  1. Rising Sun has a bright future I the tag division. RnR calling out everybody! There's some potential bangers on this roster. Ware gets a win over perhaps wrestling's most famous jobber. I'm all in for a Ladd/Brody vs Watts/Murdoch tag match. It seems Sullivan still has a few finishing touches to put on his monster. Gilbert is really leaning into this "teaching guys to play by the rules" thing. Let's see how long this lasts. Armstrong nets his first successful defense of the UWF TV Title. The non-finish to the main event is just gonna pour more fuel on the monster 8 man tag in Houston. Luckily for the good guys, Cox isn't afraid to stand up to the Sheik.
  2. You are seriously making each episode of Dynamite can't miss tv.
  3. The Horsemen are in AEW! Cornette & FTR may be the most perfect manager/tag team combo ever! Ric Flair vs MJF in a cage? Sign me up!
  4. The Shepherders are just a little to nasty for Black Gold to handle...for now. Konnan gets an impressive submission victory over PCW's gatekeeper. Bob Backlund is the leader of the Knights Templar! Shit is about to get wild in PCW! Pillman gets a win over young Eddie. Sweet moment with his brothers cheering him up after the loss. Candido vs Black Tiger sounds like a real workhorse title match. Tabarnak De Team arrive with a bang helping Oliver get the first win in the feud with his former running buddies. Ok Gary better get his shit together because "The Hitman" & "The Anvil" are only prepared to tolerate so many screw ups.
  5. You continue to provide realistic sounding match descriptions for each bout while also providing what would normally be the most believable result. Keep up the good work.
  6. The Last Battle of the O's ends the same as all the others. I wonder what happens now? Rheneigans scores the win for his team but it seem The Bombers aren't done with the Olympians. I think we all saw the Haynes/Morgan double DQ coming. Snuka goes a bit wild to win his no dq match with Gamma. Vin Man turns on the Diamond Aces and helps Gold Standard secure a Tag Title shot. Now there's one i definitely didn't see coming. I was wondering when Dream Machine was gonna show up again. He certainly picked his spot. By hook or crook Larry Z & Perez are taking the National Tag Titles into the new year. Another thing I was waiting on was for Baby Doll to make herself known but I would've never guessed she'd show up to help Tommy Goddamn Rich run Jerry Lawler outta Memphis! It's a wonder they made it out alive. After 3 consecutive heel victories you needed something big to ensure the fans didn't burn the Mid-South Coluseam down and boy howdy did you deliver! Steamboat gets the pin at literally the last possible second! What a way to end the night, hell what a way to end 1986!
  7. Oh man that makes it even better! Definitely worth adding.
  8. It may be a new year but it's the same OMG, still squashing fools. Rose gets a tainted win over Pillman but the real story is him getting called out by his old friend Oliver. Who does the Crippler have in store? Also the story of the large bearded fan continues. A pair of successful debuts for Konnan & Eddie. I don't blame Badd Company for being frustrated at recent events but they made a big mistake taking it out on the Odd Couple. Wow what a shocker! Gary Young returns, disbands the group he started then declares he & his mates are Knights Temples on a crusade. Dingo Warrior makes a impression if nothing else. Miller continues his winning streak against the Crazy Gang but it seems that they've got something bad in store for him. The future P.N News makes a memorable debut. This may be the craziest the Crazy Gang has ever been! The New MXE make a immediate impact by bringing the Tag Titles back to Jim Cornette. Speaking of whom, I liked his little flub during the intro. Burke's new recruits show promise. Interesting visual of Gary Hart being policed by one of his OWN men during the main event. It's a good thing he was though as the fans got a great title match out of it. I agree with Bret, a rematch is definitely in order.
