  1. I really enjoy how you are able to use the TV show to set up the upcoming cards. Very realistic. -Hansen and Brody both after Flair! Woooo, Natch better watch his back! -JYD is huge is Southeast and could be a star for as long as he wants to be.
  2. Nice start to ACCW! Some great names to watch here and Orndorff vs Valentine is the perfect place to get started! Thanks for jumping in

As well the TV cameras should have been rolling. Whatg a night in Nashville as the fans are treated to 12 big matches. -I think Quick Draw should get a Lt. HW tiitle match -Brown vs Wilhoit is a nice undercard feud going. The Guerreros and the Sheepherders is a wild brawl every time. They are both big team and whoever eventually takes this feud may be in line for a title shot. -Surprised Jumbo got the clean win but Jumbo is Jumbo and could some day win the World Title. Is this the beginning of the end of Robinson? I bet not and Jumbo better be readt. All of your title matches were really even and could have gone either way which is a nice way to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. -Same could be said for Funk and Idol... looking forward to Funk getting a title shot! TNT is ready for 2019 as that could have easily been a pay per view
  4. All-Star sends Steve O, Steve Regal and Dream Machine to TNT for Bob Sweetan, Koko Ware and Sweet Brown Sugar
  5. Nice card here. Paul Jones is on fire and all that is left is to see if he can take the belt off of Flair. Interested to see if the Rat Patrol can build on their non-title win and take down the Midnight Express.
  6. AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING: March 10, 1984: WGN TV: Winnipeg Arena From coast to coast, continent to continent and border to border, we welcome you to AWA All-Star Wrestling coming to you from the Winnipeg Arena. I am Rod Trongard and joining me will be Gene Okerlund. STORYLINE #1: AWA NORTH AMERICAN TITLE We get video tape highlights from the Rosemont Horizon and the wild finish were Savage and Bad News Allen defeated Stomper and Bret Hart. Match: Randy Savage destroys Bart Batten with the end coming with Top Rope Elbow Drop Savage continues his “savage” attack on Barton until the crowd explodes as Bret Hart hits the ring. It seems like this is exactly what Savage wanted and he doesn’t back down an inch. This brawl continues until Rod Trongard takes us to commercial break to try and calm the situation down. When we come back, Bret Hart is with Gene Okerlund and he is asking Verne Gagne to come on out. Bret Hart: Verne… I understand you make the matches but enough is enough. Each week Randy Savage comes out here and hurts someone and he says that he will keep doing it until he gets a North American Title shot. It is time for someone to put him in his place and that person he is me! Give Savage the title shot and I will put an end to all this nonsense. Verne Gagne: I am not usually one to give into someone’s demands but if you want Savage in the ring, that is fine by me and the way he has been acting, I hope you teach him some respect. It is now official…. It will be Bret Hart vs Randy Savage on March 28th at the Saddledome on the ESPN Prime Time show. Hart thanks Verne and is really pumped up that this match will take place in Calgary in front of his hometown fans! STORYLINE #2: THE YOUNG LIONS TOURNAMENT Verne Gagne comes out and announces that the Young Lions Round Robin Tournament will officially begin in Calgary on March 23 and the first match will be between Eddie Gilbert and Keiji Mutoh. Verne also announces that the other competitors in the competition will be Davey Boy Smith, Marty Jannetty, Ricky Vaughn, Bart Batten and Kendall Windham. As Rod Trongard is amazed at the talent in this competition, the crowd begins to boo as a large man waving a Russian flag comes to the podium and he is followed by a true physical monster who is wearing a Russian singlet. Trongard is shocked and wonders what Nikolai Volkoff is doing here and who the monster is with him. Volkoff demands that the AWA lives up to its opening where he quotes Trongard and his “From coast to coast, continent to continent and border to border saying and demands a spot for his nephew, Nikita Koloff in the Young Lions Tournament. Verne Gagne: This an open tournament and as long as you can