  4. I edited it in. I took out the HHH-Benoit and Edge-Benoit matches to make room for Benoit-Regal and the tag match. To be honest, I am thinking of making a Benoit and Eddie 2005 digest so the Benoit losses don't bother me that much.
  5. http://s3.invisionfree.com/New_Millennium_...dpost&p=3602791 For a look at Loss's thoughts, click on the link.
  6. Well, then you have never seen the 6/84 Shiek-Slaughter match that Loss gave ***** to.
  7. I liked the idea by anarchistxx about capping it off with Wrestling With Shadows so I am offering it as a free disc unless you would rathe rhave a free copy of the Bret Hart Q&A from last year in which he shoots down appearing at Summerslam and his relationship with McMahon now.

  13. I just finished Disc 1 of the 4 disc Bob Roop shoot and this is one fo the most entertaining shots I have ever listened to. The entire first shoot goes into detail about how he woudl go from territriy to territory as an enforcer who was used by guys like Eddie Graham to stretch and hurt marks who wanted into the business. He talked about this stuff for over an hour. He also talks about how he was making $1000 a week in Amarillo but dreaded it so much he went back to Florida where he was making about $300 a week. The 2nd disc starts off with a long, fascinating story about travelling to Iraq in the early 70s to face General Adnan-Kaisee (sic?). Well, over there, no one knew it was a work until American-educated professionals started grumbling about the hokey nature of American wrestling and how it resembled American wrestling, not collegiate wrestling. Just wild stuff... and we haven't even hit Mid South yet.
  14. I think you missed savagerulez diatribe on the topic.
  15. After watching a match like this, it's sad that people still think Rey isn't big enough to be on top. Here he is, working with a guy who has a "strongest man in the world" gimmick, and the crowd *TOTALLY* buys him as a threat. Shockingly good match. If you buy what some people here say, it is because Rey is not a believable threat to the big guys.
  16. Well, so far I have seen one AJ Styles street fight and so far, it is the best setting I have seen him in. So, if you want to criticize AJ, go right ahead. Knock yourself out... but at least give a valid reason. I never thought I would see a good Mark Henry match but it just happened (there is a thread that has your name all over it). Anyway, when you made the "Jimmy Rave is a piece of shit" statement, I thought you were referring to his in-ring work. Too bad he is probably the best heel currently working. If you didn't notice, this is the wrestling business where about 90% of the people in it are of questionable character.
  17. OK, I have 4 commitments. A few more and I will start taking the donations.
  18. Ok the topic was about AJ Styles in a street fight setting. Styles does just fine in that setting. Now Rave is a piece of shit? Please, I gotta hear your idiotic explanation of that one.
  19. You obviously haven't seen his street fight with Jimmy Rave.

  21. Hate is good.
  22. I have been telling him this for months. Still, I find this to be true for almost any radio show... the host has a point of view and if you try to question that view, they can dismiss you and get the final word in without a chance of rebuttal.
  23. Bad News Brown hated Murdoch too because he was racist. He loved Andre the Giant even though he shit on him but he couldn't stand Murdoch.
  24. If that was true, then Akira Taue vs Takeshi Rikio from NOAH 11/5 would be 2005 MOTY. It's a pretty bad match, but the pop for Taue winning the GHC Title is unreal. YEah, and by the same reasoning, Benoit-Malenko from Hog Wild must have absolutely sucked because the crowd did not give a shit about that match. Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but those biker shows happened in front of non-wrestling fans who didn't even buy tickets. Benoit and Malenko have had other matches that have been just as good in front of ticket-paying fans that have gotten way more heat. That's almost like criticizing Motorhead for not getting a great reaction from the crowd at Wrestlemania X-7. I was trying to think of a better example, but I'm struggling to think of a good match with no heat. I can only think of some of Mariko Yoshida's early ARSION stuff, but I don't know if that's an accurate comparison or not. Just to clarify, I am on your side of the argument. I was using that as an example of how using Alvarez's logic, a match with no heat or bad heat would not be any good.
