home happy? LOL
  9. Good wins for Warlord, Royal and Devils Duo. Looks like Doom-Haku/Barbarian is far from over. Magnum saves Ice Man from the wrath of Nikita. Cant wait for that explosive match. Classic Mid South 6 man tag that ends in a draw and keeps the feuds going. That cheating Dibiase pulled out all the tricks to get that win. That finish to the main event would of blown the roof off the place. Atlantis continues to rack up wins. Boone decimates his opponent. After Bart using the branding iron, I'm sure the US Express aren't done with the Long Riders. Fuller gets the best of Bullet Bob, thanks to the miraculous healing of Wright. Fun brawl between Slater and Bubba. I feel for Cornette when Slater eventually gets his hands on him. I think Lawler just made Murdoch's hit list. Title change! I figured it wouldn't be long before the Midnight's got some gold again. This should set up some fun rematches.
  10. I like the Mero/Morton feud and Mero on commentary really adds to it. Eaton continues his solid reign as TV champ. Maximilian Payne returns!!! Shaw and Madusa are in serious trouble. The Levy segment was brilliant. His character is getting over. Larry Z gives Backlund some tough love and it looks like it worked as Backlund storms out with a chair to save him. It's great watching Backlund and Larry Z in the midst of ECW chaos. AHS are having a good run here. I'm sure Sandman will be looking for some payback on Simmons. Luger retains and showed no mercy on Sid's leg.
  11. Impressive win for Goto to start the show. What a contrast of styles match between Los Infernales and the Hillbillies. So outrageous on paper but one of those types of matches you would just have to see. Lance and Savoldi is a fun match with Lance pulling out the claw! For some reason I knew this match with Bart would get Jacques back on track and it sure did. Armand beats Bruce. I like this Rougeau/Hart rivalry going. Wow, what a crazy turn of events in the main event. Embry blasting Jimmy and Jacques costing Kernodle the title. Great title run for Kernodle but I guess it had to end sometime. The good news is, we get to see a Garvin/Embry feud (Which should be a blast) and rekindled the Jacques/Kernodle feud. Summer Spectacular really delivered.
  12. I agree with Edger, love the show and easy to follow. Nice opener and strong finish as the Japanese team gets the win. Tiger Chung Lee gets a solid win over Graham with a classic heel tactic. PYT's literally get a huge win over the Zambuie Express. So far Summer Gold has been a lot of fun. The Heavenly Bodies/Lightning Express match should be an exciting one. Cant wait for the Gauntlet Match and find out who will be crowned Champion.
  13. Good TV wins for Boyd/Crusher, Caribbean Express and Los Mercenarios. We hear from the Starrs and Medicos as well. Just shows how stacked your tag division is. Leduc and Tamba added for Sept. 20th, YES! Sounds like Owen wants no more of Santana after the 20th even threatening to get lawyers involved. Looks like TNT has gotten a lot of good buzz during his suspension and rightfully so after that AWA Title match with Steamboat. Of course the highlight for me was Chicky and Riddle shaking hands in the ring. What a visual! Fun seeing the Starrs briefly getting support only for Chicky to turn that around in a matter of seconds LOL.
  14. Very smart move on Dibiase's part to have Destruction Inc watch his back especially with JYD and Dr. Death gunning for him. Yea, Grizzly Boone is on fire and now he's found some allies. Wright better watch out! Good wins for US Express and Ice Man. I'm still a little worried about Ice Man's upcoming match with Nikita. Doom could be big trouble for Akbar's men. Great ending with Slater swinging around a nightstick! Looks like Bubba felt the wrath.
  15. Wild way to start the show and keep that feud hot. Battens both score singles wins over Boyd and Crusher. I wonder what's going to happen next time they square off in a tag match. Fun 6 man and a strong baby face win. Owen retains in a hard fought match with Invader 2. Nice run in by Santana as these two cant stay away from each other. Great finish to the main event as Colon pulls one over on Chicky's Mercenarios. LOL, even when Chicky comes up short he's still showered with garbage. Rough night for Starr Corporation.
  16. Cant wait for RnR vs. The Fab Ones. Magnum/Nikita is ready to explode! Armstrong and Jarrett continue to impress as a team. Boone is a man on a mission and I don't think he's going to stop until he puts Wright down for good. Fantastic ending as Landell finally gets some payback on Baby Doll. With that and the coaching by Brisco, Landell has a good shot at taking Luger's title. Looking forward to Music City Mayhem. Mid Atlantic will get a chance to showcase it's product this Sunday in Nashville.
  17. The Guerreros are really on a roll. Must of been a sweet win for Adams when he super kicked Adnan. Pillman and Douglas get a big win over the Bullies. I could watch Garvin and Burke brawl night after night. Piper and Orton retain in an intriguing match with Black Irish. Slaughter's men get a satisfying win. Zenk has been built up so well and now gets a well deserved world title match with Steamboat. Zenk really made the most of this and Steamboat makes the match gold. I'm hoping for more. Steamboat is such a versatile champ, a promoter's ideal champ. He can make anybody look good and still be a strong champion.
