Pro Wrestling Punditry on Wrestling With Words
Eegah replied to Loss's topic in Publications and Podcasts
It was a great read, you gave detailed answers that were interesting. Good job! -
Great show guys, card was enjoyable outside of the Sharpe/SD match. Finish would have been better if Sharpe would have just gone with the flow and kept his feet on the ropes. Main Event was a lot of fun. On the midget talk, they would never offer hour long time slots, itd have to be half off.

A great couple of shows for Evolve. I thought Evolve 56 was a better card than Evolve 57 because of the extended Caleb Konley/Timothy Thatcher match and the short Fred Yehi vs Ethan Page match. Obviously they went long on the championship match with Drew Galloway running late but youd figure they would know that from the beginning. My weekend rankings, which are out of my element as a non usual star guy. Chris Hero vs Matt Riddle 03.20.16 ****1/2 Chris Hero vs "Hot Sauce" Trent Williams ****1/4 Zack Sabre Jr vs Drew Gulak 03.20.16 ****1/4 Fred Yehi vs Drew Gulak 03.19.16 **** Zack Sabre Jr vs Johnny Gargano **** Sami Callahan vs "Hot Sauce" Trent Williams *** 1/4

Absolutely tremendous stuff fellas. Thank you so much for the thoughts and commitment to bringing the analysis. I wont go into semantics to avoid spoilers but i enjoyed both lists very much. A smattering between the two will make up a lot of my list although there are several guys on neither list will make mine. Keep up the good work.

Titans of Wrestling #26: The Kallies 1980 Award Show
Eegah replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in Publications and Podcasts
I enjoy all the ancillary shows as well but Titans will always be my favorite. The camaraderie and ball busting makes it more enjoyable.- 41 replies

Another great show. Dylan uncomfortably trying to describe Special K was great -

A national treasure. If he appears on Titans it will be an un-toppable moment and I will mark out.

He really did pack in a bunch of great stuff in a lot of limited time match wise while in WCW. Always entertaining.

Am I on an island in voting Eddie higher than Rey? To echo Grimmas' thoughts, he was such a complete pro wrestler. Obviously Rey is great as well, I value Eddie's ability to work heel and face at a high level. Obviously the argument for Rey there is there is no reason for a guy with his size and skillset to be a heel but I think Eddie could do every facet of professional wrestling at such a high level that he narrowly edges out Rey.

Mitch Ryder is definitely an oversight. His run in the mid 00s made him one of my favorites at that time. Such an entertaining performer.

Another great show fellas. Love the episode artwork with my main man Kawada on top of the world.

Really enjoying following along with this, thanks for the thoughts Pete.

"No Class" is an all time nickname.

What a post, Elliot. You are one of the most thoughtful and provoking figures on the board. Keep up the good work. Side note: Satanico rules, he better be on your list people!

Lucha Undead Reborn: 16 Punk-Cast with Dylan Hales
Eegah replied to Luchaundead's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Enjoyed the discussion, as a Libertarian it was interesting to hear the various takes. Good job. Edited when I came back and saw I put Lobertarian. Haha -
He was still getting his legs at the time on the out of ring stuff, hard to deny the in ring character work to offset it a bit, what do you think?

Liger is the best junior heavyweight ever, he is supremely talented and obviously cared, a good case in point points to the latest Between the Sheets where the boys talk of him being infuriated that a house show match went badly. That kind of dedication seperates the great from the good.

This one made me really sad. The guy fought hard to walk again and did it, a true spirit. Seemed like a positive guy. Always enjoyed watching him and definitely in the 90s tape trading world he was a god. Rest in Peace.

That Goldust match is great from opening segment to end. A nice, fun sprint.

I sure hope Harley makes the list. I know he has his detractors and obviously some of the points against him are valid. He will be on my list, we shall see how the final tallies end up.
