  3. The war between Studd, Brody and Shultz is at an all time high. Maybe a 3 way match is coming. That would be epic! Islanders seem pumped up and ready for the Midnight Express. LOL, Watts says Corny cant get out of the stipulation. Kevin confronts Hart but get attacked by Killer Khan! Hart has assembled a dangerous group of monsters. Strongbow is back and says this time will be different. Glamour Boys finally get a satisfying win over the Highway Men. But it looks like Paul Jones has some interest in the Highway Men. Could be trouble for the Glamour Boys. Oh Man! Windham makes short work of Tatum and sends him packing for a bit. LOL, great TV moment.
  4. The violence has gone to a new level in the Rocky Mountains! Bulba nails Rich with the brass knuckles to get the win but Johnny Rich will fight another day. Atlas beats the Sheik at his own game and the Sheik is irate. Man he did a number on SBS with the club! Atlas vs. Sheik will be a war! JJ arrives and is now managing Bart and Bass! It wont be long before they get some gold. Talk about a fight. Dr. Death and Leduc brawl to a double c.o. This one has only just begun. 7 Heart punches!!!! Damn! Ox shows why he's as dangerous as ever as he sends Sonny King to the hospital. This was really well done on TV showing how brutal and graphic it was. What's next for Ox and who's going to want to get in the ring with him??? Kevin gets revenge on Adams but seems like he wants to help him return to his old self. We'll see how this plays out. Ladd gets the win over Manny but the story is after the match as Mulligan and Dory unite against Ladd and Grizzly! Cant wait for that tag match.
  5. Always liked the Battle Royal kicking off a show and determining the matches. Brody wins it and gets a shot at Bock. The most intriguing match to me was Barry Windham and Kerry Von Erich. Of course they put on a wrestling classic and go 20 minutes. Good stuff. Brody and Bock would of been awesome to watch live. That no good Studd interferes and costs Brody his chance to be champ. With no doubt this extends their feud.
  6. The Royal Family is looking brutal as they put down the Vachons. Billy/Texas Red and the Marauders are venturing into a bloody feud. Taylor retains as he puts down Super Strong Machine. I think Taylor and the TV title is a perfect match. Oh man looks like a new feud is starting as Rose uses the old powder on Bravo then proceeds to give a beatdown. Piper defends against Flowers but the post match was the story as Wiskowski attacks Piper. Piper vs. Wiskowski will be a lot of fun.
  7. Great job with the TV hyping up the tournament. Also the plot thickens between Bob Armstrong and Terry Funk. The fans got their money's worth with some dream tournament match ups. Funk is ruthless as he makes it to the finals while Armstrong's odds are slim as he gets the mist from Super Ninja. Brad tries his best but the Funker is just to much as he piledrives his way to the title!! Terry Funk as champion is such a perfect choice in Continental. Cant wait for the reign of Funk!
  8. Action packed opening as Armstrong/Bassarab and McCord have enough of MX-1 and the Assassins and take them down in an impromptu match. Flair and Heenan get one over on Orndorff but they might pay for that as a rematch is ordered with Heenan barred! Chaos in the AWA tag title bout! Bad News and Hansen brawl as Adnan fireballs Bret! WOW! Adnan is sending someone more dangerous than him? This is trouble! And once again the Movement walk out with the titles. The feuds are red hot in Stampede!
  9. Great stuff with the aftermath of Backlund's stunning title loss to Magnum. I like the mix between Backlund's craziness and Arnold's more subdued approach. A Road Warriors/Moondogs brawl would of given me my money's worth for sure. Like the team of Robinson and Quinn. They could be very dangerous. Johnson retains against Roop in what looked like a classic.
  10. Super Black Ninja continues his winning ways. Grapplers and Sheepherders get in nice wins. Cooley and Muraco is a fun match. Looks like Muraco got frustrated and DQed. Oh man I wonder who this masked man is attacking Funk??? OMG/Garvin and Bugsy win round 1 over Devastation Inc. Herc retains against Street. Loving Herc as Southeastern champ. Fantastics and Stud Stable look like they're heading into a wild feud.

