The Guerreros found out the hard way, that you better be 100% focused when wrestling TDT. Very strange things happening with the young PCW wrestlers. Sabu no shows and leaves his partners with a clear disadvantage. Harts vs. Bomb Squad segues into chaos, which now leads to a must see 8 man tag. Akira was such a great pick up. He's become the baddest man in Pacific. Things take a wild turn in the Pacific tag title match, when none other than EDDIE GUERERRO returns! Not only that, but he sides with Barr and Jack!?!?!?! Can't think of a better way to end a Canadian special than with an All-Star team of Canadians standing tall over Playboy Rose.

I think Richter is going to find out that holding multiple titles is going to be a lot of work. She realizes this by taking the easy way out with Moretti. Devine helps her partner Mitchell get the win over Maxine. Loved the post match scene with a pissed off Maxine holding Mitchell by the throat. Morgan and West cool things down with a clean match. Singh and Bennett get in a great showing with solid tag title defense. Props to Trudy and Goldie for keeping a good attitude. Pat Patterson makes things a bit harder for Richter by adding a no DQ stip. Velvet makes the most of it but Richter puts her through a table to retain. Peterson puts down Delta. Delta rages afterwards and almost kills the interviewer. The post match interviews add so much to these shows. Main event time! It takes Medusa over 30 minutes but she finally is able to put Richter away. Give it up to Richter for putting up such a fight after a grueling night. Cool ending shot of Medusa standing over Richter. Great show! Glad you're feeling better.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 7-1-87 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another exciting edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Tremendous show lined up as we head into a big Independence Day weekend. Listen to this main event. Ricky Steamboat teams up with Tom Zenk and TV Champ Nick Busick to take on Larry Zbyszko, Terry Taylor and Kevin Kelly. AWA World tag team champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami will be in action as well. Fans, the AWA has two big cards happening this weekend. First, on July 3rd, the AWA will be at the Mecca in Milwaukee. Then, on July 4th, we'll be at the Mid South Coliseum. You will hear about both cards throughout this program. At the Mid South Coliseum, Tommy Rich will defend the AWA world title against my guest at this time, Jerry "The King" Lawler. Huge pop as Lawler walks out, smiles and raises his fist. Lance: Ok Jerry, it all happens on Independence Day at the Mid South Coliseum. You get your shot at the AWA world title, a title you've held more than once. Lawler: Lance, you know how bad I want to be AWA champion again and where better to win it than Memphis? Tommy Rich has been an absolute disgrace and beating him for the title would be icing on the cake. Thundering boos as Rich and Baby Doll come out. Lance: Tommy, do I need to call Security? Come on now. Baby Doll: Jeez, just relax, will you Lance? Rich: Yea, you're not calling anyone Lance! I'm the AWA world champ and that gives me the right to do whatever I damn well want. Lawler! You talk a big game bud, but you must have a short memory. I mean why would you want to even show your face in Memphis again? You want to talk about being a disgrace. I sent you packing and I did it in Memphis! Some hero you are. Lawler: Tommy, how many times has your lackey here (points at Baby Doll) saved your title? Is she out here to save you again? (Looks at Baby Doll) You know, you could do a lot better than this chump. While the fans cheer, Tommy cheap shots Lawler and hits him across the head with the title! Rich starts putting the boots to Lawler but Security swarms him quick. Commercial Break Footage from 2 weeks ago is shown as Rip Morgan attacks Scott Putski with his chain! Scott "Powerhouse" Putski vs. Neil Jordan Putski is on his A game tonight and wins the match with the Polish Hammer! Resnick: Scott Putski, it's you and Rip Morgan at the Mecca. Putski: Rip Morgan is a sick and twisted individual. He made a big mistake, using me as some kind of an example. Morgan! You're going down to the Polish Hammer, simple as that. Commercial Break The Cripplers (Rip Oliver and Kerry Brown) vs. Arthur Moore and James Rafferty Cripplers live up to their name as they punish their opponents the entire match. The match ends when Oliver hits a backbreaker on Moore and holds him, while Kerry comes off the middle ropes with a knee drop to the chest. Cripplers cut a promo about their match with the Wild Bunch at the Mecca. They say payback is coming with interest! Commercial Break Jerry "Alright" Allen vs. Todd Rooney Allen is impressive tonight and finishes things off with a Missile Dropkick. Resnick: Congratulations on another fine victory. However, you have a tall task ahead this weekend at the Mecca when you face Bad News Brown. Allen: Ken, I'm riding a wave of momentum right now and I'm ready for Bad News Brown. (Allen pumps his fists) Alright! Commercial Break Billy Jack Strong vs. Trent Watkins Strong annihilates his opponent and hits the shoulder breaker for the easy win. As he's done in previous weeks, Strong picks up his fallen opponent and hits another shoulder breaker. Strong feeds off the fans boos and picks Watkins up for another shoulder breaker. Cheers as DJ PETERSON hits the ring and nails Strong. DJ attends to Watkins. Strong staggers up and charges DJ. Both men trade punches and fight to the outside. They keep fighting as officials rush out to stop it. Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown of what went down between Steve Keirn and Alberto Madril. Resnick: After that, it's now official. Keirn goes one on one with Madril at the Mid South Coliseum. Switching gears to the Mecca. El Canek will defend the AWA International title against this man, Gama Singh. Singh: Ken, I would like for you to refer to me as the Great Gama Singh. I've earned that name. Resnick: Ok, the Great Gama Singh. Now, I understand you're out here for a couple reasons. Singh: That is correct. First, I want to say that I will be the next AWA International Champion. This is long overdue and I am more than ready. Canek doesn't know what he's in for. He will be outwrestled and outmatched. I am also out here to introduce a new tag team coming to the AWA. They will make their debut this weekend at the Mid South Coliseum. Resnick: Are you saying you're now a manager as well? Singh: You can say I'm a consultant. Please stand up and show respect for Cobra and Scorpio. The team known as Venomous. Cobra and Scorpio come out. Resnick: 2 Cold Scorpio! What's going on here? Scorpio: As you know, I've been trying to find my way in the AWA. Well, I found it! Scorpio pulls out a mask and puts it on. Singh: Scorpio just needed a bit of guidance and a partner he could count on. He now has both. Ken Resnick, trust me, Venomous has what it takes, just watch! Commercial Break The Dream Machine vs. Stu Jersky Dream slams Stu down and follows with 3 jumping elbow drops for the win. Resnick: Dream Machine, lately you and Bob Armstrong have had some serious issues. With Bob coming out ahead. Dream: Watch your mouth Resnick! Armstrong! At the Mid South Coliseum you're mine babay! You hear me! You're through Armstrong! Done! Dream pushes past Resnick. Commercial Break Polynesian Power vs. Sam Smith and Raymond Cruz Kokina hits the Samoan Drop and Snuka follows with the Superfly Splash for the exciting win! Polynesian Power cut a promo on their upcoming match with the Original Midnight Express at the Mecca. Snuka says they're going to chop the competition down on their way to a title shot. