  1. TNT makes his explosive in ring debut. Mando tries to do his hermano a solid & take out Pillman but it doesn't work out. Big Bubba bests Brickhouse but Camp Cornette ends up making a huge deal with British Steel giving San Diego Battleground it's first match. The Crazy Gang excel in chaos as Gilbert & Steamboat find out the hard way. Douglas probably shouldn't have been a convincing challenger but to your credit he surely had the crowd believing.
  2. Dream Machine gets nasty hanging Garea. Iceman & The Bruise Brothers sounds like a trio with potential. Bockwinkel may want to put a pause on chasing the world title, don't wanna risk pissing off Colon right now. Snuka beats Billy Jack but pays big time. Rock n Roll is on the board! Lawler is two-thirds of the way to his rematch with Idol. But thanks to him Garvin has a win over the champ giving him a strong case for a rematch. It may not have been the smart thing but Lawler definitely did the right thing.
  3. MACW Live @ the Richmond Coluseam in Richmond VA 10/16/1986 "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab defeats Soldat Ustinov with a Flying Bodypress. The Barbarian defeats "Mr Excitement" Johnny Ace with a Big Boot. Brutha's in Arms (Shaska Whatley & Roosevelt Jones) defeat The Can-Am Express (Doug Furnas & Phil LaFleur) when Whatley pinned Furnas with the "Flying Willie" EL Santo Negro defeats The Great Kabuki with a La Magistral cradle. Non title "Total Package" Lex Luger vs Kevin Sullivan ends in a Double DQ. The Koloffs (Ivan & Nikita) defeat The Hangmen (Bobby Jagers & Dirty Rhodes) when Nikita hit Rhodes with the "Russian Sickle" (Before their match The Assassin grabbed the house mic & challenged Slater to make their match a Submission match...which Slater accepts!) Submission match "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater defeats The Assassin with a figure four leglock. "Handsome" Harley Race & "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/Ms Elizabeth defeat The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair & Tully Blanchard) w/JJ Dillon & Baby Doll when Dillon went to hit Race with his shoe but Race ducked & Dillon hit Blanchard instead! Race through Dillon out of the ring & with Flair brawling with Savage in the crowd & Baby Doll trying to throttle Elizabeth there was no one to break up the pin.
  4. Florida better find a couple of tough guys for Boone & Sawyer & quick. Sabu claims his first notable scalp. And we have the next round in the epic Glamor Boys/Highwaymen saga. Kazaharu busts out the mist against Regal! A rematch seems inevitable. Good & Plenty promises to be a entertaining counterbalance to the "main" semifinal match. Herc & Hacksaw boil over to the surprise of no one. Clearly something more substantial is in order.
  5. I agree there's a argument that a number of these tragedies wouldn't have happened if the wrestler had simply been somewhere else. Brody in particular stands out in this regard.
  6. You knew it was coming but it STILL hits hard. Magnum T.A is truly wrestlings greatest "what if". The opening exchange was a badly needed moodlightener. I wonder who Roy's Slick friend could be? Is even the tragedy of Magnum's accident enough to bring back Mr Olympia? I love how Madril is a dick too EVERYONE regardless of their alignment. I don't think you could've picked 2 better then Brad & Wildfire. Winter or not, it's gonna be HOT in Montgomery!