Ivan 'Polish Power' Putski and The Cuban Assassins w/Ratamyus vs. Sean and Sam Smith and Gary Williams Brutal squash as Putski and the Assassins just tear their opponents up. Ratamyus even gets in some cheap shots. The finish comes when the Assassins beat down the Smith brothers then swing Williams to the ropes as Putski nails him with the Polish Hammer for the pin! They aren't done as the Assassins pick up Williams and hit a double rib breaker! Ratamyus leads his men to the podium. Ratamyus: Cocoa Samoa! You stupid weak man. It doesn't matter who you bring to help. Did you just see what my men did in that ring? In 7 short days I will finally be done with you and you will be out of wrestling for good! Lance: Very threatening words. Before we go to a commercial here's some pre recorded comments from Cocoa Samoa. Cocoa: Ratamyus! Just remember who retired you. That's nothing compared to the beating your henchmen will receive. Yea you took my brothers Tio and Tapu out but now you have to suffer the wrath of my other brothers. Get ready because I know we are! Commercial Break Lance: Fans, joining me now is Denny Brown. Denny you won a title contenders match in Florida awhile back and I know you've been thinking about which title you will be going after. I understand you have an answer. Denny: Yes I do Lance. I'm very happy and excited to announce that..... There's a big commotion from the fans. Lance: Whoa wait just a minute! Buddy Landel! What are you doing here? Landel: Oh Lance it's so hard to be humble when I'm perfect in every way. That's right Mr. AWA has arrived to (looks around in distain) TNT. But hey it's all good for TNT because the ratings on the USA network are about to sky rocket because MR. AWA is here on TV baby. Now I don't wait for opportunity, I just take it. (looks at Denny) I understand you have a shot at any title in the AWA. Is that right boy? Denny: The name is Denny and yes I do. Landel: Denny? They always get my order wrong. Anyways, I don't wait in line for title shots so I'll make this simple. I want your title shot. Come on, does anybody here think this dork can honestly win a title? I'm a proven champion. So what do you say? Night of champions? You got the guts boy? Denny: You sure like to talk. I'll tell you what. Since I'm already tired of hearing you talk and I'm sure these fans are to. I'll put my title shot on the line but if I win then you have to leave TNT. Now, do you have the guts...boy? Landel: Kiss your shot goodbye. Buddy pulls a comb out of his pocket, combs back his hair and struts out. Lance: Ok, looks like we have a match set for Night of Champions. Unbelievable. Fergie pounds away on DJ then holds him up. Young goes to the top rope. Fergie holds DJ by his hair as Young nails him with a diving clothesline! Young gives DJ a stomp before leaving. My guests at this time are the AWA Southern tag champs The Fabulous Ones and George Wells. Footage from last week is shown as Wells turns down the Movement's offer and gets hit with a briefcase. The Fabs run off Whatley and Conway. Wells: First I want to thank Stan and Steve. That could of been real bad for me. Next I want to warn the Movement that I'll be keeping a close eye on that AWA tag title match to make sure things don't get out of hand. Fabulous Ones, I got your backs. Lane: Thanks George. We all know the Movement loves to play the numbers game but at Night of champions that just wont work. Keirn: You boys have done nothing but disgrace those titles. Have you beaten anybody fair and square? Rest assured that's exactly what we're going to do come Night of Champions! Lance: That should be a dandy. Back to the ring. TNT Brass Knuckles Champ Hercules Ayala vs. Vic Dutro Ayala looks more than ready for his AWA title shot as he just mauls his opponent. Let's hear some pre recorded comments from the AWA World Champ Ted Dibiase. Dibiase: Night of champions! I once again come back to TNT. I beat Jumbo Tsuruta! I beat Tully Blanchard! Take notes Ayala. I can wrestle with the best and beat them and I can brawl with the best and beat them! (Holds up his black glove) And I'm not afraid to knock somebody like you out! The title comes home with me! Commercial Break Lance: Fans, with me now is Curt Hennig. Curt I know this has been an emotional ride for you as you get ready for Tully Blanchard at Night of Champions. By the way, how's your dad doing? Curt: Dad's doing better. Thanks for asking Lance. There's nothing worse than seeing your father suffer. He's suffering because of Tully Blanchard. I want Tully to listen real.... Boos as Tully comes out. Curt is fuming. Lance: Hold on. Just a minute. Gentleman please remain calm. Tully maybe you better just go. Tully: Go? I will not be disrespected any more! Boo Hoo poor Larry Hennig. he should be suffering and I hope he's had a chance to ponder and reflect on what a poor job he's done as commissioner. The guy has no business in an position of authority. Total abuse of power. I personally think he was making up for his shortcomings