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing 'Beauty Shop' sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. (Looks over at Yoshiaki Yatsu) Yoshi, have I told you that you're the best bodyguard money can buy? Yoshiaki bows. Britton: Ok, as always everything happens right here. Tonight, we're going to get some good information. My guest is one half of the Olympians, Brad Rheingans. Cheers as Rheingans comes out. He nods at Yoshiaki and gets a respectful bow in return. Britton: Now Bradley, you're normally not the kind of guest I have on my show. Because, well, I always found you a bit boring. However, you have some info and that intrigued me. Tell us about your partner Bill Kazmaier. Brad: I may not be the most charismatic Brenda, because I prefer to do my talking in the ring just like my Olympian partner Bill Kazmaier. Unfortunately, Bill suffered a serious quad injury and will be out of action for quite some time. Britton: (Yawns) That's a shame. Sooooooo, what's next for you? Brad: (irritated with Brenda) I had a long talk with Bill and he wants me to carry on. Bill, you're a true friend and a heck of a partner. I have nothing but respect for you. Britton: Blah, blah blah, get to the point. I'm starting to regret having you as a guest. Brad: Let me tell you something Brenda, you've never competing in anything in your life, so you don't have a clue what an injury does to an athlete. I would walk out but I want the fans to hear this. I will be continuing in the tag team ranks. I have brought in a Natural, my old tag team partner, Mark Fleming! Cheers as Fleming walks out in a wrestling sweat suit. Brad: In his time away, Mark went on and had a great run with the NWA TV title. This man is a wrestling machine. He's back and better than ever. Fleming: That's right! The Technicians are together again and ready for action! Britton: Well, I didn't see that coming. What a turn around! Ok, I'm happy now. Until next week, tooooodles. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez The champs are crisp tonight. Tatsumi hits a double underhook suplex on Lopez and tags in Jumbo. Jumbo hits a sheer drop powerbomb (Big Pop from the fans) for the win. The fans applaud as Jumbo and Fujinami hold their titles high before exiting. Resnick: Wow! The world champs are just awesome. They will be defending their titles against the Glamour Boys at the Mid South Coliseum. And don't forget, at the Mecca, The British Bombers will face the Quebec Coalition for the vacant National tag titles. That transpired from WrestleRock when Jumbo and Fujinami won the titles vs. titles match.... Resnick is interrupted by Norvell Austin and The Original Midnight Express. Norvell: I just can't let this go Resnick! My boys should be wrestling for the World titles! Not those pretty boy make up wearing punks, the Glamour Girls! Resnick: Look Norvell, shouldn't your boys be focused on Polynesian Power? Norvell: Glamour Boys! I promise! You will not get that title shot! No way! They all storm off. Resnick: Our main event, when we come back. Commercial Break Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, TV Champ Nick Busick and "Z-Man" Tom Zenk vs. "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly and "Terrific" Terry Taylor w/The Vin Man The fans get a solid 15 minute match. The tide goes back and forth and everybody gets a chance to shine. Everybody who has issues get in their time with each other. Busick and Kelly, Taylor and Zenk and Steamboat and Zbyszko. Tempers flare at the end, which leads into a pier six brawl. Busick and Kelly fight to the outside. Vinnie tries to interfere but Busick knocks him down. Steamboat hits a flying press on Zbyszko, which sends both men over the top rope. Zenk goes for a Thesz Press on Taylor, but Taylor holds on and hot shots Zenk on the top rope 1..2..3! Taylor quickly rolls out of the ring and holds his arms high as he backs up the aisle smiling. July 3rd- AWA at the Mecca in Milwaukee July 4th- AWA at the Mid South Coliseum

Southern Boys have a rough time with the Assassins but get the win. Solid tune up for their upcoming match with the Brutha's. Sherri's been quite the difference maker for Radiance. I agree with commentary, whoever answers Trinity's challenge better know what they're getting into. It's always a big deal when Dusty wrestles on TV. Gigolo shines tonight. However, Simpson finally has enough and gets Sherri out of there, allowing Mega Man to retain. Can't wait for the Texas Tornado blow off. Damn! That's one heck of a TV main event. Horsemen get the tainted win but the fight is far from over. Worldwide, Brutha's send a message right back to the Southern Boys. Speaking of messages, Hansen sends Dusty a brutal one at the expense of Siva and Executioner. Smiley and Mega Man at the Bash. Should be a good one. Wow! Look at those teams in the Land of Opportunity match. To close to call. Things just got interesting for the Trinity 6 man open challenge match. I wonder who Adias is bringing in??? Bring on the Bash!!!!
-
Santo gets the crowd warmed up with a solid win over Conway. Spartanburg Vice and The New Breed go the limit, proving how competitive the tag division is here. Great night for Sherri as her boys go 2-0. Trinity's title reign is off to a good start. Damn! Brody vs. Haystacks is truly a battle of Giants! Great visual at the end. Yamada falls victim to the lariat. Road Warriors send the fans home happy. Macon, It's Ole's big night. Dirty White boys live up to their name. Black Magic takes down the Lone Star. Slick continues to earn his money. Killer Bees are on their road to a title shot. I know Manny got a big pop after putting Arn down with the flying Burrito! Outlaws are focused and ready for the Road Warriors. Flair gets the DQ win and has found a friend in Manny. Good friend to have.
