  1. I think he's done, because there's no way he announces his retirement with the intention of coming back when the heat dies down due to investor fears of what happens without Vince guiding everything. I'm sure he will still have some input, particularly with business stuff. Obviously something serious has come up if he retires with a tweet a couple of hours before Smackdown after weeks of going out of his way to put himself back on TV in response to the allegations.
  2. Ex/Taz/Tony is the team they should stick with. Maybe just bring JR out for one big match on PPVs or something.
  3. HHH/JJ creative team could actually produce pretty good tv, imo
  4. Mauro ain't moving the needle, pal
  5. AEW has 6 announcers (2 of which are workers), have multiple guests per show. They also hired Big Show and Mark Henry for commentary (I have no idea if Show does commentary as I never watch the youtube shows). They shouldn't be even thinking about picking up another commentator.
  6. Ending is real weird because there's nowhere else for that feud to go after a War Games and a barbed wire deathmatch, so Eddie losing to massive amounts of fuckery, but throwing Jericho into the spider web doesn't seem like a satisfying ending for him. Other than that, show was pretty rad.
  7. No matter how bloody the barbed wire match gets, there is no chance it is anywhere close to being as violent as Darby/Brody. That shit was so gnarly the idea of putting Sting anywhere near that is scary shit.
  8. Double J was by far the most interesting thing on the GCW show, too. Dark outlaw Double J is really something I don't think anyone could have predicted even being a thing, let alone actually being compelling.
  9. It feels like a lot of things have been put on hold or stretched out waiting for Kenny to return, so that should really inject a boost of energy. Have there been any updates on Bryan's return schedule?
  10. Ol' Double J lookin' GOODT. I watched one of the doc episodes and actually it was very well made and has me interested in more than a "this is going to be such a disaster" kind of way. A whole section on Ric might actually die in the ring and it'd be worth it really seems to be tempting fate. Can't believe the Jeff isn't a real Horseman bit on the podcast was long term booking all along.
  11. Lol at this jobber team. Completely lacking any emotion in their faces whatsoever.

    WWE TV 7/11-7/17

Just going to TV 14 doesn't mean they have to go back to Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression era bawdiness. Like....WWE would be completely in control of that.
  13. I think it's more important to sell your heart out when you're losing actually
  14. This has been a very sports entertaining television program
  15. Takeshita is fucking awesome
  16. I believe a lot of heavy bleeders in the 70s and 80s would take a handful of advil an hour before match time
  17. Booking Wardlow's first defense to be against Orange Cassidy seems like a real bad idea unless the plan is to continue the trend of the crowds turning on the TNT Champion.
  18. I saw a guy that had to be in his 50s riding a bike while wearing a current Raw logo shirt and hat back in Spring time.
  19. I don't have an issue with it other than the amount of ad breaks in all main events on Dynamite is terrible, but especially when it's a big spectacle match and 40% of it is in PIP.
  20. TK definitely overdoes the blood and guts stuff, however, it certainly differentiates from WWE and it's not like every major Memphis/JCP/ECW show didn't have blood and bullshit.
  21. Feel like Netflix is fucking up not retooling the doc to be the ultimate Dark Side of the Ring
  22. I feel like there was a company that had an angle where the title corrupted anyone that had it, without screaming it in your ear every time. I can't seem to recall what company/title it was, though.
  23. Wonder if Khan's hiring and power consolidation was hedging because Vince knew this stuff was going to be coming out sooner or later
  24. It's probably more that Sasha is a talent they definitely do not want to lose, and Naomi is the wife of Roman's cousin, so it's best to keep things as quiet and civil as they can. I do wonder if Sasha just leaves the industry all together and moves on to music/acting after having the passion beaten out of her enough to quit or try to quit twice in 3-4 years.
  25. Also Christian is doing it with people he has established history of instead of MJF who got a reaction one week for saying something wild and that turned into LOOK AT ME I'M SAYING EDGY SHIT with randos for a month and a half.