as a wrestler and as a father! WHAM! Curt levels Tully then tackles him and just starts pounding away on him with fists! Lance calls for help and officials come out to break it up. Commercial Break Lance: That situation between Curt Hennig and Tully Blanchard is real personal and I hope things will be settled at Night of champions. TV champ Austin Idol is in the ring and his opponent at Night of Champions. Art Crews will be joining me for commentary. Crews: Tully Blanchard is right. There is way to much disrespect going on here. Lance! What is my name? Lance: Once again I apologize, the Ace Art Crews. TV Champ 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol vs. William Hillman Idol works over Hillman while Crews tells Lance how he's a more superior wrestler than Idol. Idol finishes Hillman off with the Las Vegas Leglock for the submission win! Crews: Lance, as you know I can time my victories. Well, watch as I put the so called TV champ down in less than 10 seconds. Crews hits the ring. Idol turns around and Crews takes him down with a shoulder tackle! Crews picks up the TV title and puts his boot on Idol as he holds the title up to the booing fans. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, what a show this has been. The Ace Art Crews just made a serious statement and I'm sure Austin Idol wont forget that come Night of Champions. Our main event happens right now. TNT Champ Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Superstar Bill Dundee vs. The Roughnecks Lawler and Dundee hit the ring with fists flying! 12. Kevin Kelly is going berserk with the brass knuckles LOL. He sure is making a lot of enemies. It was fun while it lasted for both Davis and Gilbert and now Abdullah is champ. You have to be always on guard in Florida. Hoping Valentine reemerges in the main event scene and it looks like he might after getting beat down by Abdullah. Tony Atlas comes to town and immediately wins a title! And of course the Gino/Savage feud continues to be a highlight. The build has guaranteed a sell out for their inevitable match.
  13. Houston kicks off the program with some fire. LOL, HTM tells his side of the story. I don't think he'll be so pompous when Kerry comes looking for payback. Love the pairing of Orton and Jones. Orton is a serious threat to Windham. The Movement deliver a passionate promo but then drop one to the Youngbloods and Adias. Nice to see the babyfaces fight fire with fire. Can the Youngbloods carry the momentum into their AWA title match? Gary Hart brings back Kamala! I think the pieces in WCCW are complete. Oh man, Savoldi and Powers give the Midnights a tough match but good ol Corny once again comes through for his boys. Might be a different story when he's handcuffed to Watts! Another great show full of solid matches, great promos and fun surprises.
  14. Great reintroduction of the one and only Dory Funk! I'm sure we'll see Dory in action very soon. This territory is right up his alley. Nice feud going between Ox and Sonny. Will Ox finally put Sonny down with the Heart Punch? Or will the bolo punch prevail? Oh man Chris Adams might be in serious trouble! He can hurt Mike but now Kevin is here. Whole different story. Sheik and Volkoff look absolutely brutal! They use the Persian clubs to break the lock and then use them to beat down Atlas and SBS! All this allows the Movement to once again retain the titles. Looks like the Movement has an endless amount of cash LOL. Mulligan puts Ladd down!!! Ladd is furious and then learns he must defend his title against Mulligan. Oh man! I think Mulligan has Ladd's number. Got to give Grizzly Boone some props as he pinned both Dr. Death and Fernandez! Not a bad outing.
  15. Love the new storylines! Billy Jack now has Texas Red as an ally! Just the guy he needs to fight Slater and Borne. This feud will be awesome! Royal Family vs. Guerreros...YES Please! Hogan and Nord will put on some great power man matches. Hogan might need somebody in his corner to fight off Larry Z. The Starrs and Jake the Snake are a perfect blend. Talk about a very dangerous alliance. I'm all for Rose and Sommers teaming up! Always liked this team. French Revolution better watch out. Piper retains against Rose. Cant wait to see who's next for Piper. Terry Taylor has been one of my favorite storylines in the game. He finally leaves the Brigade and just in time as the FRREBIRDS arrive and take out the Brigade! The Freebirds are here and it looks like they're ready to wreak havoc!!!! Get ready Pacific.
  16. Good round of matches on the loop. I noticed Kerry got a shot at the title, some possible seeds planted here. Barry retains against Adias in what looked to be a fun and clean match. LOL, I'm loving HTM's title reign. Defeating Houston with his feet on the ropes is perfect. Islanders are taking the Midnights to the limit. These are money worth matches. The Von Erichs get a DQ win over the Movement. It's going to be hard taking those titles since the Movement have the numbers game working for them.
