Budro and Jimmy Jam take advantage of the RPMs distraction to get the big win over the New Breed. Great to see Mantel and Casey teaming up again but the Nasties spoil their reunion. Hacksaw is here! HOOOOOO! The woman get a chance to shine in another light and they do. Big time moment as Richter takes the title from Combs. Looking forward to WCPW's working relationship with the WWW. Scott Hall gets in another solid showcase. Rockers and RPMs give the fans a classic. However, it's payback time for the New Breed. Nasties get involved and we've got an 8 man brawl! Killer Bees are on the scene, adding to a stacked tag team division. Cuban Assassin brings some heat but Adams puts him down with the superkick. Duggan comes in with a bang and takes it to Idol. Harley gets involved and they give Idol a fun pounding until Khan and Kabuki arrive. Race and Duggan going at it with Khan and Kabuki is going to pack a good house. Triumph is coming to the Chicago Arena! Exciting and entertaining 2 ring battle royal. Doesn't get any better than bodies flying all over the place. It's down to Jimmy Jam and Harley. Feel good moment as Harley wins it and has earned another shot at Idol. Idol vs. Race definatley sets the tone for Triumph.

AWA WrestleRock Press Conference From the Memphis Hilton Inside the ballroom, Jerry Jarrett is standing behind a podium. Behind him is a huge WrestleRock banner. Seated to his right is Tommy Rich with the AWA world title on the table in front of him. Baby Doll is sitting next to Tommy. On Jarrett's left is Dick Slater. AWA officials and reporters are seated in the audience. Jarrett: I want to thank everybody for coming today to help kick off the road to WrestleRock. Rich: Hold on a second Jerry. Don't you mean WrestleRich? Jarrett: You'll get your chance to speak Tommy. This year's WrestleRock is going to be two nights of tremendous action taking place at the Liberty Bowl on Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th. Now, It's called WrestleRock for a reason. I'm extremely pleased and excited to announce that on night one, Billy Squire will be performing a concert after the matches. That's not all, because on night two, the Doobie Brothers will be performing. We've defiantly got the rock part covered. Switching gears to wrestling. Over the past few months feuds and rivalries have exploded to an all time high in the AWA. I want these settled at WrestleRock. Just so you understand what I mean, here's a few matches set for WrestleRock. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs. "The Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller- Loser leaves the AWA The Dream Machine vs. "The Master of Disaster" Kerry Brown- Last Man Standing "Dynamite" DJ Peterson vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly- Taped Fist Match 10 man tag match- Lightning Strike and The Glamour Boys with a partner of their choosing vs. The Quebec Coalition and British Bombers with a partner of their choosing. Jarrett: Plenty more matches will be announced. Right now I want to announce the two main events. Night one's main event will be Ricky Steamboat verses Carlos Colon inside a steel cage. And of course on night two, Tommy Rich will defend the AWA world title against Dick Slater. Each man will come to the podium to sign the contract and say a few words. We'll start with the challenger. This man recently won a tournament to receive this opportunity. Please welcome Dick Slater. Slater shakes Jarrett's hand and signs the contract. Slater: My goal in this business has always been to be world champion. I've held numerous titles all over the world but never the world title. Winning the tournament has given me the opportunity to achieve my goal. I'm coming to WrestleRock to win the world title, plain and simple. Slater gets an applause as he sits down. Jarrett: Thank you Dick Slater. I would now ask the AWA world champ Tommy Rich to come up and make this official. Baby Doll stands up and wipes down the podium. Baby Doll: Introducing your AWA world champion Tommy "Wildfire" Rich Rich holds his title high and smiles, sets it down and signs the contract, then tosses the pen at Slater. Slater gets up but Jarrett calms him down. Rich: Yea, you better stand down Slater. You know I just have to laugh at what this so called challenger said. I hate to shatter your dreams but if you think you're going to take this title from me, let me give you a history lesson. Since coming to the AWA, I've dethroned a King, slayed a dragon, neutered a mad dog and broke a cowboy. Oh yea and I'm holding the greatest title in the world. Slater calls himself unpredictable but I can tell you without hesitation, the result at WrestleRich is going to be very predictable, me walking out still world champ. Now, I wanted to kick off the road to WrestleRich in style. Baby Doll, get out the shirts. Baby Doll hands Tommy the two shirts. Tommy holds one up. It's a picture of his smiling face holding the world title with "WrestleRich" written on back. Rich: I got you one Slater, so put it on and lets give the reporters some photo shots. Hurry up boy, you're hanging with the champ. Slater: The only thing I would use that shirt for is as a towel to wipe off my sweat, dirt and grime. Tommy's angered by the laughs from the audience. Tommy grabs his water glass, spits in it and splashes Slater's face. An irate Slater gets up and tackles Tommy, knocking over the podium! Slater starts pounding away on Tommy as Security swarms them.

Mr. Excitement gets the crowd warmed up. Poor Shaun Simpson. Love that Slick/Ritter combo finish. I know the Southern Boys got a big pop with that win over the Celestial Trinity. Thanks to the many distractions, Street gets a big win over Wahoo. Savage vs. Golden is a fun match up. I feel bad for anybody in Savage's way right now. Horsemen spoil the fans evening LOL. Off to Athens, Zodiac starts the night on a sour night but MegaMan gets the fans cheering again. Jumping Joe learns there's no way out of the Goodnight Irene. Warriors and War Party align to take down Slick's Brutha's in Arms. Fleming continues his roll of a lifetime. He's brought so much credibility to the TV title. Manny got robbed! He's owed a rematch. I agree with Lowblow, you've made Manny a top star.

