-In big news, the USWA has struck a deal with the CWA and the Mid-South Coliseum to run its Labor Day Spectacular there. This is the also the first time that the USWA will return to Memphis since Memphis left the USWA a few months back. It will be interesting to see how they are accepted in what used to be their home base.
-Also expect major changes in the USWA roster over the next few weeks as major contracts in both the Mid-South and World Class Championship Wrestling come to an end. The organization will have to make decisions on such names as Rocky Johnson, The Sheepherders, Buzz Sawyer, Wahoo McDaniel, and Billy Jack Haynes. The rise of The Perfect Alliance (Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton) may make many of them expendable but we will just have to wait and see.
-The face of World Class Championship Wrestling has changed with the return of Skandar Akbar. He can bring the heat like no other and it will be interesting to see how much of a push Fritz is willing to give his men, The Iron Sheik and The Muslim Connection.
-The USWA and Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling are still trying to work out the wrestler to be named later in that bizarre deal that included television time slots on WTBS. We will just have to wait and see who appears in Mid-South!
-USWA is said to be very excited over the ticket sales for their show in Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Missouri.