prove he is 25 or younger and we get to see him in the ring today and he can prove he knows his way around the squared circle, he is in. Trongard shakes his head in a nervous manner as he feels that this Russian just might be the real dea! MATCH: Nikita Koloff with Uncle Nikolai vs Tom Stone This match might have lasted 15 seconds as Nikita came out with a forearm to the back followed by an Irish Whip….. WHAM… the first of many Russian Sickles has landed and Stone is out! Trongard is in awe and wonders if we have just seen the winner of the Young Lions Tournament! STORYLINE #3: AWA WORLD TITLE Jerry Lawler is at the interview desk and he is having a good old laugh at Verne Gagne forcing him to meet Hulk Hogan for the AWA title on March 23 in Calgary Jerry Lawler: Oh Vern… you old coot. You think you have the King right where you want him. Well don’t forget a King has an entire kingdom at his beck and call and I would be surprised if Hulk Hogan even makes it to the Saddledome in Calgary. Okerland reminds Lawler that first he has to get by Curt Hennig in the St. Paul Civic Center. Lawler just smirks like that is not even a contest. Later in the show, Hogan is with Okerland hyping up the title match with an in- ring interview when out of nowhere comes none other than 6’4, 315 pound Ox Baker. He clobbers Hogan from behind with a few big taped fist haymakers that has the Hulkster in trouble. Baker whips Hogan into the ropes and nails him with a massive Heart Punch while Trongard is screaming on the mic that Baker needs to be stopped as he has actualy killed a man in the ring with that move. Hogan is down and in a bad way when Rick Martel and Curt Hennig hit the ring and chase Baker away. It takes a long time for Hogan to get to his feet but he is in some trouble. Okerland is still there and somehow Hogan musters the words that he wants Ox Baker in the ring this week in the St. Paul Civic Center. Trongard takes us to break wondering if this is one of Lawler’s henchmen that he was talking about. STORYLINE #4: AWA WORLD TAG TEAMT TITLE MATCH: The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering destroy Buck Zumhofe & Brad Bartenwith the Doomsday Device MATCH: The Sheiks (Blackwell & Patera) with Adnan Al Kassie crush Tom Zenk & Steve O with the Full Nelson by Patera on Steve O Both matches were dominated by the winners as we see to the two top teams on a collision course for the AWA Tag titles in the Saddledome on March 23. This week in St. Paul we will get s little preview as the Road Warriors and Ellering will face the Patera, Blackwell and Sheik Adnan in the St. Paul Civic Center. STORYLINE #5: The Harts vs The Commonwealth Connection MATCH: Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid with Jos Leduc defeat Tony Torres & Okie Smith when Kid connected with a Diving Headbutt on Okie. At the interview with Okerlund, the Commonwealth Connection are real smug as Dynamite Kid showcases his AWA Light Heavyweight title and Davey Boy Smith is sure he will be crowned the 2019 Young Lions of the Year but as Jos Leduc points out, those two things are secondary to running the Harts out of the AWA and in their gauntlet match in Calgary, there will be nothing better then whopping the Harts in their own hometown! STORYLINE #6: The Mongolian Stomper vs Bad News Allen Match: Bad News Allen defeats Jules Strongbow with 3 massive headbutts followed by a piledriver At the post match interview Allen is all fired up about finally getting back into the ring after his suspension and he is yelling about how good it felt last week to finally get his hands on the Mongolian Stomper in the Rosemont Horizon! WHAM! Stomper attacks from behind and we are brawling over the interview area. Jobbers come out to break it up but they are getting tossed around like rag dolls. These two appear to have true hatred for each other. Verne Gagne comes out mid-brawl and takes the microphone and just his aura of power comes things down. Verne Gagne: Enough is enough! You two have already ruined one wrestling promotion with your nonsense. Now in the last two weeks alone security guards and police officers have been called in break you two apart. In fact, you two have both spent a few nights in jail because of it. That’s not how we do it here in the AWA. I will allow your match on March 23rd in the Calgary Saddledome to go off as planned with a few stipulations. 