Anvil feels the wrath of Humongous. Billy Jack sends a strong message to Victory, and Backlund doesn't seem to care LOL. Cactus gains respect from the Wild Bull. Making Sweet Stan submit puts Blackman up a level. Jarrett gives Backlund a tough match but Backlund goes on an insane flurry before clamping on the chickenwing. Oh man, I sure hope we get a Backlund/Severn submission match. LA, Big Cat keeps his momentum going. Pillman defeats his old rival Orton. I always loved this match up. Wow, not even St. Clair's guidance can get British Steel on the same page. I'm not sure what can. Rose's tricks don't work tonight as Garvin gets the nice win. Fun contrast of styles match between Bock and Simmons. Bock gets the win but Simmons made him work hard for it. Black Tiger matches are becoming show stealers. Backlund gets the fall on Windham, securing himself an inevitable rematch for the title. Santa Barbara, It took a lot but Finlay gets the job done. Sabu upsets Burke and raises his stock. Steel rebounds from his Bubba loss by putting Gantner down hard. Harts vs. Guerreros! Tag team wrestling at its best! Badd Co. retain but Jack and Barr are defiantly on the rise. Big 6 man tag to end the night. It looks like the Midnight's have another team to deal with.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 4-22-87 Footage from the Mid South Coliseum is shown including Kokina and TNT arriving and joining up with Curtis Iaukea and Carlos Colon. However, luckily the Bruise Brothers arrived in time to help Ricky Steamboat. Tommy Rich retained the AWA world title over Kerry Brown, thanks to interference by Dream Machine. And Dick Slater winning the 8 man tournament! Bonus footage is shown from the locker room as Jerry Jarrett presented Slater with a check for 50.000 dollars. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Yep, you just saw it, Dick Slater is going to Wrestlerock to face Tommy Rich for the AWA world title. Listen to this, tomorrow night at the Memphis Hilton, there will be a special WrestleRock press conference hosted by Jerry Jarrett. Both Tommy Rich and Dick Slater will be there for the official world title contract signing. Can't wait for that. As for tonight, the Glamour Boys will be taking on the Quebec Coalition. Big main event as Wendell Cooley faces Blackjack Mulligan. I do have some bad news to report as far as what went down in Puerto Rico between El Canek and Abdullah the Butcher. More on that later. We're also going to have a special celebration for our AWA tag team champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami, honoring their tremendous win at the NWA's Crockett Cup. All that and so much more, so let's get to the ring. Grizzly Boone w/Greg Gagne vs. Sam Smith The Mid South Coliseum fans were shocked when former Cabin Fever member, Grizzly Boone showed up with Greg Gagne to attack Jerry Blackwell. The fans boo but Gagne applauds as Boone destroys his opponent. Boone swings Smith into the corner and follows with a devastating Avalanche. Boone hoists the lifeless Smith on his shoulder and hits a running slam for the easy pin. Resnick: Grizzly Boone! I can't believe you have aligned yourself with the likes of Greg Gagne Boone: You better get your head on straight Resnick and you better believe it! Gagne: Hey look, Grizzly Boone made the smartest move of his life. I know what this man is capable of and just like my Chosen Ones, I'm going to take him to the top. That started with you Fatwell. I enjoyed every moment of watching Boone destroy you. Fatwell! You're no match for this man. He's bigger, better and badder than you. (pats Resnick on the back) I'm on top of the world Resnick and nobody can stop me. Commercial Break The Olympians vs. Arnie Goldstein and Maurice Thorpe Olympians are in total sync tonight. Rheingans executes a gut wrench suplex on Thorpe and tags in Kazmaier. Kaz swings Thorpe to the ropes and clamps on the bearhug for the win. Olympians cut a promo and say they would be more than happy to go another round with the Chosen Ones. Commercial Break Kokina and TNT w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Todd Rooney and Phillip Rafkin Iaukea looks on with pleasure as TNT puts Rooney down with a flying spin kick. TNT tags in Kokina. Kokina takes a few steps and crashes down with a leg drop for the easy pin. Carlos Colon joins them at ringside. Resnick: Curtis Iaukea, well, it appears you've brought in some serious back up. However, I'm sure you guys weren't expecting to see the Bruise Brothers. Iaukea: Look at these men! I have brought in men who are very hungry. TNT is a young savage ready for the fight. Kokina is an absolute monster, who will not stop until our mission is complete. And anything that has gotten in the way of Carlos Colon has been destroyed! As far as the Bruise Brothers go. If they want to get involved, it will only end with their demise! Which brings me to Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat! It doesn't matter who helps you. It doesn't matter how prepared you are. The ending is the same. Colon: It ends with me terminating you Steamboat! You're done! Commercial Break The AWA World tag team champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami are in the ring wearing suits with the titles on their shoulders. They are standing in front of the Crockett Cup trophy. Jerry Jarrett walks in with a mic. Jarrett: Fans, it is my honor and privilege to be here in the ring with the Crockett Cup winners. Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami, I can't tell you how pleased and proud I am of you two. On behalf of myself, the AWA and all these great fans, congratulations. Jarrett shakes their hands and bows as the champs smile and bow back. The fans give a standing ovation as Jumbo and Tatsumi pick up the Crockett Cup trophy and hold it high. Loud Boos as the National champs Larry Zbyszko and Al Perez slowly walk around the ring, then enter. Jarrett: Hold on, this is their moment, why are you guys out here? Larry and Perez admire the trophy. Larry: Very impressive trophy. To be fair and honest, that trophy should be ours. Perez: That's right! We were cheated and everybody knows it. Larry: For the past 2 weeks all the spudheads have been saying oh wow, Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami must be the best tag team in the world. Oh wow they're so good. Blah, blah, blah. That makes me want to vomit. Just because they got lucky and have that trophy, doesn't mean they're the best. Perez: We're the best! Jarrett: Ok, I've heard enough, this is over. Larry: Wait one minute Jerry. We can settle this rather easily. These National titles say we're the number one contenders. Well, we would like to formally challenge the so called Crockett Cup winners for the AWA world tag team titles. And there's nothing you can do about it. We've earned it and we deserve it. Jumbo and Tatsumi take their titles off their shoulders, look at Larry and Perez and nod their heads. Jarrett: It looks like the world champs are ok with this, so I'll make it happen. Larry: You do that. Larry and Perez point fingers at Jumbo and Tatsumi and say they're taking the world titles. The fans cheer as Jumbo and Tatsumi hold their world titles high. Commercial Break The Glamour Boys vs. The Quebec Coalition w/Frenchy Martin Pretty solid tag match. Glamour Boys start hot with high flying offense. Thanks to a distraction from Frenchy, Quebecs come back hard. Charland's brute force combined with Lafon's fast pace gives the Glamour Boys plenty of trouble. Glamour Boys make a big time comeback and have Charland and Lafon bouncing and bumping all over. Glamour Boys look like their going to take it when the BRITISH BOMBERS hit the ring and attack them! The