    I doubt any one who isn't familiar with wrestling already would even know what the hell is going on in this book. This was a book by a net guy for other net guys.

    I usually trust Meltzer's word. However, he is just another guy with sources. I am not saying the book isn't filled with inaccuracies. I don't know. It just may be that the sources Randazzo used are different than the one's Dave uses. His "review" seemed more like an opportunity to exonerate Pillman of any bad pub than it was to debunk the book. It reads more like "I knew Pillman so trust my word more than the guy who talked to other guys who knew Pillman".

    I haven't read that far but it is perfectly acceptable to use someone as a source on one hand and criticize them for their behavior on the other.

    This looks like a must own. A local indy here is supposed to release a "documentary" about how rough hardcore wrestling is or something but are taking the serious approach. I have a feeling this one will be ten thousand times better.

    Graham sucked... seriously. I have never seen a Graham match that could hit a Top 100. For Backlund, you start with the Backlund-Patera 5/80 match. This match was #6 in the DVDVR poll... Bob Backlund vs Adrian Adonis (1/18/82) I am sure there are some 70s Backlund matches that could enter the conversation such as his hour long draw with Valentine, the Koloff match and the Sheik match. Might have to watch some of those 70s Inoki matches as well.

    My problem with watching wrestling with people is that I tend to get distracted and just talk instead of paying attention to the match. I had this problem when I hung out with teke.