-
Poor Judy Martin, booked in a season match with the world champ, and a tag match later on. Medusa looked flawless. Despite Peggy's cheating, Misty gets the win. Always loved a good table flip lol. Nasty Girls take advantage of Judy's earlier match to come out victorious. Blockbuster title vs. title main event. Richter and Moretti give the fans a 48 minute roller coaster ride. WOW! Richter wins and is now a triple champ! I nominate her for comeback of the year. Exciting show!
-
Bret kicks things off with a pretty hard fought win over Snow. Chaos reigns over the 6 man match. I wonder what Jack and Barr's motives are? But the real question is, where's Eddie??? Tatum and Victory are free. These guys will be so much fun to watch. Sabu is really irritating his Crazy Gang cohorts. What's with these young guys? Good to see Windham back on track. TDT bring out the axehandles again. The good news is, I'm sure the Brits will get a rematch. LA, Sabu costs his team the match. The Crazy Gang is really pissed now. Coast to Coast, what a great name! Oh man, Anvil has become a beast. Like the fans, I was also shocked at Gantner getting the pin on St. Clair. Gossett's boy just earned a TV title shot. Cornette has his boys winning again. More Bubba/Red matches! WOW! Fans in LA witnessed a masterpiece between Bock and Backlund. Bock with back to back 60 minute matches is beyond impressive. Santa Barbara Furnas earns his stripes with that win over Burke. Harts vs. Malenkos! OH YEA! Young spoils a classic. REMATCH! The Wild Things plan works as they score they're biggest win to date over the Guerreros. Severn and Akira is quickly becoming the hardest hitting and bloodiest feud in Pacific. Brilliant booking. Owen gets payback on Young as Hennig gladly accepts. Black Gold continues their Cinderella title run. The LHW title match gets a well deserved main event spot. Tiger and Pillman more than deliver. Tiger is having one of the most exciting reigns in the game. Great week!

Muta takes a beating from Kendo and Tojo. I have a feeling Kendo and Tojo are going to pay severely. Scott Rex gives Gilbert more than he bargained for. Can Morton carry this momentum into Mayhem? Woman is defiantly someone who gets what she wants and has a proven track record. But I wouldn't bet against the likes of Reed, Williams and Gordy. Another outstanding segment as Murdoch pulls off the surprise masked man angle and pins Dibiase! This has been built up so well. Freebirds underestimated Cocoa big time as Cocoa brings in some help from the Islands. Damn, they gave the Freebirds a beatdown! Mayhem is stacked! July 4th is going to be a huge day for the UWF. it seems another promotion is going to have a huge July 4th. I know good ol JR is ignoring them, but the Revolution is coming!
-
New Breed immediately make a splash in the NWA. On the flip side, it looks like the War Party are heading for an explosive break up. One of my game's favorites, Siva Afi, racks up an impressive win over O. I loved that finishing sequence by Deaton. Killer Bees arrive and get instant credibility with a win over Tough Guy Inc. Poor Sommers. Exciting TV title main event. Slick and Whatley get the classic heel heat, Southern Boys save the day, and Mega Man retains. Fun stuff. Worldwide. Add the Dirty White Boys to a stacked tag division. The Gigolo earns a TV title shot and will be a threat, but Mega Man has some serious momentum going right now. Dusty vs. Hansen at the Bash is going to rock. Whoever accepts the Trinity's challenge, I hope they know what they're dealing with. Southern Boys get a shot at the US tag titles. I'm sure Slick is going to want payback.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 6-24-87 Highlights are shown from the Rupp Arena. Footage includes Jerry Lawler's win over a distraught Gerry Morrow. Bill Kazmaier's quad injury that leads to Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami retaining the AWA world tag titles. Ricky Steamboat and Larry Zbyszko battling to a 20 minute draw in a contender's match. And Baby Doll helping Tommy Rich retain the AWA world title over Jerry Blackwell. However, a Lawler run in prevents Rich from damaging Blackwell any further. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Huge show lined up with a blockbuster main event as AWA World champ Tommy Rich teams with the Dream Machine to take on Jerry Lawler and Bob Armstrong. My goodness, that's going to be a good one. Fans, right now I want to announce 2 big cards during Independence Day weekend. On July 3rd, the AWA comes to the Mecca and on July 4th we'll be at the Mid South Coliseum. It's now official, Tommy Rich will defend the AWA world title against Jerry Lawler at the Mid South Coliseum. We'll be talking more on both cards during the show. Well, we've got so much happening, why not get right to the ring. "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk vs. Wesley Glenn Zenk gets the cheers as he works over Glenn with high octane offense. Zenk hits the Missile Dropkick for the win! More cheers as Zenk heads to ringside. Resnick: Tom Zenk, at WrestleRock your partner Terry Taylor turned on you and followed with a despicable attack. Last week, you returned and nailed him with a Superkick. Well, it will be you and him, one on one at the Mecca on July 3rd. Zenk: You know Ken, I had considered Terry a great friend and tag team partner. I really thought we would accomplish a lot here. Now, that's all out the window! Taylor! You've got some comeuppance coming! Commercial Break The Quebec Coalition w/Frenchy Martin vs. Neil Jordan and Trent Watkins Frenchy waves the Quebec Flag as Charland hits Jordan with an inverted piledriver and Lefon follows with a senton off the ropes for the win. Resnick: Ok, July 3rd at the Mecca, Quebec Coalition will battle the British Bombers for the vacated AWA National Tag Team titles. Frenchy, it looks like your boys are ready. Frenchy: We've said it many times, we have de upmost respect for the Bombers and this match will be de two toughest teams going for de titles. They will bring it all and trust me, so will we. Commercial Break Resnick: Fans, with me right now is a man who was synonymous with tag team wrestling but now has shifted into the single's