Ref signals for the DQ. Quebecs stagger up and join in. It's 4 on 2 until LIGHTNING STRIKE hits the ring! They're able to keep things in their favor for a bit but the odds catch up. Not for long, because the Glamour Boys recover and all 8 men fight into the commercial. Commercial Break The Dream Machine vs. Carl Kellerman Dream looks to be in a good mood as he does a shuffle before punching Kellerman down. Dream slams Kellerman, swings off the ropes and wins the match with a jumping elbow drop. Resnick: It didn't surprise me but I still think what you did was terrible. You costed Kerry Brown his chance at the world title. I'm sure your just thrilled. Dream: (Laughs) I am! That doughboy didn't have a chance anyways. Kerry Brown! Listen up babay, if you want another crack at me, I'm all for it because I defiantly want another crack at you! Commercial Break Resnick: Fans, we're going to show you footage from Puerto Rico when El Canek defended the AWA International title against Abdullah the Butcher. This is graphic footage so parental guidance is strongly advised. Canek and Abdullah are fighting on the outside. They fight into the crowd as the Ref signals for the double c.o. The bell's ringing but they keep fighting. Security finally breaks them up. After a minute, Abdullah pulls out a fork. He mauls over the security and attacks Canek from behind. He puts Canek down with a thrust to the throat. Abdullah starts carving away at Canek's head. Blood seeps through Canek's mask as Abdullah keeps carving away. Abdullah picks up Canek and slams him on the announcer's table. Prelim wrestlers run out but Abdullah fights them off. Abdullah goes back to carving Canek's head before the footage is shut off. Resnick: (pauses) That was just appalling. I understand El Canek is recuperating and thankfully will be back in the ring at some time. Commercial Break Terry Taylor and Tom Zenk vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez After making quite an impression on the Beauty Shop, Taylor and Zenk make their AWA in ring debut. The fans take an immediate liking to them as Taylor and Zenk work in smooth fluidity. Zenk puts Lopez down with a superkick and tags in Taylor. Taylor swings Lopez to the ropes and hits the flying Five Arm for the win! The fans pop as Taylor and Zenk high five each other. Commercial Break Resnick: Ok fans, were going to.... The fans roar as BUZZ SAWYER storms out! Resnick: I can't believe it! Buzz Sawyer is back! Buzz gets in the ring and grabs the announcer's mic. Buzz: Morgan! Sheepherders! Right here! Right now! Buzz circles the ring like a rabid animal. Boos as Morgan and the Sheepherders come out with blood thirsty smiles. Before they get to the ring, Buzz charges through the ropes and hammers away on them. Before they can process it, MATT BORNE and RIP OLIVER storm out and pound away on the Sheepherders! Buzz is lighting up Morgan as Borne and Oliver handle the Sheepherders. The fans are going nuts! Commercial Break Resnick: Oh my! I'm here with Buzz Sawyer, Matt Borne and Rip Oliver. Unbelievable! Sawyer: Hey Morgan, Sheepherders! I got friends to! Anywhere! Anytime! Borne: My old buddy Buzz called me and told me what went down. I said, well I know somebody who will be more than happy to help. You guys want a fight? You got one! Oliver: That sums it up! Let's fight! Resnick: That's going to be a war, no doubt about it. Ok, switching gears, the AWA has always prided itself on International competition. This man is coming to the AWA and he's from the land down under. Lets hear from Outback Jack. Outback Jack is sitting on a rock shaving himself with a knife. Jack: You know everybody tells me if you want competition, you've got to go the AWA. I find that a bit laughable because there's no way a yank can provide competition for a man like me. (Chuckles as he cleans his knife) I wrestle alligators for kicks. That's what the AWA will be, just kicks. Good day mates. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink "Beauty Shop" sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the beauty shop. (Looks at Yatsu) Yoshi, have I told you how much your look just works for you? Because it does. Yatsu bows. Britton: I'm really excited about my guests tonight. Managed by that pretty young thing Norvell Austin, the greatest tag team of all time, Loverboy Dennis and Ravishing Randy, the original Midnight Express! Hot Blooded by Foreigner plays as Norvell comes out with sunglasses and a white tuxedo followed by the Midnight's wearing red glittered vests. Norvell: Fabulous introduction Brenda, you might put me out of a job. Britton: AWWWW, you're to kind. It's so great to finally meet such a talented and flawless group. You know, a couple weeks ago, I had another new team in the AWA on. Terry Taylor and Tom Zenk. Norvell: Who? Britton: (Laughs) Exactly! Those guys couldn't lace up the Midnight Express's boots, that's for sure. Norvell: You got that right. The Midnight Express are going to take the AWA by storm and trust me, they're going to be holding gold real, real soon. I'll tell you what Brenda. If you want the Midnight Express to use those two nobodies you mentioned as stepping stones, well, we'll be more than happy to. Britton: Wow! Really? Norvell, I would love to see that. You guys are going to put those arrogant pretty boys in their place. Norvell: That's a fact! The Midnight Express smile and nod. Britton: There you have it, straight from the best of the best. Until next week, tooooodles. Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as Jose Estrada attacks Corporal Kirchner and burns his eye with a lit cigar. That's followed by a photo of Kirchner in a hospital bed giving a thumbs up with a heavily bandaged eye. "El Jefe" Jose Estrada vs. Neil Jurgens Estrada walks to the ring wearing green knee pads, green trunks and a green vest with "El Jefe" written on the back in black letters. Estrada is ruthless. He drops Jurgens throat first on the top rope and follows with a knee drop from the top rope for the win. Resnick: Jose Estrada, I've seen you do horrible things and last week goes above and beyond. Doesn't it bother you seeing a man laid up in the hospital, blinded in one eye? Estrada lights his cigar and shrugs his shoulders, then blows smoke in Resnick's face. Commercial Break Resnick: Fans, just a reminder, tomorrow at the Memphis Hilton, there will be a special WrestleRock Press conference. During that event, will be the official world title contract signing between Tommy Rich and Dick Slater. As far as next week's show goes. Gerry Morrow and Scorpio's names were drawn and will wrestle for a shot at the TV title. Before we get to our main event, joining me now are Ricky Steamboat and the Bruise Brothers. Huge pop as they come to ringside. Resnick: Ricky, you finally got your hands on Carlos Colon after months of anticipation only for Iaukea to bring out TNT and Kokina. That had to be disappointing. Steamboat: Yes it was! Colon! You and I both know you were a beaten man. Trust me Colon, your time is coming. Ken, right now I have to thank these two men the Bruise Brothers. Snowman, Larry, thank you for being there. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Snowman: Don't even mention it Ricky. Hey, look, we'll handle TNT and Kokina, you just focus on Colon. Cameron: Yea man, we got your back. You just finish the job on Colon. Steamboat: (Shakes their hands) That I will do. Commercial Break Blackjack Mulligan vs. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley w/Nelson Royal Cooley and Royal made some disparaging remarks about Mulligan a couple weeks ago and it looks like Mulligan heard them because he starts with a bang. Officials storm the ring as Cooley and Royal happily exit.