1. If either of the two of you lay a hand on the other before the match, you will be suspended from the AWA for life 2. To ensure the safety of the fans in the Saddledome, your match will be a Steel Cage Match. 3. To make sure that this is the end of the nonsense between the two of you, the loser will be out of AWA All-Star Wrestling Stomper and Bad News Allen simply look at Verne and neither seems upset. They both get what they want and that is the other inside of the ring in two weeks. Rod Trongard is hyping up this Loser Leaves Town Steel Cage Match throughout the show. OTHER MATCHES MATCH: The Turk defeats Ty Beaver with the Camel Clutch MATCH: Bruce Hart defeats Buck Zumhoefe with a backslide in a fast paced Light Heavyweight Battle. MATCH: Greg Gagne & Brad Rheingans defeated Marty Jannetty & Ricky Vaughn in a clean match where Gagne caught Vaughn with the Missile Drop Kick. Both youngsters looked good but the experience of Gagne and Rheingans caught up with them The St. Paul Civic Center: Chicago: March 14, 1984 Nikita Koloff vs Buck Zumhofe Bad News Allen vs Jules Strongbow AWA Light Heavyweight Title Match: Dynamite Kid vs Bruce Hart Jos Leduc vs Jim Neidhart Road Warriors & Ellering vs The Sheiks & Adnan Al Kassie Hulk Hogan vs Ok Baker AWA World Title Match: Jerry Lawler vs Curt Hennig
  7. UPDATED ALL-STAR TRADING BLOCK Hulk Hogan Road Warriors
  8. Great interview with the 4 families. I enjoyed the write up of the Piper/Zbyszko match. Very well done! Texas Red is going to be awesome! Hansen is a wild man and give him a cowbell and its lights out. I wonder what indefinite suspension means for his future
  9. Great set of show! The Omni card was great but I wonder if Tito and Orndorff will be looking for work after No Showing a major card! I am on the same page as everyone else in the fact that I love Hacksaw Reed! Really nice job here!
  10. I agree with you. Trying to figure out a better angle for him. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to PM me.
  11. The Rosemont Horizon: Chicago: March 7, 1984 1. Marty Jannetty defeats Jim Kent with the axe kick to the head 2. Mr. Wrestling II & Keiji Mutoh vs Jimmy Garvin & Eddie Gilbert with Precious ends with the heels taking the victory as Precious clocked Wrestling II with the loaded purse. Mutoh continued to amaze with his arsenal. 3. Wahoo McDaniel & Jules Strongbow defeat Ali Bey & Ciclon Negro after Wahoo went on the War Path and tomahawk chopped Bey into never never land. 4. Crusher defeats Ali Bey by beating him from pillar to post. 5. 6 Man Tag Match: Commonwealth Connection (Leduc, Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs The Hart Family (Bruce, Keith and Jim Neidhart): A lot of talent in the ring for this one with a nice combination of power and technical skill. In the end, the Harts came out on top as Neidhart caught Leduc in the scoop powerslam. 6. Rick Rude vs Rick Martel: With Heenan getting involved a little too often, Curt Hennig came down to protect his teammate. Heenan still tried to get up on the apron and interfere but was distracted by Hennig. Heenan rushed as he went to kick Martel below the belt as Rude held him but Martel escaped at the last second and Heenan hit his own man. Martel took advantage of the distraction and caught Rude in the Boston Crab for the win! 7. Bret Hart & Mongolian Stomper vs Randy Savage & Bad News Brown: The last time Brown and Stomper were in the same ring, it ended in an actual riot in the stands. Tonight, the match itself was basically fought in the stands as the action spilled out into the seats. Somehow, Savage was able to catch Stomper with the top rope elbow drop crashing all the way down to the floor. Stomper was never able to make it back into the ring and the heels sent the crowd home upset as they got the win.
  12. And AWA Pacific continues to role. Most of your feuds are heating up with Rose and Piper on a collusion course that will rock AWA Pacific to its core as we find out who is really in charge of the West coast.
  13. Love the set up Flair vs Brody as Brody gets a clean win over the champ! The Alabama Title seems to be a revolving door. Always makes for a memorable experience for the fan who saw the title change hands.
