Can't wait to see who wins Battlebowl. I always liked these concepts with a world title shot on the line. Abby and SSM is going to be an explosive showdown! I like what you're doing with the LHW division. You certainly have the talent to make it work.

Seattle Showdown, let's do this! Of all the teams Wings of Fire had to debut against. It's ok, they showed they have what it takes. Douglas has a good friend in Cactus. I always thought Scotty the Body or Flamingo was a cool and talented character. He just might be the future of the Playboy Club. I know Bigelow relished that win. Yea, I would say the Beast is back. The heel turn by the Southern Boys has certainly paid off. Austin is a very cunning individual. Eddie shines tonight! Windham didn't stand a chance with Williams and Gordy out there. Yes, he needs friends. WOW! The Midnights now hold Pacific and WWF gold! Unbelievable, didn't see that coming. And let's not forget they won the Crockett Cup in the NWA. I think the AWA champs might be getting nervous LOL. No question about it, they are the hottest team in wrestling. Night 2 Dreamboats win their feud in a barnburner to kick things off. Atlas gets the big win, but Regal once again proves how tough he is. The tag team division is on fire right now! All the teams are on their A game. Cornette is on top of the world right now. Awesome found out that Pillman thrives on taking it to bigger opponents. Only a matter of time before Hall gets a title shot. The Triangle has really taken a toll on the OWC. I've said this before but Rose always finds a way to win. Well, DDP regrouped from being embarrassed by Bigelow in a big way. He recruits Austin and Adams gets a mega win over Bret. After what the Triangle did to Billy Jack, the odds were against him with the Iceman. I will say, this is a perfect title for Malenko. Can Ams are one of my favorite teams in pacific. So them winning the titles got a pop out of me. Great match! Damn! What a way to end the show! Awesome visual! That was a magazine shot for sure. Props to both Steamboat and Tenryu for giving us 2 MOTY candidates. Excellent Job!

Nice update and preview to the Clash. I always liked Al Perez so it's good to see him involved in something right off the bat. I like the old vets vs. new youngsters match between Long Riders and Stallions. Very creative idea for the contracts match. I'm a little worried about Keirn. Man, Debeers is still getting nuclear heat and making a lot of enemies. Sting vs. Hennig is going to rock! Piper and Lawler are quite the alliance. This is going to be a fun feud with Owen and Anvil. WOW! Freebirds and Von Erich together?!?! The Horsemen might be in trouble.

I liked the match descriptions. Things like Rotunda not really knowing if he's a face or heel is such a nice touch. Bossman is amped up for Savage. Beware of a joking Terry Funk. I'm ready for SNME!

The Dreamboats and SCS will settle the score in Seattle. Cornette has a very cohesive unit. Douglas couldn't have found a better ally in this battle. Damn, the Triangle are on a path of destruction! Taking out a guy like Billy Jack is a big deal. I really like this version of Atlas. I give Tenryu a lot of credit. The man took on stiff competition in preparing for Steamboat. LA, Regal gets passed his old rival, which gets him tuned up well for Atlas. Eagle seems a little off in single's competition, but I see he's getting back into the tag scene with the Demon. Hall continues his roll. Can't wait for the final showdown with the Midnights and Rockers. Stormfront are proving to be credible champions. Windham and Dibiase are heading for a classic at Showdown. Santa Barbara, Rhodes, Gunn and the Southern Boys break even as they head into their big tag match. LOL, Bigelow causing some problems for DDP. Once again, Rose manages to walk out with his title. Eddie closes out the night with another thriller. Bring on Seattle!!!