Winona is at the top of her game and once again retains the TV title. Combs has a tough time with Singh but powers her way to victory. Peterson looks impressive in that win over Malia. LOL, loved Malia's cheating accusations. The odds are to much for Apache as Bennett wins their season match. Bennett and Singh get in some good post match heat. Good set up for a tag match. Misty's on fire tonight but Richter puts it out with a sudden powerbomb. Looking forward to watching Richter and Combs going at it at Jailbreak.

LeDuc is too much for Tanaka but can TDT take the straps? LOL, I'm not sure Tatum knows what he's in for. Backlund and Tatum interactions are going to be hilarious. Brookside tries to turn his luck around but Fuchi shoots that down. Konan wants to prove himself by taking Humongous out. That's a huge task. Pringle and the Crazy Gang are going to have to find a way to control Sabu. Owen gets back on the winning track. Regal is ready to explode! Oakland, Damn, nobody is going to get up from a Simmons/Warrior double shoulder tackle. Looks like Tatum is already on thin ice. Rose is sacrificed but is happy with the win. Loved that creative finish. Black Tiger is becoming quite the attraction in the LHW class. Midnight's vs. Harts is worth the price of admission alone. How do you follow a tag team classic? By booking Windham and Backlund to go an hour. AWESOME! Fresno, Barr wins the battle of the wild men. The Bomb Squad continues the woes of British Steel. Orton is flattened by the Quake! Backlund helps his Knights get a big win. I hope Tatum realizes what Backlund brings. Black Gold stays hot by beating the always game Guerreros. Pierre puts up a fight but OMG is to devastating right now. Konan scores the pin but Humungous reminds him what he's capable of. Bubba finally puts down the challenge of US Steel. Bubba's TV title reign has been a Pacific highlight. Another hot week!

Your house show line ups are set up so well. Crazy visual of Jason hitting the Posse with his axehandle. I think Dirty Dutch needs to give Jason a Shoo-Baby lashing. Big win for Fernandez taking down the Tennessee Stud. Speaking of big wins, Fleming gets the biggest win of his career by defeating Wahoo. Fleming's TV title reign has been amazing. You've bult him into a star. Liking the battle royals. The fans get immediately involved with the high stakes. Radiance and S&S exchange solo wins. WOW! NEW CHAMPS as The Posse take down the Brits. The addition of the 6 man titles has proven to be a success. Outlaws still looking dominant. Renegade Warriors hold the Brutha's in Arms to a draw. BTW, your tag division is stacked. So many solid contenders. YES! Fernandez and Ritter in a falls count anywhere match! Fernandez puts Ritter through a concession stand! Big things ahead for the Raging Bull. Tully knocks off another battle royal winner.

