I get that he's a heel and he's supposed to be full of himself, but at least acknowledging that he comes off as a goober would do wonders. Can't wait for Drew to ditch his bum ass. Are you guys hyped for BoD vs DX? It can be a good nostalgia trip, but if anything, it makes me value the current tag teams more. The Usos and New Day are two of the Top 3 and the Bar is at least top 10. DX and BoD ain't it. As for the LHP, I'm actually happy they got a chance to shine. I want some Metallik singles action or at least a nice trios spotfest down the road. They can be a good act to get people going.

Hey, if Big Damo got a singlet (which actually improved his look), there might be hope for Ohno. I think his role as this sort of "coach" in NXT is much more of an issue than his physical appearance.

Last day of Round 1! Let's see how it goes: Match #13 - Rachael Evers vs Hiroyo Matsumoto: This was actually really good! Felt really different from pretty much all the previous matches, with all those tests of strenght, strike exchanges, and even some """fighting spirit""" spots. Hiroyo is great, and it is a shame that the crowd was so much into Rachael that she didn't get much love. Match #14 - Taynara Conti vs Jessie Elaban: Dana Brooke! Yay! Jessie's gimmick could actually get her a long life in WWE. Comedy wrestling is great. Taynara is leagues above the other Brazilian guys in NXT it's not even funny, just the way she works the arm/hand with malice and can play the bully role despite being short is something that indicates she can grow to be great. Sadly short, but it was a good 1st impression I got from Jessie. Match #15 - Nicole Matthews vs Isla Dawn: Nice entrance by Isla, felt Brood-esque. The match itself is nothing really impressive, as it is basically a squash, with Matthews beating Isla like no tomorrow. Great Liontamer, tho. Match #16 - Io Shirai vs Xia Brookside: Io Shirai brutalizes a teenager with a sincere smile on her face. Fucking grotesque moonsault, my goodness.

Aksana's death knee legit feels more mean spirited, to me. There was no distraction, timing issues, NOTHING that could justify such dumb move. Besides, I don't think anyone counters a sunset flip like that, why do it in such a ridiculous way?

Becky went 7-0 to get her title shot and Charlotte was pretty much shoehorned into the match after winning once, Becky had the right to be pissed.

Fucking LOL at them playing a video of Becky assaulting and humiliating Charlotte backstage and the crowd chanting in her favor. Just like it should be.

Based on all accounts, Brie is extraordinarily nice, and truth be told she was doing quite well in the feud against Miz and Maryse. At least she wasn't knocking people out cold. But yeah, like FMKK said, Liv stayed in the ring and was part of that 6 woman suplex spot shortfly after getting kicked twice in the head. Sources say she insisted on doing the spot which is even more insane. I stan a straight shooter. Ruby and Logan were visibly distraught during the match and it was kind hard to watch at points. I hope Liv has a healthy and fast recovery, and Brie can still have a place in wrestling (mostly as manager or with the role she had on SD, which is safer). Still wasn't as absurd as Aksana nearly blinding Naomi, as crazy as it might seem.