However, I still have horrible flashbacks of SuperClash when Buzz Sawyer snapped my neck with the chain. I need to get over this mental block and there's only one way to do that. I thought about that for a long time and realized, he's absolutely right. I literally am the cock of the walk and no doubt I can back it all up in the ring. So, AWA get ready because the Red Rooster Terry Taylor is coming! Commercial Break David Sammartino vs. Carl Kellerman Sammartino looks sharp and crisp and gets a good reception from the fans. Sammartino wins the match with the brain buster. Nelson: David Sammartino, it's great to have you here in the AWA. I know you've had a bit of a transformation. David: Thank you very much Larry. As I've said, I made a lot of mistakes because I was immature and just plain dumb. I'm here to make a name for myself while also living up to my father's name. It's time to carry on the Sammartino legacy. Massive boos as Larry Zbyszko strolls out. Zbyszko: I can't believe my eyes. Is this Bruno's boy? Such fond memories. David: And you're the Larry Zbyszko I remember. Always shooting his mouth off with nothing but lies. Zbyszko: Oh look at you, pretending to have some guts. Face it Bruno's boy, you're just gutless, like your old man. David: Ok Larry, how about we settle this in the ring? You and me, two weeks from today. Zbyszko: (laughs) A match? Ok, sure, why not? This will be great. I've beaten up the dad and now I get to teach his boy a lesson he'll never forget. See you in two weeks, Bruno's boy. Hey Kev, Steve Keirn is now with the WWF.

After what went down, hopefully we get an Abby/SSM match. I'm a fan of the Buffalo Soldiers, so it's always good seeing them get a showcase. I hope Budro gets back into title contention. I could see him and Garvin having some fun matches. Wahoo beats one of the best jobber names I've seen LOL. Looks like we have our first official NWA LHW championship feud. Good way to kick things off. Uncle Ivan still has fuel in the tank. I'm up for a Nightmares/Beasts rematch. Worldwide, Young starts like Too Cold and The Stud Stable gets in nice wins, while an old vet like JYD still gets it done as well. Thanks to Jones, the Eliminators pull off a huge win. I'm sure Whatley and Valiant will be back for a lot more.
-
Who's doing the Nightstalker gimmick? Both Spivey and Kamala are put over big time Steiners vs. Demolition is a damn good marquee match up. I can't wait to see what you do with Funk. With Savage and Muta at the top, the WWF must be doing pretty good.

Quite a showcase for the Triangle of Terror. Severn is on the right path. Atlas's plan is certainly working. Not sure I would want to be in the OWC right now. It's inevitable, Hart and Austin are ready to clash. Cow Palace, Bigelow has found a new groove. Condrey is riding high while Regal's at a low point. Scotty's getting into title contention. Stormfront proving to be fighting champs. Rose can capitalize on anything LOL. Steamboat overcomes 2 tough challenges from Adams. Fresno, PR and the Southern Boys go to a stalemate Severn continues his journey back I think the Eagle is trying to regroup as a solo. Blackman's been tearing it up. I'm noticing Atlas. Eddie's rock'n the LHW division.