Damn! What a show! Winona and Singh give the fans 3 falls of action as they fight for the TV title. Winona pulls it out. Morgan is really finding her groove as she gets a big win over Devine. Combs is ever the pro and stays focused to show Kennedy who she's in the ring with. Oh man Richter's slump is snapped and this will mean bad news for the woman's roster. The cage match was off the charts. Over 30 minutes of solid tag action. Champs retain in exciting fashion. Medusa and Luna go at it hard in their big blow off match. Great visual of Luna's makeup running down her face as she cries out her submission. Satisfying ending. I agree, Moretti is invincible! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 4-15-87 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another exciting edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Fans, before we get the show going, the AWA would like to congratulate our world tag team champions, Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami on winning the NWA Crockett Cup. They faced the toughest tag teams in the world and came out on top. I understand they are in Japan right now for a very special ceremony in their honor. However, they will be here next week and will be honored by Jerry Jarrett and the AWA as well. Once again, congratulations to the 1987 Crockett Cup winners, Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami. I would also like to commend the NWA for putting together that truly epic event. Ok, as for tonight, you'll see Nick Busick defend his AWA TV title against Phil Lafon of the Quebec Coalition. As you know, this Monday night at the Mid South Coliseum, 8 men will compete in a tournament for 50, 000 dollars and a world title shot at WrestleRock. You'll see several wrestlers tuning up for that tournament tonight. So, let's get to the ring. "Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Trent Watkins Slater's pumped up tonight as he takes it to his opponent before finishing him off with a Russian Leg Sweep! Resnick: Alright, Dick Slater, this Monday night it will be you and Wendell Cooley in round 1. Last week, Cooley and Nelson Royal didn't seem to concern about you. Slater: Well they better be! I came to the AWA with the world title on my mind. This Monday is my chance to get that shot. Cooley! You're in for the fight of your life boy and Nelson Royal is going to nothing but watch you get whooped! Commercial Break The Chosen Ones w/Greg Gagne vs. Neil Jordan and Vernon Wells Gagne's guidance seems to be working because the Chosen Ones are in sync and gelling well as a unit. Barr executes a backbreaker on Jordan, then tags in Smiley. Smiley goes to the top rope as Barr clamps on the Boston Crab. Smiley jumps off the top rope and hits an elbow drop on Jordan's back. Smiley rolls him over for the easy pin. Resnick: Greg Gagne, Chosen Ones, congratulations on another fine win. Gagne: Thank you Ken, I'll take it from here. Last week I heard some things that rubbed me the wrong way. First from Jerry Fatwell. Fatwell, I'm really getting tired of you and you better quit saying my name or else! You know, I also heard those Olympian nerds out here talking about being back on track. That makes me laugh. My Chosen Ones were the ones who took you off track in the first place. Bradly Rheingans, you and I have a bit of history and if you and your glob partner want another crack at the Chosen Ones, come and try us. Commercial Break An advertisement for WrestleRock 87 is shown. Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th from the Liberty Bowl. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs. Todd Rooney The fans give Bob a lot of love and in return he puts his opponent down with a jawbreaker for the win. Resnick: Bob, this Monday night it's you and Ron Fuller in the opening round. What else can I say? Armstrong: That about sums it up. Ron thinks he's going to finish me off and go on to be world champion. Ron Fuller! You better think again! Commercial Break Footage from 2 weeks ago is shown as Corporal Kirchner hits Ricardo Santana with a fallaway slam on the concrete and follows with a c.o. victory. Corporal Kirchner vs. Ray Glader The fans are up and cheering as Kirchner comes down the aisle waving the American Flag. The fans continue to chant "USA" as Kirchner goes to work. Kirchner hits the fallaway slam for the pin! Kirchner gets his flag and parades around the ring. WHAM! He's nailed from behind by JOSE ESTRADA! Estrada stomps away then drags Kirchner to the ropes and chokes him on the bottom rope. Estrada grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Kirchner. Estrada picks up Kirchner's flag. Kirchner staggers up slowly as Estrada clotheslines him down with the flag. Estrada goes to the outside and pulls a cigar from his boot. He grabs a lighter and lights it. Estrada gets into the ring and blows smoke down on Kirchner's face. Estrada takes the cigar and rubs it in Kirchner's eye! Several prelim wrestlers hit the ring to stop this graphic and brutal act. Estrada calmly rolls out of the ring. Resnick: Fans, this scene is chaos as you see the medics rushing into the ring to help Kirchner. They're flushing his eyes as we speak. Jose Estrada! How could you do such a thing? Estrada: (Gets close to Resnick) It's El Jefe. Ricardo Santana is mi amigo. That was payback cabron. Estrada blows smoke in Resnick's face and walks away. In Commercial Break Scott "Powerhouse" Putski vs. Carl Kellerman Scott's skills are sharp tonight. He swings Kellerman to the ropes and puts him down with the Polish Hammer for the win! Commercial Break AWA National Tag Team Champs Larry Zbyszko and Al Perez vs. Arnie Goldstein and Thomas Edmons The champs are extra aggressive tonight as the fans are giving it to them. Larry executes a swinging neckbreaker on Goldstein, then tags in Perez. Perez hits the helicopter drop and it's all over. Resnick: Well guys, I'm sure you're disappointed in your Crockett Cup showing. You predicted you would win it but hey I'm sure it was an honor to be invited. You do have to be impressed by the showing of our world champs Tsuruta and Fujinami. They're bringing that Crockett Cup trophy to the AWA. In a rare moment, Larry is actually speechless. He gets so riled up he can't speak. Perez takes him by the arm and walks him away. The fans continue to taunt them. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink "Beauty Shop" sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. (Looks at Yatsu) Yoshi, you look like the man of steel. Yatsu bows. Britton: Ok, so this Monday night at the Mid South Coliseum, there will be an 8 man tournament with the winner getting 50,000 dollars and a world title shot at WrestleRock. Tonight, on my show, my guest is the one who's going to win it all. It's my privilege to introduce to you, the number one international wrestling star, Gama Singh. Gama and Yatsu exchange respectful bows. Britton: Welcome Gama. Just so you know, I really do think you're going to win the tournament and I know everything. You've been on such an impressive win streak, there's no way anybody can stop you. You're facing that fat Blackwell in round 1. (Laughs) No way he's going to stop you. Gama: You're absolutely right. It is a joke that a man of my international wrestling credentials has to face a specimen like that fat guy. After I give him a wrestling lesson, I will go on and beat any other inferior wrestler on my way to a world title shot. The champions are afraid of me. The so called International champ El Canek is so afraid, he ran off to Puerto Rico to defend his title instead of facing me. That's ok, because I will soon have the world title. Britton: Spoken like a real wrestling man. That all starts on Monday, and Gama, I look forward to watching you in action. I would say good luck, but you wont need it. Britton and Gama laugh and hug. Britton: Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break "Dynamite" DJ Peterson vs. Vic Dutro DJ uses a variety of power moves before winning the match with a diving shoulder block from the top rope! Resnick: DJ, this Monday night it will be you and a man you know very well, Kevin Kelly in round 1. DJ: It looks like things have circled back. I've faced Kelly on the grandest stage up north. I've faced him at the biggest USWA events and here we are again. Only this time a world title shot is at stake. Kelly! Get ready because you know the fight I'm bringing and Vinnie, if you get in my way, you're going down! Commercial Break "The Beast" Rip Morgan and The Sheepherders vs. Sam Smith, Royce Jones and Oliver Pitts After a few brutal minutes, Morgan just about tears Smith's head off with a big boot. Sheepherders follow with a double rib breaker and it's all over. Resnick: (Nervously watches Morgan swing his chain and the Sheepherders going crazy) Ah, um, ok, what about that vicious attack on Buzz Sawyer a couple weeks ago? He's been recuperating but will be back soon. I mean, why are the Sheepherders here? Butch: Hey! We're here to help our old friend Rip Morgan! Buzz Sawyer found out what he's dealing with! Luke: Hey cousin Butch, he's dealing with the Sheepherders! Big problem for him! Morgan: Buzz Sawyer! You felt the pain! You want more? Just look at us! Do we look scared? Bring it puppy dog! Resnick runs off as Morgan swings his chain Commercial Break Footage from a few weeks ago is shown as the British Bombers attack the Glamour Boys. Resnick: Fans, I understand The Glamour Boys will face the British Bombers this Monday night. Also that night you will see the 8 man tournament. That's not all. Ricky Steamboat makes his return to face the man who put him out of action, Carlos Colon in a grudge match. And Tommy Rich will defend the AWA world title against the man inside the ring, Kerry Brown. "The Master of Disaster" Kerry Brown vs. Steven Frost Kerry looks tuned up and ready. Kerry swings Frost to the ropes and hits the high knee for the win! Resnick: Kerry Brown, chance of a lifetime this Monday. Last week you defeated your rival Dream Machine to get here and now you get a shot at the world title. Are you ready? Kerry: I've been training for this moment my whole life. Tommy Rich! You've been running your mouth for a long time and I'm tired of it. It's time someone shut it and I'll be more than happy to do the honors and take the world title while I'm at it. Commercial Break AWA TV Title Bout Nick Busick (C) vs. Phil Lafon w/Frenchy Martin and Richard Charland The bell rings but Charland is distracting the Ref. Busick starts to walk over but Frenchy hits him from behind. Charland continues to distract the Ref as Frenchy and Lafon double slam Busick. The Ref finally clears the ring as Lafon hammers away on Busick. Lafon swings Busick to the ropes and dropkicks him down. Lafon swings off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Lafon picks up Busick and hits a snap suplex. Lafon swings off the ropes and goes for a senton but Busick lifts his knees as Lafon hits them hard. Busick regroups, swings Lafon to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Lafon staggers up as Busick scoop slams him. Busick swings Lafon into the corner and follows with a running shoulder thrust. Busick follows with several more shoulder thrusts. Busick picks up Lafon for a suplex but Charland reaches in and trips Busick. The Ref goes over and sternly warns Charland. Charland denies everything as Frenchy runs around, reaches in and chokes Busick. The fans cheer as Lightning Strike runs out and pounds away on Frenchy and Charland! Lafon gets up and sees what's going on. He heads outside but Busick grabs him, spins him around and hits a spinebuster slam 1..2..3!!! Huge pop! Commercial Break Resnick: Ok, Nick Busick once again retains the AWA TV title. It appears the situation between Lightning Strike and the Quebec Coalition is far from over. Next week we will show you highlights from the Mid South Coliseum. We will also show you highlights from Puerto Rico of the El Canek, Abdullah the Butcher AWA International title bout. Ok, this Monday night, Ricky Steamboat returns to action against Carlos Colon. That's going to be a battle. Joining me now is Ricky Steamboat. The fans cheer as Ricky Steamboat comes out smiling and waving. He gets to Resnick and it's all business. Steamboat: Carlos! Iaukea! You tried to put me out of commission. You almost did it. However, you failed! This Monday at the Mid South Coliseum, it's my turn! I'm not going there for a wrestling match. I've spent the last 3 months thinking of ways to punish you, just like you did to me! The wait is over! Carlos, you're mine! Steamboat exits. Resnick: A very determined Ricky Steamboat. I think Colon and Iaukea made a big mistake. Well fans, before we go, I've been instructed to show this video sent to us by the AWA world champ Tommy Rich. I'll see you Monday night in Memphis. VTR Rich: (The world title on his shoulder) My apologies for not being there live but I felt it was pointless. I'm scheduled to defend this here world title against Kerry Brown on Monday. Is there anybody out there that thinks that doughboy has a chance in hell? Baby Doll, does he have a chance? Baby Doll: None whatsoever. Rich: HAHAHA! There you go! See, I told you. Enough about that doughboy. This Monday I'm going to kick off my road to WrestleRich tour. I'm going to promote the epic event to make damn sure WrestleRich is the greatest event in wrestling history. Remember, it all starts on Monday! And what better place to kick things off than in Memphis? Get ready Memphis because the real King of wrestling Tommy Rich is coming home!