scene. I'm referring to the Fabulous One himself, Steve Keirn. Steve, up next, you have a match with a man making his AWA debut, Alberto Madril. Keirn: Ken, the last year has been quite a transition for me. I know the last time I was here, I wasn't exactly on the most popular list with the fans. Well, after spending time in Florida and the UWF, I realized just how much I missed the cheers. I worked hard to gain their trust and I'm here to do the same in the AWA. There's a commotion as Alberto Madril walks out. Madril smiles and shakes Resnick's hand, then smiles and shakes Keirn's hand. Madril: I'm standing in the back and listening to all this talk about Steve Keirn and his return. I'm just wondering why I didn't get some time with you Resnick? (Madril shrugs his shoulders at Resnick) Ahhhhhhh, you know what? Forget it. I'm here as everybody's compadre. No need to sweat the small stuff. Steve, let's just give these people a great match. Just because we're competitors doesn't mean I can't be your compadre. Right? Keirn: Good point Alberto. Let's do this. Alberto nods and smiles then shakes Keirn's hand again. "The Fabulous One" Steve Keirn vs. "Everybody's Compadre" Alberto Madril The fans do get a scientific back and forth match. These guys trade holds as the tide turns several times. Madril has things going his way, swings Keirn to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Keirn hits a sunset flip 1..2..3! Big Pop. Madril gets to his knees with his hands on his hips, shakes his head, looks down, then lifts his head with a big smile. Madril stands up, grabs Keirn's hand and raises it as the fans cheer both men. Madril then pulls Keirn in and puts him down with a short arm clothesline! Madril looks out and shrugs his shoulders at the booing fans. Madril picks up Keirn and slams him down, then hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop. Madril counts to 3 with his fingers, smiles and nods his head. Madril reaches down and shakes Keirn's limp hand. Commercial Break The Glamour Boys vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Fans are up and cheering as the Glamour Boys hit the Grand Slam, Thank you Ma'am for the exciting win! Resnick: Alright, Steve Doll, Steve Simpson, the Glamour Boys, come on over. Tremendous opportunity for you two. On July 4th at the Mid South Coliseum, you will get a AWA world tag team title shot against arguably the best team in wrestling, Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami. Doll: Couldn't be more excited Ken! The Glamour Boys have worked so hard and paid the dues. It's all paid off! Simpson: Hey, we have nothing but respect for the world champs and everything they've accomplished this year. We know we're in for one heck of a wrestling experience and we can't wait for it. Resnick smiles as the Glamour Boys high five and pump their fists. Commercial Break Corporal Kirchner vs. Marvin Maynard Kirchner gets the "USA" chants as he waves the American Flag on his way to the ring. Kirchner's all business as he hits the Fireman's Carry Slam for the win. Resnick: Corporal Kirchner, it's you and Commando Boone on July 3rd at the Mecca. Apparently, you're number one on Boone's hit list. Kirchner: I heard Boone crying about how he let Greg Gagne down at WrestleRock and now he's getting down to business. Boone! You picked the wrong guy! You failed Gagne and trust me, you're going to fail at this mission as well. Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. Nate Turner and George Werner Bombers are hard hitting tonight. Smith clips Turner behind the knee as Dave hits his running forearm blast for the win. Resnick: You heard the Quebec Coalition earlier. July 3rd at the Mecca, for the AWA National tag titles. Smith: We've always considered them friends and like Frenchy said, two of the toughest teams going at it. It'll be a good fight and we're looking forward to it. Dave: Quebec Coalition are going to bring it and so are we! And may the best team win. Commercial Break "Dynamite" DJ Peterson vs. Todd Rooney DJ looks awesome and hits the diving shoulder block from the top rope for the win! Commercial Break The Wild Bunch w/Nelson Royal vs. Pat Mulrooney and Hal Robertson Total squash as the Wild Bunch hit a double running bulldog for the win. Nelson throws the rope in. Cooley and Barr grab it but before they can use it, Rip Oliver and Kerry Brown hit the ring and unload on them! Nelson is going haywire as Oliver clotheslines Barr over the top rope while Kerry sends Cooley through the ropes with a running high knee! Nelson helps his boys and they quickly exit. Resnick: Rip Oliver, Kerry Brown, I get why you did what you just did. The Wild Bunch have attacked both of you on separate occasions. Kerry: That's right and so we decided to align and give them some payback! Oliver: Wild Bunch, get ready because the Cripplers are coming and we're coming to break bones and crack skulls! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink 'Beauty Shop' sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. (Looks at Yoshiaki Yatsu) Yoshi, you look ready willing and able. (Yoshi bows) Now, before we get to the show, I have some very sad news. I haven't seen or heard from Gerry Morrow since his match at the Rupp Arena. I'm worried, so if anybody has any information please contact me immediately! Now, my guest tonight is a true superstar in the world of wrestling and one tough man. Soon to be making his long awaited AWA debut, none other than Bad News Brown! Brown walks out and gives Yatsu a look, then walks over to Britton. Britton: You're just as tough and mean as I thought you would be. The AWA is in big trouble aren't they? Brown: Big trouble is right! It's real simple Brenda, I'm here in the AWA to win gold and make money and I don't need any help from nobody. I walk alone, I train alone and my money is all mine! It's going to be bad news for anybody that gets in my way! Bad News Brown raises his fist and walks out. Britton: Straight to the point, I like that. He's going to be bad news for the AWA. Until next week, tooooodles. Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as Kevin Kelly gets a C.O. win over TV Champ Nick Busick. Resnick: Fans, at the Mecca, Nick Busick will defend the AWA TV title in a rematch against Kevin Kelly. Both men will be in action next week. Speaking of rematches, at the Mid South Coliseum, Ricky Steamboat and Larry Zbyszko will once again wrestle in a contenders match but this time, there will be no time limit. Both men will be in action next week as well. Back to the ring. "The Great" Gama Singh vs. William Hillman Gama outwrestles his opponent with ease and wins the match with the Cobra Clutch Resnick: Gama, July 3rd at the Mecca, you get your AWA International title shot against El Canek. You have to be impressed with Canek's reign. Singh: Not really. Sure, he's taken down some monsters like Giant Haystacks and Abdullah the Butcher. However, he has not been in the ring with a true wrestling mechanic such as myself. He's been ducking me and for good reason. He knows he can not defeat me. It is now my time. I've waited far to long. Canek! That title belongs to me. Commercial Break The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin vs. Arnie Goldstein and Clayton Rance Express win it with the double flapjack. Boos as they head to ringside. Norvell: Just wait a minute Resnick! Can you tell me why those pretty boy punks are getting a world tag team title shot? It's down right ludicrous. My Midnight Express should be getting it and you know it! Resnick: Well, probably because you interfered in the match at the Rupp Arena and got your team disqualified. Norvell: That was bogus! That incompetent Ref was paid off. Glamour Boys! I guarantee you two punks won't make it to that title shot. You boys better best beware! Norvell leads his team out. Resnick: I think Norvell has other things to worry about because at the Mecca, they will be facing Polynesian Power. Our main event is next. Commercial Break AWA World Champ Tommy "Wildfire" Rich and The Dream Machine w/Baby Doll vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler and "Bullet" Bob Armstrong Of course as soon as the bell rings, fists are flying! Lawler is all over Rich as Armstrong hammers away on Dream. Lawler punches Rich to the outside as Armstrong back drops Dream, which sends him rolling out. Baby Doll regroups her men. They stagger up and start to walk away but Lawler and Armstrong run out. They double slam Rich on the concrete and hurl Dream back into the ring. The Ref gets order. Armstrong swings Dream to the ropes and clotheslines him down, then follows with a jumping knee drop. Armstrong tags in Lawler. Armstrong holds Dream as Lawler comes down with a double axehandle 1..2..Kick Out. Lawler hoists Dream up and hits a vertical suplex, then tags in Armstrong. Armstrong swings Dream to the ropes and clamps on the sleeper! Armstrong has Dream flailing until Rich leaps off the top rope and nails the back of Armstrong's head with a double axehandle. Lawler punches Rich but the Ref quickly guides him back. This allows Rich to drag Dream over and tag himself in. Rich hops on the middle ropes and waits. Armstrong staggers up as Rich comes down with an elbow to the top of his head 1..2..Kick Out. Rich continues to work Armstrong over, swings him to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Armstrong kicks him, dives over and tags in Lawler. The fans go wild as Lawler pounds away on Rich, swings him to the ropes and back drops him. Rich staggers up as Lawler scoop slams him down. Lawler swings off the ropes and hits an elbow drop. Lawler hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a flying fist drop 1..2..Dream kicks him. Armstrong runs in and hammers away on Dream. Dream rolls out of the ring as Armstrong chases him. Armstrong grabs Dream and suplexes him on the concrete. Inside the ring, Baby Doll hops on the apron. Lawler walks over and warns her. Baby Doll continues to distract him. Rich gets up and charges Lawler but Lawler moves and Rich collides with Baby Doll, which sends her flying off the apron. Lawler rolls up Rich 1..2..3! Mega Pop!

Greenville, Always fun seeing the Assassins get a win. Santo and Hase get in solid victories. Tully gets past Siva, as he tunes up for his rematch with Flair. Wrestlers need to be on high alert when they see Fuller coming in with a towel. Even without Slick, the Brutha's still fight dirty and retain over the Renegade Warriors. Road Warriors end the night on a high note by taking down the Andersons.
-
Adonis vs. Flair is going to be good. Sherri has Radiance on the winning track. Smiley suffers his first loss, but Miss Linda is interested. Hansen's lariat takes down a brickhouse. Good grief! I bet the fans were in awe at Animal. If there's anybody that could powerslam Haystacks, it's Animal. Damn, Sherri goes nuts on Flair! Loved the expression on Adonis. Charlotte, Dusty Rhodes wins the tournament and gets a US title shot. If there's one man who can hang with Hansen, it's the American Dream. Ritter has enough of Slick and powerslams him down! Cool seeing Ritter leave on a high note. After a great feud, Trinity blows it off by winning the 6 man titles. This is going to be a fun reign.
-
Bam Bam gets the night going in a big way. Jimmy Jam gets the win and then gets the heat going with a promo on Jake. Damn, poor Ranger Ross. I'm a sucker for the Grapplers and was happy they gave the Rockers a solid match. YES! Orton and Slater win the battle royal and get a shot at the titles. Can't wait! Props to Scott Casey, the man came to fight. However, OMG is on a rampage and shows why he's the Chicago Street Fight Champ. Foreign object, mistreating Liz, yea Savage has immediate heat. Not only that, but he goes right into a feud with Adams. Macho Madness! OH YEA! With that showing against the Superstar, big things are coming for Jake. Look at that card for American Meltdown. My goodness! Big time main event! Bam Bam is getting the push of a lifetime. Race and Bam Bam get the win, but the fight continues! Race vs. Idol, loser leaves town! Bring it on!
-
Moretti gets the win but Singh defiantly softened her up for Kai. Fun fan favorites tag match with Winona shining bright. Luna surprises Kat and gets the upset. Moretti overcomes an earlier match, the Glamour Girls and Kai to get the crowd pleasing win. The Season matches have been very enjoyable additions to the shows.