  7. Colon starts the show with a very compelling case. Everyone was fine with him beating the monsters for them but the second he starts playing rough with their precious Steamboat they turn on him. I'm not really digging this whole "happy to be here" thing Iceman has going. In fairness that's probably because I watch WWE where EVERY face does this. I wonder what's bugging Kernodle? It seems Larry Z has already succeeded in bringing out Perez's mean streak. Idol is bringing out the heavy machinery to keep Lawler from another title shot. Why do I get the feeling Paul Jones needed a new pair of pants at some point during this episode? I don't think anyone is surprised to see Henning being a sore loser. I agree with Ronnie,Idol isn't paying him enough attention. I liked the little contest between between Gagne/Valiant & The Fabs over who's the bigger pair of cocky bitches. Ox & Hayes being their usual charming-ly terrifying selves. The Olympians bust the Union & advances in the tournament at the same time. Steamboat answers Colons points with equally good ones. He didn't HAVE to give Colon a title shot. He admitted with NO hesitation Colon deserved it. There is a certain tragedy in this story. Colon was a good man who spent 2 years fighting for his life with almost no help & with no clear reward beyond survival. He does survive & with no reward coming from the powers at be has to swallow his pride and ask the champion himself. And because Steamboat is ALSO a good man the request is granted. But it backfires. Steamboat's schedule is so busy he can only grant it that night meaning Colon has 10 minutes to beat a man who can go a hour. Naturally he falls. One can only imagine the range of emotions he felt at that moment. Frustration at the result, Panic at the possibility that he just blew his only chance, Despair at the idea the previous 2 years was for nothing and finally RAGE. At those who tried to take away his livelihood, at those in the back who never even tried to help, at the fans who cheered his suffering, and finally, the company that saw his pain as nothing more then a way to sell tickets & offered nothing in return. And finally it was too much to take anymore & he snaps on the ONE man who truly seemed to acknowledge what he'd been through. Steamboat is clearly right here but I can't say Colon is wrong. And that my friends...is good storytelling.

As you saw in the opening video package fans "Downtown" Denny Brown scored the win for his team in a 6 man tag against the trio of NWA World Jr Heavyweight Champion Eric Embry alongside Doug Somers & Gary Royal collectively known as Radiance. From Mid-South we have,NWA North American Champion "Hacksaw" Butch Reed,"Soul Man" Rocky Johnson,Bad News Allen,A man who had quite a run here in Mid-Atlantic before our hiatus "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch & get this fans,Ted DiBiase has earned a spot in the tournament which is in addition to teaming with Steve Williams to defend the NWA World Tag Team Titles against The Minnesota Wrecking Crew. BC:My Goodness Tony Mid-South is clearly sending their best no doubt about it. I'm sure CCW has done the same. TS: They certainly have so far Bob. BC:My Word I'm not sure the ring can contain that much talent. Wrestling fans Halloween Havoc is shaping up to be the biggest event of my career and I hope to see you at the Omni. But enough talking let's get to the ring for our opening contest. Match #1 "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord defeats The Executioner with a spear right after the opening bell! Commercial+Bob Caudle runs down the MACW House Shows for the coming week. (We return to a VTR from the Four Horsemen relaxing on the beach. Ole says he wasn't sure DiBiase & Williams would be dumb enough to fall for their "little trick" last week,he then rephrases that it was mainly DiBiase he wasn't sure would go for it but either way for once he doesn't mind being proven wrong. Arn chimes in that last week wasn't personal, that's just how the Horsemen say "hello" What happens at Halloween Havoc won't be personal either, they'd do the same to "any 2 chumps who thought they could keep us from what's rightfully ours". Flair says people keep asking what'll happen if he & Tully are the ones in the finals. He says he finds the question offensive, OF COURSE he & Tully will meet in the finals who's gonna stop them "nobody that's who". Tully says he & Ric ALWAYS understood they'd end up fighting for the top prize, that's what happens when you put the 2 greatest wrestlers on the planet in the same group. He & Ric may be friends but they agreed to be businessmen first & they both know having control of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship "regardless of who holds it is best for business" . Dillon finishes by saying that Halloween Havoc will go down in history as the night the Four Horsemen became the "undisputed masters" of professional wrestling. Match #2 The Interns defeat Cruel Connection with a powerslam/big splash combo on Cruel