11/10/1984: WTBS 9:05-10:05 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from Little Rock, Arkansas and the Barton Coliseum. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd.” The show starts by really hyping up the recent match between the Von Erichs and the Perfect Alliance for the USWA World Tag Belts where the VonErichs were able to get the victory by DQ when Baby Doll got involved. MATCH JYD (NORTH AMERICAN TITLE HOLDER) VS KILLER TIM BROOKS (Non-title Match) A nice opening bout that gets the crowd into it from the second “Another One Bites the Dust” begins to play over the speakers. JYD quickly tires of the dirty tactics of Killer Brooks and put him away with a THUMP (powerslam) which followed three straight Howling Head Butts. JYD went to the interview desk with his USWA North American Title and was congratulated by Jim Ross while Ernie Ladd asked him when he was going to step up in competition and give some real men like Hacksaw Reed or Ted Dibiase a title shot. JYD: First of all Ladd, nobody wants to hear your big mouth. Next thing, the Dog is a fightin champ and will wrastle anybody at any time. I have beating Reed and I have beating Dibiase…… All of a sudden the leader of the Rat Pack, Ted Dibiase, appears with his new enforcer, Loch Ness. Ted Dibiase: Wait a minute Junk Yard Dog. Or should I call you Stagger Lee. Just remember our last two loser leave town bouts. You LOST you loser! What makes you think that you could ever beat me? I deserve a title shot and you know it. JYD: Just look at how yellow bellied you truly are Dibiase. You can’t even come out here on your own. You got to bring Mountain Moron with you. Loch Ness begins to inch towards JYD but Dibiase tells him to stay cool. JYD: When the USWA names you the #1 contender, I will gladly beat on you some more. All of a sudden Hacksaw Reed and Skandar Akbar come out. Skandar Akbar: Wait a minute, there is no way the USWA would name Dibiase the #1 contender when we got the greatest wrestle in the world today standing right next to me. Genetically perfect with the ability to beat any man in a matter of minutes. And you Dibiase, think you are the #1 contender for the title? As it gets a bit heated here, Cowboy Bill Watts comes out with a message. Cowboy Bill Watts: I think the people are sick and tired of the Rat Pack! (The crowd cheers) and I think the people are sick and tired of Skandar Akbar and Devastation Inc. (The crowd cheer again) The USWA Board of Directors has decided that neither of you are currently the #1 contender to JYD’s title. Both men seem really confused and agitated. Cowboy Bill Watts: Let me explain. The Board has decided that right now, you two are both equally deserving of a title shot. Jim Ross: Does that mean JYD has to face both men? Cowboy Bill Watts: No, that seems like an impossible task. Instead, as we in the USWA understand, we must please our fans. They just seemed really excited at the idea of the Rat Pack and Devastation Inc. tearing each other apart so this week in St. Louis, Missouri and the Kiel Auditorium, Ted Dibiase and Hacksaw Reed will face each other and the winner will be named the number # contender to the North American Title and will face JYD at Thanksgiving Thunder in the Louisiana Superdome. Ross and Ladd hype this up as JYD just smirks and Dibiase and Reed eye each other cautiously. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MATCH: USWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE ICEMAN KING PARSONS VS DAN SPIVEY Once again, the crowd is brought to their feet with a little music as Iceman comes to the ring to “We are family.” As for the match, the young Spivey gives Iceman all he can handle. This big young rookie has some future and came within a clothesline of gaining his first title. Instead, Iceman ducked under the clothesline and came off the ropes with a huge Butt Bump and barely got the pin. Iceman really expresses his respect for Spivey at the interview desk and seems relieved to have won the match. This is when Playboy Gary Hart comes to the interview desk. Hart tells Iceman that Spivey is nothing and if you want to see a newcomer to the USWA in action with a bright future, stay here for just a minute. MATCH: SUPER STRONG MACHINE VS AL MADRIL