Night 1 gets Anita Baker and night 2 gets Reba. Let's do this. RnR going up against Badd Co. is a damn good match to kick things off. RnR advances in thrilling fashion. Freebirds get to play babyfaces and put on a show. However, thanks to JJ, the Andersons advance. Jumbo, Fujinami, Street and Dundee bring all the wrestling styles. The AWA champs are heading to the Semi's. Adonis brings the fight but Savage was to motivated to lose. Things shift quickly as Stan Hansen storms the scene! Wow! Adonis's flirting was one thing but Hansen pushing Liz down is on an entirely different level. This is going to be a war! RnR's sweet roll comes to an end at the hands of the Andersons. I know the fans were into this one. Cornette brings the heat with another classic introduction. The fans get what they want as Cornette not only costs his team but gets nailed by Fujinami. The Japanese and Andersons will go at it for the cup! Tully manages once again to escape with the title as Dusty gets the bittersweet DQ win. However, he does get the consolation bionic elbow on JJ. Tully defines heel LOL. Alright! For all the marbles. These 4 can get the job done and give the fans a good one. The Andersons are thrown off by the absence of Flair and the Japanese walk away with the win, the cup and one million dollars! I have to give a big thank you for putting my guys over! I thought for sure the Andersons were going to take it. The AWA will defiantly be talking about this. Looks like Brenda Britton will have to get them on her show now. Props to you and all the hard work you put into building all this up. Amazing job!

Crockett Cup! Anita Baker gets the night going and we're set! Badd Co. vs. New Breed is the perfect fast pace opener. The Golden State Champs advance. RnR give the fans what they want as they double dropkick their way into the quarter finals. LOL, well, it looks like Brenda Britton was wrong on her prediction. Freebirds out heel the AWA National champs. One of the tournament favorites, the Andersons get pass the Renegade Warriors. Love that finish by Arn. WOW! Didn't see this coming. The NWA is moving on from TBS and heading to the USA network. Can't wait for 2 hours of NWA action. Nasty Boys get their shots in but eventually go down to Dundee and Street. AWA world champs represent well with a hard earned victory over the always tough Samoans. Nice touch with Fuji's respectful bow. Cornette gets his team warmed up with a proper introduction. Fun match with the Midnights advancing, thanks to the racket. Pacific is rolling tonight. Road Warriors vs. MVC ends the night with one hard hitting and brutal draw. We all knew it had to end this way. Both teams look stronger than ever. Awesome night 1! Bring on Night 2!

Looks like WCPW is spending money wisely by upgrading. Things are looking good. Those sneaky RPMs pull one over, but this feud is far from over. Scott Hall makes an immediate splash! Well, Steiner and Rotunda put up the best fight they could, but thanks to the Grapplers, the Nasty Boys walk out the winners. Poor Scott Casey gets to make his debut against Kamala. Kamala is the monster he should be as he continues to mow over the competition. Red hot tag title match that burns the house down. Classic reverse decision allows the Rockers to keep the titles. If only Landel had kept his arm away from the Ref lol. Samoans get the win but if this leads to a Kamala/Snuka feud, hey, I'm all for it. I wonder what Rocky was thinking when Snuka wasn't there. Adams and Garvin battle to a thrilling draw. Adams was oh so close. "One more match"! "One more match"! WOW! Idol sure picked a good opponent for Race. None other than Abdullah the Butcher! Race overcomes it all by beating Abby at his own game. Idol's in trouble now. Spivey and Brown end the show with a wild, crazy and one hell of a match. Brown hits a loaded lowblow and that's bad news for Spivey. If Scott Hall is thinking about going after Brown, I hope he carefully thinks this through. WCPW is really coming together. It's been a blast so far. Keep up the great work.