  9. Neat idea using your last TV show of the year to showoff your new talent. You've always treated Peterson well. Eager to see what he gets up to this time around. Royal has some nerve insinuating "The Pride of Montague County" isn't a real cowboy! Sir Smiley sounds like a fun time. Yatsu vs Canek? AWA really is searching the globe for the best talent. Gagne & Valiant must've thought they were pretty slick throwing out a open challenge only giving people a hour to respond. Unfortunately for them the man from Powerhouse Hill happened to be in town. Some heated promos hardsell the big event in the Mid-South Coluseam tomorrow night. And what a event it is, so many matches to look forward to. None more so, I'm sure we all agree, than the "Last Battle of the O's"!
  10. Singh & Bennett are poised to dominate the tag team division in the new year. Richter decides victory isn't enough and goes apeshit after the bell. The whole roster will pay for her losing the title. McIntyre defeats a former World Champion to fulfill her promise to be TV champ when 87 comes around. Women's wrestling is good hands heading into the new year.
  11. Daveis & Lane are officially the stupidest men in professional wrestling! Sullivan wants more destruction!? I'm both scared and excited to find out what that looks like. Ok am I the only one finding Gilbert's new act a bit too wholesome? Benoit & Steiner are a great start to his new faction however. See Shiek this is what happens when you don't properly value your employees. Specifically when you shortchange a man like Jake Roberts. Damn Hayes turned on Garvin over shit from 3 years ago! I like that headline. You really can read Hayes' behavior as placing SUCH a value on loyalty that he takes things too personally. You don't mess with Bruiser Brody's money! Some touching send-offs & a great tease for a potential arrival.
  12. NWA signs Dusty Wolfe, Mitch Snow & Tony Falk
  13. Raw has settled into a 3 team race but there's still time for others to catch up. Sting & Luger are dominating Smackdown but there's 3 talented teams at their heels. Tag League is still anyone's game!
  14. NWA trades/cuts/signings for the new year. Warlord to Florida for Vladimir Petrov. Chris Benoit to UWF for Jim Duggan. Also returning Dick Slater as his loan is up. Dropped Jody Hamilton to the retirement list. Also dropping Missing Link & Soldat Ustinov Signing Jimmy Del Ray & Brian Knobbs.
  15. From the historic Greensboro Coluseam.... Airing live on close circuit television, The National Wrestling Alliance is proud to present..... (We open with a sweeping shot of the sold out Greensboro Coluseam filled with absolutely raucous fans before cutting to Caudle & Schiavone in a booth above the entrance) BC:Wrestling fans welcome to the most wonderful show of the year, Christmas Chaos! I'm Bob Caudle alongside Tony Schiavone and Tony what a year ending show we've got for everyone tonight. TS:No doubt about it Bob we're sending 1986 off in style. Seven huge matches with every title in the NWA on the line including two title unification bouts. And it's all leading up to the big one, Tully Blanchard vs Harley Race to unify the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. Folks let's waste no more time, let's send it to the ring where our ring announcer for the evening Dr Tom Miller is ready to go. DTM: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Greensboro Coluseam & welcome to Christmas Chaos! Would you all please rise, remove your hats and place your hands over your hearts as "The King of Country" Mr George Straitt sings our national anthem! DTM: Ladies and gentlemen your opening contest for Christmas Chaos is the "Merry Christmas" battle royal! 25 men will participate. Eliminations accur when a participant has been thrown over the top rope and both feet have touched the floor. The winner shall receive a title match of his choosing ant time in the year 1987. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair wins the "Merry Christmas" battle royal last eliminating The Assassin. DTM: Ladies and gentlemen this match is a six man tag team Grudge match! One fall with a 20 minute time limit.Introducing first in the corner to my left, From Austin Texas, 304 lbs Dirty Rhodes!...and his partner from Dunlap Kansas 260 lbs "Hangman" Bobby Jagers! And their team partner from Tampa Florida 233 lbs "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater! And their opponents accompanied by their manager "Number One" Paul Jones from Pampa Texas 285 lbs Black Bart!...and his partner from Tampa Florida 288 lbs Ron Bass!... And their team partner from Elwood City, Pennsylvania 243 lbs "Maniac" Matt Borne!...together they represent Paul Jones' Army. Referee Nick Patrick. The Posse (Dick Slater,Bobby Jagers & Dirty Rhodes) vs Paul Jones' Army (Ron Bass,Black Bart & Matt Borne) w/"Number