AWA @ The Rupp Arena 6-19-87 The Wild Bunch (Wendell Cooley and Jesse Barr) w/Nelson Royal defeated Two Local Talents with a double running bulldog. "Dynamite" DJ Peterson defeated Gene Ligon with a diving shoulder block from the top rope "The Great" Gama Singh defeated Jerry "Alright" Allen with the Cobra Clutch The Glamour Boys defeated The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin by DQ- Fun fast paced match that was ruined by interference from Norvell. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko wrestled to a 20 minute draw. The first 10 minutes was mostly stalling by Larry. When he finally decided to wrestle, it was a thrilling encounter. The bell rang in the midst of several back and forth near falls. I'm sure a rematch will be signed with an extended time limit. Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow The fans were up and cheering for Lawler's in ring return to the AWA and he didn't disappoint. On the flip side, Morrow (wearing generic trunks) was totally unfocused, unmotivated and distraught. Morrow hardly put up a fight and in the end, Lawler put him out of his misery with a flying fist drop from the top rope. Huge pop for Lawler. AWA World Tag Team Title Bout Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami (C) vs. The Olympians Kazmaier's quad was heavily taped but he still came with his working boots on. Olympians put together a solid plan and it did catch the champs a bit off guard. Kaz would come in and hit the power and strength moves while Rheingans technical skills were in full throttle. Unfortunately the quad became a factor when Kaz got to excited and pressed Fujinami over his head only for the quad to give out. The champs respectfully worked Kaz over and finished things off with a double suplex. Afterwards, Jumbo and Fujinami helped Rheingans get Kaz to the back safely. Winners of the Match and still AWA World Tag Team Champs- Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami AWA World Title Bout Tommy "Wildfire" Rich (C) w/Baby Doll vs. "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell Rich made a huge mistake underestimating Blackwell. The first few minutes was Blackwell bouncing and pinballing Rich all over the ring. Blackwell was on the verge of winning the title until Baby Doll reached in and tripped him. Blackwell quickly turned around and Baby Doll distracted him long enough for Rich to send him through the ropes with a high knee. Rich has things going his way until he goes for a piledriver. Blackwell back drops him and regroups. It's all Blackwell until Rich "stumbles" into the Ref as Blackwell clotheslines both of them. With the Ref down, Baby Doll gets in the ring. Blackwell turns around and Baby Doll sprays him with mace. Blackwell is frantically rubbing his eyes. Baby Doll goes out, grabs a chair and slides it into the ring. Rich staggers up, grabs the chair and hits Blackwell over the head! Baby Doll shakes the Ref. Tommy covers as the Ref slowly crawls over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOO! Medics come in the ring to flush Blackwell's eyes and check his head. Rich pushes them away and starts stomping on Blackwell. The fans are in riot mode until JERRY LAWLER hits the ring and pounds away on Rich! Lawler clotheslines Rich over the top rope as the fans go wild. Baby Doll tends to Rich while Lawler makes sure Blackwell gets his medical treatment. Winner of the Match and still AWA World Champ- Tommy Rich

Wild Things show PCW what they're all about. Guerreros lose the match, but I think they're more concerned about Eddie. What can I say? Sid Vicious rules the world! Great segment with the Knights. Tatum and Victory bring up valid points and decide to leave the group. Will this be the end of it? Simmons and Warrior continue to mow down some serious competition. Can't wait for another Simmons/Hughes match. It's not easy getting Backlund's respect but the Anvil got it. Cow Palace, Ed Gantner impresses as a solo. Warriors do capitalize on Sabu's recklessness to score the win. Grizzly looks devastating with that win over Burke. Please! More Red/Bubba matches! The Stampede boys get a nice win over the Knights. I think the Knights are still reeling a bit from Tatum and Victory's departure. Black Gold continues to prove their legit champs. Fresno, Anvil seems to be reborn. Speaking of being reborn, British Steel has been on fire and scores a major upset over the Midnight's. US Steel has one of the best finishers in the game. Jarrett puts up a fight but Akira is on a different level. With a little help from his friends, Tenta gets a big time win over The Playboy. Axe handles and steel chairs! Things got crazy! St. Clair finds out Easy Ed is no pushover. Good title defense for St. Clair.

I really liked your format this week and enjoyed the match descriptions. Smiley gets a tough win over Santo which pleased Miss Linda. Looking forward to watching where this goes. Once Bass was ejected, Hase took control and got the win over Duke. Slick really earns his money as his guy Iceman defeats The Lone Star. Jayhawks are tuned up and ready for the Trinity. YES! Adonis and Sherri are reunited! I'm always impressed with how you work in this game's history. Nice job! Deaton makes the most of his TV title shot, but the Mega Man pulls it out with another impressive win. Worldwide, I've always wanted to do a B TV show, because it's such a great way to showcase all the wrestlers. Once again, thanks to Slick, Shaska not only gets the win but a shot at the TV title. This will be a tough obstacle for Mega Man. WOW! 6 Man title rematch, tournament for a US title shot and Outlaws/Road Warriors in a cage! Lots of exciting news in the NWA.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 6-17-87 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another exciting edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. In action tonight will be The Olympians, Billy Jack Strong, Polynesian Power, Terry Taylor, Commando Boone, Scott Putski, AWA International Champ El Canek and AWA World Tag Team Champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami. And Nick Busick defends the AWA TV title against Kevin Kelly. (Pauses) Ok fans, please welcome out Jerry "The King" Lawler. Huge pop as Lawler comes out, smiles and raises his fist to the fans. Lance: Alright Jerry, this weekend at the Rupp Arena, you make your return to the ring against Gerry Morrow. Lawler: I can't wait Lance! It feels so good to be back in the AWA. Make no mistake about it, I'm here to knock Tommy Rich off his pedestal and take back the world title. However, Gerry Morrow is up next. Morrow! You might be living the good life and sipping champagne but when you step in the ring with me, you better be focused and sober... Thundering boos as Tommy Rich and Baby Doll stroll out. Lance: Wait a minute, just hold on. There will be no trouble. Come on Tommy. Baby Doll: Relax Lance, Tommy just wants to have a word with Lawler here. Lawler's the one who better keep cool. Lawler: Don't worry Lance, this should be interesting. Tommy: You know Loser, oh I mean Lawler. Since I dethroned you, I've had the most epic AWA world title run of all time. (Laughs) Nothing can stop me. Everybody wants to know when I'm going to defend my title against you. I ask why? You're old news. You see, you're so dumb, you're looking past Morrow, big mistake. I don't do that. I've got a title defense at the Rupp Arena against some fat guy. Lance: His name is Jerry Blackwell. Tommy: Quiet Lance! Nobody asked you a damn thing! You know something? I'm so confident I'll beat the fat guy, that if you somehow get by Morrow, I'll grant you a world title shot. Not only that, but I'll do it at the Mid South Coliseum. You know why? Because that's where I beat you last time and doing it again would be a moment just to good to pass up. Lawler: Well, that was easy. I will defeat Morrow and then you're next! Tommy: Oh you think so? Tommy pushes Lawler! Lawler steps forward but Tommy pulls Baby Doll in front of him. (BOOOOOOOOS!) Security comes out to prevent anything else happening. Commercial Break AWA International Champ El Canek vs. Rob Johnston After his battles with Abdullah the Butcher, Canek seems to be back at 