As soon as the Super Strong Machine heads to the ring, Jim Ross begins to go crazy as he is yelling about how the last time this lunatic was in the USWA, he almost killed a man and that he was suspended indefinitely. Gary Hart: Jim Ross, you are correct. The last time he was here, he did nearly kill a man and he was suspended. Why, I do not know. Is it his fault that he is just that much better than ever other wrestle here? No, I think not and pleaded my case over and over and over again with the Board of Directors and finally them have come to their senses and reinstated my man. Ernie Ladd: Sounds fair to me. As for the match, it was just a barbaric beating. One huge power move after another. The end came after Super Strong Machine connect with a Bridging Underhook Suplex and finished it with a devastating Sit-Down Powerbomb. As Hart and the Machine celebrate in the ring, ref Pee Wee Anderson is frantically calling for a stretcher as Al Madril seems seriously injured. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MATCH: 6 Man Tag Match THE FABULOUS FREEBIRDS with Precious VS MIKE VON ERICH, SWEET BROWN SUGAR & MIKE GRAHAM The first thing we notice is that Precious is wearing a neck brace which Ross explains comes from a recent encounter with Madusa. Ernie Ladd seems disgusted by this as he doesn’t understand how a professional athlete like Madusa thinks it is ok to attack a person with absolutely no wrestling experience. Ross counters by asking Ladd how many times Precious has stuck her nose it where it doesn’t belong and hit someone with her loaded purse. Ladd seems confused and doesn’t recall any of this. He also wants to know how Jim Ross knows what is in a women’s purse and if Ross might be a little ya know, “funny.” This is also the first we have seen of Mike Graham sense his vicious parking lot beating from Kevin Sullivan. Ross hopes he is ok but Ladd thinks that is impossible as nobody is ever ok after dealing with Kevin Sullivan. As for the match it is a nice 8 minute showcase with a lot of back and forth action. The end comes when Hayes and Garvin double team Sweet Brown Sugar as Precious distracts the ref. While Precious is jumping up on the ring apron and pointing a menacing finger in the refs face, Ross wonders how a person with a neck brace could be jumping and gyrating like that. He beliefs it all to be a rouse. When the ref is done with Precious, she suddenly remembers her neck brace and climbs down to the ring floor ever so gingerly which prompts Ladd to tell Ross he is just so hateful and it is obvious she is hurt. With Sugar already in trouble, Garvin connects with a Brainbuster for the victory. Ross argues that this move should be illegal and Ladd counters with the thought that whenever a fan favorite uses a move like a piledriver or a brainbuster, you say how wonderful the wrestle is. Ernie Ladd: DOUBLE STANDARD ROSS? The Freebirds make a quick stop at the interview desk where they hype up the fact that they deserve another shot at the 6 Man Belts held by Terry Gordy, Manny Fernandez and Steve “Dr. Death” Williams. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MAIN EVENT: “MANIAC” MATT BORNE with Rat Pack Enforcer LOCH NESS VS CHRIS ADAMS In a wild main event, we see Adams seemingly in control after about 7 minutes. Somehow the two sandwich ref David Manning and with Manning down, Adams goes to check on him. Borne catches him from behind with an elbow and down goes Adams. All 6’11 and 685 pounds of Loch Ness climbs into the ring and with Borne holding Adams legs, Loch Ness climbs to the first rope. He just kind of falls off with what Ross called the biggest Super Splash in history. Adams is crushed and the loud crash must have woken Manning. With Loch Ness back on the floor, Borne covers Adams in the most arrogant of ways, by standing up and putting one foot on Adams chest. With the victory we hear Borne calling for Iceman and his World TV Title. Jim Ross: So long from Little Rock, Arkansas. The "Survivor" Series was a lot of fine. I wonder how Andre feels about the team being called the Hulkamaniacs. Funk is a show stopper. I know we had talked about him in the past and I was never on board as to just how big he could be. I was wrong. He is a show stopper!