One" Paul Jones A all-out brawl from the opening bell. Patrick struggles to maintain order with repeated instances of all six men in the ring fighting. This chaos ultimately works against The Posse as during one of these pier-sixers Jones slips Ms Betsy to Bass who promptly wraps the bullwhip around his fist & drives it into Jagers' head for the tainted victory. The brawl continues after the bell which is eventually broken up by security but not before Matt Borne delivers a Piledriver to Slater on the ring apron! Winners:The Paul Jones' Army DTM:Ladies and gentlemen, this next match is to unify the NWA United States Tag Team Titles with the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles. Introducing first in the corner to my left, From Amarillo Texas at a combined wrestling weight of 484 lb, they are the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team champions, Chris & Mark Youngblood The Renegade Warriors!.. and their opponents, accompanied by their manager JR Foley...from Sydney Australia at a combined wrestling weight of 218 kg George Barnes & Jonathan Boyd...The Commonwealth! Referee Randy Anderson. Title Unification Match The Renegade Warriors (Chris & Mark Youngblood) defeat The Commonwealth (George Barnes & Jonathan Boyd) w/JR Foley when Foley inadvertently hits Barnes with his helmet allowing Mark to score the win! Winners and new NWA United States Tag Team Champions:The Renegade Warriors DTM:Ladies and gentlemen this match is a Four Corners Elimination Match to crown a new NWA World Television Champion. The rules are as follows, Two wrestlers will be in the ring while the remaining competitors be on the apron. Any wrestler may tag in any other wrestler. Eliminations may accur by pitfall, submission, disqualification or count out. Introducing first, accompanied by his manager "Number One" Paul Jones...from Singapore 240 lbs...The Great Kabuki! The second participant hails from Warrington, Cheshire, England, 95 kg the "British Magician" Steve Wright! The third participant is accompanied by his manager JR Foley...from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 106 kg Chris Benoit! Finally from Tampa Florida weighing 290 lbs "Dangerous" Dan Spivey. Referee Theodore Long Four Corners Elimination Match Order of elimination Dan Spivey eliminates The Great Kabuki with the powerbomb. Dan Spivey is counted out after Kabuki returns to ringside and sprays him with the "Asian mist" while he was on the floor. Steve Wright eliminates Chris Benoit by countering a dragon suplex by dropping down, reaching up with his legs and pulling Benoit into something resembling a victory roll. Foley shakes his head in disappointment and leaves without Benoit. Winner and new NWA World Television Champion: Steve Wright DTM:Ladies and gentlemen this match is set for one fall, 45 minute time limit for the World Tag Team Championships. Introducing first, in the corner to my left the challengers. Accompanied by their manager "Precious" Paul Ellering, from Chicago Illinois at a combined wrestling weight of 575 lbs...Hawk & Animal... The legion of Doom...The Road Warriors! And their opponents, accompanied by their manager, trainer & advisor James J Dillon...from the dreaded Four Horsemen...from the state of Minnesota at a combined wrestling weight of 511 lbs...The NWA World Tag Team Title holders Arn & Ole Anderson, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew! Referee Nick Patrick. As much of a contrast in styles as you can get in tag team wrestling. The Andersons methodical use scientific matt wrestling collides violently with the Road Warriors use of raw power and uncanny athleteticism for men their size. Every time the Andersons lead either Hawk or Animal into a trap it's escaped through sheer brute force. However that same cunning allows the champions to cut off the challengers flurries insuring they can never gain TOO much momentum. Add in that Ellering makes a point to shadow Dillon on the floor and the result is an even back-and-forth match that keeps the capacity crowd either on the edge of their seats or on their feet for over 20 minutes. Finally the Road Warriors manage to get Arn in position for the "Doomsday Device" but this gets Ellering's attention and he's caught off guard as Dillon bumrushes him driving him into the ringpost. Unaware of what just happened Animal dives into the cover...one...two...thr...DILLON DIVES ON ANIMAL BREAKING UP THE COUNT! Patrick has no choice but to call for a disqualification! When it's announced that the Road Warriors have won the match but NOT the titles the crowd is furious! The Road Warriors turn to Dillon with a glare that has the manager scurrying for his life but the Warriors grab him before he can escape! Hawk scales the ropes again as Animal hoists Dillon on his shoulders. The crowd is going crazy as Dillon