  18. Yea I'm in. I grew up with PWI, so this sounds pretty cool.
  19. Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling News One thing about the world of wrestling is promoters must adjust and adapt with constant changes. The Crockett's sure know how to do that. Tom Prichard left last month on good terms. The Crockett's thought he got over well as TV champion and loved his chemistry with Rock Riddle. He wanted to go out on a high note and venture back into tag team wrestling. Portland gave him the opportunity and he took it. King Kong Bundy asked to be released. He was really disappointed that they split him and JJ Dillon up as he felt the 10,000 dollar challenge angle really got them over. Even though he was in the middle of a hot feud with Bad News Brown, Bundy was still depressed and vocal about this, so the Crockett's granted his release. Stampede Rush has also departed. They enjoyed their brief run in MACW but wanted to be a heel team. The Crockett's felt they had enough heel teams already and wanted to have Stampede Rush be a hard hitting baby face team. In the end, both sides parted on good terms. Jimmy Valiant ended his run. This had been the plan as Valiant was brought in to continue his feud with Paul Jones and help get Rip Oliver over as a baby face. A new tag team called High Octane will soon debut as a replacement for Hot Property. The Crockett's couldn't be more pleased with manager Rock Riddle and how he's really gotten over. They have high expectations on what he can do with National Champ Arthur W. Crews. Tony St. Clair has been paired with JJ Dillon. The Crockett's have full faith that JJ can pull this off and elevate St. Clair to main event level here in the States. The Awesome Twosome have won the US tag team championships. The Crockett's are hoping for a long term reign and feel they can main event in a lot of arenas. Get ready because Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer are heading for a big time feud! The Crockett's have praised Paul Orndorff and his Mid Atlantic title run. Orndorff has drawn huge gates on the cards he's main evented. His feud with Tiger Jeet Singh has sold out numerous venues. United States Champ Ted Dibiase has been a huge draw as well, not only at the live gates but when he appears on TV, the ratings surge. His Million Dollar Man gimmick has drawn tremendous heat in the Mid Atlantic region. The Crockett's are lining up top names to face him. He will headline against Jimmy Snuka through the Summer. Also a match has been signed between him and the legendary Mil Mascaras on September 27th. Finally, the NWA have huge plans for Starrcade and the seeds will be planted this Fall. Rumor of a Battle Bowl event is being talked about to help set up Starrcade. The Crockett's are planning a mega main event for their portion of Starrcade. Supposedly, this is going to be the biggest main event in MACW history. Stay tuned!
  20. Like Sharpe, I'm glad you noticed the house show roll Casey has been on. I have a little something planned for him down the road.
  21. I really did have a lot of fun with that
  22. MACW @ The Scope, Norfolk VA, 8-10-86 Tony 'Simply the Best' St. Clair w/JJ Dillon vs. Vinnie Valentino Tony comes out with a jacket that says 'Simply the Best' on the back. Tony has Vinnie in an arm bar, then kicks his chest. Tony does a cartwheel and hits Vinnie with a heels first drop kick. Tony showboats as the crowd boos but JJ is loving it. Tony swings Vinnie to the ropes and hits Vinnie in the mid section with a lunging headbutt. Tony follows with double underhook floating bridging suplex (He calls this the St. Clair Plex) for the pin! JJ wipes the sweat of Tony's face with a towel, then raises his arm to the booing crowd. Fabulous Blondes w/Rock Riddle vs. The Renegade Warriors Chris body slams Timbs and gets up on the 2nd turnbuckle. Timbs staggers up and Chris nails him with a flying back elbow. Chris puts Timbs in a full nelson and Mark tags in. Mark gets on the top turnbuckle and comes down with a tomahawk chop. Mark suplexes Timbs and covers 1..2..Wells drops a knee. Chris runs in, but the Ref stops him. Wells drops another knee on Mark. Timbs rolls over and tags in Wells. Wells swings Mark to the ropes and drops him with a hard fist. Wells applies a neck crank on Mark and wrenches it. Wells tags in Timbs, they swing Mark to the ropes and put him down with a double shoulder block. Timbs hops on the 2nd turnbuckle and comes down with a knee drop 1..2..Chris breaks it. Wells runs in but Chris drop kicks him back. Chris goes back to his corner. Timbs swings Mark to the ropes and bends down but Mark kicks him, dives over and tags in Chris. Chris chops away on Timbs, swings him to the ropes and hits a high knee. Wells charges in and gets back dropped. Chris tags in Mark. They swing Timbs to the ropes and hit a double boot to the face. The Ref is guiding Wells back and Riddle gets on the apron and distracts the Ref. Mark runs over and grabs Riddle by his collar. Timbs low blows Chris and hurls him out of the ring. Wells and Timbs, swing off the ropes and hit Mark with knees to the back. They grab Mark and hit the Double Front Facelock Drop 1..2..3! Riddle takes a deep breath, straightens his collar and raises the Fabulous Blondes arms to the booing crowd. Corporal Kirchner and The Great Gama vs. Canadian International Champ Don 'The Pride of' Kernodle and 'Professor' Brad Rheingans The fans are hopping as Gama and Brad fight in one corner while Kernodle and Kirchner go at it in the other.