11/10/1984: WTBS 9:05-10:05 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from Little Rock, Arkansas and the Barton Coliseum. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd.” The show starts with a video of the last few minutes of the USWA World Title match between Dusty Rhodes and Terry Funk from the Cajun Dome where we see the bout end in a Double Count-out as the two are just beating the heck out of each other. After the bell was sounded, it took about 10 officials and wrestlers to get the two separated. After the video, Terry Funk is at the interview desk carrying a branding iron where he says he is unsure which one would bring him more pleasure. Taking the World Title from the egg sucking Dusty Rhodes or permanently branding him with the tag of the Double Cross Ranch! He goes on to say that he might as well do both and for those of you who have never seen something branded before, stay tuned. You might just see it in a minute. Funk goes to the center of the ring and rams his branding iron into the center of the ring and we see a little smoke rise and Funk’s logo etched into the center of the ring. He places the branding iron outside the ring. MATCH: TERRY FUNK VS SAM HOUSTON Funk goes absolutely wild on the young Sam Houston and beats him like a dog. The finisher is when he nails not one but two Texas Piledrivers on Houston. After the pin, he goes out to get the branding iron. He begins to size up Houston and is trying to figure out the best place. He decides on the upper part of his leg but before he can finish the task, Dusty hits the ring and the two pick up right where they left off at. Again, it takes a herd of people to get them separated. Jim Ross seems really relieved that Funk couldn’t complete the job on Houston as Ladd seems like it would have been fun to watch ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- As we come out of break, we see Cowboy Bill Watts at the interview desk where Watts informs us that the USWA is going to be adding a Women’s Division. He goes on to say that the fans really seemed to enjoy the battle last week between Madusa and Baby Doll and that there are a lot a really great athletic women who have been asking for the USWA to get involved in Women’s wrestling. He goes on to say that the USWA is going to kick off the women’s Division tonight with a $5000 over the top rope Battle Royal which will include all the great women’s wrestlers in the country. Watts continues by explaining that this Battle Royal has some twists. First of all, it will stop when we reach the Final Four competitors. These 4 will wrestle in a tag team match at the Thanksgiving Thunder in the Superdome with teams being made by drawing names from a hat. The winners of this match will then wrestle each other in our USWA Year End Spectacular to be held in the Mid-South Coliseum. The winner of this match will get the $5000 and be crowned the first USWA Women’s Champion. MATCH: WOMEN’S BATTLE ROYAL LISTED IN ORDER THEY WERE ELIMINATED Princess Victoria Velvet McIntrye Debbie Combs Donna Day Wendi Richter Judy Martin Penny Mitchell Susan Star Joyce Grable Leilani Kai FINAL FOUR: TAG TEAMS TO BE CHOSEN NEXT WEEK ON TV Fabulous Moolah Madusa Micelli Baby Doll Wendy Richter ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MATCH: DEVASTATION INC. (The Iron Sheik & Black Blood with Skandar Akbar) VS AL MADRIL & BRIAN ADIAS To the fans dismay, this was all Devastation Inc. The end comes when Black Blood caught Al Madril in a swinging full nelson and almost broke him in half. After the match, Akbar is at the interview desk challenging the Fab Ones who he says have no chance at beating his team of near monsters. The crowd explodes as the Fab Ones come out and confront Akbar and his men. The Fab Ones look almost puny next to the humongous Black Blood but they don’t seem to be the least bit afraid. Both teams claim to be the better then the others but cooler heads prevail as Cowboy Watts comes out again and says enough is enough and this can be solved in the ring this week in St. Louis at the Keil Auditorium. Ladd and Ross really hype this one up but as usual, they can’t agree on who will win this huge battle. MATCH: TOMMY “WILDFIRE” RICH & HACKSAW DUGGAN VS TERRY TAYLOR & “KILLER” TIM BROOKS This is the first time that either of these teams are working together and it is an entertaining 8 minute bout with the fan favorites finally getting the victory as Rich caught Brooks with a cross body block and then tagged in Duggan who connected with a massive football tackle. Rich made sure Taylor couldn’t make the save as the fan favorites get their first win as a tag team. Rich & Duggan head over to the interview desk where they focus their attention on getting even with the Rat Pack but more specifically Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater. This is some interview as Rich and Duggan really know how to cut a promo. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MAIN EVENT: WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH THE VON ERICHS VS THE JAPANESE ASSASSINS (GREAT KABUKI & KENDO NAGASAKI with Gary Hart) A great back and forth Main Event that sees all the great moves of both teams from the flying dropkicks by Kevin Von Erich and the Tornado Punches by Kerry to the nerve holds, and thrust kicks by the Japanese Assassins. To the delight of the crowd, the VonErichs take control and Kerry uses the Iron Claw to weaken Kendo Nagasaki and then he tags in his brother who climbs to the top rope and is about to go for the Von Erich Death Splash . All of a sudden, the Perfect Alliance hit the ring and we see Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton all over the VonErichs as Baby Doll is dishing out orders. This beating soon turns on to a 4-1 as the Japanese Assassins join in. This is where the show comes to an end as the World Tag Team Champions are sprawled out on the floor. 11/3/1984: WTBS 9:05-10:05 NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from New Orleans, Louisiana and the Lake Front Arena. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd.” The show starts by really hyping up Halloween Howl, the recent card in Reunion Arena. We see a replay from yesterday’s show of one of those cool videos set to the music of the day. The video is a 5 minute video montage of all the highlights including The Von Erichs winning the World Tag Team Title, JYD regaining the North American Title from Dick Murdoch and Dusty Rhodes outlasting Hacksaw Butch Reed. Jim Ross takes us right to the ring for Ted Dibiase. Ernie Ladd hypes up Dibiase’s win over Hacksaw Duggan at Halloween Howl while Ross reminds him that he had help from “Dirty” Dick Slater and his loaded black glove. MATCH TED DIBIASE VS JOSE LOTHARIO Even though Lothario is pretty good, this was all Dibiase with the end coming by submission with the Figure Four. Dibiase heads over to the interview desk where it is obvious that he has turned his attention to the North American Title and the Junk Yard Dog. Ted Dibiase: It has only been a few weeks since I returned to the USWA but it is obvious nothing has changed. The ref’s continue to cheat the Rat Pack. That is obvious as that no talent JYD was able to recapture the North American Title from Dick Murdoch. This would be impossible without some help from the USWA officials and the referees. This has only made me want to beat JYD even more and if you remember, that is a really easy task for me. Twice in the last year and a half, I have beaten him in loser leave town matches but he somehow keeps coming back. Last year, I beat his yellow bellied thick skull and the next thing we know, this fool name Stagger Lee appears. I mean everybody knew it was that cheating dog but the Board of Directors did nothing about it. The stupid fans loved Stagger Lee and that is because these rednecks have no morals. They are ignorant. Then a few months ago, I beat him in another loser leave town match and here he is again. HOW? Jim Ross: What do you mean how? You asked for him to be reinstated so you could take on Gino Hernandez? Ted Dibiase: Nobody asked for your warped input Ross. Anyway, this time two things are going to happen. I am going to win the USWA North American Title and the second thing is, JYD will be gone from the USWA forever! ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- The segment starts with the Freebirds at the interview desk and they once again continue to say they are the rightful owners of the USWA World Six Man Title belts and that here is no way the Violence Committee could stop them. Jimmy Garvin and Precious take their turn on the mic and explain that if Madusa ever goes after Precious again, she will be in a world of trouble. Precious says she has more talent in her little pinky than Madusa has in her entire body and that Madusa is lucky she is not here tonight or she would prove it to her. All of a sudden Cowboy Bill Watts comes out. He says that he is sick and tired of the Freebirds saying that the USWA is a corrupt organization but tonight he hears them loud and clear. Michael Hayes: Finally, someone else sees we are the best 6 man team around and we are going to get our title shot. Cowboy Watts: Not quite Hayes. I heard Garvin and Precious. So tonight in our Main Event it will be Jimmy Garvin and Precious vs Dr. Death Steve Williams and Madusa Miceli. Precious and Garvin nearly jump out of their skin and start to really argue but Watts will hear nothing of it. Ross really seems to love this latest twist as Ladd says that he is sick and tired of Watts trying to bully the Freebirds. MATCH HACKSAW BUTCH REED with Skandar Akbar VS PVT. KERNODLE & CPL. KIRCHNER Complete destruction by Reed as he seems to be back on a roll of late after almost capturing the World Title at Halloween Howl. Here, he makes quick work of the Ft. Bragg Brotherhood as he follows up a Gorilla Press Slam with a Football Tackle for the pin on Cpl. Kirchner. Both Ross and Ladd hype up the fact that the Brotherhood are a really good tag team and Reed beat them easily by himself. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- The segment begins with Reed and Akbar at the interview desk where Ross congratulates Reed on tonight’s win. Reed seems confused. Hacksaw Reed: Congratulations? That was a waste of my time. If the USWA doesn’t start to challenge me with some competition, I am just going to start hurting people. I heard Ted Dibiase out here earlier saying he deserves with JYD. Who does this Johnny Come Lately think he is? Dibiase just arrived in the USWA and now he wants a title shot. Get in line! Whether it is Dusty Rhodes or JYD, all TITLE SHOTS RUN THROUGH ME. I have said it before and I will say it again, I am the man around here. All of a sudden Dibiase comes out and gets in the face of Reed and starts to say if he were the man around here, he would already have one of those belts. He wonders why the USWA would give him anymore title shots as he has had so many and failed. The duo are really having a heated discussion and Ladd just keeps agreeing with whatever person spoke last. Finally, they agree to go their own way. MATCH USWA WORLD TV TITLE ICEMAN KING PARSONS VS HACKSAW HIGGANS In a nice match that got the crowd really dancing in their seats, Iceman gets the victory over the powerful Higgans with the Butt Bump. When the match is over, Rat Pack member, Maniac Matt Borne comes out and wonders when Iceman is going to put the title on the line against some real competition. Iceman tells him to get out of his face but Borne continues. Iceman turns to walk away when out of nowhere he is blindsided by the largest man ever seen in the USWA. Borne just starts laughing and laughing. Matt Borne: The USWA will pay the Rat Pack the respect they deserve or suffer the consequences. Iceman turned his back on me and our brand new enforcer taught him what his mamma should have taught him a long time ago. Respect your Superiors. Oh, and by the way, the name of our newest enforcer is Loch Ness and I don’t think anyone else should cross the Rat Pack or else they will meet the same fate. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MAIN EVENT: STEVE “DR. DEATH” & MADUSA VS JIMMY “JAM” GARVIN & PRECIOUS The crowd is really excited for this one as they fully expect the Freebirds to get what is coming to them. As the bell sounds, all 4 competitors are still in the ring. Garvin and Precious begin to argue with each other as neither one seems very interested in starting the match. Finally, Precious just runs from the ring and by the rules of this inter-gender match, Garvin will face Dr. Death. Dr. Death is all over Garvin and just begins to pummel him. The crowd loves it but they really want to see Madusa get at Precious so they start to chant for Williams to tag in his partner which he does. As Madusa enters the ring, Precious looks like she has seen a ghost. She begins to tremble as she enters the ring. Madusa begins to come at her but Precious quickly runs from the ring. With Madusa in hot pursuit, Precious runs around her own corner. WHAM! With a perfectly timed flying elbow, Garvin has caught Madusa who is now down on the cement floor. Dr. Death rushes over after Garvin as Precious retrieves her loaded purse. WHAM! Again, Madusa takes a huge shot and seems to be in real trouble. Garvin is in a full out sprint towards the locker room with Williams closing quickly. The ref begins to count and somehow Madusa sneaks in at the count of 9. Madusa shakes off the cob webs as Precious is trying one more blow but it looks like she has never been in a fight before. This awkward “girly” punch does nothing to Madusa who know has a smile on her face. She catches Precious in a front headlock and changes it quickly into a nasty sling shot suplex and it is all she wrote. Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts rush to the ring but they are met by Terry Gordy and Manny Fernandez. These 4 begin to brawl all over the arena floor as Jim Ross really hypes up he feud between these two groups and says he can’t wait for their battle for the 6 Man Championship belts. Ladd seems disgusted by the actions of Madusa as he says she had no right to go after Precious as she is a valet and not a wrestler. Jim Ross: So long from New Orleans.” As the screen fades to black with see promotions for the major event this week in the Cajundome in Baton Rouge. Very well rounded card! Great Main event. There has been a lot of talk lately in this game about the mixing of stars into tag teams and the breaking up of tag teams into singles matches. It works great both ways. The more we see of the stars, the better the read. Terry Funk is such a promotion changer! Love the way you used him.

