    The aging of wrestling fans

Sometimes playing the race card works, sometimes it doesn't. Bruno Sammartino worked very well in the WWWF among italians in New York in the seventies. I've heard back in 2017 that Jinder Mahal didn't draw more indians and that the WWE was disappointed.

The Greatest Wrestler Ever Project: Postscript

The Big Boss Man was quite popular in 2016. Knowing the members of the board, I expect him to drop out next time because of his gimmick.

WWE TV 02/15 - 02/21 Break the Capitol's walls down

Let me give you a piece of advice C.S. Don't you know Vince McMahon is a friend of Trump ? You should then stop watching WWE and thus far stop commenting about the company on the board. It would be great.

WWE TV 02/15 - 02/21 Break the Capitol's walls down

I'm going to ask a dumb question but I'm curious. Usually, after how many days(weeks or months) of pregnancy, a female wrestler stops wrestling ? I mean after how many days is it dangerous for the baby or the woman ?

Need to get ahold of a Mod or administrator

I don't like the comments I'm reading. Who cares if a wrestler is a killer, a rapist or doesn't share the same political values as you. It shouldn't be a thing that matters when you're watching wrestling shows or matches. The same should apply to movies and sports. Hell, watching a Chris Benoit's match doesn't bother me. I also don't mind watching Kevin Nash and Mick Foley although I hate their tweets.

    WM37, WM38, and WM39 dates/locations confirmed by WWE

Wrestling is not what it used to be with an empty arena. I hope there will be big crowds by this summer. Remember covid-19 is not the cause of all this shit, it's the lockdown and social distancing.
  7. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI) - Professional Mexican-American wrestler Alberto Del Rio is behind bars after a woman came forward with photographs alleging he brutally beat and sexually assaulted her. An affidavit for Del Rio, whose real name is Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, 42, gave graphic detail of the incident. According to court documents, the woman told investigators Rodriguez Chucuan assaulted her on more than one occasion. The most recent incident took place on May 3, when Rodriguez Chucuan accused the victim of being unfaithful, investigators said. She claimed he became angry when she wouldn't admit to the infidelity, so he slapped her across the head, slapped her again, then took her to his downstairs bedroom and slapped her eight more times, according to arrest paperwork. The victim alleged he then made her put on a dress and dance for him, but she refused, prompting him to warn her not to cry or he'd take her son and "drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere." Police said Rodriguez Chucuan then tied the woman's hands with boxing straps, put a sock in her mouth and sexually assaulted her for several hours, using various objects. According to investigators, he also punched her in the back during the assault, causing visible injuries. The victim told detectives she does not remember much after he placed his hand around her throat. Rodriguez Chucuan, a San Antonio resident, is charged with Sexual Assault, a 2nd degree felony. His bond was set at $50,000. According to his Wikipedia page, Alberto Del Rio was the first Mexico-born world champion in WWE history. He left the WWE in 2014 and continued to wrestle under the name Alberto El Patrón in promotions such as Ring of Honor. He became a naturalized citizen of the United States during a ceremony in San Antonio on May 24, 2018. "We all have different stories of how we got here to the United States of America," he said to the crowd that day. "In my particular case, I had to literally fight, literally wrestle to get here to this amazing country." https://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/man-allegedly-sexually-assaults-partner-tells-her-hell-drop-son-in-middle-of-the-road Awful story.
  8. You're only against talking about politics in PWO when people disagree with your views. If everybody agrees with your agenda (I'm not going to explain in detail what your agenda is but I guess you have an idea of what I'm thinking), you're ok if it's not pwo and we talk about non wrestling related topics such as sexuality and politics. If you read opinions that you don't like, suddenly it becomes PWO. Either we all can tell what we believe or nobody can't.
  9. I'm trying to offer a solution. I'm just as much against sexual harrassment as all of you are.
  10. Why was my post deleted ? Did I say something that doesn't please the mods and admins of this board ? Edit : I guess we're trying to cancel me. My opinion is that we should teach to male and female wrestlers not to flirt or to have sexe before their wedding or outside of wedding. If people in America and around the world only tried to have sex with their husband or wife, such scandal wouldn't occur.

    Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

Yeah, and in France you get money while not working and you are heavily taxed. I bet you like Mélenchon.
  13. Entertaining beginning with Akiyama going after his opponent. After a powerbomb from Vader, Akiyama kicks out at two and applies a cross arm breaker, which is great fighting spirit. Vader sells well. Great match but I still prefer the may 99 match between Vader and Misawa and the february 2000 one between Vader and Kobashi. Vader can still have great matches in 2000.
  14. Seems fair. Anyway, not a smart move from Gunner.

    Hana Kimura passes away

Yeah, sad news. At 28 minutes, the scene behind her harassment.
  17. Really good match. It grabs me. I like the fact that it''s a match between the young ones and the old guard. I like the doubleteaming of No Fear. They play dirty but in my mind it doesn't diminish their victory.

Martha sounds like a nice person but how can you say she's the best of the Harts if she doesn't even consider herself as one of them ?
  19. Edge was extremely popular among the casual fans so I don't see him being overpushed.

  21. Great match. I'm pleasantly surprised. Hase was tremendous on offense. I agree Misawa should have made more efforts to escape from Hase's holds. ****1/4
  22. I like the way Akiyama works on his opponent leg on the guardrail, He is so fun to watch on offense. I also like the arm work, it captivates me. As far as I'm concerned, I can totally buy Akiyama going toe-to-toe with Takayama.
  23. Good match. I enjoy Toyota's offense, she's fun. I agree though it's not the best selling of the leg I've ever seen.
  24. I'm the outlier here. I think it is extremely enjoyable. Kakihara doing his shoot stuff in a pro style environment is really enjoyable. Kikuchi is as good and fun as he was in the early nineties. Thee crowd might be a bit quiet but I don't care, I am too focused on what those guys are doing. Indeed, Misawa doesn't do a lot but I don't blame him, the others are a thrill to watch. I'm glad I've seen it.
  25. Average and skippable match.Takayama was indeed already an exciting wrestler and one of the most interesting in the match. The presence of Kanemaru is not that annoying. In fact, I like the touch of comedy he brings. As always, Kobashi has an aura and is entertaining to watch.
