  1. Meltz said it was an excuse to have Lawler and JR call the show by themselves by taking out all of the other announcers.
  2. Lawler vs. Cole - I thought the handshake spot would lead to Cole getting popped but I didn't know that Cole headbutting the Cole Mine would be so great. I thought the Cole Miine stuff was great but I really wanted Lawler to get in the ring alot sooner. I understand the psychology but Cole needed to get his ass kicked more before the tide turned. christ, Cole was on offense way too long and you could hear the crowd turn on the segment. If they wanted to have LAwler sell the whole match, they should have just done LAwler vs. Swagger with 5 minutes with Cole. Eh, it was fun watching Lawler punch Cole but this sucked. It was better than HArt vs. Mcmahon from last year but not by much.

ORton vs. Punk- Best match on thee show by far but it may have been hurt heat-wise since the best parts were the subtle ways that Punk destroyed the leg and Punk's facial expressions which as noted above, could not be seen in the cheap seats. Still, awesome match psychologically wise and on the 2011 MOTYC set.
  4. Eight Man Tag - Hey they all did some finishes and it ended quickly. No complaints. The entrances lasted longer than the match.
  5. Rhodes vs. Mysterio was fun enough. It got a little more time than I thought it would and I liked the use of the knee brace and the face mask. Less heat than the opener except for the Cody cheers but still a good story throughout.
  6. Didn't want to believe that Sheamus-Daniel was going to be a dark match but I guess I can see it on the DVD release. Edge vs. Del Rio was better than i hoped for due to Del Rio going all out. I love working on a body part and using Edge's arm as the focus was all good for me. Add the big bumps from Del Rio and the hot ending and I was happy.

  21. Come on, you can do better than this! I had written down some stuff but after thinking about it and for several different reasons I just deleted it. Instead of writing edit, I just closed my eyes, decided to have some fun and picked a letter on the keyboard. FFFFFF means nothing at all since it was random though it does kind of come out as me going FFFFFUUUUCCCCKKK* which is kind of funny. Rey Mysterio Jr was heavily influenced by TM and DK's matches. IIRC and I can't quote anymore since I read the interview in the late 90s -- He loved their athleticism and I believe their quick creative thinking. Since Rey I beleive would like to sit in the arena, look at the ring and imagine a creative match taking place inside his head I imagine he truly appreciated TM and DK's work. It's always my belief that it's harder to come up with this stuff right away at the pace DK and Tiger were doing and matches that display it no matter who it is always gets me worked up more emotionally. Than I went on to how Sayama is such an influence to a high percentage of wrestlers eitheri seemingly directly Saskue/Lyger - or indirectly. Than I think I complimented the Sabu post since I'm such a huge Sabu mark. But yeah basically, I have to give up message board posting unless I'm really excited like I am over the Savage/Garvin Best Territory Match of the 80s candidate or somrthing like that. It's a bad habit (that can accumulate with others) that distracts one from their goals in life and I was kind of disguested at myself for sinking into a habit that I really shoud give up for the most part so I said screw it, you can't keep on doing this RE. You can't correct everyone. Work on yourself as any being should always be doing. Reduce message board posting to absolute minimal talk and save that for productive sensible people with productive type posting. Habits wether they're good, bad or ok are extremely powerful forces in ones life. Remember that kids.