  14. Really fun show here. I enjoyed the debut of Yokozuna and at 625 pounds, he is going to be a force. You did well in the draft to get a few big names thatcan make an impact quickly and Yokozuna and Hall showed that tonight. Reed vs Sawyer will be WILD! Poffo vs Poffo... How long will that stay peaceful or could it be a set up. We will have to wait and see. Brad & Ole... two awesome guys who can do it all from wrestling to giving a great promo! Should be fun. Dibiase explains his new style and lets see if it can push him to the top! Looking forward to the OMNI
  15. Very smoothly done as your TV hypes up your big house show and then your house show hypes up your next TV show. Flair vs Superstar is hyped up on the TV and then we get the Bruiser run in at the house show and we are all hooked to spend our $$$ for Southeastern Championship Wrestling!
  16. All Star is sending Black Bart, Brain Blair and Dick Murdoch to World Class for Ox Baker and Nicolai Volkoff
  17. Wow is all I have to say! That was one action filled hour. Ric Flair has been champ for like a minute and he has Superstar Graham and Brusier Brody chasing him. Paul Jones seems to be on fire here in Southeastern Wrestling. Rip Rogers is also getting some serious heat. He is one of the guys that can get under your skin real quick as a fan and you have him down pat! Fullers vs Midnight Express is an awesome Semi-Main event!
  18. AWA BREAKING NEWS The National Wrestling Alliance has been in a state of flux since Ric Flair forfeited the NWA World Heavyweight Title and joined the surging American Wrestling Association as part of Southeastern Championship Wrestling. Today, another blow was struck to the NWA as Bob Geigel resigned as President of the Alliance and announced that he was merging his Central States Wrestling office with the Mid-South Wrestling office of "Cowboy" Bill Watts. Hours after that bombshell, another dropped, as Watts and Geigel finalized a deal to acquire the Dallas booking office of World Class Championship Wrestling from Fritz Von Erich. Those in the know say that Fritz had been growing frustrated at the AWA signing many of his regular talents to exclusive deals, and then the recent death of his son David in Japan is said to have driven all the wind out of his sails. However, him selling the company comes as a shock to many. Then "Cowboy" Bill Watts turned the wrestling world upside down when he held a press conference and withdrew from the National Wrestling Alliance, and announced the closure of Mid-South Wrestling! He then announced his new venture, AWA World Class Wrestling, a new promotion featuring all of your favorite stars from Dallas, Kansas City, and Mid-South, that would be airing every week in syndication all across the United States and be touring the great states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, and Missouri.

Great opening statement... you seem to have Bock down pat. Looking forward to see what Atlas can do against the champ Sheepherders/Guerreros is a nice contrast in styles that should be fun to watch Jaggers seems fed up with Street and it will be interesting to see how TNT officials and fans react to the violence of Jaggers I am enjoying the Jumbo-Robinson match up. Two huge names going at it and I have no idea who will come out on top. Ayala goes from Idol to Race... if he can survive... he is going to get some real credibility with the others in TNT. Great card in Nashville. Can Wildfire regain the belt in his home state... You have done an awesome transition here with so many new feuds getting started, TNT is going great.