100%. Canek hits a Military Press slam and follows with a standing leg drop for the win! Cheers as Canek holds his title high. Resnick: Big win for El Canek. It's now official, Canek will be defending the AWA International title against Gama Singh on July 2nd at the Mecca in Milwaukee. That should be a tremendous match up. Commercial Break The Olympians vs. Todd Rooney and Arnie Goldstein Kazmaier's quad is heavily taped, but he seems to be moving around ok. Kaz hits an atomic drop as Rheingans follows with a German suplex for the win. Resnick: Ok, this weekend at the Rupp Arena, you guys get a world tag team title match with Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami. Bill, I noticed your quad is taped up. You ok? Kaz: Well Ken, I strained my quad during a work out, but there's no way this is going to keep me from a world title opportunity. Brad, you know I'll do whatever it takes. We've been waiting a long time for this. Brad: Bill, there's no doubt in my mind. We talked about this and I think we have a pretty solid game plan. Ken, we have waited a long time and we can assure you, we're ready. Commercial Break Scott "Powerhouse" Putski vs. Neil Jordan Putski hits the Polish Hammer and it's all over! Putski celebrates with the fans. WHAM! RIP MORGAN clotheslines Putski from behind, with his chain! Morgan storms to ringside. Resnick: That was sick. Morgan: Outback Jack! That's how you get the job done! Resnick runs away as Morgan swings his chain around. Commercial Break "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell vs. Trent Watkins Blackwell slams Watkins, swings off the ropes and hits a splash for the win. Resnick: Jerry Blackwell, tremendous opportunity, because this weekend at the Rupp Arena, you face Tommy Rich for the AWA world title. Blackwell: The AWA has been in my blood for a very long time. There would be nothing better than being AWA world champ. Tommy Rich! Your underestimating me and that's going to cost you the world title! Commercial Break Polynesian Power (Jimmy Snuka and Kokina) vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Snuka and Kokina give the fans one heck of a debut. Kokina hits a Samoan Drop and Snuka follows with the Superfly Splash for the win! Resnick: Tremendous debut for Polynesian Power. Jimmy, Kokina, you guys came together at WrestleRock and look like you were born to team up. You know, Curtis Iaukea is still missing. Snuka: Brotha, Curtis Iaukea made a big mistake when he and TNT turned on Kokina. Great for me, because it brought Kokina and me together. Polynesian Power has arrived! Commercial Break Billy Jack Strong vs. Carl Kellerman Strong simply overpowers his opponent and finishes things off with a shoulder breaker. Strong angrily stomps on Kellerman's shoulder, picks him up and hits another shoulder breaker! Strong picks up Kellerman and hits a 3rd shoulder breaker! Resnick: Why did you do that? Why inflict more punishment on an already beaten man? Look behind you! The Medics are helping him out. I hope you're happy Billy Jack. Billy: Yea, that does make me happy! Hey, the last time I was in the AWA, I played the nice guy act. Not anymore! Billy Jack Strong is here to wreck havoc and destroy people! Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as The Glamour Boys and The Original Midnight Express battle to a 10 minute draw. Midnight's and Norvell do a post match beatdown on the Glamour Boys. Resnick: Fans, this weekend at the Rupp Arena, a rematch has been signed between the Glamour Boys and Original Midnight Express. And don't forget, Ricky Steamboat faces Larry Zbyszko in a world title contender's match. Get your tickets now. Let's get back to the action. Commando Boone vs. Arthur Gleason Boone swings Gleason into the corner and hits an avalanche. Boone follows with a big elbow drop for the easy win. Resnick: Commando Boone. Last week you attacked Corporal Kirchner and then said something about a hit list. Boone: At WrestleRock I let Greg Gagne down. I did a lot of thinking and made a decision. Get back down to business. Commando Boone is going to mow over anybody that gets in my way. If Corporal Kirchner has a problem with what I did, I've got no problem settling it with him and crossing him off the list! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the brand new glowing 'Beauty Shop' sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Briton: (Looks at Yoshiaki Yatsu) Yoshi, because of all the shenanigans that went down at WrestleRock, I never got to congratulate you on your tremendous win. Great job Yoshi! Yoshi bows. Britton: Ok, Hi everybody and welcome to my new and improved Beauty Shop. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this occasion then by having my close and dear friend as my guest. Welcome out the one and only "Champagne" Gerry Morrow. Gerry comes out looking in bad shape. He's unshaven, hair messed up, wearing a dirty T-Shirt and jeans. Britton: (Shocked look) Oh my goodness! Gerry? Is that you? What is going on here? Gerry walks around disoriented. His head is hung low and he looks down when he speaks. Morrow: (Softly speaking) I lost everything. Britton: What? Gerry! Did you say you lost everything? What does that mean? Morrow: (Looking down and crying) The bet. I lost it all! Brenda, I lost it all! De money, de cars.de yacht, de clothes and de champagne. I have nothing but de clothes on my back. They took everything. I don't know what to do. Britton: (Teary eyed) Oh Gerry! (Processes things) Ok, Ok, just calm down. Look, you have a big match with Jerry Lawler this weekend. You have to win. You need the winner's purse. Then you can get back on your feet. Ok? (Snaps her fingers) Gerry? Ok? Morrow: (Deep breath) Ok. Do you think you could give me a ride? And would you mind buying me some wrestling trunks. I will pay you back. Britton: I'll give you a ride but first let's go get you some wrestling gear. I know where we can get a good deal. Don't worry about a thing Gerry. This is just a minor set back. Until next week toooodles. Brenda leads Gerry out as Yoshi remains stoic. Commercial Break "Terrific" Terry Taylor vs. Ray Glader Taylor arrogantly toys with his opponent throughout the match before ending things with the flying 5 Arm. Taylor struts around the ring gloating. Huge pop as TOM ZENK hits the ring! Taylor turns around and Zenk nails him with a superkick! Zenk pumps his fists as the fans are up and cheering. Zenk picks up the announcer's mic. "Anytime! Anyplace! Taylor!" Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Troy Callos and Dean Kaiser Jumbo hits a knee drop from the top rope and tags in Fujinami. Fujinami wins the match with the Dragon Plex! Resnick: 7 months as AWA World tag champs, Crockett Cup winners, won the titles vs. titles match at WrestleRock. Is there a more dominant team in wrestling? I hope the Olympians are on their A plus game at the Rupp Arena. Commercial Break AWA TV Title Bout Nick Busick (C) vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man Vin points to Kelly as Kelly does a double bicep pose. The boos turn to cheers when Busick makes his way up the aisle. The Ref gets Vin out of the ring and signals for the bell. These two powerhouses lock up and move back and forth. Kelly rears back and pushes Busick down. Vin claps as Kelly poses at Busick. They lock up again, this time Busick rears back and pushes Kelly down. An irate Kelly gets up and charges Busick but Busick back drops him. Kelly staggers up as Busick clotheslines him over the top rope! Vin rushes over and tends to Kelly. Fun seeing Iceman get the battle royal win. Tough Guys edge out Spartanburg Vice in a pretty even match up. Smiley racks up another as does Siva. Andersons look solid. I would love to see them get Candy up for a double gordbuster LOL. Slick gets his boys DQed, but the important thing is they walked out with their titles. Tully gets the best of the Raging Bull as he gears up for his rematch with Flair. Speaking of Flair, his title reign is off to a good start. Albany, Haystacks gets the fans warmed up by squashing 3 men. King, Hase and Barry O get nice mid card wins. Stud Stable moves up a notch with that win over S&S. I don't think Slick's cane would've stopped the Road Warriors tonight.