Connection #2. Commercial+Promo for Halloween Havoc (We return to Bob Caudle sending us to taped comments sent in by Nikita Koloff from "the Siberian wilderness" We see footage of a forest filled with massive trees, almost unnaturally still before the camera lands on a man performing pull-ups using a tree branch. Nikita notices the camera & drops to the snow covered ground. Shirtless despite the cold Nikita stares straight down the camera & declares matter of factly that no one can keep him from regaining what he NEVER truly lost. Not "Randy Macho", Not "Dusty Rose",Not "Ted Dee-bee-us-see". "ALL SHALL FALL BEFORE NIKITA"! The video end on Nikita giving a "most muscular" pose, tounge sticking out, intensity pouring off the screen) Match #3 Chris Benoit w/JR Foley defeats Billy Two Eagles with a Dragon suplex. Commercial+Promo for Halloween Havoc (Before the next match we hear comments from Kevin Sullivan. He says he feels a storm coming for MACW. A darkness that shall cover every corner of the land. And when it does MACW shall be reborn as a "kingdom of sin" where only the strongest shall survive. The rebirth shall start on the 29th when The Great Kabuki defeats 14 "infidels" to win the final spot in the tournament. He finishes telling the MACW roster to "give your souls to your God now for soon your blood shall belong to Abudadeen" Match #4 "Dangerous" Dan Spivey defeats Red Skull with a powerbomb. Commercial+Promo for Halloween Havoc (We return to see Caudle joined by JR Foley. Foley says the "campaign to civilize this savage continent is proceeding apace" and shall proceed to the next phase in 2 weeks time when his "African warrior" destroys 14 men to claim the final spot in the Halloween Havoc Tournament. When Kamala becomes NWA World Heavyweight Champion he says he says "even the most thick headed yank" won't be able to deny the superior nature of the Commonwealth and shall fall in line as he leads them to a new golden age) Match #5 The Assassin defeats Rocky King with the "Assassin Lock" Commercial-Bob Caudle runs down the card for the Richmond Coluseam tomorrow night. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs Soldat Ustinov "Mr Excitement" Johnny Ace vs The Barbarian The Can-Am Express vs Brutha's in Arms (Shaska Whatley & Roosevelt Jones) El Santo Negro vs The Great Kabuki Non title Lex Luger vs Kevin Sullivan The Hangmen (Bobby Jagers & Dirty Rhodes) vs The Koloffs (Ivan & Nikita) "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs The Assassin The Four Horsemen (Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair & Tully Blanchard) w/JJ Dillon & Baby Doll vs "Handsome" Harley Race & "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/Ms Elizabeth Bell time 7pm. Tickets still available. Main event The Road Warriors ( Hawk & Animal) w/"Precious" Paul Ellering defeat Brutha's in Arms (Norvell Austin & Savanah Jack) with the "Doomsday Device"
  9. Akbar cries "Havoc" & lets slip the Dogs of War! I believe this is the first I'm seeing Regal as a face. Let's see how he does. I love the visual of Solie visibly debating with himself whether or not to *gasp* high-five someone. I can just picture every man in Florida wanting to punch The Hollywood Blondes faces in. If I wasn't clear, that's a good thing. Hercules vs Hacksaw to decide the real "Alpha male of Florida". Sounds like a main event worth the ticket price. Just when you thought Florida couldn't get any crazier,Mad Dog & the Maniac roll up & be all "Alright we're here now give us somebody to kill or we're going to kill everyone" All this plus a crazy stacked tournament. He'll yeah.
  10. Stallion may have to look into finding a partner in the pretty near future. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I kinda forgot the RPM's were a thing for a bit. I did remember before today but for a couple of promos I was as hyped as the Mid-South fans. Koko is coming along nicely. The Superstars aren't giving up those belts OR the Shiek's money without a fight. Happy to see other people starting to go after the bounty on Casey. Especially Papa-san. Lord knows however much he hated literally EVERYTHING else about America he could never get enough of our "green American money" I don't know why but I'm going to say Carl Fergie wasn't refereeing either of Ladd's men's matches. Oh Precious...if only you'd payed up you could've avoided this particular embarrassment. But I'm glad you didn't.
  11. MACW Live @ Memorial Auditorium in Greenville SC 10/13/1986 Intern #1 defeats The Executioner with a big splash. The Warlord defeats Billy Two Eagles with a powerslam. "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord defeats Mick Foley with a spear. "Prince of Australia" George Barnes w/JR Foley defeats George South with a neckbreaker. "Dangerous" Dan Spivey defeats Savanah Jack with a powerbomb. The Midnight Rockers (Marty Jannetty & Shawn Michaels) defeat Assassins 1&2 with a sunsetflip/dropkick combo on Assassin #2. "Handsome" Harley Race defeats Ole Anderson w/JJ Dillon with a piledriver.