Jarrett scores another win as he looks to get another shot at Backlund. Wild Bulls put down Burke but Steel wants more of them. Steel better be careful. LOL, I'll never doubt a Pacific oddball pairing. Billy Jack is a man on a mission. Yea, Tatum and Victory better gear up. Rose gets back on the winning track ( the best way Rose knows how) with a nice win over Anvil. Explosive main event but I have to say, the highlight for me was Bock making himself a martini. LOL, that was priceless! Portland, Nice seeing Pillman open the show with a win. I have a feeling he's about to get red hot again. Tenta is on a roll! I really like the way you sell the wrestler's injuries. Anvil's plays the factor and the Guerreros take advantage. That 6 man tag was a straight up battle of tough guys. Nobody gets up from a Garvin ko punch. Steamboat gets an impressive win over Orton. Looks like Payne was only interested in inflicting pain on Windham. This could be trouble for the champ with OMG and Bock looming. Midnight's retain in a classic over Black Gold. Midnight's always have the advantage when the match goes longer. They never seemed to run out of steam. Eugene, The tombstone is getting over big time. I'm sure Young would agree. Regal might be in the brink of an explosive meltdown. Hennig's cradle plex always looked, well, perfect. Miller can pack a forearm blast. Game over, if it's loaded. My man, St. Clair defeats the young and exciting Eddie. Eddie comes out of this match a better wrestler. Badd Co. gets the best of TDT tonight. Battle of the big men ends the show in a hard hitting double c.o. Has Bubba met his match? Great week! You always manage to keep the matches feeling fresh.
-
I'm with the others, can't wait for the Crockett Cup! I think it's awesome that all the promotions will be represented. I can't imagine what Crockett's bombshell announcement will be. Manny Fernandez comes in with a bang! I really enjoyed writing for him and can't wait to see what he does in the NWA. Deaton is a perfect fit with Bass and Bart. 6 man champs Street, Dundee and Haystacks better keep their eyes on them. Stud Stable keeps things heated with the Jayhawks. Always liked these show ending brawls. Dusty cuts another classic Dream promo. Him and Tully are going to tear the house down. Fleming remains TV champ but I think MegaMan has earned himself a rematch. I'll say it again. Great build to the Cup. The tag team tournament is going to be historic for this game. And as bonuses we get Dusty vs. Tully and Savage vs. Adonis. EPIC!