This is such a great idea! Super Strong Machine opens things up with a big win over Burke. Nice sportsmanship. Pillman getting buzz in Japan is a pretty big deal. Tremendous win for The Pride, especially with Kobayashi on the other side. Badd Co. gets the win, but the Wild Things prove themselves. Windham and Hennig are defiantly back on track. LOL, only Rose could get that kind of reaction in Japan. However, he did earn Tatsumi's respect. Black Tiger is truly an international star. I can't see him losing his title anytime soon. Damn! Severn and Akira get brutal! This is going to be a wild ride. Owen shines but in the end, Shiro walks out with his title. Young makes Backlund proud by surviving Choshu and Fujiwara. Inoki vs. Bock in Japan is a big time main event. The match lives up to its hype and goes to a thrilling 60 minute draw. Standing ovation. Excellent job!

AWA @ The Quandt Fieldhouse, Stevens Point WI 6-12-87 The Bruise Brothers defeated Two Prelim Wrestlers with a double running axehandle smash! Bruise Brothers wrestled very aggressively. "The Japanese Fury" Yoshiaki Yatsu defeated Gene Ligon with a belly to back suplex "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko defeated Jerry "Alright" Allen with a spinning neckbreaker "Crippler" Rip Oliver defeated Jesse Barr w/Nelson Royal by DQ- Barr's new Wild Bunch partner, Wendell Cooley hit the ring and attacked Oliver to cause the DQ. Wild Bunch then double clotheslined Oliver with their bullrope. Lots of heat. The British Bombers and Quebec Coalition w/Frenchy Martin battled to a 15 minute draw. These teams will wrestle for the National tag titles in a few weeks, so this was a prime time scouting match. After the match, both teams nodded to each other with respect while motioning their hands around their wastes as if to say we'll see who ends up as National Tag Champs. "Terrific" Terry Taylor defeated "Dynamite" DJ Peterson- DJ had Taylor pinballing all over the ring until he missed a diving shoulder block from the top rope. Taylor staggered up, swung off the ropes and nailed DJ with the flying 5 arm to get the win. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka vs. TNT These guys have some serious issues stemming from WrestleRock. Curtis Iaukea is still MIA. TNT went at Snuka with a vengeance. Snuka came back with brutality of his own. The fans were into this hard hitting match. TNT tried to end things with his mist but before he could spit it out, Snuka lunged forward with a jumping headbutt. The mist spewed into the air. Snuka scoop slammed TNT, then went to the top rope and hit the Superfly Splash to send the fans home happy.

Well, it appears Muta is a lot more focused and sharp without Kendo and Tojo around. Doug Gilbert found out real quick what pro wrestling is all about. I cracked up at Eddie blaming Steiner and Benoit. Then he puts down Scott Rex for legally winning. Great stuff here. Woman's plan is coming along nicely. Will it all come together at Mayhem? I'm really into the Dibiase/Murdoch feud. So well done. Each week gets better. Can't wait for the blow off. Freebirds are having a great laugh at Cocoa's expense. They better be careful because as we've seen in this game, Cocoa can get crazy. Ross can continue to ignore it but the Revolution is coming. I was shocked to see Brad Armstrong's name involved. You're on to something special here.
-
You know you're in for a great show when Moretti and Combs kick things off. It's going to be a tough job getting the TV title off Moretti. Chase beats KC in a rough and tough season match. Credit to you for these cool hype pieces and merchandise ads. Great marketing for WWW. The next season match is more cleanly wrestled than the previous. Winona gets the win and is a good sport about it. Heck of a main event with Velvet and Richter tearing into each other. In a familiar look, dual champ Richter ends the show standing tall.
-
The Pride gets a big win over the Guerreros. Young Eddie is getting frustrated. Damn, what a debut by Akira! Can't wait until him and Severn collide. Well, it was only a matter of time. Art and Cactus get discharged from the Army. I can only imagine the chaos those two will cause. Anvil is really out to prove himself. I could read these Bock/Backlund interactions all day. Bock's calendar is pretty full, but he makes room for a defense against Backlund. That is if he gets by Inoki in Japan. Harts beat the Bomb Squad in a classic to end the show. Portland, Akira steps up the competition and gets the win over Mando. When Garvin lands his punch, it's all over. I knew Sid would be pissed. Konnan gets the powerbomb and Payne gets the win. Windham and Hennig get back on the winning track. Wow! Didn't see this coming as TDT turns on Finlay and hooks up with the Playboy Club. That Rose is a genius. Black Gold proves their title win wasn't a fluke. Smart booking giving Billy Jack the title shot in Portland. Knight's interference protects Bob's title shot. However, Tatum and Victory are really getting under Bob's skin. Eugene. Rainbow Warriors open up with a nice win over the former champs Badd Co. Bubba rebounds from his TV title loss with a big win over Leo. Hennig gets some satisfaction on Young. Fun contrast of styles match between Furnas and Sabu. Jarrett gets a moral victory by taking Tiger to the limit. Even though he came up short, Grizzly is put over strong. Great strategy by St. Clair. He's going to have an entertaining TV title reign.