is begging for his life. "Doomsday Device" on JJ Dillon! The Warriors may not have won the titles but recieve a heroes send-off as they collect help Ellering to the back. Winners:The Road Warriors, Still champions: The Minnesota Wrecking Crew. DTM:Ladies and gentlemen, this match is for the NWA United States Championship. One fall with a 45 minute time limit. Introducing first in the corner to my left the challenger. Accompanied by his personal valet Ms Elizabeth...from Sarasota, Florida weighing 240 lbs..."Macho Man" Randy Savage! And his opponent the NWA United States Title holder... from the USSR weighing 121 kg..."The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff! Referee Theodore Long. Two of the most intense men in the sport collide and it's every bit the explosion you thought it'd be. Savage really goes all out to make sure HIS match is the won everyone is talking about tomorrow, alternating between attacking with the ferocity of a starving wolverine and selling everything Koloff does like death. The end product is a emotional match that has the fans in awe as both men absorb the others best shots and keep coming back for more. A recurring theme is Savage finding different ways to avoid the "Russian Sickle". One such instance leads to the finish as, after nearly 30 minutes of grueling action, Savage just misses getting his head taken off by allowing himself to collapse to his knees in exhaustion. Unfortunately for referee Long he was standing behind Savage and as such takes the full impact of the charging champion. Sensing an opportunity, Soldat Ustinov sprints to the ring and lines Savage up for a shot with the Soviet flag. Luckily Savage sees him coming and has the presence of mind to duck under the swing. Nikita however is trying to wake the ref and so when Savage dodges the flag catches Koloff in the back of the head! Ustinov is horrified at his mistake and goes to check on Nikita giving Savage the chance to clothesline him over the top rope. Savage moves as quickly as he can and snaps Koloff into a piledriver. Then after waking the ref, scales the ropes with the last bits of his energy and crashes down with the "Savage Elbow" for the 1...2...3!!! Dr Miller has to shout into the mic to be heard over the roar of the crowd as he announces the NEW NWA UNITED STATES CHAMPION! As Savage & Elizabeth are celebrating up the aisle Ivan Koloff makes his way down to the ring where Ustinov is trying to check on Nikita. After entering the ring Ivan turns Ustinov around and immediately starts chewing him out. Ustinov desperately tries to explain to a clear unsympathetic Ivan while Nikita pulls himself up in the corner. Suddenly the conversation is interrupted by Nikita bursting from the corner and nearly decapitating Ustinov with a "Russian Sickle"! A seething Nikita turns to his "uncle" to gage his reaction and seems pleased when Ivan's response is to pick Ustinov up and hold him in place so Nikita can deliver another! Security is in the ring trying to get to Ustinov but a glare from Nikita holds them at bay. With Ivan's help he scrapes their now former comrade off the mat before sending him into the ropes for a double "Russian Sickle"! With that the Koloffs finally leave allowing security to remove Ustinov. Winner and NEW NWA United States Champion:"Macho Man" Randy Savage! DTM:Ladies and gentlemen this is your Christmas Chaos main event. It is a one fall match with a 60 minute time limit to unify the NWA World Heavyweight Championship with the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first in the corner to my left the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title holder...from Kansas City, Missouri 253 lbs "Handsome" Harley Race! And his opponent part of the dreaded Four Horsemen...from San Antonio, Texas weighing 222 lbs...the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard! Referee Tommy Young. What happens next is over 30 minutes of technical excellence. Nothing too fancy just two of the best doing what they do best. The crowd is firmly behind Race and you can almost FEEL Greensboro trying to will him to his 8th title win. Finally he seems poised to achieve just that as he has Blanchard down in the corner in position for his patented diving headbutt. However just before he can come off the ropes The Andersons are seen coming down the aisle. Thankfully security is point and intercepts them before they can make it to the ring. They make enough of a scene that Race momentarily hesitates before diving which is all Tully needs to move out of the way. Giving his opponent no time to recover, he grabs Race and hits a quick slingshot suplex for the victory. The show ends on a scene of Blanchard being hoisted onto the Andersons shoulders with Dillon and Flair coming down to join in. Winner and STILL NWA World Heavyweight Champion:Tully Blanchard!
