  1. Mate, we're basically stealing it at this point. Unbelievable how much content we're getting for $10. The vault is building up nicely. I'm never cancelling my subscription no matter how uninterested I'am with current WWE.
  2. The Andre collection coming Monday looks awesome. http://www.wwe.com/wwe-network-2018-collections A full Bock/Andre match? Has this been released before? Its on youtube but only 6 1/2 minutes.
  3. As far as the STWW Houston episode, I read nothing but positive comments on social media at the time it came out, Bruce sounded really passionate but Conrad didn't know a damn thing about Houston and he never knew the footage was out and therefore couldn't contribute at all. Cant wait to watch that Territories episode, Love the Houston territory. I just wish the footage would resurface again. DAMN YOU BILLY CORGAN.
  4. I reckon Rey Mysterio will be someone's partner at Mania. Either Braun or Bryan.
  5. I'm sure Heyman would do a much better job inducting Goldberg then Flair inducting Sting.
  6. Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa finds out Jebediah Springfield was a murderous pirate and wants to tell the town but realizes his good image means too much to the town.
  7. They should name a battle royal after him and see what the reaction is.
  8. I think that John Cena's promo on RAW Monday night pretty much gave it away when he took a shot at him and Michelle McCool. The only times when they referred to Taker's personal life historically was in his American Bad Ass/Big Evil period. When last years WM ramp was the size of a football field, it would save A LOT of time riding the bike down and back.
  9. I've always thought this was the reason HHH won. The 1st WM with 2 champs, they didn't want two celebrations.
  10. WWE Photo Shoot is one of my new favorite shows. Just watched the Jim Cornette one. Brilliant.
  11. Hard to say. She grew up poor and she might have just been driven to make money and be a scumbag in general. Burke as far as I have ever seen doesn't have those kinds of accusations against her. Burke. No. Husband Billy Wolfe. Yes.
  12. I do wonder if Moolah went through the same terrible things getting into the business.
  13. Why did Cena mention Taker's wife? Now he has to come back as the American Badass. Maybe new HOFer Kid Rock can sing his theme at WM.
  14. I was initially excited for Mid Atlantic but once you see the small studio with 50 people and most of the matches are just squashes it's just not exciting enough. I'm actually surprised myself how much I'm enjoying the All Star shows, it just has a much better atmosphere with the larger crowd and the match ups seen to be more equal than Mid Atlantic. Also it's 70s TV which is very rare for any promotion.
  15. August 11 1979 - Piper and Jose Estrada put on a really good match. I need to see more Estrada, he looked good here. The tape tracking throughout was pretty annoying but it's still watchable. Nov 17 1979 - Tito Santana & Ivan Putski vs. Jose Estrada & Pete Doherty Damn, this was great, fast paced, great action, they fitted a lot in 8 minutes. Recommended.
  16. Backlund & Kobayashi have a decent 13 minute bout on the 6/3/78 episode. Just watched Santana & Rodz have a good 8 minute match on the 6/2/79 episode.
  17. Flair and Steamboat in their 60s would've gone an hour and given fans their money's worth, even if the match was shit. I like Lesnar but this shit is appalling. And when is Kane going to retire, 50 should be the cutoff point for any wrestler. Someone needs to tell Vince, 'Out with the old, in with the new'.
  18. First match I'm watching. All Star Wrestling 06/03/1978 Bob Backlund defends the WWE Championship against Strong Kobayashi in a memorable bout.
  19. For a moment I thought The Rock was in that limo. Just odd that WWE never showed who it was. Anyone think Cena vs Nakamura might happen at Fastlane? Will Taker come "home" to confront Cena?
  20. You just thought with everyone they invited and the 2 locations that we would've got a decent show, WWE completely disrespected their audience tonight and I don't think fans are getting fooled by another milestone show anytime soon.
  21. What a pathetic effort tonight. Everyone should stop watching wwe now. Creativity is at an all-time low. Everyone at the Manhattan Center deserves a refund.
  22. I enjoyed this but what a tease. Together they held the WWE championship for 17 years and yet no documentaries on either guy hasn't been made which is a crime. A 10 minute interview with these legends is an insult.
  23. On the Ricky Steamboat documentary the pinfall is shown, does that mean WWE has the master copy and possibly Flair/Valentine? What source is this pinfall footage from? I thought Jim Nelson's copy was the only one that existed with the missing fall. From the Mid Atlantic Gateway interview w/ Jim Nelson Feb 2004 Q: Did you have a copy of the tape of the Final Conflict show before you left? A: I think it was that following Monday after the Greensboro show, we knew the show had been taped, so we asked Emerson Lawson, who produced the TVs then, if he would make us a copy, and he told us he would if we brought him a VHS tape. There wasn’t room for the Flair/Valentine broadway so he didn’t include that. I bought the best quality VHS blank I could find and brought it to him. Hopefully with Mid Atlantic coming to the WWE Network we get the full Final Conflict show along with other JCP taped events.
  24. I think Brock's lack of passion for wrestling seems to get under people's skin, therefore gets a lot of hate. We really should be thankful he wrestles at all because there is nobody else like him. In my opinion he is the Johnny Valentine of this generation.
  25. I've watched this twice and I can only give it ****1/4. The first half was Brock in full WCW Vader mode which was awesome. I was expecting Brock to throw AJ Spike Dudley style into the crowd. Thankfully AJ came back and made it competitive but the awkward spinning DDT miss and the Brock clothesline which I don't think AJ was expecting just brings this down a tad, other than that it's a very good match, the calf crusher spot was awesome, Brock's face reminded me of Austin in the anklelock at Summerslam 01. I hope they have a rematch, I think they could outdo this one easily.