  12. McIntyre may just realize her goal of best win/loss record in 3W if she keeps this up. The Glamor Girls get their biggest win yet (with a little help) & declare their quest for gold. The battle of the odd couples ends with the former champions standing tall.
  13. Can Adonis do ANYTHING right? Slink pays off helping Madril keep his 5k. The Nightmares get a win over the Desperados but you wouldn't know it after getting worked over by Ms Betsy. Woman finds a way around the ban to aid Luscious get on over on Street. Budro's Buddies best the Studs in a Southern Streetfight! Welp Sato & Goto are gone but what's all the commotion in the back? Hope Tommy gets better soon. Chicky's master plan works to perfection! Khan & Brody may be a unstoppable duo!
  14. MACW House Show results for 10/11/1986 MACW Live @ St Andrews High School in Charleston SC "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala w/JR Foley & Friday defeats 3 local talents with "Air Africa" after piling them on top of each other. Rocky King defeats Assassin #2 with a DDT. "Dandy" Don Bass defeats George South with a Lariat. "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord defeats "Lord" Jonathan Boyd w/JR Foley with a spear. Assassin #1 defeats "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab with the "Assassin Lock" El Santo Negro defeats Soldat Ustinov with a "La Magistral" NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques & Raymond)(c) w/Armand defeat The Hangmen (Bobby Jagers & Dirty Rhodes) when Armand passed Jacques his directors megaphone which he hit Rhodes with. MACW Live @ Greensboro Coluseam in Greensboro NC The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) w/Kevin Sullivan defeat The Can-Am Express (Doug Furnas & Phil LaFleur) following interference from Sullivan. Shawn Michaels defeats Savanah Jack after ducking Jack's Superkick & hitting one of his own. "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers defeats Marty Jannetty with a Brainbuster. Kevin Sullivan defeats Mad Dog Vachon with the "Devil Stomp" "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff defeats Mr Wrestling 2 with the "Russian Sickle" Black Bart defeats Arn Anderson w/JJ Dillon with the "Texas Trash Compacter". After the bell Dillon tried to whack Bart with his shoe but Bart blocked it & decked Dillon with a hard right hand. NWA United States Championship "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff(c) defeats "Dangerous" Dan Spivey with the "Russian Sickle" following a distraction from Uncle Ivan.
  15. Oliver must've fallen on hard times since Dark Journey & the boys left with how hard he's chasing the bounty on Casey. Can't say I'm surprised to see Leduc get the boot. Ayala is one hell of a replacement. Anybody else get the feeling that the caning he took from Murdoch was the ONLY reason Tojo was able to leave Baton Rouge alive? Hmm. Interesting timing on that "injury" Carl. Mid-South is certainly sending 5 of the very best to the Omni. Kinda bummed Rock n Roll skipped no-showed.
  16. First Vancouver. 2 stiff tag matches get the night started off. C.Adams & Hart finally have enough & (literally) kick B.Adams out of the group. Plus he's already been replaced by TNT. Honestly not too surprised the Thunderbirds peace out'd considering his behavior. Nice of Vic & Black Gold to lend a hand though. 1 down & 4 to go for the Masked Avenger. Pillman & Guerrero make more magic. British Steel really need to consider bringing some friends to their matches with the MXE. Black Tiger proves his worth by taking down the fighting Irishman. On to Kelowna. The Odd Couple with another win over former champions. How long until their title shot? Simmons runs through Miller. Hart's men halt the Brigade. Gilbert is making his case for another title match. A injured Rotunda isn't enough to get past Bubba. The Bull Pin must've been ecstatic with their boys winning this slugfest. Owen is certainly due a rematch after this performance.