  16. The Giant Slayers warm the crowd up with a opening win. Singh wins the final battle of the Monsters. I wonder if I should read anything into Bennett helping her at the end. Medusa retains against McIntyre in a match that thankfully stays Dallas & LaRoux retain in truly Nasty fashion. Though it seems The Star Girls are finally ready to fight fire with fire. Combs is bringing home the gold thanks to Lisa Moretti of all people. That's what Richter gets for antagonizing the entire roster. WWW is set for big things in 87.
  17. The RPM'S get their well deserved comeuppance. That's why you don't mess with family. Champion throws his partner to the monster to save his own ass. Though to be fair, the monster in question IS Vader. It took a little longer than he thought but Brad is finally rewarded for breaking with CCW. Roberts becomes the first UWF North American Champion & he does it on his own. Hayes screws Garvin out of a job and his own team out of a win. What the hell is he up to now? I knew Ladd had to have a plan but goddamm Bruiser Brody? That is a terrifying pairing. Roberts must have been pretty pissed that Kassie didn't accompany him for his match. Good thing for Reed though. JR is right. The UWF managed to cultivate a great deal of intrigue in just one night. Can't wait to find out the answers.
  18. When you have CM Punk vs Will Osprey as your opening match you must be doing something right. And his final test is Terry Funk! Maybe Punk should watched who's name he dropped. Brodie fires The Dark Order then loses the TNT Championship to Eddie Kingston. Horrible night for the exalted one. FTR retains thanks to their friends in The Pinnacle (minus MJF) Taz & Stark want competition? Ricochet can help them with that. Page retains the World Title but that gets lost in the aftermath of a HONEST TO GOD WWE INVASION!!!! Now THIS is fantasy booking!
  19. I got a feeling Scorpio will be fine without his mask. Armstrong gets back the title he never lost. Embry & Adonis have gelled quickly as a team and earn themselves a title shot. Madril gets exclusive rights to the "Garden". I enjoyed the "Exotic Garden" while it lasted. Cooley really should've picked a different stip. JYD & Olympia capture the tag titles in what must've been a brutal cage match. Idol loses an I Quit match without actually quitting. I'm sensing a rematch. The New Breed emerge victorious in the Skywalkers match. I was wondering if I'd missed a trade when I saw the Caribbean Connection in the battle royal but Fuller revealing the Briscos will be involved with USA Championship Wrestling it makes much more sense. Chicky screws the pooch leading to Rhodes becoming the new Southeastern Heavyweight Championship. Brody leaves his now former manager to a well earned asswhooping. Can't wait to see what 1987 has in store for USA Championship Wrestling!