  17. Gino's promos were gold! He just might be crazier than I thought, antagonizing Randy like that LOL. Turn around of the week has got to go to Scott Casey. He wins a cage match over Graham and then goes on a winning streak by beating Lane and Kabuki! Mike Davis ends Kernodle's solid reign. WOW! Travis upsets Dory Funk! Dory does get some revenge a couple nights later. I'm all for a Konga/Purple Haze feud. Talk about a wild one. Sweet! Looks like we're going to get Dusty and JYD vs. The Briscos!
  18. Good Grief Continental is on fire! LOL, another hilarious letter from Landel. I was cracking up. That leads right into Funk/Bullet. I knew it was only a matter of time before Funk gets involved in something LOL. The man is a psychotic genius and manages to get Bullet suspended and the title off him. Muraco and Fuji are getting a lot of buzz and it seems Muraco wants the title. Smothers comes back home and accepts Ninja's title shot. Baron has arrived and immediately aligns with Akbar. Liked that Armstrongs/Grapplers match. Funk interferes and declares war on the Armstrongs! On to the Civic Center, Muraco's momentum continues as he takes Cash down. Smothers comes up short as Ninja retains. Ninja vs. Armstrong will be a classic. Oh Yea! OMG brings in his old buddy Ron Garvin! Smart move as Garvin will be more than happy to go toe to toe with Devastation Inc. Looks like Bugsy is up for the fight as well. Nothing like heel teams going at it. Sheepherder's rule breaking is a step ahead of the Grapplers tonight. Fuji and Akbar going at it is all sorts of fun. Looking forward to the Street/Madril title match next week. Herc retains against Olympia and solidifies himself as champ. NEW CHAMPS! Fantastics come in and defeat the Stud Stable! Oh man Fuller and Golden will be hot LOL. The show's aftermath was epic! Funk is NUTS! He beats Scott and Steve but wait a minute, Brad and a new ref hit the ring and Brad gets a flash pin on Funk! Funk goes insane and tears the place up and even puts original ref Ken Timbs down. Funk is going to run rampant in Continental! Great stuff!
  19. Whoa man a lot going on in Stampede! MX-1 and the Assassins take the early segments over. I like this new faction. Bassarab, Rich and Ritchie are perfect foes. Damn! Sheik and Slaughter just about kill Tito! Adnan is fired! Slaughter must now face the wrath of Tito. Bad News takes the money and joins the Movement! Huge swerve! Hansen and Bad News will be one hard hitting feud! Cant wait for the Hart Foundation/Movement match. Should be interesting with Hansen as the Ref. I'll say it again, the Movement is taking over the AWA. Dibiase and Flair put on a classic. Orndorff causes just enough of a distraction for Dibiase to retain. Up next Flair vs. Orndorff...YES!

The Movement is what's happening in the AWA. Conway: Which brings me to my next point and that's you George Wells. As you know, the Movement is taking over the AWA and brother we want you in. We want you to represent the Movement in TNT. Show him Shaska. Shaska pulls out a briefcase, opens it up revealing money. Conway: Just consider this a down payment. Brother, there's plenty more where that came from. Join us and you'll be taken care of. Wells looks at the money and takes a moment. Wells: I thank you but I must respectfully decline. I tried joining a group and took the shortcut but I soon found out it went against everything I believed in. From now on it's all about hard work and earning my way. These fans forgave me and I'm in a better place now. Conway: Better place? Man, you nothing but a puppet and you're to stupid to realize it! Wells: Hold on one second! The fans boo as Valiant leads Rogers to the podium. Lance: Johnny, I understand you have made some adjustments with your men. Valiant: Lance, you know what makes me the greatest manager in the AWA? I'm always looking for ways to improve. I have revamped things. My man Goldie Rogers will become the Light heavyweight champ on Oct. 4th so I'm prepping him for life as a champ and gearing him up for the title defenses. Mr. Electricity and The Golden Boy will now team as the Blonde Bombers and how fitting it is that their first victory together will be against those phonies "The Real Deal" later tonight. Rogers: Armstrong! Listen up Jack! Come Night of Champions I'm going to beat, stomp and pound you down and then I'm going to take that title! Valiant: You tell him baby! Commercial Break Gino Brito and Tony Parisi vs. The Enforcers w/Gene Anderson These teams have been feuding all over the territory and tonight they start with a brawl. Gene gets out of there as they