  17. That had to be the best 60 seconds of Charlie Platt's CCW career. I'm glad the best commentary team is back together. Nice to see Humperdink's men still have a job... well Khan does anyway,Goto & Sato have to put in some work. Budro's Buddies get a nice tune up ahead of their Southern Streetfight against the Stud Stable. Thatcher accomplishes 2 vital tasks at once, announce how CCW is selecting it's representatives for the big tournament & perhaps even more important, send the Rich's into a tizzy! Wow. Prichard joining up has somehow shoved Adonis even FURTHER into the doghouse. Though it seems Sherri isn't QUITE ready to commit to him either. I'm glad that Street & Poffo will truly be mano a mano. Honestly couldn't expect this week's episode of the Fiesta Garden to compete with last weeks but it was still pretty good. Am I the only one kinda touched that Madril fired the band JUST because Slink didn't like them? Also liked his interaction with "Tom". But the meat of this week's offering is Chicky's guarantee that he'll be managing the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Huntsville is in for a hell of a night! Taylor wins the TV Title & a spot in the Halloween Havoc Tournament thanks to a little help from friends. I'm soooo glad I'm not Adonis right now.
  18. Black Tiger shows what he can do solo. OMG runs into his first serious roadblock. Adams is getting into some hot water with his crew. The Bomb Squad go 2-0 against Badd Company. The 5 Man Army is still standing strong & ready for payback! Cornette & crew show the kind of tricks that put them on top of the PCW tag scene. St Clair beats the right hand man but can he finally get one over on the head of the table?
  19. Haystacks with a lightning quick monster squash. Gold Standard vs Karachi Vice sounds like a fine way to spend 15 minutes. Always nice to see Vin Man take a whipping. I can already hear Dream rubbing his win in Lance's face babay. The King gets past El Jefe. But I have a feeling it's only gonna get harder from here.
  20. MACW Live @ Winthrop Coluseam in Rocky Hill SC 10/9/1986 The Red Tide (Ivan Koloff & Soldat Ustinov) defeat The Interns (1&2) with a double Russian legsweep on Intern #2 Mad Dog Vachon defeats Armand Rougeau with a Canadian Backbreaker. Norvell Austin defeats Mr Wrestling 2 after avoiding a kneelift & hitting a jumping headbutt. Black Bart & The Great Kabuki fought to a double c.o. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab,"Downtown" Denny Brown & El Santo Negro defeats Radiance (NWA World Jr Heavyweight Champion "Flamboyant" Eric Embry,"Pretty Boy" Doug Somers & "Gorgeous" Gary Royal) when Brown countered a Brainbuster attempt by Somers into a inside cradle. "Downtown" Denny Brown earns a future shot at the NWA World Jr Heavyweight Championship. "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley ended in a double DQ when Norvell Austin & Black Bart both interfered leading to a 4 man brawl that had to be broken up by security. Halloween Havoc Tournament Qualifier "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/Ms Elizabeth defeats Kevin Sullivan with the "Savage Elbow" Halloween Havoc Tournament Qualifier Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll defeats "Chief" Wahoo McDaniel when Baby Doll distracted Wahoo as he was going for a Tomahawk Chop allowing Blanchard to crotch him on the top turnbuckle before hitting the Slingshot suplex.
  21. Having listened to some of him online i gotta say, your worry about capturing Solie's voice was completely misplaced. Who better for a push in Florida than a "Beach Boy"? I understand Humperdink did some of his best work in Florida & Los Cubanos are poised to be a big deal. Also can I just say how cool is was of Chicky to pay for Humperdink's vacation. Oh the Florida fans are going to have a lot to say too the Fabulous Blondes. I had to read the back-and-forth between Solie & Akbar twice,it was that good. I can just imagine the tension as Shiek moved towards Solie & then scared a thank you out of him. I think it's safe to say that Florida will NEVER forget the debut of Sabu. I loved writing The Youngbloods but I'm glad you've got them again. Oh that first round is stacked. Kinda disappointed that if The Glamor Boys & The Highwaymen meet it won't be the finals but as long as they meet I'm good. Wonder who Akbar's bringing in? Whoever they are October 17th could be a HUGE night for Devastation Inc. Hercules vs Duggan sounds like a wonderfully hard-hitting feud.