You're no challenge for Lethal Larry Cameron. That's already been proven several times. Cameron is the real deal and you're just a paper champ phony! Cameron grabs the mic. He doesn't have it anymore and you're going to have to carry his load. If you want a partner you can depend on, well, I'm not hard to find. Just think about it. Idol walks away. Kevin Von Erich makes his anticipated debut and gains immediate credibility by beating Anderson with the claw. Can't wait to see how Christopher welcomes Silver King. Always cool seeing NWA vets like Rich, Race and Ole get TV time and wins. Manny might have his eye on Fuller's title. Solid showcases on Worldwide. JJ is still earning his money as the Horsemen's manager.
-
The Horsemen are clicking on all cylinders and riding high. I can't wait to see what's next for Piper. Poor Gilbert. He's really down on his luck right now. You've done a great job building the Woman's division. Next step, a woman's title. Oh man, Lawler has a new threat to deal with. What a way to bring in Owen and Anvil. YES! DOOM is officially a team! Freebirds are stepping up into Horsemen territory. The Texas Tornado has arrived! I'm ready to see another Flair/Von Erich battle. With the AAC running rampant, this is perfect timing for the Patriot to be a hero. It's going to be a hot summer in WCW.
-
Douglas is quickly gaining momentum. It's good to have friends. The Citadel show support and Severn accepts it. I can't tell you how cool it is to see Condrey, Lane and Eaton all together in a faction. How do you stop a trio consisting of Dibiase, Gordy and Williams??? I always had fun writing for Atlas. I can tell you do too. The Playboy Club are in total unison right now. Eddie continues the tradition of hot LHW title main events. Portland, The Rockers are enjoying a successful tour. I think Malenko has a claim for a LHW title shot. Tenryu makes it known he still wants the title. That crafty vet Rose loves giving the youngsters a wrestling lesson. The Southern Boys are unhinged and might be wearing gold soon. Steamboat vs. Adams is an awesome match up. The fans got their money's worth on that one. Eugene, Williams and Gordy are such an awesome team. I know Cornette relished Condrey's win over Vic. Chono gets an impressive win. Blackman has been on a terror since his return. It seems all the members of the Playboy Club just can't lose right now. It's going to be an explosion when Rhodes and Gunn meet the Southern Boys. Austin's bending the rules but it's been paying off.
-
Really liked the prelim matches. Fun contests that get the fans pumped up. The Interns are making a lot of enemies. My man Renesto retains again. Genius move pairing him up with Lou.
-
Why do I have a feeling that Funk really isn't joking with Savage. SNME is loaded! I'm very interested in who Haku's mystery partner is. You've done a great job building up a lot of contenders for Savage. So many possibilities await after SNME, that is if he gets by Bossman.

Commercial Break 'The Foreman' Spike Huber vs. Harold Bannister It's all Huber as he wins the match with an airplane spin followed by a jumping knee drop. Nelson: Spike, it appears Glamour Doll is issuing some serious threats towards you. Huber: That glamour geek started something and what happened? I caved his face in with this (holds up his sledgehammer) Doll! You want more? I'm on the job, so come and get it! Commercial Break We see David Sammartino running in a park. His hair is short and slicked back. He's also looking more trim and muscular. There's a voiceover. Sammartino: It wasn't easy stepping into this business with the last name Sammartino. I was young and didn't know how to handle the pressure. Due to my immaturity, I made a lot of bad choices. It's time to right all my wrongs. It's time to embrace the Sammartino name. They're on a beach while some pretty women are shining up their National title belts. Rheingans: As you can see, thanks to our epic performance at Champagne Slam, we're enjoying a well deserved vacation. Champions like ourselves should enjoy the spoils. No doubt about it, we earned it. Patera: And you know something Brad? We'll be on an extended vacation because at Title Night in Japan, we'll be defending our prized titles against the San Juan Nobodies. Is that the best the AWA could come up with? Well, at least Japan has good food. The Olympians laugh and sip their drinks. Rheingans then looks at the women and tells them they missed a spot. Commercial Break Tony 'Simply the Best' St. Clair vs. Todd Rooney Tina Turner's Simply the Best plays as St. Clair enters the ring wearing a gold sequence robe. You're history Nikita! My mission will be accomplished. Plain and simple! As for you Nelson, you're dismissed! Commercial Break AWA Southern Champ 'Lethal' Larry Cameron w/Skandor Akbar vs. Carl Kellerman Akbar is beyond pleased when Cameron wins the match with a flying shoulder tackle. On May 25th at the Sumo Hall in Japan, AWA Mid American Paul Orndorff and this man, AWA Southern Champ Larry Cameron will wrestle in a unification match and the winner will be crowned International champion. Akbar: Gerry Morrow should just give us the International title right now. Cameron: Orndorff! You're no challenge boy! I put you in a neck brace and that was just to easy. Nelson: On May 25th at the Sumo Hall in Japan, Jumbo Tsuruta will defend the AWA world title against Big Van Vader. Before I get to you Ray, here's some pre recorded comments from Big Van Vader. Vader: I went to Champagne Slam and conquered every unlucky soul who stood in my way! They all went down! Jumbo Tsuruta! You're the next poor soul in my way! I own Japan and at Title Night I'm going to own you and own the AWA world title! Nelson: Ray, I think the world champion might have his hands full with Big Van Vader in Japan. Stevens: First off, don't ever try and overshadow the AWA world champion Jumbo Tsuruta by mentioning Hulk Hogan's name before we come out. Got it! And next, you better show some respect and call the AWA world champion by his name. Nelson: I apologize. The AWA world champion, Jumbo Tsuruta Stevens: That's better. I want Big Van Vader to listen and listen good. Jumbo Tsuruta dominated Japan, and now has dominated America. Jumbo owns the world! At Champagne Slam, Jumbo defeated one of the best wrestlers in the world, El Canek, fair and square. The AWA has sent in all the top dogs but Jumbo has knocked them all down. Because Jumbo is a human wrecking bone crushing machine! Big Van Vader! You're no different. Sure, you're big, bad and powerful but so is Jumbo. You're out of your league Vader. Jumbo's going to Japan as the world champion and is coming back to America as the world champion. End of story. The show ends with Jumbo holding up the world title.