continue to fight. The Ref is trying to get control as he's in the corner trying to break up Parisi and DellaSerra. Gene slides a chair into the ring as Brito hammers away on Charland in the opposite corner. Gene gets on the apron and grabs Brito. Brito hits Gene and grabs him by his shirt. Charland picks up the chair and whacks Brito across the back! Brito falls back and Charland covers. Gene yells at the Ref. The Ref turns around, runs over and makes the count 1..2..3! Commercial Break Lance: Well, thanks to Gene Anderson and a chair, the Enforcers get the win. Hold on here comes Tony Parisi. Parisi: Enough is enough! This issue will be resolved! At night of champions, Brito and myself want the Enforcers and we want a loser leaves town match! Anderson! Do your boys have the guts? Lance: Ok, the challenge has been made. Commercial Break Lance: My guest at this time is Tully Blanchard. Massive boos as Tully storms out. Tully takes his sunglasses off. Tully: From day one Larry Hennig has disrespected me and did everything in his power to make sure I wouldn't become AWA champion! He blatantly costs me the world title and nobody blinks an eye! I take matters into my own hands and now I'm the bad guy? So now big papa bear sends his little cub Curt to do his dirty work. Curt! You're out of your league son and at Night of Champions I'm going to put you down and you'll be healing along side your stupid old man at home. Lance: A very emotional Tully Blanchard. Big tag match up next. The Real Deal vs. The Blonde Bombers w/Johnny Valiant McGhee and Vaughn start with fire as they work the Bombers over with high octane offense and quick tags. Official Ruling- No Contest Commercial Break Lance: Oh my what a fight! I was told The Enforcers have accepted the loser leaves town challenge for Night of Champions. Also, Mike Shaw will take on Jumbo Tsuruta and Gene Anderson will be barred from ringside. It's been quite a show and I believe we're set for our featured bout. 'Superstar' Bill Dundee vs. Killer Brooks w/Bob Sweetan Sweetan accompanies his Roughneck partner as Dundee enters the ring. Brooks attacks at the bell and punches Dundee down. 21. Another great show that kicks off with a classic Bock promo. Cant wait to see what's next for Bock. Tugboat surprises Stan the Man by taking him to the limit. Thunderfoots get a strong debut TV win over the Battens. Brody is a madman! Shultz and Studd better watch out. Barry gives a passionate promo. Tatum might of picked the wrong time for a challenge. Gary Hart and Kabuki together again in WCCW! I can only imagine what Hart is plotting. Fun main event. HTM is the classic cowardly heel. Kerry is the ideal person the fans want to see beat HTM up. HTM abruptly ends the match with a guitar shot! Oh man, Kerry is going to be out for blood.
  22. Oh man the war between Ladd's army and Mulligan's is escalating to new levels! Good to see Bart and Bass teaming up. Always liked them as a team. Nice job on the Ox/Sonny build. Very threatening and frightening promo from Ox. Adams really wants a piece of Mike Von Erich. Loving Johnny Rich. He's come in and is taking on the monsters. This kid has guts. Things in Rocky Mountain are going to get nuts with Sheik and Volkoff coming in. What way to end the show as Kendall takes a huge beating from Ladd's army! This just adds fuel to Mulligan's fire. The Denver card is going to be epic!
  23. Oh man, the Freebirds and Rose Army in the same place! This is a game changer.
  24. Studd and Dr. D ends just how you think it would LOL. Glamour Boys get some shine and give the Midnights a run for their money, LOL, will Ferris be the greatest Southwestern champ of all time? Watching Bock and Kevin go 60 minutes would defiantly give me my money's worth.
  25. LOL, yea Terry Funk might get line of the year with "Jive Turkeys" That was just to funny! Continental does it again with Smokey Mountain Massacre. Love that team of Muraco/Ninja and the Grapplers along with Fuji. What a visual. Street seems to be winning his feud with Lars. Sheepherders might be suspended from TV but they pick up a strong house show win over the Armstrongs. Bundy and OMG's feud continues. Nothing resolved...yet. The Movement shows off their strength in numbers as they take down Cooley and Olympia. Brad gets a great win over the Great One. Great One rebounds from his loss and plays a huge factor in sending the Birds packing. The Stud Stable was riding high until Bullet spoils everything and takes the title from Landel! Bullet will need allies as I'm sure the entire Stud Stable will be gunning for him, the title and his mask.