  22. Lance enjoying some well-earned schadenfreude at Dream's expense. Lighting Strike vs Zybyszko/Perez could be a sleeper hit in the first round. "The mountain from Stone Mountain" puts everyone on notice. Gagne & Valiant basically hand young Putski a title shot on a silver platter. Idiots. The Family vs The Bruise Brothers sounds like a prime opportunity for Vin Man to get his ass whooped. Sign me up. Though it's sweet of him to adopt a Pitbull for them. I like The Olympians & The Union in the first round. They clearly can't wait so why should we? Idol makes a solid first choice in El Jefe only to find out he has to deal with Garvin in the meantime! A truly Priceless celebration for the new champions. Ok wasn't expecting a flash Adias pin. Let's see how Henning responds. Good to see RnR still have some fight in them. What a 180 from the start of the show to the end. From such a respectful challenge to such a violent assault. It's not a surprise Colon snapped but I wasn't expecting it quite so soon. The only question is...what happens next?
  23. MACW TV Friday October 8th On Commentary: Bob Caudle & Tony Schiavone Ring Announcer: David Crockett From the Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg SC (We open with a series of clips from last weeks show in Hampton VA. We see The debut of Norvell Austin & Savanah Jack as part of Shaska Whatley's Brutha's in Arms. This Debut of Dan Spivey to team with Luger & McDaniel against The Spectral Hand. & Finally we see the end to the chaotic 8 man tag main event with Dillon again proving the difference maker. We cut to the opening montage set to "The Hit" by Richard Myhill before going to Caudle & Schiavone in front of a joint NWA MACW logo) BC: Wrestling fans welcome to another exciting episode of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance, the very finest pro wrestling in the world. I'm Bob Caudle alongside Tony Schiavone and Tony no matter where we go people cannot stop talking about the upcoming extravaganza,Halloween Havoc. TS: They certainly do Bob especially since the announcement from NWA president Bill Watts that the event will be centered around a 1 night 16 man tournament with the winner recieving a shot at the most coveted prize in our sport, I'm speaking of course about the NWA World Heavyweight Championship currently held by the tremendously talented Magnum T.A. BC: That's right fans. In case you missed it each territory of the NWA will send 5 men to be either chosen by management or determined in qualifying matches with the 16th & final entrant to be determined via a "Last Hope" battle royal on the week before Halloween Havoc which will itself feature talent from each territory. We already know the first 2 entrants from Mid-South,the NWA North American Champion "Hacksaw" Butch Reed & the NWA Mid-South Champion "Soul Man" Rocky Johnson. Ya gotta hand it to Mid-South Tony they've started us of with a bang. TS: No doubt about it Bob 2 of the very best in the world today. But the leadership of Mid-Atlantic isn't going to be outdone. We've selected 3 of our participants & I've been given permission to announce them. The first 3 representatives from Mid-Atlantic are...NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair (boos) NWA United States Champion & former World Champion Nikita Koloff (THUNDEROUS boos) & finally...7 time World champion Harley Race! (Massive cheers). The remaining 2 will be determined tomorrow night in the Winthrop Coluseam in Rocky Hill SC. BC: But enough talking about the future, right here tonight we're in Spartanburg & we've got their favorite sons Spartanburg Vice in our opening contest. Let's head to the ring. Spartanburg Vice (Jerry Bryant & "Big" Lou Winston) defeats A-Team (Don Bass & Roger Smith) with the "Spartanburg Special" to a huge "hometown" pop. Commercial-Bob Caudle runs down the MACW House Shows for the coming week. BC: Wrestling fans tomorrotomorrow night in Rocky Hill 4 men will compete for a chance to enter the tournament at Halloween Havoc for a chance for a NWA World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Let's take a look at one of these men,"Macho Man" Randy Savage! (VTR- a montage of Savage in ring spliced with workout footage set to "Rock Warrior" by The Rodz) (We cut to the ring where George South & Ron Ritchie are being introduced. Everything stops as JR Foley & Friday lead Kamala to the ring. Foley takes the mic & makes