  1. Him grooming the horse with the mask was the highlight. Very noble man, very noble beast.
  2. So we really are getting a feud out of this. Hoping for some sewer matches, pizza matches, karate matches, rat on a pole matches.
  3. Cool use of the chain here, a callback to Lawler's heel work, but using it as a face move to stop cheating heels. Great crowd reaction and a good finish.
  4. Onita was the standout here but boy I really enjoyed Goto working a grueling style. I don't fully know how his face got so bloody, but it looks like there was shrapnel or something from the explosions. I might not have liked this as much if it were longer but I really enjoyed it at the length it was. Good work in the figure four.
  5. I don't remember Flair going back and feuding with Luger, I thought he went straight to teaming with Arn. Interested to see the match then.
  6. Ahaha this was Ranger Ross? Very funny. His movements were very awkward seeming and his body just doesn't fit the gimmick. He also throws one very poor looking moonsault for the win.
  7. Ehh pretty long match here, and the filming and me being unfamiliar with Zrno and Schumann (I didn't really know which was which) made this a bit hard for me. The crowd was into it and the work was good, but I think this is a case of me not quite "getting" it.
  8. Really liked the use of the football helmet here. First as protection against the kendo stick, then as a visual aid popping off, then as a weapon used against Austin.
  9. Warrior looks so weird here again. It's really throwing me off.
  10. I don't think I've ever seen Lord Alfred Hayes before. I thought he was way older than he looks? This was pretty funny, these two play off each other well.
  11. Flair shows a different kind of arrogance here, good depth and nuance of the character which he's mastered over the last decade. I guess it's kind of by the numbers but it's solid and successful.
  12. Awesome heel tactic here, putting the blame on Sting for anyone who ends up in the hospital at the hands of the Horsemen. The "you made me do this" domestic abuser trick is a great tool for heels.
  13. Luger looks insane with his clothing tattered, and not in a good way. Totally weird. I forgot JYD hung around this long too. I think he's on his way out soon?
  14. Good promo. Sid serves his purpose and Ole admits to trying to break poor Tim Horner's leg. Can't ask for much more.
  15. So at the beginning of month it felt like things were changing up a bit, so it looks like this feud is expanding to include Percy. We'll see what happens but I don't know about this.
  16. Hahaha man this thing is weird looking. I'd love to find one and hang it in the living room.
  17. I'd love to get a look at Chief Thunder Mountain.
  18. Dawna is back with her best Teen Report yet. Tony is so good here man. He's totally playing off Dawna. There's a great moment when Dawna flinches at Tony's bicep being flexed.
  19. Good but frustrating promo from Sting. I've always wondered how much of it was booking and how much of it was his own kind of tone deafness or misreading his position and how to convey it or what that leads to Sting very rarely feeling like The Man. It's a combination of both obviously, but I'm just not sure which is the larger part.
  20. The clip comes in at a really interesting point, it's exactly where the match turns and the arm work gets negated. The first 10 minutes I really like actually. Hansen sells the arm well and has to use his other arm for offense, and Misawa works it over really well. But I hesitate to say it's an issue of Hansen not selling the arm work or jay blowing it off, because the whole tone of the match changes. I mean, he completely blows off the arm work, but it doesn't come off as a fault of his, but rather the fault of the match structure. So what were left with is two very good but very different segments of a match but together as one.
  21. This is all good stuff and it shouldn't feel incomplete because that's all the footage that was shown and that's how the tv worked but I can't help but feel like I'm missing out by not seeing the full MSC matches.
  22. This was really funny. Arsenio cracks some good jokes and the stupid Rude tights with Arsenio had me really going. I love having these kinds of segments on here, they've been some of the most enjoyable.
  23. Hmm not a lot here to grab on to, but Jumbo and Kabuki (!) win the tag titles, and Stan Hansen is out to screw over MVC.
  24. Whoever the politician lady is was working those throws. I don't believe for a second she's got a black belt in whatever that was.
