  1. I'll echo everyone's sentiment; Bret vs Savage inside a cage will be absolutely epic. You've got an amazing cast in your main event & upper midcard picture that you can pretty much switch around and you'll sell out buildings in no time. Bad News might be Hogan's biggest threat so far. A man who has no regard for the rules is always the most dangerous man around.
  2. Everything's moving along smoothly on your part. You got such a hot feud with the Von Erichs and the Freebirds that you don't need them in the big title picture. That allows you to take guys like Magnum TA, Barry Windham and JYD and to groom them for that big run.
  3. Alicia Fox was absolutely horrible in that match. What does she have against Vince to remain employed?
  4. Yeah, at least, he did it like all heels should win. But if this means we get Drew McIntyre to win MITB, I can live with that.
  5. People losing their minds on Twitter about the Robert Roode change while they all forgot that was his name in TNA in 2005.
  6. Knowing our luck, it's gonna be Baron Corbin just to piss us off.
  7. I'm so ready for the Patriot Chiefs.
  8. I don't recall the Islanders in the NHL having their panties in a bunch over Haku & Tama having the same name their team had. Why would the Vikings & Raiders do as well? How many NCAA schools share the same nicknames for their sport teams?
  9. In Joe's case, that's not surprising, considering Finn's now on Smackdown. In Cesaro's case though, I'm a bit more surprised but the opportunity for a good singles run is now here for him.
  10. Solid loop all around with Johnny Rich getting some nice exposure by working with Ric Flair through the entire loop! And I do not envy the Midnight Express with that eventual title match against Mr. Pogo & Kendo Nagasaki.
  11. Well I remember that Punk did say in an interview post-WWE departure that if he'd ever return to wrestling, he'd do something like this where no one would ever realize it'd be him so I wouldn't even be remotely surprised if it turns out he did do that at that event. But I'll remain in the skeptical camp and the "Punk hates wrestling too much now to ever return to it ever again" camp.

Dusty celebrated with White & Weaver as he handed them the Atlantic Coast Tag Team Championship belts.
  14. Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling TV #6 Recap April 20th, 1984 -Most of the show was dedicated to the April 14th AWA Atlantic Coast Heavyweight Championship 2 out of 3 Falls Match between Jack Brisco and Paul Orndorff, in which Brisco (subbing for Valentine) captured the title by beating Paul Orndorff in 2 straight falls. The match was shown in its entirety. -Cameras showed Paul Orndorff arriving to the Sportatorium. Tony Schiavone catches up with him at the entrance to get his first words after his loss to Brisco. Orndorff says he won't make any excuses for losing that match to Jack Brisco. Orndorff might've been prepared for Greg Valentine but he should've been more prepared for Jack Brisco. Orndorff vows to soon get his hands on the Atlantic Coast Heavyweight title, no matter who holds the title. -There was also a phone interview between Bob Caudle and Greg Valentine. Valentine claims that he was indeed called back home for a family emergency regarding his father but when he came home, he was told that there never was any family emergency. Valentine believes he was set up by Eddie Graham and ACCW management for what he did to Mike Graham a few days prior and he vows to make Eddie Graham pay for costing him what should be HIS Atlantic Coast Heavyweight Championship. -Eddie Graham came out to join Bob Caudle at commentary. First, he denies having anything to do with Greg Valentine's claims and doesn't know who's behind it. Second, he announces a Gauntlet Match to crown the first AWA Atlantic Coast Tag Team Champions tomorrow night in Miami. 6 teams will compete and the one who'll run through the entire Gauntlet will earn the right to be the first AWA Atlantic Coast Tag Team Champions. Eddie Graham also announces that soon, he'll unveil details about the Contender's Crown, who'll give a powerful advantage to whoever will earn it. -In another match at the Sportatorium, The House of Humperdink (Purple Haze, Kabuki & Konga, w/Kevin Sullivan, Fallen Angel & Sir Oliver Humperdink) destroyed the jobber team of Jeb Park, Derby Hopkins & Niles Coombs **** April 20th, 1984 Fort Homer W. Hestorly Armory, Tampa, FL -Boomer Lynch beat John Bonello in 12:38 Guest Referee - Eddie Graham: Roddy Piper beat Angelo Mosca in 35:56 -AWA Florida Heavyweight Champion Bill White & Johnny Weaver beat Vinnie Valentino & Rocky "The Best Kernodle" in 14:43 when Weaver made Valentino tap out to the Weaver Lock -Don Kernodle beat Bulldog Bob Brown in 10:26 -Don Kent & AWA Atlantic Coast TV Champion Killer Tim Brooks upset The House of Humperdink (Purple Haze & The Great Kabuki, w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) in 19:11 when Kent beat Kabuki with a small package! -Konga the Barbarian (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) beat Bob Dellaserra in 16:19 AWA Atlantic Coast Heavyweight Championship: The Cuban Assassin beat Jack Brisco in 11:40 to win the title after Greg Valentine, dressed as a police officer, knocked out Jack Brisco with a nightstick and placed The Cuban Assassin over Brisco to score the pinfall. Valentine took the mic and sent a message to Eddie Graham in the back that if he couldn't get the title, then no one from Atlantic Coast would get the Atlantic Coast Heavyweight Championship. Valentine and the Assassin left through a stunned crowd. -Eddie Graham comes out but too late as Valentine had already left the building. But just to make sure he doesn't act up again, Graham orders the main event between Dusty Rhodes and Kevin Sullivan to be a Lumberjack Match with the whole roster surrounding the ring. Lumberjack Match: Kevin Sullivan beat Dusty Rhodes in 56:48 after Fallen Angel used the chaos at ringside with all lumberjacks brawling with each other to pitch him the golden spike and Sullivan nailed Dusty with it to secure the win.
  15. He wasn't in the Andre Battle Royal.