  20. AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING: March 3, 1984: WGN TV: Milwaukee Auditorium From coast to coast, continent to continent and border to border, we welcome you to AWA All-Star Wrestling coming to you from the Sales Pavilion in Edmonton. I am Rod Trongard and joining me will be Gene Okerlund. STORYLINE #1: AWA NORTH AMERICAN TITLE We get video tape highlights from the Coral in Calgary of the 3 Way title match between Rick Rude, King Konga and Bret Hart where Bret was able to survive and walk out with his title. Match: Randy Savage destroys Brian Blair with the end coming with Top Rope Elbow Drop Savage continues his “savage” attack on Blair after the match and Blair is forced to leave on a stretcher. Randy Savage: Oh yeah! I told you last week that the longer Verne Gagne waits before granting me a title shot at the North American title the more bodies I will hurt. Look at Brian Blair… He is going to the hospital. If this is how Verne Gagne wants it… that is fine with me, but I am getting sick and tired of the nonsense. Oh yeah! I was talking in the back to someone else who is getting sick and tired of waiting! All of a sudden, Bad News Allen comes out! Bad News Allen: That’s right Savage. I was the North American Champion until Verne and Stu Hart met in some back room and made me out to be a scapegoat for their failures and they suspended me and stripped me of the title for no reason. So now I am back, and I just want to hurt people and let’s start with Stu Hart’s son, Bret Hart since they handed him my belt and that freak, the Mongolian Stomper who raised such a baby that daddy has to come to his aid! Randy Savage: Oh yeah… How about you two clowns meet us in a tag match in the Rosemont Horizon this week and we settle this like men! Later in the show, the odd pairing of Bret Hart and the Mongolian Stomper do an interview and accept the challenge. STORYLINE #2: THE YOUNG LIONS TOURNAMENT Trodgard reminds everyone that in the near future, AWA All-Star Wrestling will begin a round robin tournament for all wrestlers 25 years old and younger and the winner will be crowned the AWA Young Lion of the Year. Mr. Wrestling II, comes out with a new entrant into the tournament and announces him as Marty Jannety. Match: Marty Jannetty beats Sam Birch Mr. Wrestling II stays with Trongard for this match and gives us some background on Jannetty As for the match Jannetty is not as exciting as Mutoh was last week but he is full of energy and charisma and the fans take a liking to the youngster. The end comes with a very creative move as Jannetty follows up an arm twist and then steps over Birch and puts his leg on the back of his opponent’s head than then slams his head to the ground with the leg acting as a guillotine. Wrestling II calls it the Showstopper! Wrestling II hypes up Jannetty throughout the match but also reminds us about Mutoh who we saw last week and lets how know great the Young Lions Tournament is going to be. Trongard reminds II that he can’t count Eddie Gilbert out even though they don’t seem to be getting along right now. Mr. Wrestling II calls Gilbert a punk along with his Hot Stuff partner, Jimmy Garvin. We also found out that it will be Garvin and Gilbert along with that jezebel Precious against Mr. Wrestling II and Keiji Mutoh this week in the Rosemont Horizon. STORYLINE #3: THE AWA WORLD TITLE A quick interview with Verne Gagen where we hear a review of Jerry Lawler saying that Hulk Hogan missed his shot at a rematch and how he is going to wrestle more deserving opponents. Verne Gagne: Listen up Jerry Lawler… you might be the champ, but you do not decide who you wrestle. That is my job and on March 24 at the Saddledome, you will put that title on the line against none other than Hulk Hogan and if you don’t like it, leave the title in my office and go find another job Later, we get one of those Hulk-A-Mania interviews between Gene and Hogan and the excitement is already building for the second ESPN prime time show. STORYLINE #4: AWA WORLD TAG TEAMT TITLE MATCH: The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering destroy Hutch Thomas & Cal Munson with the Doomsday Device At the interview desk with Gene, we are informed that the Road Warriors will face the Sheiks for the AWA Tag Tiles on the ESPN Supershow. Instead of listening to Hawk and Animal scream into the microphone they simply begin with an evil smirk that grows into a laugh as they walk off set. Gene Okerlund: I don’t know about you, but the Road Warriors scare me and if I were Jerry Blackwell and Ken Patera, I would be preparing for the most brutal match of my life. MATCH: The Sheiks (Blackwell & Patera) with Adnan Al Kassie crush Tony Torres & Oakie Smith Blackwell and Patera destroy the jobbers in their squash match just like the Road Warriors did and Sheik Adnan seems to be just as confident that his team will come out