However, next Monday he will face his old rival, DJ Peterson in the first round of the tournament. Vin: Oh Rezzy, this is just like old times. Right Kev? Kelly: Well, well, well, DJ, my old pal, we meet again. I'm really going to enjoy stepping over you on my way to the world title. Commercial Break Resnick: Thanks to the numbers being in favor of the Quebec Coalition, Phil LaFon now gets a TV title shot next week against champ Nick Busick. Fans. I've been told a tag team will be making its debut right now but I have no idea who they are. There's a stir as somebody comes down the aisle wearing sunglasses and a tuxedo. Resnick: Wait a minute, Norvell Austin! What are you doing in the AWA? Norvell: Ken Resnick, I'm here to introduce to you, the greatest tag team of all time. Ladies, Gentleman, and everybody out there in TV land, let me introduce to you, Loverboy Dennis Condrey and Ravishing Randy Rose, the Original Midnight Express! Hot Blooded by Foreigner plays as Condrey and Rose walk down the aisle wearing glittered red vests. The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin vs. Trent Watkins and Neil Jordan The Express put on a tag team showcase and win the match when they swing Jordan to the ropes and hit a double hot shot on the top rope. After the match, Norvell poses with them as they motion their hands around their waists. Clearly, they're here for gold. Commercial Break "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley w/Nelson Royal vs. Clinton Stitch Cooley hits the running bulldog for the win. Resnick: Nelson, your man Wendell Cooley has the tough task of facing Dick Slater in the first round next Monday night. Royal: Hold your horses Buck! I think it's the other way around. You see, you're looking at real cowboys. And unlike that fake poser of a cowboy Blackjack Mulligan, my guy Wendell Cooley is going to win the tournament and then go on to win the world title. Cooley: Yea, Slater is a real tough guy, until I hit him in the face. He's going down! Nelson's right. That fake wannabe cowboy Mulligan couldn't get the job done. All he did was embarrass cowboys everywhere. Well, don't worry because I'm going to come through and do what that wimp Mulligan couldn't. I will be the next world champ! Commercial Break The Bruise Brothers vs. Todd Rooney and Ray Glader All power as the Bruise Brothers mow their opponents over. Snowman hits an atomic drop on Glader, as Cameron swings off the ropes and nails Glader with a running double axehandle to the back for the win. Big pop as the Bruise Brothers double fist bump. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink "Beauty Shop" sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the beauty shop. (Looks at Yatsu) Yoshi, as always, you make me feel safe and secure. Yatsu remains serious and bows. Britton: Ok, well, as you all know, everything happens on my show and this week is no different. Joining me tonight, is a tag team that will soon be making their AWA in ring debut. However, since it all happens here, I wanted to get the scoop on these guys first. Coming out now is Terry Taylor and Tom Zenk. Taylor and Zenk come out wearing suits and smiling. Britton: My oh my, don't you two look dapper. Now, I know you guys have held gold together before and I bet you want to do it again, here in the AWA. Zenk: That's right, Terry and I had a championship run in Continental, went our separate ways for awhile and just like that we're back together and ready for another title run. Taylor: We've been in the ring with some of the best teams in the business and everybody tells us the AWA is the place to be for tag team competition. Well here we are and ready to go! Britton: Well, your words sound good but do you think you would have a real chance against say the National tag team champs Larry Zbyszko and Al Perez? Those guys are good and I don't think you've ever faced a team like them. Furthermore, they're going to the Crockett Cup and I know they're going to win it. Matter of fact, I think they're better than our World tag champs. Which makes them the best team in the world. Now, do you think you can beat the best team in the world? Zenk and Taylor look at each other and smile. Taylor: Hey, we have respect for both teams and we would be happy to face either team. That's why we're here. Zenk: We came for the competition and we're more than ready. Britton: Blah, blah blah. You guys have a lot to learn and when the day comes, the National tag champs are going to give you a real lesson. Taylor and Zenk nod to each other. Zenk grabs Britton in a dance position, twirls her into Taylor. Taylor then twirls Brenda around and dips her. They smile and exit as Yoshi walks towards them. Commercial Break Resnick: (deep breath) joining me now is Curtis Iaukea and Carlos Colon. Thundering boos as Iaukea swings his kendo stick while Colon has his evil look on. Resnick: Ricky Steamboat is back and now you guys must face the consequences of your actions. Iaukea: Consequences? The only person who will pay is Ricky Steamboat! Our goal was to rid the world of Ricky Steamboat and now the fool has returned. It is Ricky Steamboat who will suffer the consequences! Colon: You've made a grave mistake Steamboat! Because you're still standing, maybe it was me who made the mistake. Next Monday night, I will finish my mission! Iaukea: That is a fact! Steamboat! Rest assured, you will not be walking out of the Mid South Coliseum! Colon and Iaukea exit. Resnick: Those guys give me chills. Speaking of that, next week Rip Morgan and the Sheepherders will be here to explain their brutal attack on Buzz Sawyer. I understand Buzz was pretty banged up but will be back in action in a few weeks. Commercial Break "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell vs. Vernon Mills Blackwell is all business and wins the match with a big splash! Resnick: Jerry Blackwell, you get your world title chance next week but round one, it's you and Gama Singh. Gama's been on a serious win streak but first I have to ask. Greg Gagne has been a real thorn in your side. Will that throw you off your game in any way? Blackwell: Gagne's like that annoying mosquito that won't go way. If he gets in my way again, I'm going to swat him down! Right now my focus is on the tournament and Gama Singh. Singh! Get ready cuz nothing's gonna stop me from that world title shot! Nothing! Blackwell exits. Resnick: Ok, a fired up Jerry Blackwell. Our main event is up next. Tommy is wearing a T-Shirt that says "Wildfire Tournament" Baby Doll: You know the drill Resnick, don't say to much. Resnick: (rolls his eyes as he reads Tommy's shirt) What is that? Rich: Oh this? You like it? Look at those cool flames. I'm just hyping the big wildfire tournament next Monday night. You know I couldn't be honored more than to host the wildfire tournament at the Mid South Coliseum. Such sweet memories. Remember Resnick? The last time I was there I got rid of, um, what's his name? Damn it! Baby Doll, what was his name? Baby Doll: (smiling) Jerry Lawler Rich: (laughing hysterically) Yea! That's it! Thundering boos Rich: (Looks at the crowd) What's with all these people? Because I'm walking out of WrestleRich, just like I'm walking in, with this here title. Resnick: Ok, just hold on a second. As you just saw, Kerry Brown just defeated Dream Machine and will be wrestling you for that there title next Monday in Memphis. There's a strong chance, you might not even make it to Wrestle "Rock" with that there title. Rich gives Resnick a blank stare Baby Doll: What did I tell you Resnick! See, you speak and all you do is ruin Tommy's moments. Learn to shut up! Rich: You really are a moron Resnick and not even a downer like you can ruin my high. I'm a fighting champ, just ask that big dope Blackjack Mulligan. So, yea, I'll fulfill my obligation and beat that doughboy Kerry Brown and then it's on to WrestleRich 87! Show ends with Baby Doll smiling as Tommy kisses his title and holds it up.

I like the revamped WWW. This show brought the energy. Things get started with a bang as Winnona takes the TV title from Singh. Looks like things are just getting warmed up between those two and their partners. Ashly Kennedy is looking to make waves. She's off to a good start. LOL, nice touch with the camera getting glimpses of Goldie's water bottle brand. Gotta keep the sponsors happy. Medusa beats Luna in another wild match and then chooses a submission match to end this once and for all. This feud has the heat. I enjoyed the heel vs. heel match. Puts a different and fresh spin on things. I need to book that more often. Poor Richter, she really has fallen. We'll see if she can pull herself out of this slump. Thumbs up!

LOL, nothing gets by Bob Caudle as he puts Slick on the spot. Spartanburg Vice continues to look good on TV. WOW! As if the tag tournament wasn't a big enough draw, we're also going to get Tully vs. Dusty! Awesome! I'm liking Haystacks monster push. Super Rookie is gaining a ton of experience. Solid main event as the Andersons put down Good & Plenty. JJ shuts things down quick meaning he's fully aware of the Flair/Tully tension. Worldwide, WHOA! Ritter and Parsons do a serious number on Duggan. Big time heat! Damn! Look at those first round match ups! The game's best teams going at it. Doesn't get any better. Looks like Watts and Crockett will settle things with a Road Warriors/MVC match. That might be the hardest hitting match of the year. It's official! Savage vs. Adonis! I loved the build up. NWA is rocking its way to the Crockett Cup!

Dingo Warrior is more focused than ever. Just ask Fuchi. Cactus adds some fire to Barr. This could be a game changer for Barr in his feud with Eddie. Nice shout out to the Bullpen. However, Hennig manages to take down Gantner. Man, it's so good seeing Tatum and Victory back together. Jarrett rises the ladder with a nice win over Candido. Bock is back and wants to take down the Brigade one by one until he gets a shot at Windham. WOW! Konnan felt the wrath of Humongous! Vancouver, Billy Jack and Texas Red prove to be a powerhouse team by beating the Wild Bulls. Looks like trouble is brewing with British Steel. Tenta is really getting the best of the Playboy Club. Bock is one step closer to Windham. Rough week for Konnan. Bret introduces the Sharpshooter during a classic with Hector. In the anticipated title bout, Windham gets the DQ win but OMG does the damage. Kelowna, Tatum and Victory are for real! Big win. Orton gets the wind taken out of him by Adams. Big Cat beats the Anvil in a power match up. TDT keeps getting the better of Badd Co. but can they take their titles? Jarrett gives Backlund a tough match but experience wins this one. Black Gold keeps their red hot momentum going by upsetting the Midnights. Also looking forward to a Bubba/Steel match.