    NXT talk

Maybe they can still team up on occasion. I mean, there seems to be a lot of crossover between 205 Live, NXT & NXT UK so it's not impossible for them to eventually team up but yeah, I would assume that Danny Burch would also be NXT UK-bound. I'm not really worried about Lorcan right now. In fact, I'd be more worried if he was on RAW or SD Live. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lorcan being one of Tony Nese's first challengers relatively soon.
  17. The battle of the Hacksaws sure didn't disappoint! And when you add the combustible elements like the Armstrongs, Andersons and company, you got a recipe for success as well!
  18. Good question. I actually liked Pete Rosenberg. Much better than Sam Roberts. I honestly don't know why they keep that guy around.
  19. I echo Kev's sentiment; some really huge matches but you leave room for continuity and everyone can still have some momentum down the road, no matter the result. This Kabuki/Kamala thing will get nasty in a hurry!

    USWA

Great main event between Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. Should be a classic between Funk and Harley. You always have a knack for finding the best names for tag teams! Gonna keep my eye on the Real Deal!
  21. Meltzer says it's false. For what it's worth, he says there are still multiple bidders for AEW.
  22. Taking your ball and go home when you're not happy isn't "speaking up".
  23. I could see it working, especially now that she's become more over as a babyface. I can see people being more sympathetic to her now if Charlotte attacks her, compared to a year ago when everyone wanted her to be ripped apart because of how annoyed they were with the Ellsworth pairing.
  24. Well, yeah, there's a proper way to express your disagreement. See how Dean Ambrose handled his unhappiness creatively. He got fed up, quietly told WWE he's not re-signing, fulfilled his commitments and he's about to ride in the sunset, doing whatever he'll wanna do next. I don't wanna hear about someone doing the bacon on a floor or sending cryptic tweets drawing attention about poor Sasha not getting what she wants. I'll say it a million times again; it's OK for Sasha to be mad at what she's been given creatively. At some point, pretty much everyone will in WWE. But settle this reasonably and in a professional way.