  20. From the WTBS studio in Atlanta GA it's.... NWA POWER HOUR! Previously Recorded/Airing on 12/24/1986 On Commentary:Bob Caudle & Tony Schiavone Ring Announcer:David Crockett (The NWA opening video slams on screen with quick clips of the top stars set to "Rock Warrior" by The Rods. We close on a shot of NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard before cutting to Caudle & Schiavone in the booth) BC:Wrestling fans welcome to a special Christmas Eve addition of NWA Power Hour, professional wrestling's most exciting hour. I'm Bob Caudle alongside Tony Schiavone and Tony, we're just 24 hours away from the event that the entire wrestling world's been talking about, Christmas Chaos. TS:It certainly has Bob and for good reason. Every title will be contested tomorrow night in the Greensboro Coluseam and we'll be hearing from several of the competitors in those matches throughout this broadcast. Also in the main event "Dangerous" Dan Spivey will meet the Assassin to determine the final participant in the Four Corners Elimination Match at Christmas Chaos to determine the new NWA World Television Champion. Bob what a 24 hours to close out 1986 for the NWA. BC:What a 24 hours indeed Tony especially since we've got the debuts of some of the talent looking to make waves in 1987. One of whom is set to compete in our opening contest. Let's send it to the ring. Match #1 "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi defeats Executioner with a jumping headbutt. Commercial+Promo for Christmas Chaos airing live on close circuit television. Check your local listing. Match #2 The Great Kabuki w/"Number One" Paul Jones defeats The Intern with a thrust kick. (Post match Paul Jones & Kabuki head to the booth. Jones tells Schiavone that Christmas Chaos will be the night of the Paul Jones' Army. First Matt Borne & The Outlaws will "rid the NWA of those Bonanza rejects once and for all" then Kabuki will defeat 3 men in 1 match to become the new NWA World Television Champion. 1987 WILL be the year of The Army and Christmas Chaos will be where all doubters will be silenced...permanently) Match #3 The War Party (Billy Two Eagles & Joe Lightfoot) defeat The Gladiators(1&2) by sending Gladiator #2 into the ropes and leveling him with a double knife edged chop. Commercial+Promo for Christmas Chaos airing live on close circuit television. Check your local listing. TS:Ladies and gentlemen my guest at this time will challenge Nikita Koloff for the NWA United States Championship tomorrow night at Christmas Chaos. Please welcome "Macho Man" Randy Savage with the lovely Ms Elizabeth! (HUGE POP) Randy in just 24 hours you have to step into the ring with "The Russian Nightmare" himself. A man who's held the NWA United States Championship in what many experts have described as a "death grip". What are your thoughts heading into such a highly anticipated bout? RS:Tony Schiavone you wanna know what's going through the Macho Man's mind before this big match? Well that's a easy one cause it's the same thing that goes through my mind before any of my matches, How long am I gonna have to beat this man's ass before he takes the hit and stays down? Now the Macho Man is under mo illusion what awaits in the Greensboro Coluseam. It doesn't matter what you or i think about Nikita Koloff as a person the fact of the matter is he is one of the most awesome athletes in professional wrestling today. You do NOT become a 2 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion & the current NWA United States Champion by accident. But Nikita you cannot afford to be under any illusions either. There is no Red Army training exercise that can prepare you to march into the heart of the Danger Zone. Their is no KGB psych-ops that can prepare you to stare into the eyes of madness! And there is no opponent you can face to prepare for the Macho Man BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE ELSE LIKE THE MACHO MAN! So Tomorrow night in the Christmas Chaos you better bring every trick your masters in the Kremlin taught you because i am not leaving Greensboro without the NWA United States Championship! (Savage power walks to the ring as the crowd erupts in cheers) Match #4 "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/Ms Elizabeth defeats Flame by dq when Nikita Koloff stormed the ring and shoved Savage off the top rope as he was set to deliver the "Savage Elbow". The brawl that followed only lasted a couple of minutes before security broke it up but the crowd was on their feet the entire time eventually breaking into a chant of "let them fight" Commercial+Promo for Christmas Chaos airing live on close circuit television. Check your local listing. (Before the main event JJ Dillon joins Tony Schiavone in the booth. He says even if the Horsemen wanted to come to Atlanta "and why in God's name would they?" They couldn't because they're undergoing intense training for Christmas Chaos. Flair is going to win the "Merry Christmas" battle royal and earn himself a title shot. The Andersons are going to "prove once again why they're the greatest team on God's green when they slap the paint off those Lord Humongous fanboys" and Tully Blanchard is going to cement his legacy as "the greatest NWA World Heavyweight Champion of all time when he does what Mother Nature should have done a long time ago & retire Harley Race!" Christmas Chaos will simply be another chapter in the ongoing dominance of the Four Horsemen over the NWA and anyone who doesn't believe him can tune in live and be proven wrong) Main event. Winner advances to the Four Corners Elimination Match at Christmas Chaos to crown a new NWA World Television Champion. "Dangerous" Dan Spivey defeats The Assassin with a running bulldog. (Caudle & Schiavone hardsell Christmas Chaos one final time before wishing the fans a merry Christmas, a happy new year and promising to see them in 1987) NWA Presents Christmas Chaos. Saturday,December 25th Greensboro Coluseam in Greensboro NC and available on closed circuit television. National anthem sung by "The King of Country" George Straitt. Main event. Winner gets a title shot of his choosing.
