  1. Storm Cradle Driver. To me that is one ugly move. How people are willing to play roulette with their neck like that is beyond me. Oh, and the Ganso Bomb.

  3. Of course they matter. They can indicate who the public is tuning into watch. When Rey and Eddie were b umping the ratings by a million viewers in the Dominic feud, it clearly showed that the Hispanic market was turning in to see the soap opera. Whenthe feud ended, that entire market disappeared. How do we know this? A breakdown in ratings. I am not saying ratings affect the bottom line from a profit standpoint or how much ad revenue is generated by the ratings. I am saying they are a useful tool in assessing the watching habits of the public. How was that not clear from the first post?

  10. I don't understand why they didn't just have the Rumble on last... or am I missing something?
  11. Oh, I know. Hell, that makes it even worsein my eyes. If you have to half-ass a move, why even bother?
  12. There is no worse finisher than the FU. Nothing else even comes close. It is a Fireman's Carry ending a match in the year 2006. Pathetic.
  13. The fact that you even mentioned Rey in that sentence puts a smile to my face.
  14. There is always the headlock pin where the guy in the headlock turns his opponent on their back while stuck in the headlock. Think Ric Flair-Ricky Steamboat or any one of several Harley Race matches. The guy getting pinned either has to re-establish himself in a sitting headlock position or let go to break the pin.
  15. I got bored of the DVDVR discs themselves so I don't know if I would be interested in a tournament that already resembles one we already did. I would say no.
  16. I haven;t watched SD! throughout in ages but is there always a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. next to Vince McMahon? Talk about your polar opposites.
  17. Just finished watching Mark Henry vs. Rey Mysterio from this week's SD! and you guys have to explain the Mark Henry love to me because that was a ** TV match tops. People used to comment how HBK would get good matches out of big guys by bouncing around the ring for them while they just lumbered around and that is exactly what I thought of this week's match. Hopefully, last week's match was much better becasue I am not feeling the love at all.

  20. I think the 619 is a move that would work in small doses. If a guy happens to land that way nad Rey decided what the hell then we would be raving about it. The fact it happens in every single match is what kills the spectacle. However, I wil ltake the 619 over the bronco buster every single day of the week.
  21. Except Ricky Steamboat was put over as a "martial artist" and most martial arts moves don't look like they could hurt anyone if you just look at them but it was put over as such.
  22. I am having serious doubts about releasing it or going through the trouble of continuing it. I have a bad taste left in my mouth from the Hart set so I am kind of disillusioned with the whole idea right now.
  23. Vince McMahon winnig it was a pretty low moment.
  24. To me it is as believable as the Worm or the People's Elbow where the guy has to lay there for an hour while Garvin takes his sweet time jumping on him. If the opponent is so incapacitated that Garvin can stomp him then why doesn't he just pin him? If it is to show them up (like the People's Elbow) then why wasn't it ever put across that Garvin was simply embarassing his opponent? If he isn't unconscious, why doesn't he roll away? Why doesn't he just kick Garvin's leg from under him or grab a hold of the foot? To me, it is an unspectacular signature move as aethetically unpleasing to the eye as it is hokey. It is the way I felt when I was 15. It is the way I feel now. If it was a guy like King Kong Bundy or Earthquake doing it, maybe I could buy the fact that you have the guy's body weight coming down on him. With Garvin? No way.