USWA would like Terry Funk for Dec 31

11/2/1984: WTBS 9:05-10:05 NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from New Orleans, Louisiana and the Lake Front Arena. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd.” The show starts by really hyping up Halloween Howl, the recent card in Reunion Arena. We see one of those cool videos set to the music of the day. The video is a 5 minute video montage of all the highlights including The VonErichs winning the World Tag Team Title, JYD regaining the North American Title from Dick Murdoch and Dusty Rhodes outlasting Hacksaw Butch Reed. When the tape ends we see Dusty Rhodes at the interview desk as the fans really explode. Rhodes hypes up Halloween Howl and then he begins talking about what a great time in wrestling it is and how it is great to see groups like the Rat Pack, the Freebirds, and Devastation Inc. without any of the prestigious belts in the USWA. All of a sudden there is a murmur from the crowd….. Jim Ross: oh my, what is this? TERRY FUNK IS WALKING TO THE INTERVIEW desk. Terry Funk: It doesn’t matter to me if I have to wrestle each and every member of the USWA. I am here for one reason and one reason only. To take that belt away from this fat slob next to me and give the USWA a champion they can be proud of Dusty Rhodes: Funk, I knew I smelled something dirty in the studio tonight. I have wrestled you all over this great country and there is no way, I would allow someone like you to be the Champion of this great company. Terry Funk: Let me be the champion? I did not say you were going to let me. You just can’t stop me! You say we wrestled all over this country. That is true but you left out the fact that I beat you all over this country. If you forgot what I am capable of in the ring, why don’t you stay out here and watch my match. It will only be a minute. MATCH: TERRY FUNK VS SCOTT McGHEE Funk goes to the ring with his cowboy hat and bull rope and doesn’t even wait for the bell before he attacks. In less than two minutes, Funk just beats McGhee senseless and gets the pin. That does little to stop Funk who now takes the Bull Rope and begins to tie McGhee to the ring post and then he continues the beating. McGhee is in a real bad way. Dusty Rhodes: I can’t take this anymore. If it’s the Dream he wants, it is the Dream he will get. Rhodes rushes to the ring as Ross lets the fans know that “Business is about to pick up.” Funks turns away from McGhee and meets Rhodes is the center of the ring. The two really go at it before the locker room empties and tries to separate these two stars. As we go to commercial break, Ross guarantees that we have not seen the last of these two. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- As we come out of break, we see Cowboy Bill Watts at the interview desk. Watts informs us that the next USWA wrestling spectacular will be held Thanksgiving week in New Orleans at the world famous Silverdome! Ross and Ladd are in the middle of hyping up this monster event when all of a sudden Baby Doll and the former World Tag Team champions, Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton come out to the desk. Baby Doll is furious and doesn’t mix words. She believes that Madusa Miceli cost her men the World Tag Team belts and that she isn’t going to stand for it. She wants two things. First, because of the interference of Madusa, her men deserve a title rematch tonight! Second, she asks the camera to close in on her and you can tell she means business. Baby Doll demands that Madusa get in the ring with here where she will rid the USWA of the trash that she is. Jim Ross lets us know that Madusa is not due in the arena until tomorrow so we cannot get her answer and also that the rematch between her team and the new World tag team champions, The VonErichs has already been signed for this week in Baton Rouge. The Perfect alliance seems satisfied with the answers and leave the set as Ross takes us to the ring. MATCH: THE FAB ONES VS THE RED SCARE (CUBAN ASSASSIN & IGOR VOLKOLFF) What a match of opposites. Never mind the speed of the Fab Ones vs the power of team evil, the reaction of the crowd towards these two teams is polarizing. The crowd loved the Fab Ones but they despise the Red Scare and the Commie flags they carry to the ring. As for the match, the Red Scare take the early advantage as they attack before the bell but once the Fab Ones regain control, it is all she wrote. They overcome their opponent’s power by finishing it off when Keirn caught Volkolff with a Russian Leg Sweep. Ross hypes of the tag division and reminds Ernie Ladd that the Fab Ones can’t be forgotten and that they are definitely a top contender for the World Championship. Ladd simply states that he believes that they are way overrated. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- When the break is over we see Mike VonErich at the interview desk. Jim Ross reminds us that this is the first time that Mike has been in the TV studio in quite some time due to the vicious attack by Mr. Texas who turned out to be none other than his cousin, Lance Von rich. Mike VonErich: That whole situation has made me sick. I mean family attacking family is wrong. I hope to put that all behind me and move on. I am really excited to be back in the ring tonight and hope to come out with a win. I promise to deal with Lance real soon. Ernie Ladd: You mean Mr. Texas. Jim Ross: Give us a break Ladd. Well good luck in your match which is coming up right now. MATCH: MIKE VONERICH VS JOHNNY MANTELL Mike seems to be picking up right where he left off and is on fire. The end comes after only a few minutes and it is by submission as Mike catches Mantell with the Iron Claw. Just as ref Pee Wee Anderson raises Mike’s hand the crowd gasps as Lance VonErich rushes to the ring and comes up from behind and smashes Mike with a steel chai right to the head. Lance simply drops the chair on Mike and walks out of the ring full of smiles as Jim Ross is outraged while Ernie Ladd says, “I told him before to call him Mr. Texas.” As we go to break we see the VonErich brothers out to help their younger brother back to the locker room. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- As we come out of break we see a video of the devious attack by Dirty Dick Slater on Hacksaw Duggan during the Gauntlet Match at Halloween Howl. Slater whipped Duggan into the corner and rushed in. WHAM! Somehow Duggan mustered the energy to explode out of the corner on one leg and catch Slater in a nasty football tackle for the three count. Ted Dibiase slowly makes his way to the ring as Marc Lowrance announces one minute to match time. With about 20 seconds to go, Dibiase has jumped up on the apron and is pointing at Duggan. Duggan starts to rush at him but Dibiase jumps down. WHAM….. Slater has recovered enough to connect with a belly to back suplex just before the bell sounds. Ref David Manning admonishes Slater but there is little he can do. The match between Dibiase and Duggan had not yet started so technically he did nothing wrong Jim Ross explains that it was this attack that has led to our great Main event tonight. MATCH: MAIN EVENT HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN VS DICK SLATER This was a brawl from the opening bell. Slater tries every trick he knows but Duggan seems hell bent on revenge and stays one step ahead of Slater the entire time. The action spills out on to the floor with TV time running out. All of a sudden, Captain Redneck, Dick Murdoch rushes out and the 2-1 beat down begins. Once again Jim Ross expresses his anger while Ladd says that Duggan is getting what he deserves. Jim Ross seems feed up with Ladd and hopes that the rest of the Rat Pack is not going to be next. The crowd explodes as it is not Dibiase who rushes out next. It is none other than Wildfire Tommy Rich. Rich still in jeans and a t shirt is throwing wild haymakers and has the Rat Pack on the run. Matt Borne hits the arena floor but this is Rich at his best. He quickly catches Borne with a few big blows. Duggan is up and quickly retrieves his trusty 2 X 4. The Rat Pack gather their wits and decide to head for the hills. Duggan and Rich embrace as the crowd goes wild. Ladd is furious that Rich has stuck his nose in where it doesn’t belong but Ross is excited that the Rat Pack seems to have gotten what they deserve. He is just disappointed that Dibiase did come out and get hit by that piece of lumber. At least for tonight, anyway. Jim Ross: So long from New Orleans, Louisiana.” As the screen fades to black with see promotions for the major event this week in the Cajundome in Baton Rouge.

I agree. 24-Karat...aka the New Four Horsemen are going to be fun. Looking forward to see who steps up as the next major threat to Flair.... will it continue to be Backlund or is it TA's turn. Maybe Superstar or Windham. 24 Karat will have their work cut out for them if they are going to keep the World title and the TV title.
