  1. NWA Lutte Internationale TV Taped at CHLT-TV Studios, Sherbrooke, QC Broadcasted on May 25th, 1985 Again, due to time constraints, this will be written in a recap form. I will assuredly return to the usual format for next week. -To open this week's show, Bolshevik Revolution member Boris Zhukov took on Denis Goulet in the opener and Goulet was no match for the communist as Zhukov defeated him in less than 4 minutes. After the match, Zhukov & the rest of the Bolshevik Revolution joined the broadcast booth. Alexis Smirnoff said that they weren't impressed by this sudden Quebecer alliance and they will all be crushed, one-by-one. Smirnoff says he might be perceived as a traitor and a turncoat; he sees himself as a revolutionary and a winner. Smirnoff vows to bring down L'Alliance Québécoise. -In the 2nd match of the night, Gino Brito defended the NWA Canadian International TV Championship against Armand Rougeau. A well-contested match performed with respect towards the sport and the adversary. Armand Rougeau gave all it could but the experience of Brito proved to be too much for the younger Rougeau as Brito retains his championship in around 10 minutes. Postmatch, Brito & Armand shook hands. -After seeing some highlights of his loss to Continental Heavyweight Champion Austin Idol in the finals of the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup, Rick Martel returns to action as he takes on Dominic DeNucci. Martel is back on his game and dispatches of DeNucci rather quickly picking up the win in around 3 minutes. After the match, Rick Martel is interviewed by Édouard Carpentier. Martel says that people have been wondering what the future is for him and he says that he's not going anywhere. Martel is still NWA Canadian International Tag Team Champion with Gino Brito and he intends on staying champ for a while as well. But he also says that people have inevitably asking if he would challenge Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Martel says that he wants it as well and he hopes to win the title very soon. He's excited about the upcoming Great American Bash tour and he says he'll petition to Jim Crockett and the NWA to get a title match on July 7 at Jarry Park. -In the main event, Mad Dog Lefebvre went one-on-one with Bob Backlund. Another evenly contested match and Lefebvre has thrown out his dirty tactics out of the window and is fighting an honourable match with Backlund. However, the Bolshevik Revolution shows up and that seems to throw off Lefebvre a bit. Luckily for him, Lefebvre bounces back and is able to pull a huge win over Backlund in about 15 minutes. After the match, the Bolshevik Revolution circles the ring but Armand Rougeau & Richard Charland even the playing field and the Bolshevik Revolution retreats. The show ends with the two alliances staring down at each other, waving the Soviet & Quebec flag at each other. À LA SEMAINE PROCHAINE SI DIEU LE VEUT
  2. Sika & Gary Hart make such a dangerous pairing. Looking forward to see where it goes.
  3. BREAKING NEWS: In preparation for the Great American Bash tour, NWA Lutte Internationale will present 3 events in the United States to launch the Great American Bash Tour. Aptly named the Pre-Bash tour, the first stop will be in Charlotte, NC at the Charlotte Coliseum. The card will be announced shortly but a MASSIVE main event is in the works, along with several title defenses! Stay tuned!

I can't be the only one who was really hoping Breezango would win the tag titles from The Usos tonight. I hope they get another shot soon but with The New Day returning, I honestly doubt this will happen, unfortunately.
  12. Although some people complained about the name because of whatever Mae did in the past during her active in-ring career.
  13. I was kinda expecting to see Kimura have a longer reign but in hindsight, given how Iceman is over in that area, it's a smart decision in the end. Will elevate the TV title further in the card.
  14. Absolutely agreed. Great series of cards!
  15. Great card in Portland. I wouldn't even have been surprised if Buddy Rose had the main event slot against Curt Hennig but the co-main slot is also well deserved!
  16. Tenryu vs Hansen must've been awesome to watch, I'm sure of it! Lawler/Jumbo vs North-South Connection should be really fun!
  17. You're good to go.
  18. You're all set!
  19. So am I! Iceman vs Kimura should be really fun!
  20. Oh yeah, massive win for Shane Douglas here. The eyes are now on him in Continental as well.

  23. NWA Lutte Internationale TV Taped at CHLT-TV Studios, Sherbrooke, QC Broadcasted May 18th, 1985 Once again, due to time constraints, this will be written in form of a recap. Should be able to return to the full detailed show next week. -This week's show kicks off with Sheik Ali (w/Eddy "The Brain" Creatchman) defeating Armand Rougeau in around 5 minutes. After the match, The Brain & Sheik Ali go to the broadcast booth. While The Brain is happy with the Sheik winning this week, he says he's running out of patience with his Family as he's longing to see them with some gold around his waist. Creatchman says that he's been keeping in touch with the NWA's new representative and he's been assured that his protégés will be granted title shots until the end of the month. Creatchman says that if they don't pull through for him, he won't hesitate to fire any of them failing as he's already planning on revamping his Family and bringing some monsters who will get the job done. When Édouard Carpentier asks The Brain if this also applies to The Great Samu & Prince Alofa Fatu, The Brain answers that those are his crown jewels and he's got complete faith in them. Whatever happens, Samu & Fatu have proven their worth to the Creatchman Family and they're not going anywhere. Sheik Ali doesn't seem too happy about it! -Then, clips of the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup Tournament finals between Rick Martel and the eventual winner, the new Continental Heavyweight Champion Austin Idol is shown. After the match, the broadcast team announces that Rick Martel will make his first TV appearance on next week's show as he'll be in action. Martel is also scheduled to address what awaits him in the future in NWA Lutte Internationale. We're also told that per the NWA Board of Directors, the Alexis Smirnoff vs Raymond Rougeau main event for this week will be contested....inside a STEEL CAGE! The NWA special enforcer wants to make sure that no one from the Bolshevik Revolution or from L'Alliance Québécoise shows up to interrupt the match! -Prince Alofa Fatu (w/Eddy "The Brain" Creatchman) defeated Luke Williams (w/Butch Miller) in around 10 minutes. All hell broke loose at ringside towards the end as The Brain was struck by Butch Miller after he tried to interfere but The Great Samu also got involved and attacked Miller. That allowed Fatu to use Creatchman's cane on Williams before hitting his Samoan Splash for the upset victory. -In the main event, the Steel Cage Match between Alexis Smirnoff and NWA World Tag Team Champion Raymond Rougeau ended up being a no-contest as despite the presence of the cage, Boris Zhukov & Baron Von Raschke got involved anyway by knocking out senior referee Adrien Desbois and stealing the key. The Bolsheviks pummeled Raymond in the cage and little brother Armand tried getting involved, being the only Quebecer on hand to help Raymond. Finally, the crowd explodes as BRUNO SAMMARTINO makes a bee hive for the cage to stop the Bolshevik Revolution! As officials & crew check on Raymond and dismantle the cage, Bruno goes to the broadcast booth and tells Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier that he is the special enforcer appointed by the NWA! Sammartino's first act as NWA enforcer in Montreal will be to book a rematch between Alexis Smirnoff and Raymond Rougeau at CNE Coliseum in Toronto on June 14th...and everyone will be banned from ringside! À LA SEMAINE PROCHAINE SI DIEU LE VEUT!
  24. I honestly hope not. Really rooting for Bullet Bob against the Andersons & Dick Slater!