the 2 a deal,if they can defeat his "African warrior" in a handicap match he'll give them "a thousand yankee dollars to split among yourselves anyway you wish". South & Ritchie converse a bit before agreeing leading to...) "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala w/JR Foley & Friday defeats George South & Ron Ritchie with "Air Africa" on both men. Commercial+Promo for Halloween Havoc (Before his match we see pre-taped comments from Dan Spivey. He says he had just finished his obligations to the AWA & was mulling over his next move when he saw what Sullivan & his minions were pulling. He heard Wahoo & Luger were looking for a partner & saw his opportunity. Says he can't stand guys like Sullivan who can never seem to do ANYTHING without at least 2 guys holding his hand. Says while he'll gladly lend a helping hand to those who'll need it he looks forward to showing MACW what he can do on his own) "Dangerous" Dan Spivey defeats Mick Foley with a powerbomb. Commercial+Promo for Halloween Havoc BC: Wrestling fans the moment you've been waiting for all week. It's my honor to introduce the NWA World Tag Team champions, Ted DiBiase & Steve "Dr Death" Williams! (The building erupts as the Champs enter the interview area) BC: Gentlemen welcome. TD: Thank you Bob Caudle. I know I speak for Steve when I say we were so excited to hear Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling would be rejoining the NWA. You truly do have some of the greatest teams in the sport today & Steve & i can't wait to face'em all in front of the great fans of Mid-Atlantic like the folks right here in Spartanburg. SW: Ted's got it excactly right. But while I'm here i gotta say that while I've been watching MACW TV week after week there's one team that's starting to irritate me. One team that can't seem to keep our names out of their mouths. One team tha...( Williams trails off as The Andersons & JJ Dillon enter the interview area) BC: Now gentlemen let's keep this professional. OA: Bob Caudle The Andersons are the most professional team in all wrestling. AA: In fact that's why we're out here, professional courtesy dictates we welcome our guests here. I mean good God we've got the NWA World Tag Team champions live & in living color. OA: You boys find the place ok? We're so glad you could make it,some people - not us of course - but some people were saying you 2 looked a little yellow for refusing to show despite Arn & i calling ya out week after week after week....but hey you're here now. SW: That's right we're here now. Sorry we kept you boys waiting but see unlike you we weren't able to sit on our duffs for months, we had to actually ya know DEFEND this titles! (This gets the crowd laughing & The Andersons seething. Dillon sensing his clients tempers flaring steps forward) JJ: Now gentlemen -& I use the term loosely- I'd love to engage you 2 in a battle of wits but as you're clearly unarmed I'll come right to the point. Do you accept our challenge or not. And if so,when? TD: OK you wanna come to the point let's come to the point. You're damn right we accept! (Huge pop) And as for when, how does Halloween Havoc sound? (Dillon & The Andersons huddle for a bit before Dillon approaches the mic again) JJ: Sounds lovely to us. Ric,Tully what do you guys think? (DiBiase & Williams look momentarily confused until Flair & Blanchard come from behind with stereo chopblocks. The Andersons immediately join in & even Dillon & Baby Doll get a few licks in. Caudle frantically tells the technical team to send us to commercial just as Flair slaps the Figure Four on DiBiase) +Promo for Halloween Havoc (Caudle & Schiavone are clearly shaken as they recap what just happened. 24. First Round of the tournament was a bit predictable but 3 out of 4 of the matches sound like a good time. Cooley cucks Adonis...again! It really speaks well about Pride that Prichard has to cheat twice in the same week against him. Speaking of nice touch having the Columbus crowd cheer Prichard at first. The Bullet is becoming something of a tattletail. Ok Prichard going full heel in the finals wasn't a surprise but the interference of Sherri & The Super Destroyers WAS. Sherri finally has some gold in her stable. Speaking of stables, The Studs win thanks to the "loaded" boot of the future Col Parker. I don't know anything about Columbus Mississippi...but I know they just witnessed one hell of a night of wrestling.