of top of the ESPN Supershow as Ellering was earlier. Sheik Adnan Al Kassie: Hala Gene Okerlund. Assalum Alaikum. Insha Allah Masha Allah. Ahlan Marhaba Wa Sahla. I paid a lot of money for the best team in the world and these misfits called the Road Warriors have no chance against my Sheiks. STORYLINE #5: THE AWA LIGH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: We get a video tape from Denver where we see the heel turn by both Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid as they have sided with Jos Leduc and have joined the Commonwealth Connection. Prior to tonight’s title match between Dynamite Kid and Bruce Hart we hear from the Commonwealth who have set their sights on the Harts because they are angry with Stu for selling a Canadian company to the greedy Americans. MATCH: Dynamite Kid vs Bruce Hart We see both Leduc and Davey Boy Smith come to the ring with Kid and Trongard is real quick to notice the change in the champs fighting style. Dynamite is much more physical and is taking a lot of liberties with the rules. Davey Boy and Leduc also seem to interfere at every turn. When Bruce is somehow able to turn the tides, Smith and Leduc hit the ring and attack. While Kid is disqualified for this,Trongard points out how they might just have saved Kid’s title. The three on one attack is brutal but it only last’s a minute as Keith Hart, Bret Hart, Stu Hart and the newest member of the Hart family, Jim Neidhart, hit the ring. The Commonwealth saw the numbers go against them so they quickly hightailed it to the locker room. Stu Hart, the patriarch of the Hart family, takes control of the interview and declares that he is tired of people thinking they can attack his family just because they feel they have some gripe with the new AWA! He also announces that Neidhart is the newest family member as he has married his daughter and if anyone wants to take on the Hart’s, they better be ready for the Anvil. Okerlund thinks that Commonwealth seemed to want a piece of the Hart’s and Stu is quick to answer that by announcing this Thursday in the Rosemont Horizon it will be the Commonwealth Connection vs The Hart Foundation of Bruce, Keith and the Anvil! OTHER MATCHES MATCH: Ciclon Negro makes a successful return to the AWA as he defeats Bill Jordon with the Brainbuster MATCH: King Konga defeats Troy Graham (unmasked Dream Machine) with the Diving Headbut MATCH: Wahoo McDaniel & Jules Strongbow defeat Larry Cheatem & Verlon Biggs MATCH: Da Crusher defeats Ali Bey: We find out that Da Crusher will face Abdullah the Butcher this week in the Rosemont MATCH: Abdullah the Butcher with Sheik Adnan crushes Tom Birch with the end coming by Big Splash MATCH: Tom Zenk & Steven Regal wrestle to a 10 minute draw
  21. Nice set of house shows. These are all great cards that would sell some tickets and it also kept those on top who you want to stay hot as you continue to build your feuds!
  22. Interested to see where the Hart-Dibiase thing ends up. Dibiase can play the babyface but Gary Hart is a tough sell so I wonder if Dibiase could become the #1 Georgia heel down the road.
  23. As always, I love your writing style. That was like a suspense novel with the answer not coming to the last minute. Flair was great as a face in MAAC and will be great in anything he does! Wonderful set up to the tournament. I do wonder who will be the first to come after him and I can't wait to see it.

Powerful intro here for Kerry Brown. Looking forward to the Bockwinkle vs Atlas match to see if Atlas can reach the top of the pecking order here in TNT Street has been a thorn in the side of TNT... first Cocoa and now Jaggers. I wonder how many people he can prance over before finally getting his! Guerreros-Sheepherders... main event action anywhere in the country except maybe TNT as your roster is just so great! Valiant with Street? .... Interesting I could watch the different styles of The Fab Ones vs Sweetan and Schultz every day of the week. Perfect TNT feud! Stasiak was a great mouthpiece for Jumbo. I wonder if Jumbo can get evil enough here to rise in the rankings and get some serious heat. Can't wait to find out. Ratymus continues to be the insane wildcard that nobody knows what is coming next. One of my favorites in the game right now. Tully wins the title by being Tully... the low blow is just what I would have expected. Can Rich get his title back? We will see! Great show and TNT just keeps rolling
  25. Great show! I missed your style over the last few months. I loved the Ric Flair interview and I wonder if he will rethink his decision about Paul Jones or if Jones will search for revenge. JYD is here and he will go over big time! I hope he gets some friends with him cause there are some bad heels here in Alabama Rogers making fun if Rougeau's name was funny! That could turn into a nice midcard feud. Can't wait for the big show in Pensacola.