Kevin Von Erich is going to rock the NWA!! This is Sullivan at his best. His monsters are going to terrorize the NWA. Very cool seeing the Jr. title coming to the NWA. Silver King is a great choice to bring the belt in. Smart move by Jones. Picking up a strong young team like the Eliminators will add more muscle to the Army.
-
AWA releases Dory Funk Jr. AWA picks up Corporal Kirchner
-
I agree, Savage has a lot of contenders knocking at his door. Something interesting caught my eye. Power and Glory as faces? I'll be watching that. Let me know if the Rockers want to make a stop at an AWA arena. Both Fuji and Heenan promise surprises at SNME. Sounds like another exciting night in the WWF.
-
Vancouver, Malenko is looking to make a run at the LHW title as is Scotty the Body. Finlay puts up a fight but the Hitman prevails. Man, I hope Severn snaps out of it or worse, he might snap like the Southern Boys. WOW! Another return as Atlas helps Austin win the CA title. Like AD said, very curious. I think we're heading into a Hart/Austin program. A lot went down in this match. Soultaker gives the world champ a fight. No shame in losing to Steamboat, but I'm sure he's concerned with dropping 2 in a row following a brutal win streak. Kelowna, Condrey's off to a good start. Blackman's on his game. Azul keeping the fire gong in the LHW division. Dreamboats tried but the Midnights are on a totally different level right now. Sending Taker packing has given Lee a serious career boost. AWWWWW sorry to see the FOJ part ways. I loved that team. So much great stuff happening in Pacific.
-
Damn! The Rockers, Sherri, Condrey's return. That was one hell of a way to open the show. The Rockers vs. Midnights will be money!! Ok, it's now official, the Southern Boys have snapped and are now cemented heels. At least Gunn has some back up with Rhodes. I agree, Douglas did bring some sunshine. I knew Rose would be beyond smug and arrogant and he didn't disappoint. Another surprise return as Reno slips right back into things. Can Ams keep their momentum going. NO WAY!!!! After quite a build the Triangle of Terror is finally revealed. Dibiase, Gordy and Williams! What a faction! Huge moment in PCW. This might have been the best PCW TV show ever. Awesome job!

Orndorff comes out wearing a tank top, jeans and is also wearing a neck brace. Nelson: Paul, at Champagne Slam, Skandor Akbar hit you from behind with a chair, then Larry Cameron executed an inverted piledriver on that same chair. I see you're still suffering from that. Will that be an issue in the upcoming unification title match in Japan? Orndorff: (pauses and looks down) Let me say this. It's going to take a lot more than that to keep Mr. Wonderful down. Akbar!
