John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio - That was a nice surprise. Why is he hanging out with Zeb Coulter? I fell asleep at the computer during the match.

Cesaro, Neville & Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev, Sheamus & Wade Barrett (Kickoff Match) - Man, Ziggler’s offense did not look good on Sheamus. I don’t know if that was DZ’s fault but it didn’t look good several spots… the Fameasser, the DDT. - On the flipside, Cesaro was over and hit his stuff beautifully… except the 2nd big boot to Barrett. - For some reason, the Network froze during the Big Swing and you really have to give Cesaro props for the way he balances himself during the Swing. On pause, he looks like he is falling backward and it is pretty amazing to look at.

I actually have hope for the Taker-Lesnar match since Lesnar isn't afraid to bleed. Maybe I am completely off base but I think blood will flow tonight for the first time in a cage in a long time.

Enjoying live wrestling is a valid reason but it isn't being dismissive of people who choose not to invest their time in the current product because they want some imaginary cred.

Not all. It makes perfect sense to not watch something you don't enjoy and watch versions of it you do enjoy. But that doesn't address Sek's point about the people who have to constantly tell everyone they don't watch the former and the "weird cred" thing. It is easier to tell people you don't enjoy a bad product than it is to do mental gymnastics trying to convince yourself that the garbage you are watching is good. Also, most people use it as a qualifier before a statement so you know where they are coming from. Most people know that the minute you are a wrestling fan on a message board, you're a fucking nerd. There's no cred to be found.

Main event was funnish. I was too busy being a Star Wars nerd so I missed the last hour but New Wyatts vs. Old Shield was ok.

The Seth-HBK segment was abysmal. Man, I am a little less than 2 hours into this show and I may have to tap out. This just isn't fun right now.

I only saw the end of the Brock-Taker exchange. Summerslam match has me excited for this one. I have a feeling Brock blades because he is Brock. Not hyped to see the Dudleys in the ring but I love watching New Day so I'll watch the next 10 minutes or so.

If we lose, no problem doing a live watch but it wouldn't be immediately. We have Survivor Series, Starrcade and holiday themes to deal with in Nov. and Dec. January has the Rumble but I think it would be easier to fit in than in Nov or Dec.

This is a great point. People are "cutting the cord" in record numbers. I'm actually considering doing so, myself. Zellner brings this up on the Reaction shows a lot but I am not just looking at RAW numbers but the actual percentage of viewers who are actually watching. So the number in viewership is down but the percentage of people who are watching is also down.

I actually made a similar point on Episode 5. Parv admitted he won't be putting many lucha wrestlers on his list because he didn't get it. Joshi wrestlers... probably none. Shootstyle guys... I don't see Parv putting these guys high on his list. If we have to accept common wisdom and reputation, we should all have HBK and Angle clocked in our Top Ten. We shouldn't trust our eyes and put Bruiser Brody, the best and most influential brawler of all time on our list.