  21. The show starts of hot with Lawler getting the jump on Rich. We're in for a war on New Year's Eve. Apollo seems like the kind of cocky pretty boy heel that fans would love to hate. Cabin Fever are ready to tear Larry Z & Perez apart to get those Titles. An apologetic Ross bests Huber and is ready to get back on track. Rock n Roll with a solemn farewell. Snuka vs Singh in a no dq match was the only way this could end. Can't wait to see it. We're getting Morgan vs Haynes! A million dollar wager on the Beauty Shop. Morrow had better choose carefully. Rocket Man huh? Ok let's see how he does. Mulligan and Blackwell get the better of the Syndicate this time but Parsons swears vengeance on New Year's Eve. Henning is talking the talk but doesn't walk the walk...this time anyway. What a card for the Mid-South Coluseam!
  22. I like Medusa as a one woman cavalry. McIntyre has one more to go before completing her goal. The Glamor Girls go 0 for 2 as the Star Girls win the title shot. Combs overcomes a game Nellie to win another shot at the World Title. Bring on the Supercard.
  23. Thatcher gives Travis a ultimatum, return the title or be suspended! Idol getting in Budro's head by making him wait another week to find out the stipulation to their title match. "Dirty" Dutch throws the gauntlet down. Him vs Dundee in a Loser Leaves Town match! "Khannie" LOL Armstrong gets one over on Embry. That must've felt good. Onto Huntsville. Travis gets a win in the opener. Now he's got a big decision to make. A Four Corners match sees the good guys both get the best of their rivals. The Southern Boys have quickly gotten their groove back. See Kirchner, this is why you don't agree to face Killer Khan in a Mongolian Stretcher match! Likewise, you don't agree to chain yourself to a guy called "Mad Dog"! Slick's first big screw-up is a big one and now Mantell's gone! The Bullet pulls out the Georgia Jawjacker! I'm shocked...shocked I say! The numbers game proves to be too much for The American Dream & "Rugged" Ronnie. CCW is charging full steam ahead into 87.
  24. NWA Live @ Cumberland County Memorial Auditorium in Fayetteville NC 12/23/198 True Grit (Bob Brown & Al Tomko) defeat Rock n Roll Phantoms (1&2) when Brown made Phantom #2 submit to a Scissored Armbar. Mick Foley & George South wrestle to a 10 minute time limit draw. "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley defeats Rocky King with the "Flying Willie" The Great Kabuki w/"Number One" Paul Jones defeats Dirty Rhodes when a Jones distraction leads to a "Asian mist"/Thrust Kick combo. "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord defeats "Lord" Jonathan Boyd w/JR Foley with a spear. Harts Afire (Bruce & Keith Hart) defeat The Outlaws (Ron Bass & Black Bart) w/"Number One" Paul Jones by dq when Bass grew frustrated and started lashing the Harts with Miss Betsy! "Nature Boy" Ric Flair w/JJ Dillon defeats "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff with the Figure Four Leglock.
